Fuel filler door upper hinge failed so that door would not seat properly when closed. Because the door was not seated properly, the left side power sliding door interlock did not release, preventing the sliding door from opening fully. I had visited a fast food restaurant in Feb 2025 and ordered some French fries for my[XXX], strapped into his child seat directly behind the driver. He was choking on a fry, starting to turn blue. I quickly stopped and attempted to open the sliding power door, but it would not open fully to allow access to my grandson because the failing fuel door wouldn't release the power door interlock. By the time I ran around to the passenger side to reach him he had nearly passed out, but I reached him in time to extract him from the seat and performed a Heimlich to expel the fry and restore his breathing. Toyota should be forced to extend the extended warranty for the full duration of the court agreement of 10yr, Dec 2025, regardless of purchase date. My request for fuel door replacement in Jul 2025 was refused because Toyota claimed the warranty was only good until 10yr after date of purchase, not to the end of 2025. The warranty period applies to vehicles purchased Dec 2025, so the warranty program still exists, but Toyota National refuses to honor it for my vehicle. The inoperable power door can cause passengers to be trapped from quick exit in case of other emergencies, such as vehicle fire or accident rollover. The contact owns a 2015 Toyota Sienna. While the vehicle was parked, the contact discovered that the fuel lid door hinge had fractured, causing the fuel lid to intermittently fail to open or close as needed. The contact stated that with the fuel lid intermittently inoperative, the rear driver’s side door failed to open when needed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was determined that the fuel lid door and hinge needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 117,000.

Cable that controls sliding door broke. Door now pops open about 1cm, not enough that you notice that it is open and when you drive it slides open more. It also can't be closed with the button and it's not easy to close.

I turned in my Toyota on 7/10/24 for a recall on the sliding doors and was told the vehicle needed tobe taken to the mobility dealer; SacVans Mobility, that modified it, for the repair. SacVans said they wanted a diagnostic fee first before they would decide to fix it or not.

This vehicle is a tire eater. It does not matter what the brand of tire it is- Michelin, Bridgestone, or Yokohama, tires last, at best, 18 months of local soccer mom driving. After five sets of 50K mile, or better rated tires, at $800 to $1200 hundred per set, I think it is time that Toyota owns up to the fact that something is wrong with this model (4x2) vehicle. In my mind thjis is similar to the Toyota airbag situation only on a smaller scale. The manufacturer always has an out, such as, did the customer have the vehicle aligned, have the tire pressure checked, rotate tire on schedule, was it driven off road? My concern is that just about any driver would expect to get 30 to 40 thousand miles of normal driving from a set of premium tires. If the tires wear abnormally quickly while expecting "normal" tire mileage, this puts the driver in danger due to unexpected tire failure and possible tire related accident. This needs some data analysis.

Door to gas tank fill breaking off. Very common problem noted online by several owners of this vehicle. If it does not close properly the engine will not start. As it begins to break at the hinge the door sticks out. I fear it will fall off one day. Dealer acknowledges this is a problem and knows there is no recall for it. I have seen other exact vans that the door has been removed completely.

Due to poor design, air system intakes (eg under front seats) and outlets have not been protected by grilles, allowing intrusion of rodents into air system blower motor and heat box. I had rodent feces in my air filter system and blower motor and dead rodents in my heat box in Oct 2022 and has recurred in Feb 2023. Rodent intrusion in air system presents serious risk of respiratory illness to humans. Rodent infestation in vehicle can also cause startling to driver which presents an additional safety risk. Air system access should be protected by grilles at all inlet and outlet points.

My vehicle had been repaired for the recall involving the power sliding doors. The entire cable assembly was replaced. That repair has now failed and the sliding door is inoperable. The cable snapped and the driver side door will not open. I am afraid that it may open while driving, which caused the recall in the first place. I don't want to drive the vehicle for fear of the other sliding door failing as well. These repairs should last much longer than 5 years, especially something as important as the sliding door, where all the children sit. What a huge safety issue for what is supposed to be a vehicle for hauling children around. Luckily the incident happened in a parking lot.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The vehicle was purchased from a private seller. The contact stated that while registering the vehicle at the local Department of Motor Vehicles, the contact was informed that the odometer mileage was last recorded at 141,000. The contact later purchased a Carfax report, which indicated the past mileage recorded at 287,000. The contact stated that when the vehicle was purchased on November 8, 2025, the odometer was recorded at 98,043. In addition, the mileage recorded on the title was 97,043, and in parentheses, the words “Not Actual” were handwritten.

