There was a constant burning smell off and on over the last year coming from under the hood. Some days it was stronger than others. Engine compartment was hot when hood was opened. Would the engine catch fire? The coolant level would drop/leak randomly causing car to sputter or vibrate while sitting at traffic lights, etc... Traffic behind me was ready to move, but my car wasn't moving at the normal rate. It wasn't safe. Warning lights would come on, but not always. Sometimes it would throw a code and sometimes it wouldn't. For the first several months, we didn't know what exactly was going on with the vehicle. Unfortunately these cars are still being sold with this problem. We bought one of them from a dealership and got stuck paying for a new engine. Clearly, someone ditched this car before the engine replacement became their problem. We aren't the only ones out there. Contacted Ford dealership for remedy or help with no luck. We went to our local mechanic for help and they gave a quote for engine replacement that was reasonable. Was told engine needed to be replaced for $6,500. Since, we had recently bought the car, we went ahead with replacement but were sick about it.

Had a misfire when starting the vehicle so took it to a mechanic. There is a coolant leak in the engine block which appears to be a major problem with this year and make. Can cause engine failure and other problems.

Recently my Check Engine Light came on and I had the vehicle diagnosed with a local repair shop. The code P0301:00-EC was pulled from the vehicles scan. Upon further research this code is linked to TSA 19-2208 issued 06/27/2019. Ford knew that the engine design was flawed and only issued a TSA bulletin. This issue could cause catastrophic engine failure and fire. This issue is not a maintenance issue but a serious flaw from the manufacturer. There is also a class action lawsuit, Miller, et al. vs. Ford Motor Company - Case No: [XXX] filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. I am hoping that you will take interest in this, as there are probably many 2nd or 3rd owners of these vehicles that are unaware of the severity of the engine flaw. My vehicle has been at the Robinson Ford in Baton Rouge LA since 06/17/2025, and the cost of the new engine is 9600.00. I'm thankful that driving the vehicle from NC to LA no incidents occurred and I was able to have the issue diagnosed before there was. My ford edge has a 2.0 ecoboost engine 2015 model year they are known for having head gasket problems It just occurred to me at 115 thousand miles ford knew for the problem early on and kept building the same engine all the way up until 2019 model year There should be a head gasket replacement recall at least, so many people with so many head gasket problems the internet is full of reports

*The weatherstripping on the Ford edge has been an ongoing issue since new and there should be a formal recall. The noise from the freeway is extensive and the weatherstripping needs constant attention. *If you search ford edge weather stripping issues, there's a gazillion forums with people with the same issues. This needs to be a formal recall so that I don't have to keep replacing or adjusting my weather stripping or having it hang loose driving down the freeways.

Upon exiting the vehicle the car began to roll down a hill/mountainside with my children still in the vehicle. The car hit a large tree stopping it from rolling all the way down the hill. The open recall on this car was not disclosed upon purchased from used dealer in 2024.

The contact called on behalf of the dealer who owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact who is a Safety Emission Inspector for the dealer stated that the flex plate had fractured. The owner of the dealer was stopped at a traffic light when the engine seized, and the vehicle failed to move. After several attempts, the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed and determined that the flex plate was fractured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer and had not been driven since the failure. The failure mileage was 136,064.

- Breaks did not work and caused me to be in an accident. Date of accident 8/15. -called Ford the week prior to accident to ask if there was a recall because my break light came on. She told me there was not and they didn’t have the part in stock to repair it if it was. I told her I would try to add fluid and that seemed to work and the light turned off, unless I used my parking break. So I only parked on flat areas until it was ready to be fixed and didn’t use the parking break, but that time never came. After that, I got into the accident on 8/15 and even reported to my insurance (Kemper auto) that my car wouldn’t break even though I was far back enough to break without incident but the car just wouldn’t stop. My right tire is bent and my left tire is popped so now I’m unable to drive it to the dealer if the part comes in.

Brake line has ruptured causing brakes to fail while driving for the second time in 2 years. I was almost killed in both of these incidents as it happened suddenly while on the road. The first one was fixed under a recall but it has happened again with no support from ford. this is dangerous and should be looked into.

Brake hose failure causing loss of braking ability. Confirmed by independent service center that brake hose ruptured and required repaired. No warning lamps or messages. Braking required holding pedal all the way to the floor. Occurred today, 04/02/2025.

As I was leaving a parking deck and heading toward the exit gate, I applied the brakes, but the pedal went all the way to the floor. I had to pump the brakes repeatedly to stop. After driving a short distance, the problem persisted, so I parked my car and left it overnight. The next morning when getting the car, I noticed a wet spot near the rear driver-side tire. Upon checking, I found that the brake fluid reservoir was empty, so I refilled it with brake fluid. The vehicle has since been repaired by an independent mechanic and was not inspected by a Ford representative or anyone else besides the mechanic. I don’t recall seeing any warning notifications during the incident but the inspection report indicates a brake code error.

The panoramic sun roof has cracked suddenly due to stress. There was no damage or fracture due to an impact from a rock or other outside projectile. The glass roof has simply begun to fail due to stress. I am having this issue repaired next week, but I have taken pictures for documentation. I was able to find forums online where numerous people have complained about this issue with what appears to be years 2015-2017 Ford Edges.

At interstate highway speed and without warning, front panel of panoramic sunroof (Vista Roof) shattered, throwing shards of glass upward, rearward, and down into the sunshade. The closed cloth constructed sunshade was the only thing that prevented a barrage of glass fragments from injuring passengers in our vehicle, as the pieces remaining on the top of the sunshade were numerous. There was no warning for this, nor environmental cause that we could see. Incident happened on a rural stretch of highway, so other cars were not impacted. In a more densely traveled area and if the sunshade were open, this could have caused injury. Vehicle is being repaired by a dealer-group-affiliated body shop. Two of the manufacturer's dealerships were consulted and denied this being experienced before. They indicated this was not a repair covered by warranty or extended service contract and referred us to glass or body repair shops for advice and repair. The contact stated the driver of the vehicle suffered eye irritation for approximately two weeks following the incident before consulting a physician. Physician referred patient to an eye specialist who examined the eye and removed what was described as a clear piece of debris.

