The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Trax. The contact stated while driving at various speeds over bumps, the vehicle emitted squeaky sounds. The contact stated that as she depressed the brake pedal, the vehicle pulled towards to the right and hesitated to respond. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the front driver's side tire tread was lower causing the failure. The dealer replaced the front driver's side tire however, the failure reoccurred several times while driving. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and to an unknown dealer who informed the contact that the mechanic could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V312000 (Suspension) was previously completed on the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.

We purchased the vehicle June 1, 2021. We started hearing a popping noise when being driven. Sometimes it was often and sometimes every now and then. The trax is in the shop as of now. We were told there was a crack in the frame. They said they would weld the area, but it would take time. Car had to be taken apart piece by piece. I asked them what would cause the problem. I was told it was when the car was turned sharply. I have talked to several people and I was told that did not sound right. A sharp turn should not make the frame crack. I wanted the frame changed. They said they would weld it and it supposedly be good as new. I do not feel comfortable driving a vehicle with a welded frame. I think it is a safety risk for me or anyone else to drive it. This our only car we have. They weren't even going to give me a loaner car to use until I made some calls and finally got one. They car is a 2019 and has less than 20,000 miles on it. I don't think this problem should have happened on a car this new.

I LEASED A 2019 CHEVY TRAX IN JAN ON THIS YEAR, HAD ABOUT 8,000 MILES ON IT LAST MONTH WHEN THE LOWER CONTROL ARM FAILED WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING IT. THERE IS RECALL FOR PREVIOUS YEARS BUT NOT MY VEHICLE FOR THE LOWER CONTROL ARM. LONG STORY SHORT, I FILED AN INQUIRY CASE WITH GM TO WHICH THEY SAID THE ACCIDENT CAUSED THE FAILURE. IN MY OPINION, THE FAILURE CAUSED THE ACCIDENT AND THANK GOD SHE WAS JUST ACCELERATING AT 3 OR 4 MPH FROM A STOP LIGHT WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. I AM ATTEMPTING TO GET THIS APPEALED BUT HAVING A HARD TIME, THEY SAID TO GET THE RESULTS OF THEIR INQUIRY I NEEDED TO GET A COURT ORDER.

The screen that tells you all information on vehicle like; speed, miles on vehicle, tire pressure, oil, etc. is 100% broken. It’s a black screen. Car has been an issue since I got it with this. How am I supposed to know if my oil is getting low without opening the hood and checking manually? I’m not a very tall person so I can not access this part of my car.

The 2016 through 2024 Chevy Trax all have an issue with the climate control fan resistor. It burns out on a regular basis. Very dangerous because as you can see in the pictures it got very hot. It's a bad design, the heat sink is not adequate to hold the voltage and or the motor is too small or bomdined. It's a serious issue that almost every Chevy Trax owner is experiencing. Please we really need your help to investigate this. My daughters drives this car and I need it to be safe. We only owned the car a month before this happened and someone already changed the fan motor and resistor before we got it. Our problem is with the blower motor not working. There is service bulletin released from Chevy MC-10155050-9999 There is an issue with temperature control cable causing some kind of electrical issue with the fan temperature speed setting. The fan does not operate causing fogginess onto pure on our windshield and unable to operate the car without having driving visibility issues. Which can cause an accident or worse death. But I can not even tell which tire would need air, if I have oil life left. And how am I supposed to know my mileage on my car when it comes to fixing it?

The contact stated that the vehicle was parked on the right side of the 2 vehicle garage when it suddenly caught fire after approximately 1 hour of being parked. A popping sound alerted the contact and her spouse to the fire. The garage was unfinished with a gravel floor and no outlets when it caught fire, and there was property damage. No warning lights illuminated. The fire department was called to the scene and was able to extinguish the fire. The fire department had put fire department was unable to determine the cause of the fire. The vehicle was towed and totaled due to the vehicle being consumed by the fire. There were no injuries or medical attention needed. The dealer was contacted and informed of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The manufacturer had sent personnel to take pictures of the fire and have the vehicle inspected. The manufacturer opened a case for the failure however, the case was closed due to the manufacturer not finding a defect for the failure. The failure mileage was 41,000.

