Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2004 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that while attempting to trade the vehicle in, the dealer discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy, per the Carfax report. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 165,563. The actual mileage could not be determined because the Carfax report displayed that the mileage had drastically fluctuated over the years. No other agency was contacted.

GM IGNITION SWITCH RECALL: GMC REFUSES TO HONOR THE RECALL AND FIX THIS ISSUE ON BOTH MY SUV'S. I CAN'T BE PART OF THE CLASS ACTION UNTIL THESE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE, WHAT A SCAM. I OWN 2 GMC YUKON'S SLT AND BOTH QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL WHICH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF FROM GMC. NEITHER CAR EVER GOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURE AND LOCAL DEALERSHIPS REFUSED TO DO THE REPAIRS AT NO COST. THIS IS AFTER I PAID THESE [XXX] OVER $1000 TO FIX THIS PROBLEM ON ONE OF MY SUV'S MANY YEARS AGO WHICH DID NOT GET FIXED BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THEY COULDN'T FIND WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY SUV'S BUT THEY KNEW ALL ALONG. I WANT GM TO HONOR THEIR LEGAL OBLIGATIONS AND FIX MY SUV'S FAULTY IGNITION SYSTEM. I ONLY FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS A RECAL FROM THE CLASS ACTION ATTORNEYS. GM NEVER NOTIFIED ME OF ANY RECALLS EVER!! I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK. I ENDED UP GETTING JUST A FEW RAIN DROPS SO I CLICK MY WIPER SWITCH ONE TIME, IT DIDN'T COME ON. ( PUZZLED ) SO I REPEATED TO GET TO WATER OFF WINDOW ,1 CLICK AT A TIME THE WIPERS DIDN'T COME ON UNTIL I WAS AT HIGH. OF COURSE , NOW THEY ARE ON HIGH AND RAIN IS GONE, NOW I CAN'T GET THE BLADES TO STOP IN THE OFF POSITION. WELL, I HAD TO PULL OVER I COULDN'T CONCENTRATE ON WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO MY WIPERS? AS WELL AS DRIVE. THIS HAPPENED ON JULY 10, 2019. I'VE CALLED GMC A COUPLE TIMES, 1ST TIME THEY JUST CLOSED NEXT TIME I DIDNT TRANSFER TO SERVICE DEPT . THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS FAULTY DO TO BATTERY DRAIN. THIS PROBLEM PERSISTS WITH A MAJORITY OF TRUCKS AND SUV'S OF THE SAME GENERATION AS MY 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI XL. THE COST FROM THE DEALER TO REPLACE THIS PART IS APPROXIMATELY $2000. THERE ARE AFTERMARKET INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO REPLACE THIS PART AT A COST OF ALL MOST $600. THIS REQUIRES PROGRAMMING BY THE DEALER FOR A COST OF ANOTHER $500+ ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME ISSUE REPEAT IT SELF AT LATER DATE.

THE SUBJECT VEHICLE HAD RECENTLY BEEN PARKED AFTER TOWING A 29 FOOT LONG TRAVEL TRAILER. IT HAD SAT FOR APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS SINCE WE LAST USED IT. DURING THE 2011 30 OCTOBER SNOW STORM IN PA, I WENT TO PICK IT UP TO USE IT. I STARTED DOWN THE DRIVEWAY AND WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES AND THE BRAKE PEDAL TRAVELED TO THE FLOOR. ALL OF THE ANTILOCK AND BRAKE WARNING LIGHTS APPEARED ON THE DASH. I WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND BACK IT BACK THE DRIVEWAY AND PARK IT. WE LATER CALLED AAA AND HAD IT TOWED TO A LOCAL CHEVY DEALER. THEY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AND LET US KNOW THAT THEY HAD FOUND A BRAKE LINE THAT BURST DUE TO CORROSION. THIS BRAKE LINE IS ALMOST DIRECTLY UNDER THE POWER BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY AND IS SOMEWHAT HIDDEN FROM VIEW. IT LIES ATOP THE FRAME IN THIS AREA AND ACCORDING TO THE DEALER HAD CORRODED. ACCORDING TO THE DEALER THEY HAD TO FABRICATE A REPLACEMENT BRAKE LINE AND WERE ABLE TO REPLACE IT. THEY FURTHER INDICATED THEY LOOKED AT THE OTHER BRAKE LINES AND DID NOT SEE ANY FURTHER INDICATION OF CORROSION. I HAVE DRIVEN THE GMC FOR ABOUT TEN MILES SINCE THE REPAIR AND THE BRAKES APPEAR TO BE BACK TO NORMAL. LET ME ADD THIS, I HAVE OWNED 15 DIFFERENT VEHICLES IN MY LIFE AND NOT ONE HAS HAD TO HAVE A STEEL BRAKE LINE REPLACED. THIS IS THE FIRST. JUST LIKE THE OTHER GM OWNERS, WHEN THESE LINES FAIL THE BRAKING ABILITY TO STOP THIS TWO TON VEHICLE IS ALMOST NON-EXISTENT I AM VERY THANKFUL THIS LINE DID NOT FAIL WHILE TOWING THE 29 FOOT TRAVEL TRAILER. *KB