(First incident) Went to replace wiper blades as they were chattering. Lifted driver side arm and wiper blade fell right off without any intervention. (Second incident) Installed Bosch Icon wiper blades as they were supposed to be the best on the market. My wife was driving home at the start of the blizzard 12/21/2022 in Iowa and once again, the driver’s side wiper blade fell off while in use. Extremely dangerous situation for her and everyone else she met on the highway.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving 40 MPH, there was an abnormal banging sound coming from the driver's side roof panel. The contact continued driving. The contact stated that while driving on another occasion, the sound became louder. Upon arriving at the destination, the contact inspected the vehicle. The contact noticed that the driver's side roof panel and the front roof panel that was connected to the windshield had detached. The contact applied tape to the roof panels. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was inspected and the dealer re-applied tape to the roof panels. The dealer referred the contact to an autobody repair shop for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 145,000.

Ford edge as far as I’m aware, have many complaints with a cracked rear taillight which builds up with water and condensation. My 2015 Ford Edge SEL has had this problem. I was told by an auto body repair shop many customers encounter this problem, it is a manufacturer defect and ford won’t hold responsibility and announce this as a recall.

IN TALKING WITH A FORD BODY REPAIR PERSON; HE SEEMS TO FEEL THE CAR DOOR WAS REPAIRED AND/OR PARTIALLY REPAIRED. AND NOW RUSTING AGAIN! and cause in your description. am writing to formally report a recurring and dangerous issue with my 2015 Ford Edge, which is currently driven by my 16-year-old daughter. Despite reporting this problem multiple times, it remains unresolved and poses a serious safety risk. The backup camera activates while driving at high speeds, distracting the driver and creating a hazardous situation. The steering becomes unusually tight, making it difficult to maneuver the vehicle safely, especially during lane changes or emergency corrections. These issues are not only persistent but occur while the vehicle is in motion at highway speeds, significantly increasing the risk of an accident. I have video documentation of the backup camera activating while driving, which I am willing to provide upon request.

While driving, my vehicle will lose power steering briefly. This makes the car extremely difficult to steer and has almost caused accidents repeatedly. Warning messages related to power steering assist and hill start assist appear on the screen. This happens at various points when driving: when I am turning, driving straight, pulling into parking spaces, backing up, etc. This is a reoccurring issue and has happened multiple times. There is a recall for 2015 Ford Edge describing the exact issues I am having with my vehicle. It is related to the corrosion of bolts holding the electric power steering gear motor. For some reason, my vehicle does not qualify for this, even though I live in West Virginia, one of the states listed in the recall. I have taken the vehicle to multiple Ford dealerships and have been repeatedly told that I would need to completely repair my power steering rack, but I suspect this may be related to the above recall.

The 2015 Ford Edge and similar models are notorious for flex plate cracking, which Is an absolute hazard to anyone driving it. These things can crack or shatter spontaneously, causing the engine to stop running, even mid-drive. This issue is known, yet the NHTSA hasnt deemed this as a true recall, so Ford isnt covering replacement of this part. PLEASE reconsider recalling this part!

The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, the rear passenger's side tire became flat, and the front passenger's side tire lost a significant amount of air pressure. The contact was able to drive to the residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where all four tires were replaced with brand new tires; however, the failure recurred a week later. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the deflated tires were resealed; however, the failure recurred a month later. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the rims were corroded. The dealer cleaned the corroded rims and resealed the tires; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the rims and the seal on the rims were defective, causing the tires to deflate. The dealer informed the contact that several other Ford vehicles of the same model were experiencing the rim failure. The contact was referred to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and denied assistance due to the age of the vehicle; however, the dealer advised the contact that the failure was a factory defect and was not related to the age of the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

My vehicle only has 74K miles and the Ford dealership told me I need to replace all lug nugs because they are swollen and will need to be broken off. This is a $200 cost at the dealership for replacement. If purchased at store it is $60 plus someone to change them out. No way at $74k miles this should happen. I've seen many other posts about the same this with this years model. Also since I have aluminum rims, the lugs are hard to locate anywhere. They must have the "mushroom" offset with long attachment.

I own a 2015 Ford Edge 4 door SEL with 76k miles which I purchased in 2017 as the second owner. The dealership sold me 5 new lug nuts due to swollen original lug nuts. One lug nut cap were damaged during routine removal to replace an 8 yr old failing tire pressure sensor. I was told the lugs were swollen and had to be replaced. This seemed OBSURD. I researched this to find out that the OBSURDITY was that Ford Motor Company had been sued about this and it is a known defect of Ford vehicles. Quietly known. I am submitting this complaint because of the defective lug nuts that are a known issue, and could have been replaced at the dealership from the very first oil change or routine maintenance appointment. These defective parts routinely strand motorists or cause unnecessary excess costs to the owners when the actual fix is far less than $1 for each. when the entire vehicle uses only 20, this is negligence on the part of Ford Motor company. As a consumer on a fixed income, who purchased the bumper to bumper warranty from Ford, the neglected $20 fix of MY vehicle has cost me over $75 so far, and if the dealership (an extension of Ford Motor Company) has their way, they are happy to charge me that for my 3 remaining tires. A total consumer burden of $300 (per the dealership pricing) for a $20 fix by the manufacturer. All becuase the know problem causes a financial burden and not enough consumers have actually had physical or catestrophic accidents,... yet. A RECALL is REQUIRED. If not, there should be a required reimbursement to ALL consumers who are forced to replace the defective parts. The reimbursement should be that the dealerships seek reimbursement, and that the consumers receive the replacements free of charge.

