TAKATA RECALL - I HAVE TRIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO HAVE THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG RECALL PERFORMED AT AUTONATION FORD, SANFORD, FL. THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THEY HAVE TO ORDER THE PART. I KEEP CHECKING BACK AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THEY STILL HAVE TO ORDER THE PART. MOST TIMES NO ONE ANSWERS THE SERVICE LINE AT AUTONATION FORD. NOW I'M RECEIVING SEVERAL AIRBAG RECALL NOTICES FROM FORD EACH WEEK. I TRIED THEIR 1-866-(XXXX) HELP LINE BUT CAN NEVER GET THROUGH. I TRIED THE CHAT ON THEIR WWW.FORDOWNER.COM WEBSITE BUT CANNOT GET THROUGH. THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING SITUATION, ESPECIALLY SINCE I'M TOLD I SHOULD NOT HAVE SOMEONE SIT IN THE PASSENGER SEAT UNTIL THE RECALL IS PERFORMED. I WANT TO KNOW HOW SOON I CAN GET THIS RECALL PERFORMED ON MY VEHICLE AND STOP BEING HOUNDED BY ALL OF THESE MAILINGS. THERE IS NO WAY TO SEND FORD AN E-MAIL COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS ISSUE. TAKATA RECALL. HAVE CALLED FOR 6 MONTHS TO CLASSIC FORD LINCOLN OF COLUMBIA AND BEEN UNABLE TO GET THE PART SERVICED. CALLED WITH THE FORD CUSTOMER CARE TEAM ON THE LINE AND THEY HUNG UP AND WOULD NOT PICK UP WHEN THE AGENT REDIALED THIS MORNING. SHE INSTEAD CALLED DICK SMITH FORD OF COLUMBIA WHO IS ALSO UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AND SAYS IT'S FIRST COME FIRST SERVER AT THE TOP OF EVERY MONTH. THE FACT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DRIVE THE CAR, BUT ARE UNABLE TO ACTUALLY GET THE ISSUE ADDRESSED IS RIDICULOUS.

As I’m driving the wrench light comes on and keeps coming on after a couple minutes of driving the car and when I talk to everyone or even mustang forms they keep saying the car is going into limp mode and almost causing crashes, every time we scan for codes the car won’t tell us anything you turn the car off and the light goes away for awhile but eventually turns back on.

WAS ON HIGHWAY DOWNSHIFTING FROM 5TH INTO 4TH TO PASS ANOTHER CAR WHICH ABRUPTLY ENTERED MY LANE WHEN CAR WENT INTO 2ND, LOCKED REAR END AND SPUN CAR, CAUSING ME TO CRASH ON SIDE OF ROAD. CAR WAS TOTALED, LUCKILY I WAS UNHARMED DUE TO SIDE AIRBAGS. THIS 4TH TO 2ND GEAR LOCKOUT HAS HAPPENED TO ME NUMEROUS TIMES ALTHOUGH AT SURFACE STREET SPEEDS SO WAS ABLE TO RETAIN CONTROL. WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE, I CHANGED GEARS (MANUAL TRANSMISSION) AND THE CLUTCH FAILED TO ENGAGE PROPERLY AND ENGINE RPM SPIKED DRAMATICALLY. WHEN THE CLUTCH FINALLY ENGAGED I PULLED OVER TO THE RIGHT LANE. THE CAR WILL NOT MAINTAIN SPEED, AND ENGINE RPMS SPIKE CONTINUALLY REGARDLESS OF GEAR/SPEED. THE CAR IS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND THE SITUATION NEARLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT ON THE INTERSTATE. FORD HAS ACKNOWLEDGE THE ISSUE WITH THE FACTORY-INSTALLED CLUTCH ON THE 2007-2009 SHELBY GT500S, BUT HAS REFUSED TO ISSUE A RECALL AND PASSES ON THE REPAIR COST TO CONSUMERS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE GEAR SHIFT SELECTOR INDICATOR WAS FRACTURED, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR THE CONTACT TO KNOW THE GEAR SHIFTER POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE AND NOT COVERED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 28,000.