THE STEREO DISPLAY GETS HOT AND IT WANT CONNECT TO MY PHONE. MY PHONE WAS RINGING AND WHEN I PUSH ANSWER IT WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING IT KEPT RINGING LOUDER I THEN PULLED OVER AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND OPEN THE DOOR. WHEN I TURNED IT BACK ON IF CONTINUED TO DO THE THE SAME AND LOUDER. I THEN WAITED A FEW MINUTES AND TURNED IT ON AGAIN AND IT FINALLY STOPPED. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER 3 TIMES BOUGHT 3 DIFFERENT PHONES AND STILL DOING THE SAME AS NO PAIRING. THE DEALER SAID THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL GM UPDATES THE HARDWARE FOR THE VEHICLE. SO NOW I CANT USE MY BLUETOOTH ON MY VECHICLE.

Engine light with P0299 code: Turbocharger/Supercharger Underboost. Car had hard time accelerating, especially going up the hills. Turbocharge By-Pass Valve replaced at a service center. Engine light came on again 2 weeks later when getting onto the freeway, attempting to accelerate to 70 mph. Same p0299 code. No prior concerns or symptoms, the car is under 89,000 miles.

The turbocharger in this vehicle cracked at around 50,000 miles and my mechanic predicts it will happen again after another 50,000. This makes the vehicle unable to accelerate at unpredictable times, making the safety of the driver of the vehicle, as well as others on the road, compromised. My mechanic believes this is a common problem with GM vehicles of this engine size. Please advise. Thank you.

2 years ago, my mother, previous owner, replaced water pump with dealership in Colorado. The car was around 2.5 years old. And less than 30,000 miles. About 6 months ago my overflow container was so hot it cracked. Idle hot came on. New container was purchased. 2 months less ago my car started to idle hot according to message on speedometer and NO hot temp was visible. Also, no check engine light was on. Water pump went out again. Less than 70,000 miles. Replaced water pump. Thermastat. Thermostat housing AND overflow because warped lid due to HOT. This weekend (XXX) my car has no check engine light, less than 70000 miles. Ran hot again. Smells like an oily sweet smell. Looked at oil cap. Milky substance. Appears head gasket is now out. The stable link light came on with the engine light and showed the car symbol with tread lines. This is the second time the stable link came on since my ownership. On accelerating the gas pedal, the car starts to studder, and the engine will not pick up speed on the highway. So cars are held up behind you, until it accelerates slowly to the highway speed limit. Between 44mph it starts studdering of power. It feels like a safety issue. It has started studdering at 35mph. I checked for recalls and found a lot of Chevys have this issue, but a different make and model.

The steering failed causing the vehicle to not be able to turn left. The dealership replaced the entire steering column to correct the issue. The failure happened while being driven by my daughter nearly causing a crash. She was able to stop and back up in the road as the vehicle would turn right but not left. The issue after the initial incident cleared up and did not affect the vehicle operation until the next day when it happened again. The second occurrence is when we took it in for service. The dealership stated the module in the steering column was failing. The module replacement required the replacement of the steering column.

Ac Delco manual rack and pinion this is the second time it’s been replaced in 3 months these are all the part numbers that are on it A118338053, 2110200000000x, 812563302, 4250 8252 the steering wheel knuckle that connects to the steering shaft from the rack is breaking down with every bump it gets worse it’s going to eventually cause an accident this is the 4th time I’ve tried to make contact about this issue as the first 3 times GM has completely ignored my messages and I don’t want this to get any worse it’s at the point I can’t drive the car right now and I already paid to have a new one put in plus the part and I’m out all that money and still paying on a broke down car I don’t think that’s very fair If we can get to this as soon as possible much appreciated thank you

While in operación vehicle brakes Apple themselves forcing the motor to work against itself. This has happened multiple times now. The vehicle has 22000 miles on it. It was at BLVD. GMC in Long Beach CA. We were told that the problems was a low battery that cause the computer to act out with brakes. Battery was replaced by them. 1 week later it happens again. Now BlVD. My 2nd chevy just under 79000 miles. Turbo went out on this one. I owe 11grand still Gonna cost 4 grand to fix. I dont know what. Chevy is doing but this is BS. JUST OUT OF WARRANTY. MY FIRST newer Chevy, engine blew at just under 79000 miles, $8 grand later, new motor just to blow up, year in half later This vehicle sat at dealership for over a year combined time of both times Vehicle number 2 has just been diagnosed, I will never buy another. Chevy product once these 2 are fixed and sold. I see myself upside down I. Purchasing these chevies and trade in sucks.

