The auto emergency braking engaged while making a left turn. No cars in front. Had someone been behind me, they could have easily hit me. The seat belt locked as well resulting in being able to feel the seat belt inprint hours afterwards. This incident just happened on 11/24/25 and has not be inspected by any dealership or service center. There were no warning lights or messages prior to the incident.

When making left hand turn the AEB activated for no obvious reason almost causing rear end collision chain reaction for traffic behind making same left hand turn.

On the evening of [XXX], I was making a left hand turn onto [XXX] from [XXX]. I was the second car in line on the left turn green arrow. The first car went to the right lane. I went into the left lane. My car immediately flashed the light in the front window, the alarm went off, and slammed the brakes as if something was in front of me. Nothing was in front of my car in the left lane. Luckily there wasn't a car on my rear bumper otherwise I would have been rear-ended. The transmission in my 2024 Chevrolet Blazer is very noisy often making whining and grinding sounds and I experience rough shifting and transmission hesitation during acceleration or gear changes.

Purchased a brand new 2024 Blazer on [XXX] - 11 miles on the vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas, TX. Transmission failed at 1150 miles in Galveston, TX on [XXX]. According to the Galveston Dealership an extensive transmission repair was performed on the vehicle at 6 miles. According to the GM rep I spoke with, that maintenance was performed as a Service Bulletin Recall. Car was transported to Dallas by GM. Parts are on back order. No ETA for resolution. Vehicle has only 1650 miles on it. It is driven conservatively especially so during the first 1000 miles of use “break in period”. Was leaving our neighborhood and the vehicle was searching for a gear, revving and jerking. Check Engine light came on. Limped the vehicle slowly back home and contacted dealer. Had vehicle towed to dealer and they diagnosed the issue as a faulty valve body. Part is on national backorder.

I have been waiting for months for my recall to be completed. My dealership has been waiting for the parts from GM and they still haven’t received them. I’m not sure when the recall was initially issued but I contacted the dealership about it as soon as I was aware of it. Breaking system not properly working . The car is brand new and the issue is going on for 2 months. Chevy dealer want to have the car for 7days but they don’t want to provide loaner or a rental. This is a dangerous issue and dealer seems to don’t care!

The curtain airbags deployed at slow speed going over a speed bump. It shut off and would not start again. ONSTAR said it had been in an accident but it had not. The vehicle is at the dealership waiting on General Motors to do an inspection. There were no warnings or messages until it shut off.

The contact owns a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V433000 (Parking Brake). The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the vehicle failed the recall inspection. The contact was informed that the vehicle would not be released because of the failed inspection. The contact was informed that the parts to repair the vehicle were not available and would not be available until January 2026. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle had been with the dealer for two weeks. The contact stated that the recall notification indicated that the parts were available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 34,865.

Transmission & engine failure. Press the gas and it doesn’t move the car-feels as if it is trying to change gears and it isn’t working. Car under warranty & still not working. Been to the dealership multiple times and they are unable to fix the issue. No warning signs.

This is the 2nd time I have been left stranded unable to charge my vehicle due to the charge door malfuction on the vehicle. This is a safty issue due to the fact that if you are unable to charge the vehicle, you can get starnded somewhere unsafe putting yourself and family at risk. This charge door failure has happened once within 8 months after purchasing the vehicle, the charge door was replaced under warranty back a year ago. Now its has started to bind up and not open leaving me unable to charge my vehicle. I have taken the vehicle back to the dealership and they had to special order the part. Currenty I have not been able to charge my vhecile properly. I have to forcefully open the charge door causing more damage, until the part is replaced. Please look into this issue, I have contacted other Blazer EV owners and have found they too have had the same peoblem.

The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed high speeds, the vehicle vibrated abnormally. The contact stated that the vibration felt like the wheels were detaching from the vehicle, causing the children's car seats to also vibrate. The contact pulled over to the side of the road. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The rental company was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 46,831.

The contact's daughter rented a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving at an undisclosed speed, after driving over a small imperfection in the roadway, there was an abnormal scraping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The driver pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway. After a visual inspection, the contact observed that the exhaust mounting bracket had disconnected. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic by the rental company, and the vehicle was repaired; however, the contact’s daughter was not provided with the diagnostic results. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 29,000.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

I was driving down the highway at 70mph using the adaptive cruise control. There was nobody in front of me, and suddenly the vehicle started picking up speed. I looked at the cruise control and it said 115mph, so I hit the brakes to override it and slow down. when I reset it for , ~70mph again it worked fine. This happened to me two other times with the same basic scenario. The speed is always over 100mph, and it always occurs when the adaptive cruise control has been in use for at least 30 minutes. I have an appt with the dealer that I bought it from to have it looked at. No warning lights and no other symptoms.

We Leased this 2024 Chevy Blazer On December 18th, 2023, at Serra Chevrolet in Southfield Michigan 1. On [XXX] The Digital Speed Disappeared. The Steering Resistance Warning Came on. And The ECS Warning Came on. As Well as The Parking Break Service Lights and The Check Engine Light. ***The Steering Wheel Starting Locking, The Brakes Were Hard to Press.( It got Better 2. The Next Day [XXX] All of The Code Lights Came Back on, But Now The Shift Gear Wo0uld Not Work, Could Not Reverse or Move Forward. We Called Our Service Manager Scott. We were Towed The Next Day. ***All Codes Remained on. It is in Service Now at Serra Chevrolet-Southfield. We Do Not Feel Safe Driving This Vehicle We want them to Fix it for Others and to Give Us another Car. GM Ask the Dealers to Not Sell Certain Blazers for Safety Reasons.