All interior dome/lights (door side lights, visor mirror lights, all overhead passenger lights, etc) not lighting up at all. Fuse in engine compartment is good. Vehicle has been at auto dealership where originally purchased. Safety concerns are that at night, unable to determine if there has been access by person or if person is actually in vehicle. Vehicle diagnoses was begun on 6/12/2023 and is still in process of issues. Received a call from the service representative on 6/19/2023 that water had accumulated under the fuse box in the engine compartment causing corrosion at the connection of the wire harness to the underside of the fuse box. Initially this caused the the internal lights to fail. There is much more corrosion occurring which will eventually cause a complete electrical failure and possible engine failure/fire. Current recommendation from service manager is to completely replace the wire harness at a cost of $7,000+. Insurance may or may not cover the cost of repair. The insurance adjuster is meeting today with the service manager. In my opinion, this is a serious defect in Toyota Sienna manufacturing, design and materials used.

The contact owns a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start after several attempts. The contact stated that she was quadriplegic and was unable to exit the vehicle because the door lock switch was disengaged but failed to respond. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that she was able to jumpstart the vehicle with assistance. The contact then engaged and disengaged the door lock switch and she was able to exit the vehicle. The contact stated that she notified the modifier of the vehicle, but they said they could not assist with the failure. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000. The VIN was not available.

The vehicle rear sliding door had a recall. I had the recall preformed at Smithtown Toyota. After the correction was done. I continue to have same issues with the drivers side rear sliding door. Where it will not open when pushing the open button on my controls in the front. Or when my child 12 years old attempts to manually open the door. As this does not happen all the times. The dealer says they can not replicate the problem and it is working to manufacture standards. I spoke with Toyota corporate and they are aware of continued problems with the sliding rear doors. the have a customer support group, but I would have to pay for the dealer to inspect the vehicle. I have extended warranty so they said I wouldn't then have to pay. However every time you take it in with a problem they can never replicate the problem. They are not the only dealer with this response. It must be a set line throughout all brands as its always that answer until your warranty expires. When it expires then all of a sudden they can find all problems and fix everything.

When vehicle is in reverse the rear breaks on passenger side start squealing and making a loud noise when applied specially when vehicle has been stopped for while however on occasion it does it every time you back up when applying break.

When I drive this van downhill on a curve not fast slower than 40mph, the antilock brakes engage violently and hard and jerky I do not have my foot on the brake when this happens. I'm not going fast. But the ABS is so violent it causes me to lose control of the steering. It happened 3 times in 24 hours and always in same situation. Only lasts a few seconds. Other Sienna owners have had same issues. 119k miles on the van. Bought it used. Had no idea. Of course dealership can't replicate the problem and won't help us. I'm scared to drive the car.

BRAKE SHAKING/SHUTTER UPON BRAKING DOWN A STEEP HILL. THE 2015 SIENNA AWD HAS 45,000 MILES. THE SIENNA HAS MOSTLY BEEN DRIVEN ON FLAT TO MILD SLOPED INTERSTATE ROADS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE BRAKING. RECENT INSPECTION BY A TIRE SHOP REPORTS 12/32 REMAINING ON BRAKE PADS SHOWING MINIMAL TO NO WEAR. UPON DRIVING DOWN A STEEP ROAD REQUIRING BRAKING TO CONTROL SPEED THERE WAS VIOLENT SHAKING/SHUTTER IN THE FRONT END. THINKING SOMETHING WAS BROKEN, REDUCED THE SPEED AND USED TRANSMISSION TO CONTROL SPEED TO REDUCE BRAKE APPLICATION. THIS RELIEVED THE VIOLENT SHAKING. CHECKING INTERNET THERE IS A TOYOTA TSB FOR THIS PROBLEM REPLACING BRAKE PADS AND ADDITIONAL WORK. THE PROBLEM HAS TO BE REPORTED TO TOYOTA WITHIN THE 36,000 MILE WARRANTY TO HAVE THE PROBLEM FIXED BY TOYOTA. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED BY A SAFETY RECALL WHEN OEM REMAIN ON THE VEHICLE.