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V469000 (Service Brakes, Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the dealer that the vehicle was taken to had not completed the recall repair. The contact stated while his wife was driving approximately 35 MPH and decelerating to make a left turn, the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard. The contact's wife stopped the turn and did not make the turn. The contact's wife coasted for nearly 1/2 mile before she was able to stop the vehicle. The contact had the vehicle towed to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the front brake lines needed to be replaced. The contact stated that her son reported that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated to respond while depressing the brake pedal, causing the braking distance to be extended. Reading up on situation ford has had Electronic throttle body issues that match all symptoms, Customer Satisfaction Program 16B32. Car is going to ford ASAP for inspection and diagnostic. Before this incident only few problems with the car. Premature battery Failure 2x, and door electronics failing to open windows and lock unlock vehicle.

I’m not a car expert. However, this suv has been rusting for some time in (1) one spot. Why? Because there seems to be a manufacture defect in or on the door body structure. I am concerned that the rust my be effecting my safety when driving and May fall off eventually. Causing injury. I can not get an explanation from FORD as the why this is happening! Other than it must be a manufacturer issue/defect etc.

The Panoramic Vista Glass Sunroof on my 2015 Ford Edge shows many cracks along the front edge of the glass for no apparent reasons. This was discovered recently on a calm cloudy day. I've attached some pictures at different angles. This roof has the potential to explode if going on a high speed. I'm surprise to discovered that their is no recall issue for this model, but on other Ford Models with Panoramic Glass Sunroof. Please investigate and add this Make/Model to Ford Panoramic Vista Glass Sunfoof Recall List. No vehicle should have a roof top crack for no apparent reason. I'm afraid to even open the soft divider separating the car riders from the glass sunroof.

In reviewing the origin report; it appears the car was built from scrape and unknown to purchaser. Door may fall off! Inspected by Liberty Ford. Sold at well above lot price. No recall yet. I WAS NOT IN THE CAR WHEN IT HAPPENED AND DO NOT LEAVE MY SUNROOF SHADE OPEN ALL THE TIME, SO I CANNOT BE SURE EXACTLY WHEN THE CRACKS HAPPENED. I LEAVE THE SHADE CLOSED DURING THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS.

While driving 45-50 mph, without any warning or indication, there was a sudden loss of power and the ability to accelerate. The engine and all electric components were still working but I was not able to accelerate, only coast. There was a wrench warning light, Hill side assist error message, and airbag warning light that showed up on the dash. After pulling over safely, the car was turned off for roughly 30 seconds and restarted. After restarting the vehicle, all systems seemed to work properly. After driving a few days and avoiding any highways, I have not had this happen again. I decided to error on the side of caution and take the vehicle to the dealership for further diagnostics. AT 9AM ON APRIL 4, I WAS COASTING INTO A PARKING SPOT IN THE REAR OF A DOCTOR'S OFFICE. I WAS JUST ABOUT TO PUT THE CAR INTO "PARK", WHEN THE 2015 FORD EDGE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AT WHAT FELT LIKE FULL SPEED, AND HIT A CHAIN LINK FENCE ABOUT 6 FT AFTER JUMPING A CURB. I SOMEHOW BRAKED AND GOT THE CAR INTO "PARK". AFTER A FEW MOMENTS, I PUT MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE AND PUT THE CAR INTO "REVERSE" TO BACK DOWN TO THE PARKING SPOT, AND THE CAR IMMEDIATELY AGAIN ACCELERATED AT WHAT SEEMED LIKE TOP SPEED IN REVERSE, AND AFTER ABOUT 50 FEET CRASHED INTO A DUMPSTER AND ITS WOODEN ENCLOSURE. THIS WAS ACTUALLY FORTUNATE, BECAUSE 10 FT BEYOND THE DUMPSTER WAS THE COMMERCIAL BUILDING WITH A PERSON SITTING AT A DESK JUST INSIDE A WINDOW THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CRASH POINT. IN ADDITION TO DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE BEING DESTROYED, THE FORD EDGE HIT A 2013 TESLA DRIVER'S SIDE REVIEW MIRROR. THERE IS NO POLICE REPORT AS THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. HOWEVER, THERE WERE 4 WITNESSES TO THE ACCIDENT, AND ALL AGREED THAT "I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT, AND THANK GOD NO WAS INJURED OR EVEN KILLED" I WAS NOT INJURED, JUST SHAKEN UP. I CONTACTED THE FORD MOTOR CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP DEPT ON APRIL 9 TO REPORT THE MECHANICAL MALFUNCTION, AND WAS ASSIGNED A CASE NUMBER: CAS14557623. AND WAS TOLD BY LAW THAT THE FORD OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL HAD 15 BUSINESS DAYS TO RESPOND IN WRITING. THE STATE FARM APPROVED BODY SHOP ESTIMATED REPAIRS AT APPROX $9,600. BUT IS MY BELIEF THAT THIS CAR SHOULD NOT EVER BE ON THE ROAD AGAIN, SO WE DECLINED THE REPAIRS AND HAD THE CAR TOWED TO OUR PROPERTY UNTIL WE RECEIVE SOME RESPONSE FROM FORD. At random times, while driving at freeway speeds, the engine will suddenly start to decelerate and the RPM's will rev high. There is seemingly known "trigger" for this as it happens intermittently and has happened while driving a flat surface at a steady speed or when at a slight incline or decline. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, sometimes it happens after a couple of hours into a trip, sometimes is happens after 20 minutes on the road. It's quite terrifying because you are unable to accelerate suddenly. At freeway speeds, this is dangerous and can cause an accident if you are unable to get over, out of the way of other drivers. I have noticed that if you can pull over and safely stop, once the car is turned off and back on, it seems to "reset" and will drive correctly for a while before happening again.