Turbocharger was replaced in October 2024. Now it is bad again as confirmed by the dealership. Check engine light was on. They had it in their repair shop and did a diagnostic test. Car stalled in the middle of the highway. The 2017 & 2018 Trax with the same engine have a recall for the turbocharger. The dealership would not honor the parts warranty because they said it was low on oil. No check oil light came on.

My car’s engine started to get loud one day and would run roughly as I drive. I got it check and the service center couldn’t find the issue as the car was good on all its fluids and there weren’t any leaks anywhere. Then some days passed and my vehicle started to slow down drastically on a highway (speed limit of 65) and my car would struggle to accelerate and so I was forced to switch from the middle lanes on the left to the lane all the way in the right, it was very difficult to do so as cars were passing me at high speeds. My car was struggling to accelerate and the engine started running rough. The engine light then came on. So I got it checked ant a local service center and I was told my turbocharger had to be replaced as it malfunctioned somehow. I can’t drive my car as it would be traveling way below the speed limit. I did not bring it to my dealer yet.

I was driving and all of a sudden my touch screen went black and i couldn't turn my stereo down or off. I even pulled over, shut the car off and opened the door to cut the power and it still would not go off. It was very distracting while driving because i didn't know what was wrong. I was panicking that it may be an electrical issue and was afraid my car would catch fire. It has gone out on me once in awhile for a few seconds since 2020 but i didn't think much of it. The backup camera still worked and the reception would cut out in dead spots but i could do absolutely nothing with the volume or power to it.

October 2024 the turbocharger was replaced. A few weeks ago check engine light came on. Bad turbocharger again while I was on a highway the car stopped running. Dealer said they will not replace it under the parts warranty. They said it was 3 quarts low on oil and I need to show receipts for last 3 oil changes. From previous times there they knew my son is a mechanic & did oil changes. They wanted me to call my son to ask him how much oil he put in after looking online it is a very common problem with the Chevy turbochargers. It will but an excessive amount of oil and cause it to be black and sludgy. I emailed the general manager. He never responded. I also filed a complaint with GM and consumer protection. When they replaced it in October it was still under the extended warranty. It is now over the 100,000 miles. However, I think a turbocharger should last more than 6 months. I could have been killed on the highway while broken down due to a part they know is defective. Instead they treated me like trash. It is not the first time they have done this to me. The car already has a new radiator, transmission, faulty turbocharger, and something with the valves was fixed. The car is a lemon. I just want them to be held accountable since they know this is a common occurrence with the Chevy turbochargers

My check engine light came on after filling up with gas, after checking the purge valve cantilever was bad, I bought it and had licensed mechanic who owns his business replace it. Once again the check engine might came on. The error was cylinder 4 miss , I was told either the spark plug or coil was bad. My mechanic said ger coil and if that's not it he would replace spark plugs. I purchased the coil for a four cylinder engine because that's the only way they come. My mechanic took off the part which was broke and upon taking it out.he saw water in the coil holder and told me this was bad. He suggested I look up recalls on my vehicle upon which I found e recall on the puge valve along with a recall on the coil system which described the same problem of water leaking into the engine. After call recall department I was told they would cover the purge valve repair but there was no recall attached to my vin on other problem which should be. I bought the car with 28000 miles on it and have less than 44000 on it now. It should be covered under thus recall I have done all maintenance required and don't put many miles on it. I am a retired individual living on a budgeted income and thus problem should be covered under recall as it is the same problem as others have had. My

Upon acceleration above 40 mph, the car starts studdering with little power on acceleration. Releasing and pressing the accelerator until it starts picking up speed. This behavior worsened as the day went on. I had to put my emergency flashers on, while entering the highway ramp. Then it will pick up speed, just not rapidly as normal behavior on the accelerator. The stabletrax light came on, the engine light, tread lights. Then it drives normal until the next time.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed that the connector for the A/C unit had failed and needed to be replaced. The independent mechanic became aware that the wire for the A/C unit was burned, causing the A/C unit to malfunction. The A/C resistor, connector, and A/C blower motor were replaced. The contact stated that the resistor and connector had been burned 3 times and needed to be replaced again. The failure persisted, and the A/C unit continued releasing the burning odor. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was 71,200.