JUST HIT 100K MILES ON MY 2015 AWD SIENNA. 1ST SET OF TIRES LASTED 35K MILES WITH RUN FLATS, BUT WAS DOWN TO THE STEEL MESH. NEXT SET WAS KELLEY THAT LASTED 32K WITHOUT RUNFLATS, 3RD SET WAS GOODYEAR THAT LASTED 32K. READY FOR SET NUMBER 4 NOW, SO AVERAGE OF ~32K PER PAIR, EACH OF THEM HAD A 50K MILE WARRANTY MINIMUM. ALL 4 SETS WERE TOE WORN DOWN TO STEEL BELT RADIAL AND HAD BEEN ROTATED PROPERLY.

UNEVEN WEAR TIRES. I BOUGHT A USED TOYOTA SIENNA LAST YEAR JAN OF 2018 WITH BRAND NEW SETS OF TIRE. AFTER 20K MILES, IT WAS DOWN TO 3MM AND HAVE IT REPLACE. I WAS SEARCHING FORUMS AND FOUND OUT THAT EVERYBODY HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME. IT WAS A BAD ENGINEERING OF THE VAN. I DID THE ALIGNMENT AFTER I GOT THE VAN BUT I STILL EXPERIENCED THE UNEVEN WEAR. I ALSO BALANCED THE TIRES EVERY TIME I FEEL MY STEERING WHEEL SHAKING. THERE MUST BE A DEFECT ON THE VAN AS I AM NOT ALONE WITH THIS PROBLEM. TWO OF MY TIRES WAS BALD ON THE OUTER SIDE. MOST PEOPLE THAT OWNS SIENNA SAID THAT EVERY 20K MILES, THEY HAVE TO REPLACE THEIR TIRES AND I AGREE WITH THEM.

RECENTLY OBTAINED ~60K SERVICE AT DEALERSHIP. ADVISED THAT MICHELIN PREMIERE A/S TIRES PURCHASED JUST 15K MILES PREVIOUSLY WERE MEASURED AT 4/32" IN THE FRONT AND 5/32" IN THE REAR AND SHOULD BE REPLACED. SEVERE SCALLOPING OBSERVED ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE TIRES. THE SET OF FOUR TIRES WERE PURCHASED A ONE OF THE LARGE, US, WHOLESALE CLUB STORES. THE TOYOTA SERVICE WRITER STATED THAT MY WIFE THAT SUCH STORES CARRY INFERIOR QUALITY TIRES, THOUGH THEY MAY BE BRANDED AND LABELED THE SAME AS THE MODELS CARRIED BY TOYOTA. I CONTACTED MICHELIN ABOUT THIS CLAIM AND WAS TOLD THAT IT IS FALSE. THE TIRES ON THIS VEHICLE HAVE BEEN ROTATED ROUGHLY EVERY 5000 MILES OR SO DURING SCHEDULE PREPAID MAINTENANCE ON THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS A MECHANICAL ISSUE NOISE FROM THE FRONT END IN MARCH OF 2018, JUST AFTER THE NEW TIRES WERE INSTALLED. TOYOTA REPLACE THE FRONT-RIGHT AXLE SHAFT, WHICH DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. ULTIMATELY, BOTH FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS WERE REPLACED. TOYOTA PERFORMED THE WORK UNDER WARRANTY AND STATED THAT AN ALIGNMENT WAS NOT NECESSARY. IT COULD BE ENTIRELY COINCIDENTAL, OR THE AXLE AND BEARING WORK COULD HAVE EVERY THING TO DO WITH THE EARLY DEMISE OF AN $800 SET OF TIRES. HOWEVER, AFTER MUCH RESEARCH ONLINE, IT SEEMS THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE THE ISSUE WITH A SET OF HIGH QUALITY TIRES LASTING 15 TO 25K MILES, THOUGH WARRANTED FOR MUCH GREATER RANGES IN THE AREA OF 60 TO 70K. IT APPEARS THAT THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH EARLY ABNORMAL TIRE WEAR. TOYOTA IN MOST CASES BLAMES THE DRIVER, OR THE TIRE MANUFACTURER. IT WOULD SEEM CLEAR TO ME THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE VEHICLE. TOYOTA MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING AND/OR REPLACING TIRES AND PERFORMING NECESSARY ALIGNMENT OR SUSPENSION MAINTENANCE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

I HAD A FRONT DAMAGED CAR ACCIDENT IN 2016. I REALIZED THAT NONE OF AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED SINCE I WAS ASKED BY AT FAULT DRIVER'S INSURANCE ATTORNEY. I WAS DRIVING ON A LOCAL ONE WAY ROAD AND A CAR SHOWED UP IN FRONT OF ME ALL OF A SUDDEN. IT WAS CROSSING IN FRONT OF ME AS IGNORING "STOP" SIGN ON HIS SIDE. IT WAS TOO CLOSE TO AVOID AND BRAKE WAS NOT HELPFUL.