WE HAVE A 2004 GMC YUKON. SINCE WE'VE HAD IT, REDUCED ENGINE POWER HAS BECOME A CONSTANT AND DANGEROUS PROBLEM. MOST RECENTLY, YESTERDAY, MY HUSBAND WAS TRYING TO ACCELERATE TO PASS A SLOWER VEHICLE WITH HUGE TIRES ON THE BACK ONLY TO HAVE THIS HAPPEN. IF SOMEONE HAD BEEN BEHIND US, WE WOULD HAVE BEEN HIT, SERIOUSLY INJURED, MAYBE EVEN DEAD WITH SOME OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES WE HAVE HAD ON THE INTERSTATE. TODAY IS AUGUST 23, 2011. WE HAD THIS VEHICLE FIXED ON JULY 28, 2011, PAYING ALMOST $600 FOR IT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF. IT SAYS ON THE TICKET THAT WE TOLD THEM ABOUT IT AND WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THIS WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. THEY REPLACED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY, WHICH I BELIEVE INCLUDED THE APP SENSOR, AND CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY OF EXCESSIVE CARBON BUILD UP. WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY OR WITHIN CITY, THE TRUCK DISPLAYS A WARNING "STABILITY SYSTEM DISABLED, REDUCED ENGINE POWER". THE TRUCK WHILE IN MOTION LOWERS POWER AND BECOMES A SAFETY HAZARD, UNABLE TO DRIVE WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. MY 2004 GMC YUKON XL SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING. IT WAS STUCK AT 10MPH FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. IT WENT BACK DOWN TO ZERO BUT WOULD NOT REGISTER PROPERLY AFTER THAT. IT IS PRESENTLY STUCK AT 120MPH EVEN WHEN THE CAR IS OFF. I DID CONTACT GM AN THEY SAID THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BRING IT IN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICTS AND IT WOULD BE COVERED ONLY IF IT WAS THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER THAT WAS BAD. *TR