THE ETB (ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY) IN OUR CAR MALFUNCTIONED, CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION TO DISENGAGE WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE ENGINE STILL RAN, BUT THE TRANSMISSION WAS NON-FUNCTIONAL. IT WAS ONLY AFTER COASTING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND RE-STARTING THE VEHICLE COULD THE TRANSMISSION ENGAGE TO GET HOME. THIS HAPPENED TWICE WITHIN FOUR MILES. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER AND THE ETB REPLACED. THE SERVICE REP SAID THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH FORD VEHICLES. I ASKED IT THE REPLACEMENT ETB A CORRECTIVE PART TO FIX THIS ISSUE, BUT HE STATED HE 'DID NOT KNOW'. THIS CAR HAS ONLY 9300 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS COULD BE A VERY SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, SUCH AS BEING IN THE MIDDLE OF A HIGH-SPEED MULTI-LANE TURNPIKE. YOU CAN EASILY IMAGINE BEING STALLED IN SUCH AN INSTANCE AND BEING HIT FROM BEHIND BY FOLLOWING TRAFFIC. MY ONLINE RESEARCH SHOWS THIS IS A PROBLEM DATING BACK ON FORD VEHICLES FROM 2009 AT LEAST, AND THAT THE NHTSA IS 'STUDYING' THE PROBLEM, BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED. MY QUESTION IS WHY HASN'T THIS BEEN DONE SINCE I AM CONVINCED MOST PEOPLE WOULD CONSIDER THIS ISSUE AS AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERN, VERY DANGEROUS TO BOTH SUCH VEHICLE OWNERS, AND OTHER TRAFFIC.

AFTER CHECKING WITH THE DEALER THEY SAY WHEN THEY REPLACE THE ENTIRE UNIT THIS OCCUR AGAIN. THEY SAID IT IS A BAD DESIGN. I LIVE IN A STATE THAT REQUUIRES A VEHICLE YEARLY STATE INSPECTION.AND FOGED UP LENS IS A CONSERN. THIS DOES NOT LEAK INTO THE LENS IN RAIN OR CAR WASH. THIS AUTO IS KEPT GARAGED EXCEPT WHEN IN USE.

THE HEAD LIGHTS ON THIS MODEL FORD ARE DANGEROUSLY INADEQUATE. THE IS NO PERIPHERAL LIGHTING AND THE CANDLE POWER AT DUSK AND DARK IS SO LOW THE VISION IS EXTREMELY POOR. I DON'T DRIVE THE CAR AT NIGHT DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS. WHEN SEARCHED ONLINE THIS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2015 EDGE.

Our vehicle was making very loud noises and the cooling fan kept running. We took the car to the Ford Dealership as it has some recalls that needed to be fixed and we needed some general maintenance performed. The dealer let us know that the water pump had a crack and needed to be repaired immediately. I looked online and it appears that this is a known issues with Ford vehicles. This was a very costly repair because they had to take out the engine to be able to reach the water pump. We were advised that if this was not repaired the leak could reach the engine and cause total failure. Water pump failed. This has been confirmed by an independent service center. Found this issues as the car leaked entire reseviour of coolant. Fortunately this was found while the car was parked. However the issue makes the car immediate undriveable to prevent further damage and has to be towed. Were it not found while parked, the engine would have completely shut down in motion. Approximately a $2,500 repair as it currenlty sits.

55,000 miles and start the car it shakes and engine light comes on. My plugin said misfired cylinder so we Take it to Apple ford in maplewood, mn and they say it has coolant in engine cylinders and need to replace the engine for about $7500 and it’s not drivable they said. Internet has many lists of this complaint for my engine but still no recall. I’ve had it parked since waiting.

I own a 2015 sport edge that got serviced from the dealership at the beginning of the year 2023 for a rattling noice, loss of power, and a shut off problem while been operated on the highway. Expenses where paid out of pocket twice for the same reasons but now in July 2023 I received a recall letter 22N12 about this problem and after getting another diagnosis from the dealership I've been advised that a new engine is needed and that ford will not cover any expenses even after the recall 22N12 stating that the problems I'm having with my car are the same diagnosis the dealership gave me months ago but now this recall for some reason is not available even thou is was a manufacturer issue. Thanks but this issue put my family at risk multiple times while operating the vehicle after a recall was created and never fixed by ford.

Cracked Flexplate, that keeps happening. Replaced in Sept 2020, before the bulletin from Ford was sent to owners. So the replacement was the same faulty flexplute as stated in the bulletin. Soon March of 2023, when the flexplate cracked again, of course I was denied any assist, because I was out of the warranty by 3 weeks! As well, as out of mileage for a 50% assist.