THE VEHICLE SUFFERED AN APPARENT MAJOR FRONTAL COLLISION BUT THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY (SEE IMAGES). I AM REPORTING THIS FAILURE FOR YOUR INVESTIGATIVE REFERENCE. I WAS TRAVELING WEST ON RT 202 (BUTLER BLVD) IN JACKSONVILLE, FL. MY SPEED WAS 65MPH AND I WAS IN THE MIDDLE LANE. I WAS DRIVING AND MY SON, CHRISTOPHER, WHO IS DISABLED WAS SITTING IN THE MIDDLE ROW CENTER IN HIS WHEELCHAIR WHICH WAS ANCHORED TO THE FLOOR BY FOUR TIE-DOWNS. A CAR TRYING TO PASS US IN THE OUTSIDE LEFT LANE HIT MY VEHICLE IN THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR AND CAUSED US TO SPIN IN THE ROADWAY. AFTER WE CAME OUT OF THE SPIN WE HIT THE CONCRETE BARRIER DIVIDING THE ROADWAY. MY VEHICLE WAS TOTALED WITH EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO FRONT AND FRAME. MY SON AND I WERE SLIGHTLY INJURED BUT NOT TREATED ON THE SCENE. MY AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY? NOT THE ONES IN THE FRONT OR THE SIDE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY? THIS IS A CONVERSION ACCESSIBLE VEHICLE THAT HAS BEEN ALTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL. I HAVE RE-PURCHASED THE SAME TYPE OF VEHICLE AND I WANT TO BE SURE THAT THE AIRBAGS ARE WORKING? TOYOTA HAS ALREADY PULLED THE "BLACK BOX" AND STARTED THEIR INVESTIGATION. I JUST WANT TO BE SURE THAT I GET THE "TRUE" CAUSE OF WHY THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY?

My engine caught on fire. We had seconds to get out prior to it engulfing in flames. Fire department had to extinguish. Not sure what caused it. The entire vehicle caught on fire. There was an engine light warning I had the vehicle repaired but the warning light was not cleared

The intake valve became burnt/stuck, causing my car to lose all compression on cylinder 3. The CEL came on, flashing, and the car immediately started driving rough and not accelerating. I had the vehicle brought to 2 different auto shops that confirmed the issue. My and my childrens' safety were at risk as soon as we tried to turn right onto a high speed road and my car started the flashing CEL and would not accelerate. There was no warning before this incident.

The contact owns a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated while starting the vehicle he noticed that the vehicle was shuddering and shaking uncontrollably. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle however, the failure persisted. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure was due to low cylinder pressure on cylinder #6. The mechanic was not able to do the repair on the vehicle, so the contact took the vehicle to the local dealer who diagnosed and confirmed the failure as a misfire and low-pressure cylinder #6 and that the spark plug was damaged. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The dealer recommended that the engine be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 87,000.

HAD AN ENGINE OIL LEAK ON 2015 TOYOTA SIENNA. TOYOTA DEAL DIAGNOSED AND REPLACED TIMING COVER GASKET. DEALER SAYS "ALL THE SIENNA'S DO THAT" BECAUSE IT'S SUCH A LONG BELT - IN FACT HE REPLACED THE BELT AND THE REPLACEMENT DOES THE SAME THING. THIS SEEMS LIKE A SAFETY HAZARD SINCE IN THE CASE OF A WRECK I WORRY THAT THE SEAT BELT MAY NOT RETRACT CORRECTLY TO RESTRAIN THE OCCUPANT, OR EVEN IF IT RETRACTS IT MAY NOT BE POSITIONED CORRECTLY. There is an EVAP emission leak and the P0456 error states the gas cap is faulty. I had it replaced and replaced again. So I am waiting for another brand new gas cap-3rd brand new one. So 4th overall for this van. A smoke test was done and there is no leaks per the test. So if this continues after the brand new gas cap, then there should be a recall as the gas cap is an issue. Started to happen after 95,000 miles. The AWD is shut off and goes to 2 wheel drive, traction control is turned off, Check Engine light comes on and Message Check AWD system comes up on the screen. Any recommendations

