While driving and sometimes even when in reverse the stereo screen blacks out and a popping sound comes from the speakers. Sometimes the screen resets after a few minutes, and other times it won’t come back on until the car is shut off and restarted.

The audio system has loud crackling and popping noise that happens intermittently, causing the audio to stop working. Honda has issued a recall for 2020 models, noting that the noise is caused by loose or damaged connectors in the MOST (Media Oriented System Transport) network, which is part of the infotainment system and also powers the backup camera. The official recall remedy involves replacing the wiring harness to fix this issue, though some owners have reported the problem persists after repeated attempts at correction. The noise is very loud and distracting while driving. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms were noticed.

Consistent electrical issues manifested with infotainment system losing connectivity including FM radio, Bluetooth, etc during hot days only. Thia implies increase risk of fire due ti electrical system overheat. It appears many complaints have been made related to the electrical system on Honda pilot year 2019.

My 2019 Honda Pilot backup camera is not functioning properly. It has a green and sometimes purple screen and I cannot see objects when backing up. This creates a very dangerous situation. I brought this vehicle to Lia Honda in Enfield, CT for another recall. I informed them of the problem with the backup camera and was told it isn't part of the recall. I would have to bring the car back at another time for evaluation and would be charged their hourly fee. I was a loyal Honda employee in Windsor Locks, CT for almost 25 years. I retired in 2009. I know my vehicle should be considered in the recall and I would like it taken care of before an accident happens.

I was driving home at around midnight on the interstate, when my radio stopped working and digital dash screen just turned off. The radio screen said something like network communication lost (I was going 75 so I couldn’t completely read what it said), and the dash where my tachometer and speed usually are, was off; the only information about the car I had was gas level and general engine temperature, so physical gauges or the fuel economy indicator were not affected. All headlights, climate, and engine or cruise control were not affected. It rebooted after about 10 seconds, as if the car was just started up, and everything was back to normal. I was coming from a work event, so I had a coworker with me and he noticed this was occurring, unsettling to be a passenger and all necessary information about the vehicle on an interstate was gone. The vehicle did have a recall to address crackle noise in the speakers, which was a symptom of the MOST bus failure. But since then, the crackle hasn’t disappeared, the backup camera has failed on occasion, and now this, just once in ~15000 miles, all link through the same MOST bus. Will be taking to the dealer again ASAP to see if they can resolve the issue for good, but it seems unacceptable that an infotainment failure could also affect the dashboard if I am understanding it.

The contact noticed an abnormal sound. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road and turned off. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was unofficially diagnosed with internal engine failure. The contact was advised to tow the vehicle to the dealer for assistance. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and was unofficially diagnosed with internal engine failure. The contact was advised that the engine needed to be dismantled for a complete diagnostic test. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The contact was informed that the case would not be escalated until the complete diagnostic test was performed. The failure mileage was approximately 114,300.

Below issues has been going on for a months now, latest was yesterday (11/30/2025). The rear-view camera image not appearing on the display (a safety hazard). Audio and display flickering or the entire screen going black. Error messages like "MOST Net off" or general communication errors. “Camera system failure” Backup camera failing to operate when in reverse. Recall not showing for our vehicle even though recall shows its for the 2019+ models. Online talk points to a camera issue and not a wiring one.

Our when using auto idle our car, and we press the break our car will sometimes get locked in park and we cannot switch gears. We have been stuck in traffic several times with 3 children in the back. I called honda to open a case and escalated to a supervisor, Case #15600713 and was told because the car was out of warranty. However the previous owner of this vehicle did bring it into honda with our same complaint and they were not able to find the issue. When we went the dealership they told us this happened. So what we know is that the previous owner DID come into the dealership with this existing complaint and honda was not able to help him. We were told we must replace the entire transmission for 9k on a car this is only from 2019 with only 78,000 miles on it. No previous accidents. This is obviously a factory issue. According to lemons laws it appears we have a right to sue because of this safety concern, and the company not standing by its product when it’s clear there is a problem with the auto idle. the transmission light comes on, warns us to pull over when possible, or will just completely lock us into park. The solenoid is not responsible for this auto idle issue. We turned off the auto idle and when we manually do this every time we drive, the car does not stop and the light does not come on.

The backup camera on my 2019 Honda Pilot stopped showing a clear backup picture. Now when I backup the picture on the screen is green and purple. The picture on the screen is very poor quality.

The contact had taken the vehicle to a parts store where a handheld scanner retrieved DTC: P219B; which indicated a failure with the fuel injectors. The contact had scheduled an appointment for the vehicle to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) at a local dealer. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer where the fuel pump was replaced. The contact was informed by the dealer that poor quality fuel had caused the fuel injectors to fail. The dealer replaced the high-pressure fuel feed pipe and the injectors. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact related the failure of the fuel injectors to the fuel pump replacement under NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The failure mileage was 60,400.

