2004 FORD CROWN VIC HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. I ORDERED AND REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH AND MY HEADLIGHTS STILL DON'T WORK. I CAN'T DRIVE AT NIGHT ANYMORE. I HAVE CONTACTED FORD DEALERSHIP ABOUT A RECALL AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL BACK.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD CROWN VICTORIA. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V861000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING) HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE RECALL REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE PROPERLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MANUALLY ADJUSTED THE LIGHT SWITCH AND THE HEADLIGHTS OPERATED AS INTENDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 120,000. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.

THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING. THE FUSE WAS GOOD BUT I REPLACED IT ANYWAY. I ALSO REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH.

PARKING LIGHTS COME ON SOMETIMES WHEN THE LIGHT SWITCH IS TURNED ON. HEADLIGHTS WORK FINE, INCLUDING BRIGHTS. PARKING LIGHT SWITCH SETTING CONTROLS ALL OTHER LIGHTS. I WAS TOLD BY MY MECHANIC THAT THE LIGHTING CONTROL MODULE WAS TO FAULT. WHEN THE OTHER LIGHTS (INCLUDES TAIL LIGHTS, TAG LIGHT, FRONT PARKING AND SIDE LIGHTS) DON'T COME ON, IT PRESENTS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A MOVING VIOLATION ON THE ROAD AT NIGHT. OBVIOUSLY, THIS PREVENTS MY DRIVING AT NIGHT. THE LAW HERE STATES THAT YOU GET A TICKET FOR AN UNSAFE VEHICLE, YOU CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR HOME, THE CAR IS PUT IN IMPOUND UNTIL YOU CAN MOVE IT TO REPAIR IT. HEAD LIGHTS WENT OUT WHILE DRIVING. STOPPED, PULLED OVER, DIDN'T WANT TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITHOUT LIGHTS. CHECKED ALL FUSES, ALL SEEMED TO BE OK. FUMBLED WITH THE SWITCH AND WIRES AND CONNECTIONS, AND FOR AWHILE CONTEMPLATED HOW WE WOULD GET OURSELVES, AND THE CAR HOME WITHOUT ANY LIGHTS? STARTED THE CAR BACK UP AND THE LIGHTS WORKED.....RESUMED OUR DRIVE HOME....BUT LIGHTS WENT OUT AGAIN.....DECIDED TO RISK IT AND CONTINUED HOME WITHOUT HEAD LIGHTS. TOOK THE CAR TO A FORD SERVICE STATION THE NEXT WEEK, THEY SAID IT MUST BE THE SWITCH, PUT IN A NEW SWITCH AND SAID IT WAS FIXED.........PICKED IT UP AFTER WORK, AND HEADED FOR HOME, MADE IT A 1/4 MILE BEFORE THEY WENT OUT AGAIN. GOT ON THE INTERNET AND DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS APPARENTLY A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE CROWN VICTORIA AND TO FIX IT, IT TAKES A FORD RE-- DESIGNED LIGHTING CONTROL MODULE...TO THE TUNE OF ABOUT $500.00...FORD OBVIOUSLY KNOWS THIS IS A DESIGN AND SAFETY PROBLEM, WHY AREN'T THEY TAKING CARE OF THE PROBLEM.....BEFORE PEOPLE ARE KILLED???? *TR

I was informed by my mechanic that my steering column shaft needs to be replaced on my 2004 primary vehicle. Ford says they do not have a recall and will not cover the service. I have a recall for THE SAME ISSUE for my (not currently driving) 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor made in the SAME LOCATION (St. Thomas). 2005 Manufacturer Recall Number 13S08, NHTSA Recall Number 13V385000). The recall includes cars originally sold in NH (both of mine) and says: SEVERE CORROSION CAN SEIZE THE LOWER INTERMEDIATE SHAFT WHICH MAY CAUSE THE UPPER INTERMEDIATE SHAFT TO COLLAPSE AND THE STEERING COLUMN LOWER BEARING TO SEPARATE. Safety Risk: IF THE LOWER BEARING SEPARATES, THE VEHICLE MAY EXPERIENCE A LOSS OF STEERING, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. How can Ford say there is no issue when there is an active recall for it on model years 2005-2011? Have there been reported issues/crashes of 2004 cars with this defect? Is there anything I can do to have Ford cover this? Or are they not bothering because there probably aren't many 2004s still on the road? Is it possible to get Ford to provide the manufacturer lot/date codes of the defective steering parts? As my 2004 & 2005 were built in the same location, I would bet my 2004 was built with the same steering part manufacturer lot as my 2005- they probably don't turn out the volume of police Interceptors as commercial cars. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD CROWN VICTORIA. WHILE DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME EXTREMELY STIFF. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE STEERING SHAFT AND STEERING LINKAGE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,000.