FUEL TANK ACCESS DOOR HINGE IS BROKEN. CAN'T FILL GAS TANK UP. IF FUEL DOOR IS REMOVED SLIDING DOOR WON'T OPEN. FUEL DOOR HINGE BROKE BECAUSE THE FUEL DOOR PIN HAS SO MUCH TENSION THAT IT BROKE THE HINGE. THIS CAUSED A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE DOOR CANNOT BE OPENED FROM THE INSIDE IF IT IS NOT CLOSED ALL THEY WAY OR PUSHED CLOSED ENOUGH FOR THE SENSOR TO ALLOW THE SLIDING DOOR TO OPEN. THIS EVENT WAS REPORTED PAST THE 36 MONTH WARRANTY, (AT 40 MONTHS, BUT LESS THAN THE MILEAGE WARRANTY), BUT HAD BEGUN BEFORE THE WARRANTY HAD ENDED. CURRENT OWNERS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT IF THERE ARE INSTANCES BEGINNING OF THE DOOR NOT BEING ABLE TO BE OPENED, SHOULD CHECK THE HINGE AND PIN TENSION AND HAVE IT FIXED WHILE IT COULD BE UNDER WARRANTY. My husband parked our minivan and came in to pick up the kids. While he was inside the library, the van went out of park and hit a fire truck in the parking lot. It seems this has been an issue with Toyota siennas in the past but I do not see it reported yet for its year 2015. Our van had damage to the front fender, hood, and surrounding area and needed repair. We obviously didn’t have any idea this was possible nor noticed anything since purchasing this van recently. I have read online that a Toyota sienna cannot be turned off without being in park. Since my husband was not in the vehicle when it crashed in the parking lot, it is clearly a defect of the vehicle.

The slide door latch stopped working. The sliding door doesn't latch properly and I have to manually close the door and lock it to know it's secure. If it's not locked a slight push will cause it to pop open. My mechanic said there is a recall associated with the replacement part. I can't find the recall. However, I did find a related TSB (TSB-0244-17).

We got into an accident today, and none of the sliding doors would not slide open. It would not even allow us to pull the doors opens. The vehicles electrical was damaged, but that should not prevent the other doors from opening. This is a very bad situation if someone is needing to evacuate the vehicle. The rear passengers would be trapped. Please address this issue with Toyota asap. People who usually have Vans have big families and small children. This would be a very bad situation if vehicle needed to be evacuated asap. The rear passengers would be stuck.

THEY RECOMMEND TO REPLACE THE INTERMEDIATE SHAFT AND QUOTE ME ALMOST $800 FOR IT FOR PARTS AND LABOR. I DECLINED. I AM SURPRISED THIS IS HAPPEN TO TOYOTA, THE REASON I BOUGHT TOYOTA IS BECAUSE ITS RELIABILITY. IF I KNOW THINGS GOING TO BREAK JUST AFTER THE WARRANTY IS OVER, I WON'T BUY TOYOTA. THE DISPLAY IS SO DARK THAT IT CANNOT BE RELIABLY READ. WITH SUNGLASSES, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ THE SPEEDOMETER. NOTE, THIS IS AN ANALOG SPEEDOMETER, AND THIS MODEL DOES NOT HAVE AN ADDITIONAL DIGITAL SPEED DISPLAY. AN INTERNET SEARCH INDICATES THAT THIS PROBLEM IS UNIVERSAL FOR THIS MODEL/YEAR (NOT A DEFECT IN MY VEHICLE). IT CREATES A HAZARD BECAUSE ONE CANNOT EASILY DETERMINE SPEED. I was at a stop light when I slowly started to lift my foot from the brake pedal. The engine started revving up and accelerate. I pressed the brake pedal normal , then harder when it would not stop revving. I looked down to see if I was hitting the gas pedal by accident. I was not, about after 5 seconds it stop revving. I went about a foot and nobody was in front of me. I going to have it checked out by my dealer. This happened before and I thought it was driver error .When I thought I was hitting the gas pedal and brake pedal. I searched for incidents like mine, but could not find something exactly just similar. I did not look at the dashboard so i do not know if there was a message . So I'm reporting this incident to get answers and alert others of this issue.