I turned on the vehicle and the check engine light came on *NOT BLINKING* for the first time. The traction control light also came on after a few minutes of driving. About a minute later, the vehicle began to slow from 40 to a near-complete stop in the middle of a busy road. No blinking lights or alerts. I pulled the vehicle into a parking lot and parked. The vehicle began shaking slightly. I turned off the vehicle for about 15 minutes or so and was able to drive back home with the check engine light still on. I called to have the vehicle towed to a dealership.

Water has been pooling in the wheel well under trunk of my car undetected due to the covering overlap. Water has been leaking due to the rain from outside in. My back seats were wet, my spare tire was flooded, and a smell has began to set in my car. My cars speed has been slower to increase which can put my response time to dangerous situations slower. I have an appointment on the 10th of January to have my car looked at and I have began a claim with Chevrolet. No warning signs were made present. I had cleaned out a few gallons of water from my trunk last night and again this morning my car was filling up with water due to the rainy season. This website is not letting me upload files.

My touchscreen has been malfunctioning and turning black or has a white haze across the screen. When the screen does this i am not able to use my backup camera as it does not work when this happens. To me it is a safety issue not having the backup camera as i am usually backing out of a place with blind spots and the camera lets me see what is behind my car and a good distance on the side of my car. The infotainment screen has done this to me twice now, once at the end of June 2023 and just on July 8, 2023. I have had issues with the infotainment center before but heard nothing back about it. I took my car to the dealership and showed them the pictures of what is going on with my screen and they said it may need a new touchscreen, my car is only 4yrs old!! I have had issues with this since the 2nd year i owned it and honestly I think it's a Chevy manufacturing problem.

The issues with the car happen when attempting to go over 40mph. After maybe 10-15min of driving, if attempting to go over 40mph, the car starts making a clinking sound, a lot of exhaust smoke comes out the back and there is a general inability to accelerate without the engine sputtering which even happened at lower speeds once it has already started to happen. The check engine light come on when this occurs. Our safety does seem to be at risk as we cannot seem to keep up with traffic speeds and would likely cause an accident if we remain on the road while the car is exhibiting these conditions. After I told the dealership about how long in driving it takes to recreate the problem, the dealership that currently holds the car(Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview, IL) were able to reproduce the problem. My parents and I went on Feb 16th, 2023 to Napleton Hyundai in Glenview and bought the car used and after 2 days of driving, my parents were having issues with the car and being able to accelerate. At the time it was diagnosed as a catalytic converter and flex pipe problem. Those items were backordered and were not able to be replaced until 2 months after our original complaint. During those 2 months of waiting, my parents were instructed not to take the highway and not to exceed 40mph. Upon getting the car back on April 26th, it took merely 4-5 more days for the problems to come back again. We also found that on Dec 17th, 2022, the previous owner took the car in with the same problems and after getting an estimate, declined service and took the car back Dec 28th, 2022. The vehicle has been looked at by Napleton Hyundai in Glenview, Jennings Chevy in Glenview and prior to our ownership, Anderson Chevy in Chicago. Anytime the vehicle exhibits the above mentioned problems, the check engine light does come on and usually in addition to the issues listed above, the car seems to be low/out of oil. At this time, we are told the cars issue is the turbo.

Ball joint on front drivers side apparently broke...vehicle at a dealership now to determine if the weld is bad or what the issue is. I was simply turning into the driveway when the car came to a sudden stop due to wheel rotating 80*. Tow truck driver stated he had seen this happen with this exact yr and model of Trax. He mentioned a man had his vehicle 1 week and this very same issue had occurred. I did find recalls concerning this make and model however my vehicle did not apply...i would very much like this issue to be investigated to be sure the recall does not need to be amended for additional vehicles. This incident could have been catastrophic if it would have occurred just a few minutes before at regular speed.