MY CAR IS FORD EDGE 2015 WITH ONLY 6000 MILES ON IT. I WAS ENTERING THE RAMP ON A FREEWAY AND WHEN ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE THE CAR JUST SHUT OFF BY ITSELF. I BLOCKED THE WHOLE ROAD BECAUSE COULD NOT MOVE. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON JUST A MESSAGE DISPLAYED ON THE DASH "FULL ACCESSORY POWER ACTIVE" AND THE GREEN LIGHT ON THE STARTER BUTTON WAS FLASHING. HAD TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND WAIT 2-3 MIN UNTIL I COULD SUCCESSFULLY RESTART IT. THE NEXT DAY MY CAR DID THE SAME THING ON A BUSY STREET INTERSECTION. I HAD TO WAIT AGAIN A LITTLE BIT TO RESTART IT AND DROVE TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY TOOK THE CAR TO CHECK FOR ONE DAY, NO RENTAL WAS PROVIDED. PULLED UP TO A RED LIGHT AND WAITED UNTIL THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN. THEN I ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE AND THE THE ENGINE SHUT OFF; HOWEVER, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ENGINE SHUT OFF WHILE THE CAR WAS STOPPED PRIOR TO ACCELERATING. A WARNING CAME UP ON THE VEHICLE DISPLAY, BUT I CANNOT REMEMBER THE EXACT WARNING. I SHIFTED INTO PARK AND STARTED THE CAR BACK UP, AND ALL ERRORS CLEARED. I received notification that my vehicle had a recall for related to emissions. At the dealership for repair, I was also informed of a second recall concerning airbags and they may no deploy if needed. The emissions recall was completed however the airbag recall procedure could not be performed due to what the technician described as a "weak" battery in my vehicle. If my vehicle’s battery was insufficient for completing the recall, I believe it is the dealership's responsibility to have the necessary tools, such as a service battery, to perform recall-related repairs. My understanding is that all recall procedures are to be carried out at no cost to the consumer, yet Bill Knight Ford is asking me to pay up wards of $200 to address the battery issue before the recall can be completed. Additionally, after checking the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website with my VIN, I did not find any other recalls listed. With this in mind, I have a few questions: Could you confirm whether there are any open recalls for my vehicle, particularly regarding the airbags? Am I correct in assuming that I am not responsible for ensuring my car is "ready" for recall procedures, such as replacing the battery? If there is an open airbag recall, how can I ensure the dealership completes the necessary repairs at no cost to me? Another car ran a red light and I unfortunately tboned them with the front of my vehicle causing my car to be totaled. Because my airbags did not go off I was thrown into the window causing a head injury and an ambulance ride to the hospital. I have yet to have it be inspected to see if there were airbags or if there was a faulty issue with them. Police stated to me that they could not believe the airbags did not go off from the crash. The vehicle has been inspected by insurance for auto damage but not an in depth look to see if there was an issue with the airbags. There were no warning lamps or messages about the airbags.

Wife was on a trip. On April 27 2022 there were no warning lights or messages that she noticed. On arriving at her destination, tried to open rear hatch several times. Also tried button on the dash and attempts to manually pull up on hatch nothing would open it. Crawled into back to retrieve luggage then locked the vehicle for the night. Next morning tried to unlock the passenger door and would not work. Seemed that battery was to low to allow door lock to operate. Called tow service next morning. Service opened door and had to charge battery. Service said hatch not closed sufficient to let entry lights to stay on discharging the battery. At that time, dash button opened the hatch for technician. Ran car enough to charge battery. Wife left for return trip later on April 30 2022, at which time hatch would again not open. This is a safety issue If not able to open hatch to escape the vehicle in emergency or if power is lost. There is also no hatch emergency release for quick escape from vehicle. At this time the problem still exists. It is May 1 2022. I am calling Ford dealer and insurance rep. tomorrow May 2, 2022 to ask about this problem and see if any recalls apply. I WAS STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT IN CLEAR, WARM WEATHER WHEN THE ENGINE SILENTLY TURNED ITSELF OFF. NOT REALIZING THIS, I ATTEMPTED TO TURN, BUT THE EDGE WAS OFF. AC AND RADIO REMAINED ON. I DID NOT SEE ANY WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD. AFTER A FEW FRANTIC MINUTES, I NOTICED THE SMALL GREEN LIGHT ON THE IGNITION BUTTON WAS FLASHING. I PUT CAR IN PARK AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART ENGINE. WE COASTED INTO A PARKING SPACE AND THE AUTOMOBILE WAS UNRESPONSIVE TO ME TRYING TO SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN FOR APPROXIMATELY 3 TO 5 SECONDS. THERE WAS A NOTIFICATION THAT APPEARED ON THE DASH WHEN THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN BUT I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT IT SAID. IT THEN ALLOWED ME TO DEPRESS THE START/STOP BUTTON THAT ALLOWED THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TO SHUT DOWN FOR A RE-START. I THEN RESTARTED THE ENGINE AND PICKED UP MY PASSENGER AND DROVE HOME. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN PROBLEM FREE BEFORE THE INCIDENT AND DID NOT CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS ON OUR RETURN DRIVE HOME. WE WERE VERY LUCKY TO HAVE BEEN IN A PARKING LOT AND NOT ON A BUSY HIGHWAY PULLING IN FRONT OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC.

Intermittently the seat heater for the drivers seat activates on its own. Goes to full heat getting extremely hot. Cannot initially turn down or off with the button on dash. Have to turn off vehicle and let it sit. Start vehicle - seat heater still on full. Sometimes the off/start sequence has to be repeated several times, before the button will work, lowering or turning off the seat heater. Incidents are increasing in frequency. Now taking more off/starts to get the seat heater to deactivate. Last incident. 5 off/start sequences over an 8-10 minute period.

My 2015 Ford Edge was in my garage. I opened the garage door to leave and started the vehicle. It said my hatchback was open . I got out to shut it and left the driver door open. Upon closing the hatch my vehicle began rolling backwards. I was hit in the leg and shoulder while getting out of the way of the car. I also sustained cuts on my hand from the open car door. We have a steep approach to our garage and live on an acreage with timber. The vehicle rolled down the approach to the garage and into and through the timber before it hit a tree big enough to stop it. At the body shop the repairman said he moved the car and put it in park and got out but the car then began rolling back on him as well. He was able to get in and stop it. Insurance has declared the car a total loss. I saw some 2015 edge vehicles had recalls for possibly rolling after being put in park. The NHTSA campaign id is 22v413000. My VIN number was not included in the recall so I wanted to report it in case it should have been.