THE CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY BROKE AT ONE OF THE WELDS WHILE DRIVING STRAIGHT ON A CITY STREET. THE PEDAL LOST TOTAL FUNCTION AND FELL TO THE FLOOR AND I COULDN'T SHIFT GEARS. WHILE STILL IN MOTION, I ATTEMPTED TO PULL THE PEDAL UP USING THE TOP OF MY FOOT. THE PEDAL THEN REVERTED ALL THE WAY UP UNDER THE DASH AND COULD NOT BE REACHED AT ALL. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER AND PARK THE CAR INTO THE NEAREST LOT.

The contact owns a 2008 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while the son was driving approximately 40 MPH and pressing the brake pedal to reduce speed, the engine began to rev and the vehicle continued to accelerate. The driver observed that the accelerator pedal had remained pressed toward the floorboard and reached down to manually lift the pedal to reduce the vehicle's speed. The vehicle then drove into an intersection and crashed into a second vehicle. During the crash, no injuries were reported. A police report was taken at the scene, and the vehicle was towed away. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact indicated that the vehicle was previously repaired after the same failure had occurred. No further information was available. The failure mileage was 95,000.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY WHEN THE GAS PEDAL STUCK AND THE CAR CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. I TRIED TO STOMP ON THE BRAKE SEVERAL TIMES BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. TRIED TO TURN THE KEY, BUT COULDN'T GET IT TO TURN. FINALLY STOMPED REPEATEDLY ON THE GAS PEDAL UNTIL IT RELEASED AND STOPPED ACCELERATING. THERE WAS NOTHING UNDER THE PEDAL CAUSING IT TO HANG. THE FLOOR MAT WAS NOT IN THE WAY. I WAS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD NARROWLY MISSED HAVING AN ACCIDENT. HAVE NOT DRIVEN THE CAR SINCE I GOT IT HOME.

WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY DURING AFTERNOON RUSH HOUR, MY CAR BEGAN TO ACCELERATE AT HIGH RATE (STUCK AT 4000-5000 RPM) CAUSING ME TO SPEED DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH VERY LITTLE ABILITY TO STOP AS I HIT THE BRAKES BUT COULD NOT OVERCOME THE ACCELERATION. THINKING AS QUICKLY AS I COULD, I THREW IT INTO NEUTRAL TO BRING THE CAR TO A CRAWL AND SLOWLY ROLL TO THE NEXT EXIT AND THEN TO A STOP. I WAS LUCKY TO THINK SO QUICKLY BECAUSE OTHERWISE I COULD HAVE RUN INTO THE CARS IN FRONT OF ME AS THE CAR SPED DOWN THE HIGHWAY WITH NO ABILITY TO STOP. I FEAR FOR OTHERS THAT MAY HAVE THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE IF THERE WAS A STOP AHEAD, IT COULD EASILY END IN LOSS OF LIFE. ONCE SAFELY ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, I ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE CAR, ONLY TO HAVE IT ROCCO TONGUE TO REV. AFTER TAKING IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD THAT MY THROTTLE ELECTRONICS HAD MALFUNCTIONED CAUSING THE THROTTLE TO GET STUCK OPEN. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS PROBLEM. FORD'S HANDLING OF IT, WHICH WAS TO SAY THAT THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

AT HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS (DIFFERENT OCCASSIONS) THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD GO ON AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NO LONGER RESPOND TO THE ACCELERATOR. IT WOULD GO INTO "LIMP MODE" AND ONLY PROCEED AT IDLE SPEEDS. HAPPENED SPORATICALLY AT SEVERAL TIMES INCLUDING DANGEROUSLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.