We recently had two Dunlop P 235 / 50 R 19 tires fail on our car. On 11/5/21, the front passenger-side tire tread and belt began to unravel while driving at freeway speed. This happened suddenly, with no warning lights, and we became aware of the problem when we heard a loud thumping noise from the unraveled tire striking the underside of the vehicle. We immediately exited the freeway, found a tire shop, and had the tire replaced. The following week, I inspected the other tires and found that the front drive-side tire was failing in exactly the same way. We immediately had that one replaced too. Neither tire shop that replaced the tires could identify a cause of the tire failures other than possible defects in the tires.

We purchased Nokian WrG3 225/60 R18 tires as replacements for the original tires, because we wanted all weather capability. They were installed in November of 2016. One tire subsequently was damaged due to road hazard; was replaced with same Nokian tire. In August, 2021, the tires needed balancing. The dealer (same place we bought them) could not balance them because three of the tires had belt separation. I did not check tire serial number, but assume them to be the original three we purchased new. We are awaiting Nokian's response, as the tires are warranted five years from installation. It is unusual three tires would all suffer belt separation, all made at the same time. Logic would say it is a manufacturing defect.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000.

WHEN I GET INTO THE SIENNA IN A PARKING SPOT (STATIONERY) AND TWIST THE KEY IN THE IGNITION THE VEHICLE STARTS BUT THE ELECTRONIC STEERING DOES NOT WORK. THIS HAPPENS INTERMITTANTLY. I HAVE TO SIT THERE AND LET THE VEHICLE RUN FOR AWHILE BEFORE THE STEERING KICKS IN. THE STEERING WHEEL IS BASICALLY LOCKED AND DIFFICULT TO TURN. I have had this car for 7 years. Started having issues a year ago and despite bringing it to Toyota 2x, they cannot tell me what the issue is. I will be driving on a regular flat paved road when the car will suddenly brake and pull me towards the side of the road. I get the ABS code sometimes and also the slip indicator light. I've explained this each x I've brought it in and they have told me it's due to me "driving too fast" or "accidentally having my foot on the brake." LOL I am a typical soccer mom and drive conservatively and don't brake when I don't have to. It will do it on curving roads as well as straight roads. When this happens, it is terrifying! I have gone to different mechanics as well and no one can determine this issue. I've replaced the ABS sensors on this and am still having this issue. I don't know what else to do, as this is unsafe and unsafe to the extent that I no longer allow my 17 year old to drive it. Please help!!!!!!!!

Water intrusion from front sunroof when vehicle is parked at a 5% grade with the nose downward. Multiple vehicles exhibit this issue. Toyota is not creating any TSB and will mot even remedy it even if we have an extended warranty. Here is a link to the discussion thread: [XXX] I have not posted on this thread but I have the exact same issue for years. Toyota dealerships want me to first pay $1000 in labor to pull down the headliner and test. Then ask the warranty to cover the assembly, if they don't cover it... then I am on the hook for the work. The missing seam sealer is a common issue that will not manifest inside the 3yr / 36k mile warranty. My issue started around 2020 that I noticed and every dealership would not help me other than place a large burden on me. This can impact the electrical and the airbag curtains. The issue needs to have a seal sealer added to the sunroof assembly as the fix. As a family vehicle, this is a dangerous issue for multiple occupants in a single 7 or 8 person hauler minivan. Please ask Toyota remedy this issue that has been going on for over a decade. Please ask them to stop forcing customers to have sunroofs and panoroofs... when they can't build it correctly. I bought this carseat in March and began using it August 2nd for my infant who was born July 31st. The straps have slowly become an issue. We try so hard to tighten the straps but to no avail. This puts my child at risk if we were to get in accident as he is not secure and the straps are still loose. I did reach out to graco who informed me I had to do a warranty claim. I am not sure yet if thet plan to do anything in regaurds to this issue.

The contact called on behalf of his mother who owns a 2015 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated while his mother was driving 15 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond, causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of another occupied vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. Both the contact's mother and the other driver received assistance from emergency units. The contact's mother sought medical assistance and was informed that she had sustained soreness in the neck muscle. The contact was unsure whether the other driver sustained any injuries. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot. The vehicle was then towed to an autobody shop but was not repaired. The vehicle was then towed to the residence. A police report was filed. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 93,955.