LOWER STEERING SHAFT LOOSE RUSTED FRONT END WOBBLES.

VEHICLE BECAME INCREASINGLY HARD TO STEER AT ALL SPEEDS OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL MONTHS. THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD BIND AND BECOME STIFF AT MULTIPLE POSITIONS DURING TURNS, BUT COULD STILL BE STEERED WITH ADDITIONAL EFFORT. DURING LOW SPEED TURNING IT WOULD TAKE AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF EFFORT TO STEER THE VEHICLE. INVESTIGATION AND INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE MULTIPLE UNIVERSAL JOINTS ON THE STEERING LINKAGES IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WERE HEAVILY RUSTED AND CORRODED, RESULTING IN POOR MOVEMENT AND THE STIFF STEERING. LINKAGES WERE CLEANED AND LUBRICATED AND STEERING RETURNED TO NORMAL. DURING REPAIR IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE EXHAUST HEAT SHIELD WAS ALSO HEAVILY CORRODED AND BEGINNING TO SEPARATE FROM THE MOUNTING HARDWARE. IF THE HEAT SHIELD SEPARATES FROM THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD IT WILL INTERFERE WITH THE STEERING LINKAGES. THE HEAT SHIELD WAS REMOVED. I BELIEVE THAT OTHER MODEL YEARS WERE RECALLED FOR BOTH OF THESE ISSUES. ACCORDING TO NHTSA THERE ARE NO RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE.

THE GOOD YEAR EAGLE SPORT TIRES TORE APART ON A SHORT TRIP TO THE GROCERY STORE AND CAUSED THE CAR TO BE UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THE TIRES WERE MANUFACTURED ON JUNE 2019 AND PURCHASED OCTOBER 2019 AND BY JANUARY 3RD OF 2021 THEY WERE FLAT AND CHEWED UP WITH ONLY AROUND 13,000 MILES ON THEM EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE 50,000 MILE TIRES. THIS COMPLAINT IS INVOLVING THE GOODYEAR TIRES THAT WERE ON THE CAR AND THE ONE THAT FAILED AND WAS CHEWED UP DESPITE LOW MILES AND RECENTLY MANUFACTURED/MADE WITHIN THE LAST 19 MONTHS PRIOR TO THIS HAPPENING. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT AFTER THE TIRE WAS DISCOVERED CHEWED UP THE BRAKE SYSTEM WAS IN NEED OF REPAIR AS THE TIRE CAUSED DAMAGE. THE BRAKES WERE NOT RESPONSIVE TO STOPPING AFTER THE TIRE WAS CHEWED UP EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS SOME BRAKING POWER WHEN BRAKE PEDAL WAS PUSHED DOWN TO THE FLOOR, THE BRAKING POWER WAS REDUCED AND THE BRAKE LIGHT ON THE CAR CAME ONE. FORD RECALL FOR CRACKS IN POLICE INTERCEPTOR WHEELS THAT WAS CANCELLED AND REMOVED FROM OASIS DATABASE IF WHEELS ARE NOT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE ANY LONGER. WHEEL IS MARKED WITH THE NUMBERS OF THE DEFECTIVE ONES AND HAS A VISIBLE CRACK AND CREAKS AND WON'T HOLD A BALANCE AND WOBBLES WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AND LOOSES AIR . WHEEL IS UNSAFE IN ANY USAGE AND WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL AT ANY GIVEN POINT IN TIME WEATHER POLICE OR PRIVATE AND SHOULD BE REPLACED BY FORD UNDER RECALL REGARDLESS OF ANY PRIOR NOTES. RECALL WORK WAS STARTED BUT NOT COMPLETED AS ALL WHEELS WERE REPLACED BUT ONE BEFORE BEING SOLD TO ME BY RUSSIA POLICE DEPARTMENT, SINCE THE OTHER WHEELS WERE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE THIS LAST WHEEL IS NO DIFFERENT AND SHOULD BE REPLACED UNDER RECALL AS ITS UNSAFE TO USE. FORD STILL COVERS UNSAFE STEERING LINKAGE AND LIGHT MODULES REGARDLESS OF OWNERSHIP YET REFUSES TO REPLACE AN UNSAFE WHEEL THAT CAN EVENTUALLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND HARM TO THE DRIVER AND ANY OTHER VEHICLE NEARBY AS WELL. A SAFETY DEFECT SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF REGARDLESS OF OWNERSHIP. I WAS ABLE TO DO A SCREEN CAPTURE OF THE RECALL THAT WAS NOT FULLY COMPLETED BEFORE FORD REMOVED IT FROM OASIS AFTER LEARNING IT WAS PRIVATELY OWNED NOW.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD THREE MANUFACTURER RECALLS THAT NEEDED TO BE COMPLETED BY THE DEALER; HOWEVER, THEY WERE NOT COMPLETED WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED SEVERAL TIMES THAT THE WHEEL WELLS HAD A PREMATURE LEAK OF AIR AND THAT THE TIRES HAD TO CONSTANTLY BE REFILLED WITH AIR. THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER INDICATED THAT BECAUSE THE CONTACT WAS NOT A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, THEY WERE NOT REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE RECALL REPAIR FOR ONE OF THE THREE RECALLS. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE DEALER WAS TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIRS FOR THE OTHER TWO RECALLS AND WAS UNCERTAIN OF WHEN THE WHEELS WOULD BE EITHER REPLACED BY THE DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP. THE TIRES HAD NOT YET BEEN REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE MORE THAN TWICE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

