The contact owns 2016 Victory Vegas Motorcycle. The contact stated while riding 60-70 MPH, the motorcycle downshifted to 4th gear independently. Several warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle then shifted back to 5th gear independently. The contact was able to continue riding. The motorcycle was taken to an independent mechanic where the clutch plate was replaced on two different occasions; however, the failure recurred increasingly while riding. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The motorcycle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.