On a warm day after driving the van about 15 minutes then stop for 15 minutes or more. It is taking longer than usual to crank the van. I have search around online. It seems like a common problem Sienna's fuel pump. People on "SiennaChat - https://www.siennachat.com/threads/engine-starts-great-cold-or-hot-long-crank-when-warm.59549/page-2 " website is talking about it. My concern is that one day it could stall while driving on the highway. Since, it is fuel related issues. Without fuel supply engine will halt.

I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna LE that I purchased new from the dealer. The original Michelin tires had excessive wear after less than 2yrs and ~28K miles. I replaced these with Continental tires(rated for 70K miles) and after 2years and at ~63K on the vehicle miles I had to replace those with General Altimax (rated for 75K miles). Each time tires were replaced it received and alignment. I now need to replace the third set of tires at ~88k for set number four. Additionally I had to replace the Rank and Pinion (Complete unit), both tie rods and both suspension control arms and ball joint assembly and a wheel alignment. Can is adult driven mostly in town but has one long road trip on it (6K miles). This will be the fourth set of tires on a vehicle with less than 100K miles along with 5-6 alignments. All tires have been maintained and rotated. This has to be a vehicle defect as I have multiple tire manufactures, all rated for more than double the tire life I'm getting. I have $2000 in tires so far (not counting the originals) $1250 in replacing the front end components noted and now have to spend another $1k on tires.

REPLACEMENT MICHELIN PREMIER LTX TIRES ARE SHOT IN 20,000 MILES. BOTH OF THESE MICHELIN TIRES WERE SUPPOSED TO LAST 60,000 MILES EACH. NEVER ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, I AM THE ONLY DRIVER, BUT I JUST SPENT CLOSE TO $800 AT AN ALIGNMENT SHOP GETTING CAMBER KITS AND SHIMS INSTALLED AND ONE NEW FRONT STRUT ALL TRYING TO GET THE VEHICLE ALIGNMENT INTO FACTORY SPECS. AGAIN, NEVER ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE AND ALL TIRES WORE OUT RELATIVELY EVENLY, JUST WAY TOO PREMATURELY. FIRST PROBLEM IN MY OPINION IS THAT ALL VEHICLES SHOULD HAVE ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT ABILITY BUILT IN, THERE SHOULD NOT BE NEED FOR CAMBER BOLT KITS AND SHIMS FOR THE REAR AXLE. I HAVE A BRAND NEW TOYOTA SIENNA AND THE TIRES SEEM TO START SHOWING SIGN OF WEARING OFF IN 6 MONTHS, AS IF IT HAS ALIGNMENT ISSUES OR SOMETHING. THE CAR DOES NOT PULL TO ONE SIDE OR ANYTHING. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME THAT IT COULD BE THE TIRE PRESSURE THAT NEEDS TO BE KEPT UP AND THEY SAID THAT THE TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE IF THE PRESSURE IS GOOD? ALSO THEY TOLD ME THAT THE TIRES THESE DAYS ARE SOFTER SO THEY DON'T LAST AS LONG? THIS ALL SEEMS A LITTLE HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE. OEM TIRE WARRANTY UP TO 60K BUT NOT LAST LONG . JUST CHANGE NEW SETS OF TIRE WITH ALIGNMENT . TOYOTA ENGINEERING NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE

WE BOUGHT OUR 2015 TOYOTA SIENNA LE ALL-WHEEL DRIVE IN FEBRUARY 2015. AT 16,000 MILES, WE TOOK IT IN FOR MAINTENANCE BECAUSE IT WAS SHAKING DURING BRAKING. WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE ROTORS WERE WARPED AND NEEDING REPLACED. THEY WERE REPLACED. AT 22,000 MILES, THE WHEEL INFLATION SIGNAL KEEPS COMING ON EVERY OTHER DAY AFTER REFILLING AIR INTO ALL TIRES; WE INSPECTED THE TIRES AND FOUND THAT THE TWO REAR TIRES WERE VERY WORN ON THE INNER SIDE OF THE TIRES. WE TOOK IT TO SHEEHY TOYOTA OF FREDERICKSBURG AGAIN FOR MAINTENANCE. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT NEEDED ALIGNMENT AND 4 NEW TIRES. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT THE TIRES WOULD NOT BE COVERED BECAUSE FACTORY TIRES FROM DEALERSHIPS WERE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. BUT THE MAIN CONCERN IS THAT, AT JUST 22,000, THERE'S ALREADY ROTOR ISSUES AND ALIGNMENT ISSUES FROM JUST NORMAL DRIVING. NEVER DROVE IN GRAVEL OR ROUGH ROADS. I BELIEVE THERE'S AN ISSUE WITH THE 2015 SIENNA LINE OF VANS, REGARDS TO BRAKE ROTORS AND ALIGNMENT PROBLEMS. IT'S A BIG SAFTEY CONCERN FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. AND IT'S DISAPPOINTING TO HEAR THAT TOYOTA WILL NOT COVER ALIGNMENT ISSUES, THOUGH THE VEHICLE IS STILL SO NEW. IT COULD HAVE BEEN TRAGIC IF WE DIDN'T CATCH THE WORN TIRES THIS SOON. FOR THE RECORD, WE HAD NEVER MISSED AN OIL CHANGE OR SCHEDULED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE.