My car is very hesitant while driving, it pulsates as well. I can be driving at 65mph and next thing I’m doing 45-50 and the engine is sputtering and the dashboard lights up with check engine lights.I know there’s a recall on the fuel injectors for the model year I own but mine is not included in the recall which I think it should be. Scanned the codes and got P0430 and P219B which is the fuel injectors as well as raw fuel making its way back to the catalytic converter. I’ve read of thousands of Honda owners with the same issues of being left high and dry by Honda just because they refuse to include vin numbers that should have been in the original recall. I really hope this recall can be expanded as my car has been babied with only 49K miles on it. Thank you

Fuel Injector issue - diagnosed at Mike's Automotive, a NAPA AutoCare Center by ASE certified technician. Codes were P0430 and P219B which indicates fuel injector issue. The Emmissions System Problem check engine light goes on and off at random times, reduced fuel economy by almost 5 mpg, hard shifting, stalling. All symptoms are in line with the recall for 2019 Honda Pilots however my VIN is not included in the recall, but I believe it should be. Honda wants me to bring my vehicle to a Honda Dealership to get diagnosed, diagnostic is my cost, though I've already paid for a diagnostic at a different repair shop.

My vehicle keeps pulling up a code intermittently to do with fuel injector issues. The mechanic tells me that it is a fuel injector issue needing replacement. There is a recall for my model of 2019 Pilots, but Honda is saying my VIN is not included in this recall. I find it highly unlikely that this is related due to my fuel injectors are messed up and the machine checking for my engine light issue is pulling the same codes and issues that are covered by the recall on other Pilots. It is very evident that my vehicle and other owners' pilots are having the same fuel injector issues but are also being told their VIN is not covered under this recall. This seems to be a much bigger issue than they are admitting or including in the recall, and this should definitely be reconsidered due to the costly repairs this is for owners experiencing this same manufacture problem.

Fuel Injectors failed after being replaced less than 50,000 miles ago. This is part of a larger Honda issue noted on Bulletin 21-010. It is causing my car to not accelerate appropriately which is dangerous when on the road. Honda inspected the vehicle and found code P219B. This after finding code P0430 in April 2025 causing me to have to replace catalytic coverters. The emissions system light turned on for each of these issues. Please include my VIN in the safety notice since it is clearly having the same issues as all the other 2019 Honda Pilots.

The car keeps getting a 219a error code intermittently. The dealer states it is the fuel injectors needing replacement. There is a service bulletin for my model of 2019 Pilot , with a warranty extension to 10 years or 150,000 miles but Honda is saying my VIN is exclusionary and want affected. Except, my fuel injectors are bad with the same code and issues as covered by the warranty extension. It seems quite clear that my vehicle and so many other pilot owners with them from this generation are having the same fuel injector issue but being told their VIN is not effected. One needs only to do a quick search online to see that this is bogus and a more widespread problem than honda is taking responsibility for.

The Auto Idle Stop feature on my 2019 Honda Pilot is a critical safety defect. The engine repeatedly fails to restart automatically after the Idle Stop engages at a complete stop, resulting in the vehicle stalling in traffic. This is a major crash risk, not a minor inconvenience. I have experienced this dangerous failure multiple times while waiting to make a left turn in busy intersections. When I release the brake to proceed, the engine remains stalled, leaving my vehicle immobilized directly in the path of oncoming traffic and creating a high risk of a side-impact or rear-end collision. On one occasion, the engine stalled as I was attempting to clear a red light, leaving the Pilot stationary and exposed. I manually disable this feature every time I drive because of the known failure risk, and the stall only occurs when I occasionally forget this essential step. Replacing the battery, as recommended by the dealership, did not resolve the high rate of failure. Honda's existing fixes are inadequate, and this defect puts vehicle occupants and other drivers at serious risk of injury or death.

My 2019 Hoda Pilot Touring often suddenly changed to N (Neutral), not moving when I release the brake pedal on the freeway when traffic is slow (stop and go) or when at the stop at the intersession. I had to hit (shift) to D (Drive) or sometimes it was getting worse, I had to hit Restart button to resume driving. Many times, it was a nervous moment when the cars from behind were too close and unexpecting my car was stop. It's hard to convince the car dealer it is a real problem when I brought the car for other recall problems. They only worked on the other recalls and verbally advised just to see if the fixes on the recall would fix the problem I experienced since there is no recall related the problem I described.

Sometimes when I stop in traffic, the idle-stop feature doesn't turn the engine back on. Engine fails to restart on its own from a complete stop at a traffic light or road intersection with the Auto Start/Stop function engaged. This has happened multiple times. I try to remember to disable the idle-stop feature but don't always remember to.

Several times now when stopped at a red light, my vehicle's idle-stop features turns of the car and fails to restart when taking my foot off the brake. The screen behind the steering wheel says to take the vehicle out of neutral and restart but it is still in drive, the battery light also comes on. I have to put it in park (after putting on my hazards because there are cars behind me), turn off the vehicle and restart it. As far as I know there are no recalls for this as of yet.