I was driving on 95 N and out of the clear blue, my car began to smoke. There was no warning lights on the dashboard that indicated that I needed to check the oil or engine, etc. I pulled over, taking the nearest exit to a gas station.As I turned into the gas station, I heard a loud popping sound. My husband and I looked under the hood and discovered the engine was on fire. My husband and gas station attendant helped get rid of the fire by using a fire extinguisher. My mother and stepdaughter were in the car at the time. While the fire was being extinguished, we ran away from the car and called 911. An auto mechanic discovered the transfer case was broken and thus, empty.

Air conditioning compressor failed, took to a GM dealership service center and was informed that the AC compressor failed at a weld joint, most likely due to an improper weld. This happened during the intense heat wave this summer (Tennessee Summer 2022) and my air conditioning failed, causing incredibly hot climate conditions in the car, which I had no substitute that I could drive during 100 degree weather. Symptoms had occurred previously, beginning as soon as I purchased the vehicle (but did not realize it was a symptom until the unit went out.) I smelled a chemical smell anytime the air conditioner was running and just believed it to be a normal occurrence, as well as any time I went a long distance using the ac, it would stop working. I brought this to a dealership but they were unable to recreate the problem due to the length of time that it took for the problem to occur while driving, so was never completely investigated. The air conditioning completely failed on a long distance drive from Memphis, TN, to Houston, TX.

I WAS TRAVELING IN MY CAR ON THE FREEWAY. TRAFFIC CAME TO A DECELERATION VERY QUICKLY AND SUDDENLY. I WAS ABLE TO SLOW DOWN IN TIME TO AVOID THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME, HOWEVER I WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND. THE DRIVER BEHIND ME MUST HAVE SWERVED ALSO TO TRY TO AVOID HITTING ME DIRECTLY FROM BEHIND. SHE HIT MY REAR DRIVER SIDE. THIS ACTION CAUSED MY CONTROL ARM, STRUT TOWER, ROTOR, WHEEL AND ALL OTHER ASSOCIATED PARTS TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE. THIS ALSO CONSEQUENTIALLY CAUSED THE BRAKE HOSE TO BE RIPPED FROM THE ASSEMBLY RESULTING IN POOR BRAKE PRESSURE. I WAS ABLE TO PULL TO THE SHOULDER WITH HYDRAULIC BRAKES ALONG WITH THE USE OF MY EMERGENCY BRAKE. VERY MINOR INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED FROM THIS INCIDENT, HOWEVER, THE SITUATION COULD HAVE RESULTED IN SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH. TOOK IT HOME NO CHANGE. TOOK IT TO TIRE DISCOUNTERS ON 8-16+2019 . CONFIRMED PULLING TO RIGHT. SAID ALIGNMENT IS GOOD BUT STILL HAS PULL TO RIGHT. TOOK IT TO JERRY HAGGS GM DEALERSHIP. THEY REFUSED TO CHECK IT. ALL THIS TIME THE BACK DOORS DON'T SHUT FLUSH AND THE SEALS LEAK THE ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE DOORS THE CAR IS NOW AT MIKE CASTUCCI GM DEALERSHIP IN MILFORD OHIO IT'S BEEN THERE SINCE 9-5-2019. THEY ARE TRYING TO REPLACE THE BACK DOOR SEALS TO TRY TO FLUSH DOORS WITH THE BODY BUT HASN'T CHECKED FRONT END YET. YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT WITH A CONSTANT TUG. DRIVING IN RAIN IS WORSE . HAVEN'T OWNED CAR LONG ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT SNOW IS LIKE. THE CAR WAS SITTING IN DRIVEWAY DURING A RAIN STORM WHEN DOORS LEAKED. CAR CONSTANTLY DRIFTS RIGHT WHILE DRIVING SPEED LIMIT.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 CHEVROLET TRAX. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V312000 (SUSPENSION). GANLEY CHEVROLET (13865 BROOK PARK RD, BROOK PARK, OH 44142, (216) 586-5804) STATED THAT THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE AND WOULD BE ORDERED IN JULY OF 2019. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY WOULD CALL THE CONTACT BACK, BUT NEVER DID. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HEATING AND COOLING COMPONENTS WOULD NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND IT TOOK AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME TO COOL OR HEAT THE VEHICLE. ALSO, THE ACCESSORIES WOULD NOT CHARGE HER DEVICES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 300.

WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY, MY TRUCK WENT HARD RIGHT WHILE MY STEERING WHEEL WAS IN STRAIGHT POSITION. I ASKED MY PASSENGER DID YOU FEEL THAT . THEY SAID YES .IT WAS VERY SCARY AND HAPPENS VERY SPORADIC.ALSO THE BRAKES SEEM TO BE SOME TIMEY WITH STOPPING EFFICIENTLY, LIKE YOU EITHER STOP TOO QUICK OR NOT FAST ENOUGH. I'M NOT SURE WHY MY VIN HAS NOT APPEARED IN THIS RECALL WHEN CLEARLY MY VEHICLE HAS THE SAME ISSUES AND WITHIN THE MAKE MODEL AND YEAR.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO MIKE ANDERSON CHEVROLET OF CHICAGO (LOCATED AT 5333 W IRVING PARK RD, CHICAGO, IL 60641, (773) 465-2000) WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED TWICE FOR UNKNOWN PARTS ON THE HEATER, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,000.

I PURCHASED A NEW 2019 CHEVY TRAX AFTER TRADING IN MY 2016 TRAX. I HAD BEEN DRIVING IT FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS WHEN MY RADIO, TURN SIGNAL, PHONE CALLS AND ONSTAR (NOT SURE ABOUT BACK UP CAMERA) WAS AFFECTED BY SOME GLITCH. THE SOUND WENT AWAY FROM MY TURN SIGNAL, ALL THE RADIO CHANNELS, NO SOUND BUT COULD RECEIVE PHONE CALLS AND TRIED TO CALL ONSTAR PER SALES REP TO DO A DIAGNOSIS BUT THE CALL COULD NOT BE HEARD. THE ONSTAR CALL COULD NOT BE DISCONNECTED. THE EVENTUAL FIX TO THIS WAS I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THE SALES REP DID A FACTORY RESET IN THE SETTINGS. THIS BROUGHT IT BACK. I HAD A SIMILAR ISSUE IN MY 2016 TRAX THAT BLACKED OUT THE SCREEN COMPLETELY AND TOOK AWAY ANY SOUND FROM IT AND MY SIGNAL. IT EVENTUALLY CAME BACK AFTER A SHOP PLAYED AROUND WITH IT. SECOND ISSUE WHICH FELL UNDER A WARRANTY REPAIR WAS THAT I NOTICED NOT LONG AFTER BUYING THAT THERE WAS A HIGH PITCHED SQUEAL COMING FROM MY DRIVERS SEAT WHEN STOPPING AND HITTING BUMPS. I THOUGHT AT FIRST THE SPRINGS NEEDED BREAKING IN. IT ENDED UP BEING THE BOLT AT THE BACK RIGHT OF THE SEAT THAT ATTACHED IT TO THE FLOOR. COME TO FIND OUT IT WAS CROOKED AND COMPLETELY STRIPPED WHICH WAS CAUSING THE SEAT TO BOUNCE AROUND. IT WAS ALSO FOUND OUT DURING REPAIR THAT A SECOND BOLT WAS STARTING TO DO THE SAME THING. THIS WAS A BRAND NEW VEHICLE STRAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY. I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE DEPT THAT VEHICLES FROM THE FACTORY AREN'T STATE INSPECTED. THIS SEEMS TO BE AN UNSAFE METHOD.

A THICK FILM APPEARS ON THE WINDSHIELD THROUGHOUT THE CAR AS IF SOMEONE WAS SMOKING CIGARETTES OR SOME TYPE OF SUBSTANCE. THIS FILM SHOWS UP ON THE CAR WINDOWS EVERY 3 DAYS IF YOU DON'T WASH THE WINDOWS IT GETS THICKER. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE BACK SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THE CAUSE. ALSO IF YOU DRIVE FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR YOUR EYES WILL START TO BURN AND IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL SLEEPY. THIS IS NOT SAFE. THE DEALER JUST KEEP WASHING THE WINDOWS. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