THIS HAS OCCURRED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE THE INITIAL OCCURRENCE. AT VARIOUS SPEEDS (5-55 MPH) THE STEERING GOES OUT AND YOU CANNOT MOVE THE STEERING WHEEL. OUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE YEARS TO CORRECT THIS. THE MECHANICS CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG, AND SINCE THIS IS NOT A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM, THEY ARE UNABLE TO EXPERIENCE IT. IT'S A FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU ARE ON THE BELTWAY AND NEED TO TAKE AN EXIT, OR FOLLOW THE BELTWAY BEARING RIGHT OR LEFT AND YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF YOUR STEERING. MORE FRIGHTENING IS WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE. I'VE HAD ONE MINOR INCIDENT/ACCIDENT WHILE BACKING UP TO PARK MY TRUCK AT A CAMPGROUND. I DID NOT HAVE MY FOOT ON THE GAS AND WAS DRIFTING. THERE WAS A TREE BEHIND ME, WHICH I NEEDED TO PARK NEXT TO, AND THE STEERING WENT OUT AND MY LEFT BUMPER EDGE CAUGHT THE TREE, WHICH PUSHED THE BUMPER IN SLIGHTLY. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS $50 TO SCAN SYSTEM AND $580 TO FIX THE PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSOR. THE OLD PART IS STILL ON MY CAR BECAUSE I AM NOT PAYING THAT FOR A $25.00 PART. I THINK THIS IS RIDICULOUS. MY SON AND I WERE GOING NORTH ON RT 1 IN REHOBOTH BEACH AND STOPPED AT A LIGHT AND SMELLED GAS. I PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND GAS WAS LEAKING FAST FROM THE TOP OF THE GAS TANK. MY 18-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER NARROWLY ESCAPED DEATH THE EVENING OF MAY 1ST WHILE DRIVING MY 2004 GMC YUKON DENALI. SHE WAS IN A RELATIVELY "ROUTINE" ACCIDENT IN WHICH SHE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH AND STRUCK A TREE HEAD-ON IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA OF COLORADO SPRINGS. A GOOD SAMARITAN PULLED HER FROM THE VEHICLE SECONDS BEFORE THE VEHICLE ERUPTED INTO A MASSIVE FIREBALL THAT COMPLETELY GUTTED THE VEHICLE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM ENORMOUSLY TROUBLED BY THE FIREBALL -- NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAPPEN IN THIS TYPE OF ACCIDENT. I WAS DRIVING ON DELAWARE ROUTE # 1 DOING THE SPEED LIMIT (65MPH) IN MY 2004 GMC YUKONXL WHEN I LOST POWER TO THE VEHICLE. FORTUNATELY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF OF THE HIGHWAY ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER EVEN WITHIN FAST MOVING TRAFFIC. AFTER ASSESSING THE SITUATION I REALIZE THAT MY MOTOR WAS STILL RUNNING WITH THE DASH INDICATORS SHOWING THE ENGINE LIGHT AND THE REDUCED POWER SIGNAL LIGHT ON. WHEN TRAFFIC HAD CLEARED I ATTEMPTED TO GO BACK ON THE HIGHWAY BUT FOUND I COULD ONLY TRAVEL BETWEEN 35-40 MILES PER HOUR. KNOWING THAT THERE WAS A GM DEALER AHEAD IN 15-20 MILES I CONTINUED ON RT #1 SINCE THE SPEED LIMIT AHEAD WAS REDUCED TO 55MPH. WHEN I REACHED THE GM DEALER I.G.BURTON IN MILFORD DELAWARE I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE HAD A BUBBLE ON THE OUTSIDE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO TREAD SEPARATION. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE FAILURE A SECOND TIME AND WAS TAKEN TO THE TIRE SHOP. THE TECHNICIANS STATED THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO TREAD SEPARATION. THE CONTACT STATED HE DID NOT HAVE THE TIRE REPLACED BECAUSE THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH THE COST AND HE FELT IT WAS A SAFETY DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000.

I HAD A TIRE FAILURE WITH A SET OF GOOD YEAR EAGLES LS1. THE TIRE HAD FIVE TO SIX CRACKS IN THE INNER AND OUTER SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE CAUSING THE TIRE TO DEFLATE. INITIALLY I THOUGHT THAT IT WAS JUST ONE TIRE, BUT, IT ENDED UP BEING ALL FOUR TIRES. I TOOK THE TIRE IN TO GET ANOTHER ONE ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE TIRES WERE FLAWED AND THAT I WOULD AND OR SHOULD REPLACE THEM AS THEY WERE NOW A SAFETY HAZARD. I ENDED UP HAVING TO REPLACE ALL FOUR TIRES. MY QUESTION IS, AT WHAT POINT DOES A TIRE BECOME FLAWED? AND WHO SHOULD BEAR THE COST OF REPLACEMENT. THIS WAS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN AS THE VEHICLE WOULD END UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH LOSS OF POWER AND CARS BEHIND ME WILL ALMOST RE END MY CAR. IT IS AN INTERMITTENT HAPPENING 6 OR MORE TIME DAILY, WOULD HAPPEN WHEN I WOULD DRIVE FROM A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT. TO REGAIN POWER, YOU HAD TO LET OFF ON THE GAS PEDDLE AND THE DRIVE WOULD RE-ENGAGE. The contact owns a 2004 GMC Yukon. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle started losing motive power. The check engine warning light and another unknown warning light were illuminated, and a message was displayed that the gas port was reducing power. On a separate occasion, the vehicle started to lose motive power and then the vehicle started to shake. The vehicle was losing power and shaking until the vehicle was turned off. The vehicle was restarted and drove normally for six months without failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with throttle body failure; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted three more times with different diagnoses. The vehicle was taken to other independent mechanics however, the cause for the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired for the most recent failure. The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.