I FORD EDGE HAS A BUMPING SOUND ON THE PASSAGNER SIDE. IT WAS A BRAND NEW VECHILE. BUT IT MADE THIS NOISE. COME TO FIND OUT AFTER IT BROKE DOWN THE THROTTLE BODY AND POWER TRAIN. I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THEIR WAS A RECALL BY FCC SAID THEIR WAS NO RECALL. FCC WOULD NOT BUY THE CAR BACK. THE DEALERSHIP DID "FIX" IT BUT WHAT REALLY IS A FIX ( A PATCH) WHICH MEANS IT WILL BREAK DOWN AGAIN. THE CAR WOULD NOT CRANK OR MAKE ANY NOISES! IT JUST STOPPED IN A PARKING SPOT.

I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR 9 MONTHS. 1ST OCCURRENCE ON 3/31/19, ACCELERATING TO MERGE ON HIGHWAY AND VEHICLE SHUDDERED, LOST ENGINE POWER AND WENT INTO LIMP MODE. I LIMPED IT HOME AND AFTER ABOUT 10 MINUTES I STARTED THE VEHICLE AND IT DROVE FINE... UNTIL 2ND OCCURRENCE ON 4/4/19... THIS TIME WAS DRIVING ABOUT 35-40 MPG APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION WHEN THE VEHICLE LOST ALL ENGINE POWER AND I COASTED TO THE STOP LIGHT, PUT IN PARK, SHUT OFF VEHICLE AND RESTARTED... IT THEN DROVE NORMALLY. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY TWICE. THE 1ST OCCURRENCE WAS SCARY AS I WAS JUST GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY WITH CARS APPROACHING ME FROM BEHIND VERY QUICKLY NOT KNOWING THAT I COULD ONLY GO ABOUT 20MPH. From my personal experience and other edge owner on forum complaints. The rear seat belt that inflatable have a problem to retract and get stuck. The seat belt is back ordered. I place an order to get mine replace almost a year and still waiting. There is a defect in the seat belt as lot of people complain of the same issue with the edge. As a result the car cannot pass state inspection since the rear passenger seat belt do not pull out. This is a manufactured defect as several people have experienced this problem with their edge

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated that upon filling the gas tank and attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle initially failed to start as intended. After finally starting the vehicle, the contact briefly heard an abnormal sound emanating from the rear of the vehicle, but the vehicle returned to normal functionality, with the failure later becoming a regular occurrence. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the canister purge valve. The vehicle was not repaired. Faulty water pump leak which is extremely expensive to repair due to manufacturer encasing it inside the timing belt chain. I cannot afford a $5K repair for something that should be extremely more affordable due to Ford’s scheme to acquire more money to repair. Standard mechanics cannot complete tasks due to the severity of the job as well as specialized tools required including lifting the car. These water pump, according to what I was informed was designed to last at least 150K miles.

I received a Customer Satisfaction Program Notice in June 2023 #22N12 regarding the flex plate, transmission fluid pump and torque converter but the 100% coverage ended on 2/28/23. I was told by Ford on 7/3/23 that I should have received the notification in September 2022 but I did not. The representative told me that others have reported same problem in the last week or so. The Complaint number given to me by Ford is CAS43676484. I also submitted another complaint with nhtsa.gov number 11530072. I am unable to pay for this repair due to being on SS Disability since 2017 and also becoming a widow on 2/12/22. Please contact me with any available assistance with these issues which I was not properly notified of and am suffering hardship due to problems known by Ford with my vehicle I purchased in good faith.

My panoramic vista sunroof has cracked. The cracks are wavy and everywhere on the rear passenger side. This cracked at 52k miles I also have just replaced the flex plate that cost me $2,275 and 1 month without driving my vehicle. I have 68k miles on this vehicle currently. My transmission fluid was BLACK when they replaced my flexplate as well.

In june of 2022, the vehicle was exhibiting symptoms of hard to start especially after refueling, stalling, and poor drivability and the check engine light was illuminated.This vehicle was taken to local ford dealer (dowling ford- cheshire, ct) and diagnosed as a faulty fuel vapor separator (aka purge valve/solenoid) Ford part # f2gz-9d289-a. The dealer performed diagnosis/repair/replacement of this part at a total cost of approximately $600. The problem appeared to have been fixed, but now on 10/15/2024 the same issue re-appeared, and once again the dealer has determined same part has failed and now will cost $729 for diag/repair/replacement. This repair is just outside of the 2 year parts and labor warranty provided by ford and/or dealer. According to my online research this is a well known and common problem with these vehicles as well as many other similar ford vehicles which a recall HAS been issued for, and driver/occupant safety is gravely affected because this issue can cause stalling, poor throttle response, inability to start, and general poor driveability which seriously affects safety and cause a crash or cause driver to be unable to avoid a crash or other danger. Ford motor co and ford dealer refuses to accept responsibility for this issue and will not offer any assistance for repair. As of 10/29/24 the vehicle has not been repaired yet, and vehicle and parts are available for inspection.

I was recently driving home from work in rush hour traffic. At a stop light I began to accelerate and my car jerked extremely hard. Once I got to the next stoplight my Ford Edge began to shake violently. I was startled and didn’t know what to do. I was in the middle of traffic and it the shaking was incredibly scary. I got the car onto the mechanic only to be told that it’s the Torque Converter Shutter. Ford states that there’s no recall on this issue but it should be. My vehicle has less than 100k and this shouldn’t have happened.

Engine check has been on for the last month. Prior to that the light was on with an error code P1450 stating I need to replace the Evan vap canister, which was done yet the light after only a day came back on. Now the engine check light is stating P0456 and anytime I go to fill up the car turns off and needs to be jump started.