WHILE DRIVING MY FORD MUSTANG GT PREMIUM WITH THE BULLITT PACKAGE AT HIGHWAY SPEED THE HOOD SUDDENLY OPENED AND WAS CAUGHT BY THE SAFETY LATCH. I REPORTED THIS INCIDENT TO JARRETT-GORDON FORD WINTER HAVEN AND THEY ADJUSTED THE HOOD LATCH. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM AND I HAD ANOTHER OCCURRENCE OF THE HOOD OPENING AT HIGHWAY SPEED IN WHICH THE SAFETY LATCH PREVENTED A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I AGAIN TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE SAME DEALER - JARRETT-GORDON FORD WINTER HAVEN AND THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE HOOD LATCH MECHANISM. THIS CORRECTED THE PROBLEM AND NO FURTHER INCIDENTS OCCURRED.

AFTER EXITING THE VEHICLE ON 9/30/14, THE DRIVER'S DOOR REFUSED TO LATCH AFTER ATTEMPTING CLOSING THE DOOR SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN AN ACCIDENT AND THERE IS NO BODY DAMAGE WHATSOEVER. AS THIS INCIDENT HAS NEVER APPEARED BEFORE, I CALLED MY SERVICING DEALERSHIP AND REPORTED THE PROBLEM. THEY INSTRUCTED ME TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THEM SINCE THEY SAID IT WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. AFTER A BRIEF TIME ON HOLD ON THE CALL, THE DEALERSHIP SAID THEY COULD NOT PERFORM THE WORK UNTIL OCTOBER 3, 2014 AND THAT, IN FACT, IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE UNTIL THEN. THEY INSTRUCTED ME TO SLOWLY "PULL" THE DOOR SHUT INSTEAD OF THE NORMAL CLOSING OPERATION. THIS DID, IN FACT, WORK AND THE DOOR REMAINED CLOSED, BUT I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS SOLUTION SINCE, I FELT, THAT EITHER: 1) THE DOOR COULD SWING OPEN AT ANY TIME OR 2) THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN AND I COULD BECOME TRAPPED INSIDE THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE MALFUNCTIONING DOOR OPERATION. I RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP ON OCTOBER 3, 2014 AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT IT SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY BECAUSE OF THE SAFETY ISSUE NATURE. UNFORTUNATELY, THE DEALERSHIP HAS INFORMED ME: 1) THAT THEY CANNOT REPAIR THIS SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE UNTIL 10/10/14 AND 2) THAT THEY WILL NOT PERFORM THE REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. I DID REPORT THIS SAFETY ISSUE TO FORD MOTOR COMPANY THROUGH THEIR CORPORATE HOTLINE FOUND ON THEIR WEBSITE, BUT THEY INSISTED THAT I "WORK THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP." *TR

THERE IS A PIN THAT HOOKS ON TO THE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD AND THE PIN CONNECTS TO CLUTCH PEDAL PIN WEARS OUT AND BREAKS AT THAT WELD WHILE DRIVING CAUSING THE FUNCTION OF FULLY ENGAGING THE CLUTCH TO FAIL THERE FOR THERE IS NO SHIFTING I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE OTHER DAY AND THIS PARTICULAR PART HAS FAILED MAKING IT HARD FOR ME TO GET THE VEHICLE OUT OF GEAR OR INTO ANY GEAR.

THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE EXHAUST PIPE HAS CRACKED AND MUST BE REPLACED AT A COST OF ALMOST $1400. IT SEEMS A PART SO EXPENSIVE SHOULD LAST MORE THAN 75000 MILES, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY WHAT THE CAR HAS ON IT NOW. NO ONE CAN TELL ME WHY IT WOULD HAVE CRACKED, BUT A COUPLE OF MUFFLER SHOPS HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE SEEN MANY FORD CATALYTIC CONVERTERS CRACK FOR NO APPARENT REASON. THIS WOULD SEEM TO BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