MAKING THIS VERY DANGEROUS. THE LAST TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY TRAVELING AT 80 MPH. THE RESULT COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY. I AM NOT SURE WHY GMC HAS DONE NOTHING TO FIX THIS ISSUE. I SAW SEVERAL OTHER BLOGS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I AM THE ORIGINAL AND ONLY OWNER OF THIS TRUCK AND IT HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF. I LOVED MY TRUCK UP UNTIL THESE ISSUES STARTED, PREVIOUS TO THIS THE TRUCK HAD A PARASITIC DRAW THAT AFTER 3 YEARS MY BROTHER FIGURED OUT NOT GM OR ANY OTHER MECHANIC. THAT WAS THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL MODULE FOR THOSE THAT MAY BE EXPERIENCING THIS ISSUE. IS THERE A WAY TO ENCOURAGE GM TO DO A RECALL? I NOW HAVE A USELESS TRUCK SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY. WHILE BACKING OUT OF THE GARAGE, IT WAS OBSERVED THAT I WAS TRAVELING AT A RATE OF 120MPH. I TOOK MY 2004 YUKON TO THE GARAGE ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED (AT A COST OF $800.00). TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC YUKON. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO OPEN THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR FROM THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE, THE LATCH PULLED, BUT THE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN. THE LATCH WOULD REMAIN STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION; THEREFORE, THE DOOR COULD NOT BE OPENED FROM THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT AS WELL. THE CONTACT MUST ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW AND PUSH THE HANDLE BACK INTO PLACE IN ORDER TO EXIT THE VEHICLE WITH THE INTERIOR DOOR LATCH. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION, ALL FOUR DOORS EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE. WHILE AN OCCUPANT WAS SEATED IN THE PASSENGER SEAT, HE LEANED UP AGAINST THE DOOR AND IT OPENED. THE OCCUPANT FELL OUT OF THE VEHICLE, EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR WAS COMPLETELY SHUT AT THE TIME. THE DOORS WOULD NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK. THE VIN WAS UNABLE TO BE ENTERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,000.