While driving forward at various speeds (usually above 35 mph) the backup camera will engage and the transmission indicator will become blank (from "D") - and Wrench warning light came on during most recent events. It has happened about a dozen times sporadically over the past year and lasts for half minute to several minutes. It happens without warning. Dealer at first told me they could not analyze the problem unless they saw it happen. In Oct 22 when car was in shop for 2 other recall repairs, dealer said they would analyze it, charged me $145 with notation: 'checked for codes and found P0709 in continuous memory. PPT instructs to clear codes and test drive. Test drove 5 miles and found concern did not return at this time. Gave est on tr sensor due to suspected intermittent internal fault." I declined paying for repair because this does not seem to be normal wear and tear and I am doing nothing to cause the problem with how I operate the car.

While driving my 2015 Ford Edge the Power Steering stopped working, the dashboard lite up. I stopped the SUV. and was unable to drive. I took it to my local garage and they pulled codes and diagnosed a bad Power Steering rack and pinon. Located a used one for $350.00 had that installed but did not work! I had to buy a new one at a cost of $1492.36 . The total cost between parts and labor was over $2500.00 The garage that did all the work took it upon it self to take apart the original Rack and Pinon to see what happened to it?? They found that the seal between the two halves on the Rack and Pinon had failed and that water had gotten into the unit and ruined the electronics inside it. The recall on the bolts was done , but problem should up shortly after? I FEEL THIS IS A FLAW IN THE DESIGN OF THE UNIT AND SHOULD BE LOOKED INTO BY THE NHTSA further, because this could of caused a serious crash!!

The contact stated that the vehicle would indicate that there was a system reset, and the failure would reoccur. A jump start was required in order to start the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who checked the battery and alternator, which they found no issue with. THE SKIRT AIRBAG DEPLOYED BUT THE MAIN AIRBAG DID NOT. SHE ALSO STATES THAT THE LAP BELT HELD IN IN THE SEAT BUT THE SHOULDER HARNESS DID NOT LOCK AND SHE WAS THRUST INTO THE STEERING WHEEL. IF THAT WASNT ENOUGH, I HAD TO CALL A TOW TRUCK BECAUSE MY CAR BATTERY DIED AS A RESULT OF BEING ABLE TO CLOSE THE DOORS. THIS HAS HAPPENED COUNTLESS TIMES AND NOW AGAIN I HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE BUT THE LIFT GATE IS AJAR. THIS TIME HOWEVER THE CAR IS STILL DRIVING. HOW CAN FORD NOT RECALL THIS? AFTER THE REPAIR WAS PERFORMED, THE VEHICLE IDLED VERY HIGHLY UNTIL THE ENGINE WARMED UP. ALSO, THE BRAKES WOULD NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO GRADUALLY STOP THE VEHICLE. FROM THE DATE WE BOUGHT OUR FORD EDGE WE HAVE HAD WHITE PARTICLES, DUST AND DIRT COMING IN FROM ALL OF THE DOOR SEALS AND REAR BACK HATCH. THE WHITE PARTICLES ARE ALL THROUGH THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A BROWN DUST OR DIRT ON THE TOP OF THE PASSENGER SEAT AND REAR PASSENGER SEAT AND ON THE HEAD RESTS FOR BOTH SEATS. THE DIRT AND DUST MAKES ME COUGH A LOT, ( NO ONE HAS EVER SMOKED IN THE CAR ). IT FEELS LIKE WE ARE INSIDE OF A VACUUM CLEANER DISPOSABLE BAG. WE BELIEVE NONE OF THE SEALS ON ANY OF THE DOORS WORK PROPERLY. WHEN WE FIRST GOT THE CAR, A BURNING SMELL WAS COMING FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM WAS PUT ON THE CAR A MONTH AFTER WE BOUGHT IT. THAT PROBLEM WITH THE BURNING SMELL WENT AWAY. WE WERE TOLD BY THE FOURTH DEALERSHIP THAT WE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THAT ALL THE SEALS ON THE DOORS AND BACK HATCH WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED, BUT THAT NEVER CAME ABOUT. SO HERE WE SIT WITH ALL THE WHITE DUST AND DIRT. WE BELIEVE THE CABIN FILTERS ARE NOT WORKING. SO THE DUST AND THE DIRT ARE ALSO COMING IN THROUGH ALL OF THE VENTS IN THE VEHICLE.

WHILE DRIVING AT 70 MPH ON A BUSY STRETCH OF HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE JERKED SLIGHTLY, A NOTIFICATION LIGHT (ORANGE WRENCH) CAME ON SAYING TO CHECK THE OWNER'S MANUAL, AND THE ACCELERATOR CEASED TO FUNCTION. I WAS ABLE TO NAVIGATE THE CAR SAFELY TO THE SHOULDER; HOWEVER, THE BRAKING FELT STRAINED AND THERE WAS NO ABILITY TO THROTTLE THE ENGINE AT ANY POINT. UPON STOPPING ANOTHER NOTIFICATION POPPED UP SAYING THAT "HILL ASSIST UNAVAILABLE". ONCE STOPPED, I TURNED THE ENGINE OFF AND LET THE CAR SIT FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES. THE CAR RESTARTED (ALBEIT ROUGHLY), AND I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE HOME SAFELY. THE CAR IS CURRENTLY AT THE FORD DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. NO UPDATE HAS BEEN PROVIDED. THE ONLY FEEDBACK WE'VE GOTTEN WAS THAT THEY MAY "FIND NOTHING". THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM, AND I DO NOT BELIEVE THE VEHICLE IS SAFE TO OPERATE WITHOUT IDENTIFYING AND REPAIRING THIS ISSUE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT PLACED THE CHIP FROM THE STARTER BUTTON IN HIS POCKET. WHEN THE CHIP WAS SLIGHTLY BUMPED, IT OPENED THE TRUNK OF THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE TRUNK BECAME DAMAGED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A BODY SHOP AND THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER DID NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,750.