POWER TRAIN

Rear differential unit failed at about 66,000 miles without warning. During normal driving, the dashboard warning light came on indicating AWD warning. It was raining at the time the warning came on. The Pilot onboard computer did disable the AWD and place the vehicle in front wheel drive only mode. The next morning again the AWD warning came on when put into drive and was raining again. Driving again in the afternoon the AWD warning did not come on and there was no rain. I could not see any physical signs of an issue. The Pilot was just in for two recalls: one for backup camera wiring harness on 8/27/2025 and fuel pump on 9/8/2025. About two weeks later on 9/24/2025 was when the first warning came on. The Pilot was taken to the dealer and was reported that the differential pump, sub harness, and differential all needed to be replaced. I informed the dealer that the two recalls were performed and the warning coming on during wet weather. The dealer stated the failure was not caused by the recalls. In order to make to Pilot safe to drive again, I had the dealer replace the parts.

My 2019 Honda Pilot was surging when it went up a hill or was at a steady speed on the highway. I was concerned that the car would stall. The dealer confirmed/reproduced the problem and called it a torque converter shudder. Per Honda's instructions they changed the transmission fluid 3 times and did a software update. There were no warning lights. This is a known problem with a very specific fix that is recommended by Honda. It should be a recall and the repair covered by Honda. It costs me over $400.00 to get the repair done at my dealer-Washington PA Honda.

DRIVING IN THE WOODLANDS AND AT A STOP SIGN WHEN THE AUTO-STOP FEATURE ACTIVATED AND WHEN LIGHT CHANGED TO GREEN THE CAR WOULD NOT AUTOMATICALLY RESTART, I HAD TO PHYSICALLY RESTART THE VEHICLE BY PUSHING THE START BUTTON WITH THE BRAKE ENGAGED. VERY ANNOYING! AND A BIG SAFETY ISSUE.

While driving on Highway 35 in Olathe traffic came to a crawl and vehicle automatic idle caused vehicle to stop. Luckily vehicles were slow and was not hit in the rear. Had to place vehicle in Park and restart. Several other times while at stop light vehicle just shuts down and fails to restart. We are just manually turning off auto idle on every start. If we forget the vehicle will start to shut down and we quickly turn off. Safety concerns while having grandkids in vehicle so we usually just take the 2014 Honda Odyssey which does not have this feature. ON going problem.

The transmission surges while accelerating and cruising. Honda issued a service bulletin, 17-014 issued 2/27/2018, to fix the problem for the 2016-2017 models. Mine is a 2019 with the same transmission as the 2016-17 Pilot, the 6AT. The solution to the issue was the same as the 2016-17 Pilot, flushing the transmission fluid three times but now Honda will not issue a service bulletin for the same problem on the the 2019 model so I had to pay for it.

The contact stated that the failure had occurred while driving on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and it was determined that the multi-view cameras were misaligned. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. There was an internal failure of the multi-purpose camera located behind the windshield rear-view mirror. It was inspected by Russ Darrow Honda and the failure code diagnosed. The camera needed to be replaced. Service included a video from the dealer and the defective camera was so hot he could barely hold it while wearing gloves. This caused the Lane-Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Collision Mitigation and Road Departure Mitigation Systems to fail, and the dummy lights on the dash to warn of the system failures. There was no accident or injury resulting yet, but none of the advanced safety features were operable. We have since learned that this camera is a common failure in Honda vehicles, and we feel there needs to be a recall. This critical and expensive safety feature should not be failing this frequently, or in vehicles this new.

The ACC, LKAS, Collision Mitigation, High beam, lane departure warnings light errors are on. This happened 2 years ago and Honda wanted me to pay $1,200 to replace all sensors of this car. Of course I just left it. It's not worth the hassel. However, for a car bought brand new in 2019 to have these systems fail in 2023, and for this to be a main component advertised for consumers to buy vehicles, it is not good. We pay thousands of dollars for a car because it has these safety features only for it to fail within 4 years and then expect the customer to pay over $1,000 to fix, is simply not right.

During normal operation of the vehicle, the dashboard information display on the gauge cluster lit up displaying the following error messages: Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Lane Keeping Assist Problem, Auto High-Beam Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem. Additionally there is a fixed "dash light" that is showing "BRAKE SYSTEM" illuminated in amber color. After research I have found that Honda issued a TSB for other vehicles with their sensing system for the same issue and referenced the high-mounted mono camera on the windshield. This issue extends to the 2019 Pilot Elite that I own and significantly reduces the safety features of this vehicle.

When driving long distances (10+ miles), the entertainment system suddenly goes black and shows an error message that says “Network Communication Lost. MOST Net Off.” This includes the CarPlay/navigation system, backup camera, etc. which causes distractions, navigation challenges, and impacts safety when happening mid-drive. It takes between 30 seconds and 3 minutes to re-boot. It typically happens multiple times during long drives (approximately every 5-10 minutes) which becomes very dangerous as dealing with this issue shifts attention away from driving.