RECEIVED A RECALL LETTER FROM FORD REGARDING A 2004 CROWN VICTORY THAT I ACQUIRED 08/09 AS A FORMER POLICE CRUISER. LETTER STATED I HAD TO GET THIS CAR TO A DEALER ASAP AS THIS WAS AN 07 RECALL THAT HAD NOT BEEN COMPLETED. THE LETTER CLEARLY STATES DEFECTIVE WHEELS MUST BE REPLACED OR ONUS IS ON ME FOR ANY FUTURE FAILURES REGARDING THIS RECALL. I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER ON LETTER AND THEY EXPLAINED THAT THE WHEELS (SPECIAL FOR POLICE) HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO DEVELOP CRACKS AND SPLIT OPEN FURTHER AT SOME POINT IN TIME. I ADVISED THAT I WAS A PRIVATE CITIZEN AND CAR WAS NOT A POLICE VEHICLE ANY LONGER & THEY SAID IT MATTERED NOT, AND MUST BE REPLACED. THEY GAVE ME A DEALER NAME & NUMBER WHICH I PROMPTLY CALLED THE NEXT DAY. DEALER HAD LITTLE INFO ON THIS SO I GAVE THEM THE RECALL NUMBER AND EXPLAINED WHAT I WAS TOLD AND WHAT LETTER SAID, DATED OCT '09. DEALER DECLINED TO ORDER PARTS AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR UNDER RECALL SINCE IT WAS NO LONGER IN POLICE USE. I THEN CALLED CS AGAIN AND THEY AGREED THIS TIME WITH DEALER. I ESCALATED TO CUSTOMER RELATIONS WHICH WAS NO HELP WHATSOEVER. I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT FORD HAD CONTACTED ME, THE LETTER DID NOT SAY TO DISREGARD IF NO LONGER USED AS A POLICE VEHICLE, ONLY THAT THIS WAS A HAZARD AND NEEDED TO GET DONE. I ASKED FOR A LETTER OF EXPLANATION AS TO HOW IT WAS SAFE FOR ME TO DRIVE AS A PRIVATE CITIZEN IF IT WAS NOT SAFE FOR POLICE AND THEY REFUSED, BUT DID TELL ME IT "SHOULD" BE OK. THE RECALL NUMBER & DESCRIPTION READS 07S48-16" STEEL WHEEL REPLACEMENT. I CAN FAX A COPY OF LETTER IF YOU REQUIRE, BUT FORD IS ADAMANT IN REFUSAL TO DO ANYTHING AFTER SOUNDING THE ALERT TO ME AND PUTTING ME IN A POTENTIALLY UNSAFE SITUATION, PLUS CLEARLY STATING I AM RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS AND I HAVE IGNORED THE LETTER. *TR