ISSUE 1: WHEN AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE 85 DEGREES THE ENGINE SHUTTERS,ACCELERATES VERY SLOWLY AND THE ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES. THIS HAPPENS CONSISTENTLY ON SHORT AND LONG TRIPS WITHOUT ANY WARNING. ISSUE 2: VENTILATED/COOLED SEATS DO NOT WORK WHEN AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURES ARE ABOVE 75 DEGREES.

THROTTLE BODY. FORD EDGE TITANIUM NEW CAR - HAVE FOR ROUGHLY 6 MONTHS - 10,000 MILEAGE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY DOING 65 - 70 MILES AN HOUR. CAR MAKES A BEEP NOISE AND A LARGE WRENCH APPEARS IN THE LEFT SCREEN ON THE DASHBOARD. NO ABILITY TO USE GAS PEDAL WHICH IS NOW LOCKED UP - CANNOT PRESS DOWN. CAR IS SLOWING DOWN. ONLY OPTIONS TO GO TO SIDE OF ROAD AND TURN OFF. CAR CAN BE RESTARTED. TAKE TO DEALERSHIP ASAP (HAPPENS AGAIN ON THE WAY - THIS TIME ONLY DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES AN HOUR). DEALERSHIP SAYS IT IS THE THROTTLE BODY AND THEY HAVE ORDERED PART TO REPAIR. BEEN WITHOUT A CAR FOR A WEEK. STILL AWAITING FOR DEALERSHIP TO REPAIR.

I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2015 FORD EDGE ON 12/29/15. ON JANUARY 19, 2016, THE ABS BREAK SYSTEM WENT OUT AND IT TOOK 2 WKS TO FIX.THIS HAPPENED WHEN I WAS 4 HOURS FROM MY HOME AND HAD TO LEAVE IT AT A DEALERSHIP THEN DRIVE 4 HOURS BACK TO GET IT. FORD COULD HAVE CARED LESS. YESTERDAY(5/24/2016),I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT THE SPEED LIMIT (70MPH) WHEN SUDDENLY MY VEHICLE'S GAS PEDAL STOPPED WORKING. I IMMEDIATELY FELT THE CAR DE ACCELERATE AND TRIED TO PRESS THE GAS PEDAL TO KEEP UP WITH TRAFFIC. HOWEVER, STOMPING ON THE GAS PEDAL DID NOTHING TO INCREASE THE SPEED. THERE WERE CARS SLAMMING ON THEIR BRAKES AND SWERVING TO GO AROUND ME. I WAS IN THE LEFT LANE OF A 3 LANE HIGHWAY AND MANY CARS AND 18 WHEELERS BEGAN SWERVING TO PASS ME ON THE RIGHT. IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO COAST TO THE SHOULDER. THE POWER STEERING SEEMED TO BE LIMITED AS WELL.THERE WERE 2 NEAR MISSES WITH OTHER CARS AND IT COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY BAD CRASH. I TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON AND MADE IT TO MY DESTINATION. BUT, THIS HAPPENED A SECOND TIME ON MY WAY HOME IN THE DARK. I TOOK IT IN THE NEXT MORNING AND USED ALL BACK ROADS BUT EVEN AT A LOWER SPEED, THE SAME THING HAPPENED TWICE. FORD NOW TELLS ME THAT THEY ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE "THROTTLE BODIES" ON THE 2015 EDGE AND THE PART IS BACKORDERED. THEREFORE IT COULD BE 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE MY CAR IS REPAIRED. I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN DECEMBER OF 2016 BRAND NEW OFF THE LOT, LESS THAN 6 MONTHS & LESS THAN 7K MILES LATER I EXPERIENCED AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS EQUIPMENT FAILURE WITH NO WARNING. FORD CUSTOMER SVC DOES NOT SEEM THE LEAST BIT CONCERNED THAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE NOT ONLY INCONVENIENCED BY THIS ISSUE, BUT COULD BE KILLED! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM? DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE TO GET THEIR ATTENTION. I AM STILL EXPECTED TO PAY FORD MOTER CREDIT ON THE CAR. HOWEVER, I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE IT.ONCE AGAIN, DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO DIE?

MY CAR LOST ACCELERATION AT 65 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. INDICATOR LIGHTS ILLUMINATED AND AFTER PULLING OVER AND TURNING THE CAR OFF WAS ABLE TO ACCELERATE AGAIN. WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY WITH NO ACCELERATION. I WAS IN THE SLOW LANE, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATING SITUATION IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN A DIFFERENT LANE WITH FASTER MOVING TRAFFIC. AFTER THE CAR WAS TURNED OFF AND THEN ON AGAIN, WAS ABLE TO ACCELERATE. DROVE ABOUT 5 MILES TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND LOST ACCELERATION COMPLETELY AGAIN. PURCHASED NEW IN DECEMBER 2015, CURRENTLY HAS 5222 MILES. THIS IS THE SECOND ISSUE WITH THE CAR. THE FIRST ISSUE WAS WITH THE BACK PASSENGER DOOR. IT WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY AND SOUNDED LIKE AIR WAS COMING IN. HAD TO HAVE DOOR REALIGNED.

ON JANUARY 4, 2016 THE VEHICLE ENTERED A SAFE MODE IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. WITHOUT NOTICE, WHILE IN MOTION AND IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC, THE VEHICLE SHUT DOWN; DEPLOYED THE EMERGENCY BRAKES; AND ATTEMPTED TO DIAL 911. IT NEARLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION. WE PROMPTLY TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP, WHERE THEY SAID THE ISSUE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED. THE REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE AT FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE STATED THAT IF THE ISSUE COULD NOT BE REPLICATED FORD WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. THE VEHICLE IS BRAND NEW, WITH AROUND 3000 MILES. WE ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE VEHICLE AND FORD'S UNWILLINGNESS TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE.