The rear camera has suddenly changed to a rainbow effect and is very difficult to distinguish details related to be safe view it is designed to display. There was a recall related to the cable connection of the rear camera which is not related to this new color change issue. Honda dealership only offers to replace camera not under a warranty.

The reverse camera suddenly started displaying distorted colors on approximately 1/3 of the screen. Turning the vehicle on and off has no impact. The previous recall for Fakra service cable replacement had no impact. The vehicle is garaged at home and has not been in high heat or direct sunlight for an excessive amount of time. From an internet search, this seems to be a common issue in 2019 Honda Pilots.

Dealer diagnostic performed and found that the multipurpose camera internal electronic failure has occurred (report attached). This camera controls the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), automatic headlights and high beams, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Collision Mitigation System, Road Departure Mitigation System. This issue first began in March 2023 and occurs all of the time. I brought the vehicle to the dealership to be inspected. The warning lights and dings occur constantly throughout my ride. I have attached a link to a video that I had recorded and uploaded through Youtube, due to the size of the file. [XXX] Dealer quote states $1579, plus tax for camera replacement and proper aiming. This seems to be a common issue with the 2016-2020 model of the Honda Pilot per online chat boards. The price of repair among people that have either received a quote or had the camera replaced is from $1500-$1800. As this appears to be a manufacturing issue and not due to normal wear and tear, this should not be the responsibility of the owner. Received five warning lights at idle. Adaptive cruise control problem, Lane keeping assist problem, collision mitigation system problem, road departure mitigation system problem, auto high beam problem. None of these safety features work in my vehicle. I have taken this to the dealership to troubleshoot the issue and they confirm that the issue is there and said that it was the multi-purpose camera on the rear view mirror. This will end up costing around $2,000 to repair. Without these safety systems, my family Is obviously not as safe... As a consumer we pay extra for all the engineering and the physical components to have these safety features. Otherwise, I could have saved $20,000 and bought a 2000s model suburban that doesn't have these safety features.

My cruise control stopped working and all my lane assist stopped working. My front camera stopped working. I went to the Honda dealership, and it was going to be over $2000 to replace. The car is only 6 years old, it has had no accidents or problems. I’m incredibly upset that this already is a problem, and because i didn’t buy an extended warranty it’s on me to fix.

The manufacturer was not yet notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V431000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION). I am experiencing two ongoing issues with my vehicle that have not been resolved despite recent recall repairs (fuel pump and hood striker). 1. Acceleration Stutter Issue When accelerating, the car shakes/stutters before finally picking up speed. I initially thought the fuel pump recall repair would fix this, but the problem persists. This affects vehicle performance and safety, especially when merging into traffic or crossing intersections. 2. Electrical / Computer System Malfunctions All Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) malfunction and display error messages onscreen, preventing these systems from functioning. Since both issues persist and could pose safety risks, I am reporting this as a potential defect for further investigation. Since these issues are not detailed for my vehicle, but do seem to be occurring I other models, I don't think it's right for me to have to payout of pocket to fix it when other models with the same issue get covered.

1ST OCCURENCE: 45000 miles on vehicle. I was exiting a busy ramp from [XXX] to Fort Oglethorpe, Ga and the Idle stop caused the engine to stall and not re-engage upon lifting the break. I was almost hit from the rear. The vehicle had power but would not restart. I had to wait for it to shut itself down and get it to restart. 2ND OCCURENCE: 62000 miles on vehicle. Almost a year and a half from the first occurrence-I was on a very busy [XXX] and came to stop at a red light. AGAIN, the idle stop caused the engine to stall and not restart. The light turned green, and I immediately turned my flashers on. I had a child in the backseat. Cars still began honking and going around us, leaving us to potentially get smashed from behind on a road that many people travel at 55mph plus! Two nice people stopped and were going to try and push us out of the road. The vehicle would not remain in neutral and allow itself to be rolled. It automatically throws itself back into park. It eventually shut all the way down and was able to be restarted. I no longer feel safe driving my children in the vehicle as this is a HUGE safety concern for busy areas and intersections. This feature can be disengaged with a button but has to be done every time the car is re-started, this button can also easily be pushed at ANY time by accident and the feature would re-engage. My 2019 Honda Pilot Touring (7 passenger) has a defect with the auto stop-start system that is a major (and scary!) safety concern. On a handful of occasions over the past couple of years, when stopped at a traffic light (and the auto stop-start feature engages) the engine will fair to restart. My wife has complained that this happened to her several times, and finally this week I was in the car to witness it for myself. The car went from drive to neutral ON ITS OWN, instruments began flashing, the "i" indicator came on, and we couldn't get the car back into drive. We had to turn the car all the way off and back on in order to get it back into drive. I took a picture of the dash and will upload it here. I've read online that this might be caused by a cold battery; however, this incident occurred on a warm September day in the southeastern US. Also, we've had the battery on this car replaced a couple of times (a whole other issue that puzzles me). This is scary and dangerous in the middle of a busy intersection! In fact, my wife now refuses to drive the car, so we've switched cars for the time being. We were going to give this car to our daughter in a few years when she can drive, but that's definitely not happening now....way too dangerous! I'm at a loss for what the next steps are and would really appreciate some guidance. I'm taking the car back to the dealership tomorrow for diagnostics, but in the past they've suggested they can't replicate it so it's not a problem. Ugh. Please help.