2 TIRES WITH SIDEWALL STRESS ISSUES IN A PERIOD OF 10 MONTHS 12,000 MILES I SPOKE TO THE TIRE COMPANY WHO ADVISED ME THAT I "PROBABLY HIT A CURB OR POT HOLE WHICH CAUSED A KNOT ON THE SIDE OF THE TIRE", WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN. I HAD RAPID DEFLATION WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD ON THE FIRST INCIDENT. GOOD LUCK HAD THE TIRE ON THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND LOSE OF CONTROL WAS MINIMAL. THE SECOND, I WAS ABLE TO DETECT EARLY. I HAD TO DISPOSE OF THE FIRST TIRE WHEN I HAD IT REPLACED. I FELT THIS MAY HAVE BEEN "A JUST BY CHANCE" INCIDENT, HOWEVER WHEN THIS OCCURRED TO THE SECOND TIRE, I NOW FEEL OTHERWISE. THE CAR JUST PASSED A SAFETY INSPECTION AT WOODBRIDGE VA MALLOY LINCOLN ON 31 JULY. I BOUGHT THE CAR ON 5 AUGUST AND THE TIRE BLEW OUT ON 24 AUGUST. THANK GOD I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA AND STOPPED RIGHT AWAY, BECAUSE I COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN KILLED ALONG WITH OTHERS IF I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. PIRELLI TIRES HAVE A RECALL ON SOME OF THEIR OTHER STYLE TIRES FOR THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM. ALTHOUGH MY TIRE SIZE 255/35R20 DOES NOT FALL UNDER THE RECALL AT THIS TIME, THEY DEFINITELY POSE A 'LOSS OF LIFE' SAFETY ISSUE, WHICH FORCED ME TO REPLACE ALL 4 TIRES AT A COST OF $807.63. I CALLED PIRELLI TYRE NORTH AMERICA AT 1-800-747-3554 ON 30 SEPTEMBER AT 1PM EST. I EXPLAINED MY ISSUE WITH THE OPERATOR, AND THEN SHE TRANSFERRED TO A PHONE THAT NOBODY ANSWERED. I WAS LEFT ON HOLD FOR WELL OVER 15 MINUTES UNTIL I FINALLY HUNG UP. THE PHONE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ANY KIND OF TONES WHATSOEVER. IT WAS AS IF IT DIDN'T EXIST, BUT I COULD SEE I STILL HAD A CONNECTION. 1. ON SEPTEMBER 1ST, MY TIRE PRESSURE ON MY CAR SUDDENLY WENT DOWN AND I BLEW OUT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. I TOOK IT IN TO THE FORD DEALER THE NEXT DAY AND THEY REPAIRED THE TIRE VALVE STEM FREE OF CHARGE BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS DEFECTIVE. TODAY (09/30/08) I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND MY BACK PASSENGER TIRE WENT FLAT. I TOOK IT IN TO THE FORD DEALER AFTER I CHECKED THE VALVE STEM AND SAW THAT IT WAS CRACKED ALL AROUND THE BASE. I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE PREVIOUS EVENT AND TOLD THEM I WAS SURE IT WAS THE VALVE STEM. THEY CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THEY COULD KNOW BECAUSE I HAD RUN THE TIRE WHILE IT WAS FLAT AND IT WOULD NOT BE WARRANTED. THEY WOULD NOT EVEN CHECK THE VALVE FOR ME. THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 3 DAYS TO GET THE TIRE IN STOCK AND I TOLD THEM I HAVE TO COMMUTE TO WORK AND I COULD NOT DRIVE ON A DOUGHNUT FOR 3 DAYS. THEY SENT ME TO A TIRE DEALER IN TOWN THAT WOULD HAVE THAT SIZE (BUT NOT THE SAME BRAND) TIRE IN STOCK. I WENT THERE AND THEY FIXED IT BUT IT COST ME $172 AND THEY SHOWED ME MY OTHER 2 DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE VALVE STEMS WERE CRACKED AND THE BACK DRIVER'S SIDE VALVE STEM WAS ABOUT TO COME OFF. NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE FORD DEALER AND HOPE THEY REPLACE THEM WITHOUT A FIGHT. 