I JUST BOUGHT A NEW 2004 GMC YUKON, 2WD. MILES ON IT WAS 188. AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, I DROVE IT HOME WHICH IS ABOUT 10-15 MILES AWAY. AS I GET CLOSE TO HOME, THE BELL IN THE CAR STARTS TO CHIME, THE ROOF LIGHTS TURN ON, AND ACROSS THE ODEMETER READER, IT READS "PASSENGER DOOR AJAR". I PARKED MY CAR AND HAD HIM SHUT THE DOOR AGAIN. AS I DROVE OFF, THE BELL CHIMES, THE LIGHTS ARE STILL ON, AND IT STILL READS "PASSENGER DOOR AJAR". SO I GET OUT AND OPEN AND CLOSE ALL THE DOORS INCLUDING THE TRUNK. SAME PROBLEM. THIS GOES ON EVEN AFTER I GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP. TOLD THE SALES MANAGER THE PROBLEM. HE SAW IT FOR HIMSELF AND TOLD ME TO BRING IT TO THE MECHANICS. WENT TO THE MECHANICS AND THREE OF THEM SAW THE PROBLEM. ONE OF THEM RECOGNIZED IT AND TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A WIRE LOOSE ON THE PASSENGER DOOR. HE CALLED IT AN "AUSCHUWAITER" (SP?). HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE DOOR APART. THE MANGER CALLED IT A "SIMPLE SITUATION" AND THIS IS WHAT I REPLIED, "IT'S NOT "SIMPLE" WHAT IF I HAD DECIDED TO TAKE THAT DRIVE WITH MY 9 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND THE PROBLEM OCCURS. AND IN THE EXCITEMENT, WHILE I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO, SHE UN-BUCKLES HER SEATBELT AND OPENS THE DOOR, FALLS OUT INTO THE FREEWAY, I PANIC AND LOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR. WE CAUSE THIS HUGE TRAFFIC ACCIDENT WITH FATALITIES, MY DAUGHTER COUNTED." MANAGER TOLD ME, IT'S A BIG CAR WITH 100,000 PARTS. NOT ALL OF THEM ARE GOING TO BE PERFECT. 1/5000 WAS HIS ESTIMATE, PROBLEMATIC WISE. THE MECHANIC SAID HE HAD SEEN THIS MANY TIMES ON A GMC, BUT I DID NOT SEE ANY COMPLAINTS FILED SO HERE'S MINE. IT'S JUST BEEN A DAY AFTER I GOT IT REPAIRED BECAUSE THEY HAD TO ORDER THE PART IN ORDER TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WE'LL SEE HOW IT HANDLES NOW. 2004 GMC YUKON XL DENALI SYSTEM STABILIZATION DISABLED WARNING LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY COMES ON. THE DEALER CANNOT REPAIR THIS ISSUE BECAUSE THERE ARE NO DIAGNOSTIC CODES IN THE CAR COMPUTER. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE WARNING LIGHT ON, BUT STILL NO ERROR CODES. ONSTAR RUNS DIAGNOSTICS AND REPORTS NO ERRORS AND TELLS ME TO DRIVE TO THE NEAREST DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS UNSAFE. THIS FIRST OCCURRED IN DECEMBER WHILE THE TRUCK WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, NOW SEVERAL TRIPS TO THE SERVICE SHOP AND IT STILL IS COMING ON. I AM WORKING WITH GMC CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO TRY TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, BUT TO DATE THEY ARE SAYING THEY CAN'T FIX IT BECAUSE THERE ARE NO DIAGNOSTIC CODES. I HAVE ASKED THEM IF THE TRUCK IS SAFE TO DRIVE WITH WARNING LIGHT ON, BUT THEY CANNOT ASSURE ME THAT IT IS. THEY REFUSE TO DOCUMENT ANYTHING IN WRITING ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THE TRUCK. I CALLED MICHELIN AND THEY STATED THERE IS NO RECALL BUT I'VE NEVER HAD OR SEEN ANY TIRES DO THIS BEFORE AND I'M CONCERNED THEY COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE ME TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT, EXPLODE, OR SHRED WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY.

THE ISSUE TEMPORARILY WENT AWAY. I THEN BROUGHT IT BACK ON 12/20/12 WITH THE SAME ISSUE BUT THIS TIME THE CHECK ENGINE WON'T TURN OFF AS A RESULT OF THE REDUCED ENGINE POWER-STABILITY CONTROL DISABLED WARNING. THEY SIMPLY RESET THE WARNING AND THAT WAS IT. TIL THIS DAY, I CONTINUE TO HAVE PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE GOING INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER/STABILITY CONTROL DISABLED. HAD A NEW BATTERY, AND WOULD ONLY TAKE A CHARGE WHEN BYPASSING BATTERY DIRECTLY INTO ENGINE. NOW SOMETHING IS DRAINING BATTERY AND IF I DON'T START AND RUN EVERY TWO DAYS , BATTERY DEAD. While driving on the freeway at 75 mph I felt significant reduction in speed and the rpms went pretty high. It felt as if I had my foot on the accelerator and the brake at the same time. There was also a burnt smell. After a few minutes it went back to normal. This continued to happen sporadically so I took it to my mechanic he inspected the vehicle could not find an issue he also ran a code scan. No codes pertaining to this issue only knocker sensor and O2 sensor. I replaced those anyway. Then a few days later I was driving to work at it happened again going about 55 mph it felt like the transmission had downshift to a very low gear there was smoke and really bad burning smell. I pulled over immediately and called my mechanic. He towed the vehicle to his shop still could not find a problem. After several months of sitting I had to drive the vehicle home. After approximately 5 miles there was smoke and small flames coming from behind the front drivers side wheel. My mechanic checked the brake, it had engaged without me pressing the pedal and stuck. Now we are having issues getting brake fluid to the rear brakes. Possibly the proportioning valve.