The Fuel Pump was issued a recall that i had replaced, but due to it not operating properly it caused my high pressure fuel pump in the engine to malfunction as well. This has been conveniently left out of the recall for fuel pump and the dealership wouldn't agree to look into it further.

My vehicle has stalled twice since purchased a little over year ago. When stopped at a stop light the auto start/stop function failed to re-engage. I had to put the car back in park and restart the vehicle both times before I could drive forward. There were no warning lights either time this has happened.

Honda Pilot 2019 idle stop system is defective. The engine's failure to automatically restart after shutting down poses significant safety risk. When at a red traffic light, the engine will turn off to save fuel. At this point, the car is supposed to restart when you release the brake. Instead, the idle-stop system periodically fails. It will take the car out of drive and place it in neutral. At this point, the driver has to put the car in park then restart the car. This process can take 30 or so seconds, at best, creating a very unsafe road condition as traffic is flowing. This prolonged restart process poses a significant safety risk to both the occupants of the vehicle and other road users.

The air conditioner system has stopped blowing cold a/c air. Honda service says its an internal failure of the compressor and the entire system needs to be replaced at the cost of $5,500. Without working a/c, the front windshield defogger does not work. This is an issue in the humid southeast. Visibility issues persist every night when attempting to drive. Honda rejected a goodwill claim for repair stating that my car at 44,000 miles is outside their 36,000 mile warranty for A/C and that we have not been with one dealership for enough service history. The car has been exclusively serviced at honda dealerships, but we are a military family, thus unable to stay in one location for service due to military orders. Without a front windshield defog system, the car is unsafe to drive due to poor visibility.

The driver side and passenger side sun visors hinge mechanism does not operate properly. The visors do not fold up completely and are difficult to fold down to block sunlight. This is a known problem with Honda Pilot sun visors. I purchased my 2019 Honda Pilot new.

In 2022, in traffic on I35 in Temple, TX, i was in "Drive" and my car went automatically to Neutral and I could not get it out of neutral or turn my car on and off. My two children were in the car and had cars moved, I would have been clobbered. I finally got my car to turn off after several tries, but it would not turn on. I waited a a minute and tried to turn it on again and after several attempts, it turned back on and traffic began to move so I did not have to stop and brake again. This same issue happened at a stop light a month ago and I could not move my car. I did not hit anything in my car, i did not shift it to neutral, it automatically did this on it's own. I finally turned the car off and after many attempts was able to get it back on, put it in drive, and move the car out of the intersection. The automatic engine shut off also comes on and off in my car without me touching anything. it works sometimes and it doesn't. This issue is a total safety concern and should it happen again, i may not be so lucky with other vehicles. Please help with this recall on my VIN.

car stalled and turned off in the middle of the intersection when trying to accelerate from a complete stop at a red light. the traffic behind me almost ran into the back of my car due to the sudden stop and it taking multiple tries to get the car to restart. this has happened multiple times starting only a few months after buying the car brand new in 2018. It is very dangerous. every time I take it or have it towed to the to the dealership they say nothing is wrong with it but it is not normal for a car to have this issue

The auto start stop feature in my car appears very weak. I believe the dealer replaced the battery once early on and then I have had to replace the battery at my own expense again. Now, after a new battery, it is still appearing weak. I believe this feature is draining the batteries and causing a safety issue as my car seems to be delayed or struggles when trying to start back up. The auto start stop also was not working properly when I purchased the vehicle and was “fixed” right after I purchased the car.

On May 27, 2013, while approaching a traffic light controlled intersection, I applied the vehicle brakes (depressed the brake pedal) with no response. My vehicle speed was slow enough to allow me to make a right turn at the intersection without damage to my vehicle or others in the vicinity. Within a few seconds (less than 5) the brakes started responding correctly with no subsequent occurrence, to date.

After only 76K miles the ADAS stopped working. Honda Sense safety features no longer work. Honda dealership diagnosed the problem and said the ADAS camera needed to be replaced. The car is in excellent condition. It was never in an accident, windshield in perfect condition. Up to date with its scheduled maintenance.