WHILE DRIVING I SUDDENLY FOUND IT VERY HARD TO TURN THE STEERING TO THE RIGHT. USING CONSIDERABLE FORCE I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE TURN - BUT ONLY JUST. INVESTIGATION BY MYSELF LATER SHOWED THAT THE HEAT SHIELD FROM THE DRIVER'S SIDE EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAD FALLEN OFF DUE TO CORROSION AROUND THE TWO 10MM BOLTS THAT HOLD IT ON. IT HAD THEN FALLEN ONTO THE STEERING SHAFT AND MUST HAVE WEDGED AGAINST SOMETHING WHEN I WAS TRYING TO TURN. IT WAS STILL ON TOP OF THE STEERING SHAFT WHEN I OPENED THE HOOD AFTER DRIVING A MILE HOME (VERY CAREFULLY). I HAVE A 2004 CROWN VICTORIA. FORD HAS A RECALL OUT FOR 2003-2005 GRAND MARQUIS AND CROWN VICTORIA'S FOR THEIR LIGHT CONTROL MODULE (LCM) BECAUSE OF SOLDERS BREAKING CAUSING EXTERIOR LIGHTING NOT TO WORK. I TOOK MY CAR TO MY LOCAL FORD DEALERSHIP (APRIL 22, 2017) TO HAVE SUCH RECALL DONE BECAUSE MY EXTERIOR RUNNING LIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING. (PARKING LIGHTS FRONT AND RUNNING LIGHTS REAR) I ALSO ADVISE THE DEALERSHIP OF THIS. WHICH IS DOCUMENTED ON THE RECEIPT I HAVE KEPT. FORD DOESN'T REPLACE THE ACTUAL LCM, ALL THEY DO IS INSTALL A "BYPASS HARNESS" TO BYPASS THE ISSUE WHICH DOES NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE SAME LIGHTS STILL NOT IN WORKING CONDITION. AGAIN, STATED ON RECEIPT. THE PROBLEM FIXED ITSELF AND I ASSUMED IT WENT AWAY. NOW IT'S BACK BUT EVEN WORSE. AGAIN MY EXTERIOR LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING, PARKING AND REAR RUNNING LIGHTS, AND NOW MY INTERIOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING AS WELL. FORD KNOWS ABOUT THIS ISSUE. FORD REFUSES TO REPLACE THE FAULTY LCMS IN THESE CARS. I KNOW OF SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE I'M HAVING WHO HAVE CALLED FORD AND COMPLAINED. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO REAR RUNNING LIGHTS AT NIGHT, PERIOD. WHEN IT'S PARKED, ON ROADWAYS, HIGHWAYS, ETC. NO ONE CAN SEE ME AT NIGHT FROM THE REAR.. BECAUSE OF THE COST CUTTING IN MATERIALS IN THE MANUFACTURING OF THIS HEAT SHIELD OUT OF SHEET METAL AND NOT OUT OF STAINLESS STEEL IT IS THE CAUSE OF THIS ACCIDENT. BEGINNING IN SUMMER 2013, STEERING BECAME NOTICEABLY TIGHTER WHEN MAKING SLOW SPEED TURNS. NOVEMBER 2013 THE VEHICLE WAS BROUGHT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP TO HAVE AN ALIGNMENT DUE TO TIRES CONTINUOUSLY WEARING ON INSIDE WALLS, WHICH I SUSPECT IS DUE TO THE STEEL WHEEL RECALL (NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 07V079000) BUT FORD WILL NOT HONOR IF THE CAR IS IN PRIVATE POSESSION. AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, I WAS ADVISED THE STEERING SHAFT WAS SEVERELY CORRODED. UPON RESEARCH, I DISCOVERED OTHER OWNERS EXPERINCING THE SAME ISSUES. I WAS ADVISED BY FORD THAT THEY SPOKE WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER AT MY DEALERSHIP AND VERIFIED THAT MY CAR IS INDEED HAVING ISSUES THAT ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE RECALL INCLUDED. I WAS TOLD THAT MY CAR WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL AND THAT THEY WOULD KEEP MY INFORMATION ON FILE FOR THEM TO REVIEW IN THE EVENT OF A FUTURE RECALL. I AM HAVING AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC REPLACE THE UPPER AND LOWER SHAFT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE HIGH CHANCE IT COULD BECOME DISENGAGED AND RENDER THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE. I STRONGLY URGE THE NHTSA TO INVESTIGATE THIS AND OTHER CASES OF 2004 CROWN VICTORIA (CVPI) OWNERS WHO COMPLAIN OF BOTH THE STEERING ISSUE AND THE RECALL THAT FORD FAILS TO FIX ON THE STEEL WHEELS. THE VEHICLE IS NO LONGER IN FLEET USE, BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM OF THE DEFECTIVE STEEL WHEELS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FORD. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 FORD CROWN VICTORIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE HEAD LIGHTS FAILED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT A FEW MONTHS LATER, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE STEERING SHAFT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THAT THEY COULD NOT DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE HEADLIGHT FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.