2. THIS HAS OCCURRED 2 TIMES NOW WITH ANOTHER 2 GUARANTEED IF I DO NOT TAKE ACTION NOW. 3. THE FIRST TIRE FORD REPLACED ONLY THE VALVE STEM (AND THEY PUT ONE THAT WAS WAY TOO LONG ON MY TIRE SO NOW IT IS FIXED BUT IT STICKS OUT WHICH I AM SURE IS ANOTHER HAZARD). IT FELT LIKE THE ABS WAS KICKING IN AND CAUSED DRIVER TO DRASTICALLY ADJUST BRAKING AND STEERING BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT YOUR BRAKES WERE FAILING AND YOUR CAR WAS OUT OF CONTROL. THE CAR WAS RETURNED (7-2018). DEALER REPLACED FRONT PADS AND MACHINED ROTORS, BUT THE GRINDING AND PULSATION RETURNED. BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP (8-2018). THEY MACHINED ROTORS AGAIN, BUT PROBLEM RETURNED. BACK TO DEALERSHIP (10-2018). REPLACED ALL PADS AND ROTORS. OK FOR SHORT TIME BUT THE GRINDING RETURNED. CAR WAS PARKED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS. ALL PULSATION, GRINDING, THUNKING, VIBRATIONS AND EXCESSIVE SENSITIVITY TO ROAD CONDITIONS DISAPPEARED. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION, FOUND THE OEM MOTORCRAFT ANTI-RATTLE SHIM HAD DETACHED FROM THE BRAKE PADS AND BEGAN MIGRATING AROUND THE BACK OF THE PAD. LESS THAN 10K MILES AND 7 TOTAL TRIPS TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND I HAD TO THROW ALL THE FORD PARTS OUT AND FIX THE PROBLEM MYSELF. ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO REFUND MY $1K FOR THE ORIGINAL WORK. FORD KNEW PADS WERE DEFECTIVE AND STILL SENT CUSTOMERS OUT THE DOOR WITH FAULTY BRAKES. SEPT 14 2013. 1400 ON US 59S I WAS DRIVING IN THE FAR RIGHT LANE, AND A FUNERAL PRECESSION WAS EXITING RIGHT SO WE SLIGHTLY DECELERATED AND SWITCHED TO THE MIDDLE LANE. AS I ACCELERATED TO ACQUIRE THE HIGHWAY SPEED LIMIT THE GAS PEDAL GOT STUCK; IMMEDIATELY I KNEW THERE WAS A PROBLEM AND TOLD FIANCE TO CALL 911. I BEGAN TO CONTINUOUSLY PRESS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL WITH MY ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT. IT SLOWED THE CAR TO APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH AND IF I TRIED TO LIFT MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL THE CAR WOULD ACCELERATE EVEN MORE. ON THE PHONE WITH 911 --207PM-- WE WERE TRYING TO STOP THE VEHICLE. I MOVED MY CAR TO THE LEFT LANE AND THEN TO THE LEFT SHOULDER LANE. I have a 2008 Ford Mustang with a V-6 engine. Recently I had to jump start it twice in a week's time to get it started and decided to take it to my dealer to have the battery checked. On the way there, I had to stop for a line of line of traffic at a red light. The instant I applied the brakes the engine started racing. I stood on the brakes as hard as I could, but could not bring the car to a complete stop. I got it slowed down to about three MPH, steered it into a parking lot that was next to me, and shoved it into park. I was afraid to drive it, so I called AAA and had it towed to my dealer. I told them how the engine started to race when I applied the brakes, and that I couldn't bring the car to a complete stop. They wrote it up that the engine started running rough when I applied the brakes. That is not what I told them. They made no written reference to the unintended acceleration. This struck me as odd. Their analysis of the vehicle showed that the master cylinder and brake power booster had failed. They told me that sometimes when these components fail they can cause the engine to rev. My engine more than revved, it sounded like it was racing at full throttle. The incident shook me up quite a bit. It also seemed odd to me that two major brake components would fail at the same time. I had gotten new front and read brake pads earlier in the years and no other brake issues were discovered. Though the car has been repaired and seems to be OK, I'm somewhat skittish about driving it. I'm aware that there was a class action law suit filed against Ford in 2013 for 2002-2010 Ford vehicles claiming unintended acceleration. Though the suit was dismissed, I'm worried that the problem still exists. I know for a fact that my foot was fully on the brake pedal, and that the floor mat played no role in this issue. I had no similar issues with the car in the fifteen years prior.