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this complaint through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding a serious and unresolved safety-related defect on my 2019 Honda Pilot (VIN: [XXX] ]). The vehicle’s front camera system failed, disabling essential safety features including Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Collision Mitigation Braking. These systems are part of Honda’s Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and are integral to safe vehicle operation. Their failure constitutes a critical safety defect, not a routine maintenance issue. Misrepresentation by American Honda I was initially assigned to a case manager named Christian at American Honda. During our recorded phone conversations, Christian falsely claimed that the discount I received from the dealership was provided by American Honda, even though the dealership is an independent franchisee and American Honda has no control or direct relationship over the dealership. Upon direct inquiry, the dealership confirmed that the discount was offered solely through my business account and my relationship with them and had no connection to American Honda. When I requested written confirmation of this claim, American Honda refused to provide any documentation, despite the fact that all conversations were recorded by them. These recordings contain critical evidence of misrepresentation and should be reviewed as part of this dispute. If necessary, I am prepared to request that these recordings be subpoenaed for formal review. Ongoing Safety Concerns Prior to the complete failure of the camera, I experienced multiple false collision warnings, including dashboard alerts, steering wheel vibration, and automatic braking — even when vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction and posed no threat. These false activations were not only alarming but dangerous, and they indicate a pattern of malfunction in the camera system long before its final failure. Vehicle would brake suddenly. Then shortly thereafter, the collision mitigation system error appeared on the dash. Honda dealership says the camera no longer works and the entire system needs to be replaced. The fact that the camera stopped working spontaneously is concerning.

Dash lights came on indicating that auto high beams, lane keep assist, forward collision, adaptive cruise control, and braking system where not working properly. Hello, I have owned my 2019 Pilot for almost 6 years. From day one, I have had ongoing issues including over 12 situations in which my vehicle would not restart at stoplights, 4-way stops or other areas (my driveway, gas station etc.). I have had the vehicle jump started multiple times by my extended warranty company, my husband and neighbor and towed to the dealer. My most recent stall when not even let me turn on my hazards as my vehicle completely died at the stoplight. I have called 911 multiple times to protect me from being rear-ended. I fear for my life driving the vehicle. My kids refuse to also drive the vehicle. Honda does not have any answers for the fix. There are over 1,000 complaints from vehicle owners. Let's do something before someone is rear-ended and killed! Look at my service history! My car is a lemon, and has lost value. I deserve peace of mind driving this vehicle and compensation for this never ending nightmare.

At random times, but seemingly becoming a more frequent occurence, when the stop/start system engages & shuts the vehicle down at idle (at a stop light for example), the vehicle will not restart for a period of time afterwards. This has also happened on the highway multiple times in traffic in which the vehicle will not start for a short period of time. This is a big safety issue and I was almost rear-ended a couple of times in those highway cases. When the problem happens, the lighting on the meter (indicator lights) will randomly flash & the clicking sound from the blinker will continuously go on/off during the timeframe of when the vehicle will not restart. I've raised this concern to Honda multiple times with no support coming back from them since they can't re-create the issue.

In the past I have reported an issue with the auto stop to Price Honda. They sent me away saying nothing was wrong. Last night my car died while coming to a stop. No warning. No engine check lights. The emergency flashers wouldn't work nor doors or windows and I was stuck in the middle of the road with my children without Hazzard lights. No way to put car into neutral unless you have a special tool which even the Honda dealership couldn't help me with. This was not disclosed when we bought the car and was stuck in high traffic for over 2 hours until a mechanic came and finally got my car to start and move to side by switching the battery along with other stuff. He stated the battery should not have died in Drive and something is wrong. I see this is a known issue when looking at your website. I do not feel safe driving this Honda pilot. It can shut down at any time without warning and leave us stranded. Not being able to move into neutral in its self is safety Hazzard especially with no hazard lights. Price Honda [XXX] was very rude and brushed me off telling me no one is going to call me back over this. However their manager [XXX] called me shortly after and even acknowledged the known issue and said could take years to recall. This is not ok and why wasn't any of this disclosed. We should know that we need a tool (and know how to do it since in the engine) to save us if our car breaks down so we can at least get to side of road! I see This issue is being investigated by you, not sure why it was not disclosed especially when I already reported to Honda. My kids and I could have died yesterday. Single lane road no shoulders no flashers and cars flying past us. Not ok especially for this type of car that I bought brand new! I need assistance with this please before someone does get hurt. Start / Stop and Engine failure. When I have the start/stop feature enabled there have been numerous occasions where the car has stalled and will not restart. This has happened in critical traffic situations and has almost caused multiple accidents and injury. In addition, the engine has cut off while driving through parking lots and stopping for pedestrians; during this time I need to reset the entire car to get it to start back up while stuck in the middle of the street. One other occasions the start stop has failed where the car does restart but the entire car resents and delays me from moving until this is finished. I have taken the vehicle back to the dealer to review and they say everything is working as designed.

I was coming to a stop at a red light and the car shut off . It flashed a transmission issue and emissions issue on the dash. I tried to restart and it would start but not move or let me shift into gear leaving me stranded in the middle of a busy road. It took for an officer to remove my battery cable and then reconnect for me to be able to move the vehicle out of the road and into a parking lot. I had the car towed to the nearest Honda dealership where they saw the messages on the dash. While they test drove it all errors went away and they can’t locate an issue.