HAPPENS COMPLETELY RANDOMLY) CRUISE CONTROL LEVER LIGHT FLICKERING. IT WAS REPLACED THREE TIMES NOW. IT WAS JUST REPLACED THE THIRD TIME RECENTLY, SO I'LL SEE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. - (NO SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OR DRIVING STYLES. HAPPENS COMPLETELY RANDOMLY) DASH RANDOMLY FREEZES FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN RESETS TO THE DEFAULT SETTINGS (IT HAS HAPPENED SEVEN TIMES AND CONTINUING) AND TOYOTA STILL CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. - (WHILE DRIVING ON A CLEAR DAY ON A CITY STREET) CLIMATE CONTROL SHUT OFF COMPLETELY BY ITSELF WITHOUT TOUCHING ANY BUTTONS WHILE DRIVING. I STOPPED AT A GAS STATION AND WAS PARKED WITH THE CAR ON, AND I REACHED UNDER MY FRONT PASSENGER SEAT (MANUAL SEAT) AND RECEIVED A 20 AMP SHOCK FROM ONE OF THE WIRES UNDER THE SEAT. RESULTING IN MY DISLOCATING MY SHOULDER FROM THE MUSCLE SPASMS. TAKING IT INTO DEALERSHIP TOMORROW MORNING BUT AFTER TALKING WITH THEM THEY DONT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED IT.

2015 TOYOTA SIENNA LIMITED DEFECTIVE BRAKE SYSTEM DESIGN. THE CONSUMER STATED TOYOTA HAS DONE NOTHING TO FIX THE INAUDIBLE TURN INDICATOR. THE CONSUMER STATED THE ISSUE WAS WHETHER OR NOT THE BRAKING SYSTEM COULD SUPPORT TOWING AN ADDITIONAL 3500 POUND LOAD AS ADVERTISED. BASED ON HIS EXPERIENCE OF HAVING WARPED FRONT ROTORS THAT REQUIRED REPLACEMENT AT 19,242 MILES, THERE WAS A SERIOUS FRONT AND REAR BRAKE DESIGN FLAW. UPDATED 04/14/2017*JS *JS

WHEN PULLING INTO A PARKING SPACE, THE CARE REVED AND LUNGED FORWARD, APPROXIMATELY 5 FEET WHILE THE FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE. HAPPENED TWICE, WHEN TURNING RIGHT INTO PARKING SPACE. CALLED DEALER ABOUT INCIDENT AND THEN TOOK VAN INTO DEALER NEXT DAY. THEY CONTACT TOYOTA (CASE #152470163). TOYOTA INFORMED DEALER THAT THIS WAS NOT THAT UNCOMMON WITH SIENNA VANS. IF SOMEONE HAD BEEN IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE FIRST INCIDENT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN INJURED. IF I HAD BEEN PARKING IN MY GARAGE I WOULD HAVE DAMAGED THE HOUSE. TOYOTA INDICATE THERE WAS NOT A REPAIR AND THAT ONE WAS NOT NEEDED AND TOLD DEALER TO RELEASE THE VEHICLE TO CUSTOMER (QUOTE). THE DEALER THOUGHT IT WAS THE COMPUTER AND THAT IT REVED THE MOTOR AUTOMATICALLY DUE TO USING AC. WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY A COMPUTER CAN NOT BE PROGRAMMED TO MAKE SURE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN - WE NO LONGER FEEL SAFE IN THE VEHICLE.