I've already had one accident where a deer ran in front of me and that was due to it being at night on a dark Road. I have tried to fix it but the mechanic says that it is the way the factory made it. I've already spent $2,300 on fixing the car once and would like to know if there's anything I can do as a safety feature

Accident after side swiping cattle guard, flew off the road at 70mph, landing roughly, and bouncing off desert terrain, trying to control crash outcome, realign no brakes, and no way to slow down vehicle, except no acceleration, and turned away from homes and power poles, to eventually slam into a a higher terrain, until complete stop. My repaired airbags didn't deploy, and at that speed, my passenger side wheels were shattered, tires flat, face hit the steering wheel and windshield, my knees hit dashboard, arms bounced off off everything the seat belt couldn't protect me from. Because of airbag failure to deploy, I ended up with 2 fractures, T9 and L1, 6 lose teeth making front teeth unable to use, and 2 cervical discs pushing into spinal column. I have Medicaid for insurance, and they will not do the surgery on my neck, so I have permanent nerve damage to my arms and hands, and the rest of my life to avoid any falls, or sudden injury to these areas so I can exist as a cripple, all because the safety equipment mandated by you, failed or was non existent. I had basic motor insurance coverage and no medical for me. What do you propose I do, with what's left of my car and my body parts, to continue existing in this life? Why have safety regulations when the equipment is knowingly defective, and costly, with no recourse in case something happens, before you as owner, are aware of it. I'm so pissed off to discover I own a vehicle, or paid for vehicle, that tried to kill me.

THIS HAPPENED AGAIN WITH THIS VEHICLE TONITE WITH MY SON DRIVING . HE STATED THE THROTTLE/ACCELERATOR HAD STUCK WIDE OPENWITH THE ACCELERATOR ON THE FLOOR. AS HE WAS UNABLE TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF . THIS SEEMS TO BE A LARGE ISSUE WITYH FORD VEHICLES ONLY TO FIND NO RECALLS BUT WITH ONE MAKE THE ESCAPE. THE VEHICLE IS A DANGER TO PUBLIC SAFETY ABROAD FOR YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THIDS WILL HAPPEN. I WAS IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC AND AM GRATEFUL BY BLOWING THE HORN AND THE ABILITY TO THINK QUICK NO ONE WAS KILLEDB. MY VEHICLE IS BEING TAKEN TO THE FORD DEALER IN THE AM TO COORECT AN ISSUE FORD MOTOR COMPANY NEEDS TOO ADDRESS . AFTER RESEARCHING COMPLAINTS THEREARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS WITH NO RESULTS.

WE WERE SOLD A BRAND NEW 2008 MUSTANG GT500KR (SHELBY) JUNE 15, 2014. THIS CAR WAS KEPT AT THE DEALERSHIP IN THE SHOW ROOM AND NEVER SOLD UNTIL NOW. WE WERE CHARGED A $7 TIRE FEE AT THE TIME OF SALE BUT A FEW WEEKS LATER IT WAS REFUNDED TO US WITH NO EXPLANATION. WE RECENTLY TOOK THE CAR INTO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP FOR A SHIFTING ISSUE WHEN THE TECHNICIAN AND SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD US THE RUBBER ON THE TIRES IS GETTING HARD AND IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE TO DRIVE IT. ON THE EVENING OF JULY 22ND THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW MADE A SHARP METAL AGAINST GLASS SOUND AS THE WINDOW RETRACTED INTO THE DOOR. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACT HEARD A CLICKING NOISE IN THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE AXLE. THE NOISE OCCURS WHILE DRIVING AT LOW SPEEDS AND INCREASES WHEN DRIVING ON INCLINES.