Said 2019 Honda Pilot, maintained per Honda recommended maintenance schedule, experienced engine knock and internal damage at 100k miles. Investigation by Honda Certified Maintenance (dealership) identified a misfire diagnostic code for cylinder #2, and observed visible metallic debris in the engine oil indicative of bearing failure. Honda Certified Maintenance suggested internal engine damage and recommended engine/motor replacement. This is premature failure of 2019 Honda Pilot engine, presumably "not included" in the "affected VIN" population of Honda Service Bulletin #24-001.

Vehicle is shutting down at red lights / stop signs; when this happens engine goes into idle mode. But pressing the gas pedal to resume travel, vehicle immediately shuts down. The vehicle needs to be turned off, and restarted. Restart is not always successful on first attempt, leaving vehicle stranded in congested traffic areas until it the issue clears. This type of event has had more than one occurrence.

Reported to dealer twice and could not be replicated. They just tell me they have never heard of this problem. While at a traffic light the vehicle either shifts into neutral, park or second gear. Sometimes I press the accelerator and it does not go even though I’m in Drive. I gave up with the dealer but it is scary when people behind you honk and I could be rear ended because I’m scrambling to press the transmission buttons or restarting. A few incidents, I had to turn off and restart. I have learned if it is running and in Drive but does not go, I press the drive button several times to make it go or turn off and restart in lines of traffic. This vehicle has bells and whistles but falls short with engine and transmission. I currently own 5 Honda vehicles and 12 Hondas over the years. This vehicle is the one I feel the least secure in being dependable. It has 16,000 miles on it and has been problematic since approx 7,500 miles.

MOST Net Off recall was repaired on 9/21/24. On all of the following dates, the same issue, Network Communication Lost and MOST Net Off would appear on the screen with it rebooting itself anywhere between 5 minutes and 1 hour. Dates are: 10/18/24, 1/16/25, 1/17/25, 1/29/25, 1/30/25 on two occasions, 2/7/25, 2/10/25, 2/12/25, 2/17/25, 2/18/25, and 2/28/25. Finally on 4/9/25, the same situation occurred without any reboot and now the network screen does not work at all. I am unable to use handsfree phones but more importantly, the backup camera and approaching vehicle notification no longer works due to this screen not working.

rearview camera image is blurry and rainbow colored (mainly purple and green). This is unsafe because I cannot see clearly out of my camera. Yes. We have had it in the shop for oil changes, tire rotation etc, where they could see problems with the camera image as well. We did not pursue them to fix at this time, because noticed there was a recall out for the rear camera in 2019 Pilots. Wondering why our 2019 Pilot does not show up for a camera recall? The 2019 Honda Pilot is receiving a Camera System Failure regarding the rear camera. The info screen shows a black screen where once the rear camera image was. I am putting myself, pedestrians, and other motorists at risk by not being able to have a clear view when driving the car in reverse. The Honda dealership confirmed the problem, telling me I needed to replace the camera and that this issue was NOT part of the current recall for this car regarding the rear camera. It has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others regarding my specific vehicle. There was no warning or anything prior to the camera system failing. It worked fine one day, then did not work again the next.

The backup camera image is distorted and the coloring is wrong (green and purple) and you cannot see the image from the camera. When researching online, there are numerous reports of 2019 Honda Pilot with similar issues. This situation happens when moving in reverse when the backup camera is on.

I was driving late at night and noticed that the headlights were not lighting the road. Upon inspection, I observed excessive amounts of moisture had accumulated on the inside of both headlight assemblies and was refracting the headlight beam resulting in extremely poor visibility placing myself and other drivers at risk for an accident and injury. It is likely that the moisture entered the headlight assemblies while I was driving in a severe thunderstorm the prior day. Much to my surprise, I learned that this is a known issue to Honda. Please see the attachment Service Bulletin number 23-024, titled “Moisture in the Headlights”. Upon review of the technical information from Honda, I learned that the cause of the moisture in the headlight is a broken seal that resulted from improper assembly of the vehicle. Please see the Service Bulletin for a technical explanation of the root cause and corrective action.

LED headlight has been collecting condensation, presumed by mechanic to be from improper venting of the headlight. Possibly related to Honda technical service bulletin regarding hood positioning keeping headlights from venting properly. The chronic moisture caused the headlight to fail and stop working while driving at night, without warning. This caused a sudden impairment to visibility, creating a safety risk for those in the vehicle and others in the road.

I have had multiple situations where the auto idle has engaged and the vehicle has died. Most of the time the car restarts by holding down the ignition button, but twice it's required a jump. I have taken this into honda multiple times and they've told me they can't recreate the problem, but it consistently happens to me. The most recent time was at a high speed intersection and almost resulted in a serious collision. The below question asked how many miles on my vehicle. We first noticed this at about 25000 miles, but most recently occurred today at 80000 miles.