ROUTINELY WHEN DRIVING MY 2004 FORD CROWN VICTORY (USED AS A HACKNEY CARRIAGE) AUTOMOBILE EXHIBITS VIOLENT, POTENTIALLY DEADLY BEHAVIOR. THE LOSES ITS OPERATIONAL ABILITY AND DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE LATEST NEAR-ACCIDENT SITUATION UNFOLDED AS FOLLOWS: WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT A SPEED OF 50 MPH THE AUTOMOBILE JUMPED (SWERVED) FROM THE LEFT LANE TO THE RIGHT LANE WITHOUT ME HAVING MOVED THE STEERING WHEEL. WHEN I RETAINED CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND ATTEMPTED TO SLOW DOWN, THE CAR DID NOT RESPOND, BUT PROCEEDED TO JERK FORWARD AT A DECREASING SPEED AND VIBRATE FEVERISHLY. THE BRAKE PEDAL APPEARED TO BE JAPED HALF-WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE REAR-AXLE BEARINGS PRODUCED A LOT OF NOISE. ON TWO OTHER OCCASIONS (DURING COLD WEATHER) THE ENGINE SHUT-OF WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE CAR. AFTER THE CAR STOPPED, I WAS ABLE TO START THE ENGINE. AFTER, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO JERK VIOLENTLY FORWARD AND BACKWARD. WHEN STEERING THE CAR HOME, THE ANGLE OF AT WHICH I HELD THE STEERING WHEEL, DID NOT CORRESPOND TO THE DIRECTION THAT THE CAR WOULD TRAVEL IN. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED PRE-OWNED WITH 4,000 MILES ON IT AND THESE SEVERE INCIDENTS BEGAN OCCURRING AFTER ANOTHER 2,000 MILES. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN AT THE DEALERSHIP DOZENS OF TIME, EACH TIME THE SERVICE TECHNICIANS SAID THAT THE CAR IS OPERATING AS DESIGNED. TWICE, WARRANTY SERVICE WAS DENIED. THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS 26,000 MILES. FORD IS NO WILLING TO SOLVE THESE POTENTIALLY DEADLY ISSUES. AS A TAXI DRIVER, I AM IN THIS VEHICLE FOR 12 HOURS A DAY CARRYING DOZENS OF PEOPLE EVERY DAY. IF ONE OF THESE TIME I AM UNABLE TO CATCH THESE FAILURES A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT MAY HAPPEN. ALL THESE PROBLEMS LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS CAR AS AN INHERENT MANUFACTURING DEFECT, THAT ITS MANUFACTURER FORD IS NOT RECOGNIZING. THIS FAILURE TO CORRECT THEIR ENGINEERING FAILURE IS VERY SERIOUS AND POTENTIALLY DEADLY. *NM