My kids and I was on the interstate and all of sudden my yukon reduce engine power.Dropping to 30 in a speed zone of 70.I was very afraid for our safety and appreciate there concerns for reducing engine power to save the truck,but that's very dangerous. So I paid to replace the throttle body and gas pedal cause that was the codes for the problem. But it's still doing the same thing and I don't have money to keep buying parts.Plus it a gm problem and I really need some help with the fixture..

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR FILTER FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, THE BG FUEL INDUCTION SERVICED NEEDED TO BE DONE, THE FRONT BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL SERVICE NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

THUS, CAR SEAT HEATER SOME HOW TURNED ITSELF ON, REMAINED ON, OVERHEATED, AND CAUGHT SEAT CUSHION MATERIAL ON FIRE. LUCKILY, CAR WAS PARKED TURNED OFF COMPLETELY (EXCEPT FOR SEAT HEATER!), LOCKED AND UNOCCUPIED. FURTHER, FIRE WAS DISCOVERED BEFORE SPREADING, ENGULFING CAR AND ENDANGERING OTHERS IN THE BUSY SCHOOL PARKING LOT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT NOTICED A LEAK UNDER THE HOOD OF HIS VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED HIM TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER AND THEY STATED THAT THE HYDRO BOOST FAILED. THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO PAY $861 TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC INFORMED HIM THAT HE COULD HAVE RUN OUT OF POWER STEERING AND BRAKE FLUID, AND THE SEAL FAILED AND WAS LEAKING. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN ON AT LEAST 12 OCCASIONS, WITH REPEAT VISITS FOR SAME PROBLEM USUALLY THE SAME DAY. MY CAR HAS GIVEN OFF NUMEROUS CODES WHICH INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: B0026, B0040, B0041, B0043, B2470, B0229, B3770. I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO 3 SEPARATE DEALERSHIPS WHERE THEY HAVE REPLACED HARNESSES, WIRES, CONNECTORS ETC. NONE OF THIS SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED. I HAVE FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS ALSO HAVE HAD NY HORN BLOWING INTERMITTENTLY. I HAVE CALLED ONSTAR TO PERFORM DIAGNOSTICS ON MY VEHICLE AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE CAR HAS NUMEROUS CODES COMING UP, AND THAT I SHOULD NOT DRIVE MY VEHICLE UNTIL CORRECTED, BECAUSE THE AIR BAG MAY DEPLOY ON ITS OWN OR IT MAY NOT DEPLOY IF MY CAR IS WRECKED. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN MY CAR, BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE AN EXTRA $40,000 TO BUY A NEW ONE. 9-28-04: MY 2004 GMC YUKON HAD 22643 MILES ON IT. I WENT TO GET IN THE CAR THAT MORNING TO START IT UP AND IT WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. MECHANIC STATED THAT MY FUEL PUMP HAD WENT OUT. I WAS TOLD THAT THE FUEL PUMPS ON THESE VEHICLES WERE FAULTY. THEY REPLACED MY FUEL PUMP. 5-24-05: MY YUKON HAD 50012 MILES ON IT. I GOT IN THE VEHICLE THAT MORNING TO START IT AND IT WOULD NOT START. ONCE AGAIN IT HAD TO BE TOWED INTO THE DEALERSHIP. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT MY FUEL PUMP WENT OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. THIS TIME IT COST US APPROXIMATELY $900.00 TO REPAIR. THEY INFORMED US THAT THE NEWEST FUEL PUMP HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY AND IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN WE WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. WHEN MY HUSBAND ASKED WHY THE 2ND FUEL PUMP THEY PUT ON DID NOT HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY, WE WERE TOLD THAT GM DOESN'T WARRANTY ANY WARRANTY PARTS.