This 2019 Honda Pilot Elite has an Engine Auto Shut Off that engages when stopped at traffic lights, stopped traffic, etc. It can be turned off manually each time after starting the car ignition but when it is not - it will engage in these stopped positions. Recently, the Auto Shut Off has been engaging and the vehicle will completely shut off and go into Neutral. This has happened to us at stop lights with some frequency but has recently happened two times in stopped traffic on Interstate 95. We cannot get the vehicle to start back up without completely shutting off the ignition and going through the restart sequence. It is not an immediate fix and we are in a compromised and unsafe position on a highway without being able to start the car quickly.

Auto engine shut off will turn off engine at stoplight but fail to restart engine when brake is released. Extremely unsafe. It has happened multiple times and each time we are afraid there will be an accident because we are sitting ducks and not accelerating when traffic expects us to.

Backup camera shows distorted colors and no longer usable to identify objects in the rear of the vehicle. Additionally all backup sensors no longer activated when objects are behind the vehicle. Since there are massive blind spots behind the vehicle this is an accident waiting to happen. This was observed by dealership and recommended that the camera be replaced at owner expense. Still pending fix due to cost. This appears to be a common problem with 2019 Honda Pilot models.

My Honda Pilot has a previous recall for the infotainment system. Recall # 20V439000 or Honda recall # T89. I purchased this vehicle used in June 2024 with the knowledge this recall had been repaired. After driving the vehicle for a short time, the infotainment system started having an issue again. We have taken the vehicle to the dealership 3 more times to get this corrected, but it is still an ongoing issue. This infotainment system recall impacts instrument panel control module software which makes this a safety issue. I am submitting this form to create a formal complaint for lack of repair after multiple attempts on a recall.

Overblown colorful backup camera image. Backup camera stopped working properly on 2019 Honda Pilot Elite SUV. Image has very bright red yellow and purple colors (like night vision) and the rear image is no longer legible. This is now a safety hazard as the driver is unable to view people, vehicles, and other obstructions while backing up the SUV. Need Honda to cover the repair and replacement of the backup camera under warranty. The MOST communication cable connector recall causes the rear view camera to die early due to excess electrical noise going through the wire. There are many reports of the rear view cameras dying quickly due to the electrical issue of the MOST cable. The recall needs to cover the camera as well as the cable connectors, as they suffer damage as a result of the poor connection. My camera is still broken after the recall work was completed.

On the highway, driving at 70mph, the speed of the car dropped suddenly down to 40mph. Almost caused an accident as there wasn't time for other cars to break or move lanes. Managed to exit and drove slowly to the dealership. They said it was a problem to the high pressure fuel pump.

I was at a stop light and my car cycled off as it does when I am stopped and then it did not start back up. It stalled and the dash told me to put the car in park and press the start button and the brake. I tried it several times before it started back up. Very dangerous situation. I had been noticing prior to this that it would hesitate to restart and my car would ding like it does when the light comes on for a service notification. But it would start - this was the first time that it stalled.

Auto stop start is erratically failing to properly restart the car after brake has been disengaged. After arriving at a complete stop, the vehicle will properly shut down when the driver’s foot is on the brake. When the driver disengages the brakes, the engine should promptly restart and the car will find itself already in drive so it can continue to move forward. Under certain unknown circumstances, the car will stall and not be allowed to restart. In order to continue, I needed to shift the car to park, turn the car off completely, and then restart the car. Only then can I shift the car back to drive and continue. This presents a safety issue since once the brakes are removed, traffic behind interprets this action to mean you will be traveling forward shortly. The restart is sometimes accompanied by a lurk which might be also considered as moving forward. This vehicle has not been in a accident and the dealer was not able to reproduce this issue. The issue seemed to occur shortly after another recall was performed for the fuel pump. Auto stop start cannot be permanently disabled and needs to be performed each time the car is started. This circumstance seems documented in PE22005.

I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON AUGUST 10, 2019. WITHIN 2 WEEKS THE RADIO BEGAN MAKING A POPPING AND CRACKING SOUND THAT SOUNDED LIKE ROCKS HITTING THE WINDSHIELD. THIS SOUND HAPPENS DAILY WHEN I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. ABOUT ONE WEEK AFTER THIS HAPPENED, THE DVD PLAYER WOULD STOP WORKING AND THE SOUND FROM THE RADIO WOULD BEGIN TO COMPLETELY GO OUT. IT WOULD COME BACK ON EVENTUALLY, SOMETIMES AS MUCH AS 30 - 45 MINUTES LATER. AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS, THESE PROBLEMS CONTINUED AND THE SCREEN FOR NAVIGATION, ALONG WITH THE SPEEDOMETER SCREEN WOULD COMPLETELY GO BLACK WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION. IT RESTARTS AFTER ABOUT 10 - 20 SECONDS. IN TWO INSTANCES THE REAR BACKUP CAMERA HAS SHUT OFF WHILE I WAS BACKING UP AS WELL. I HAVE REPORTED THE ISSUE TO TWO DEALERSHIPS INCLUDING THE ONE WHERE I MADE THE PURCHASE. I AM SCHEDULED TO TAKE IT IN TO HAVE REPAIRS DONE TOMORROW.

ALSO THE AUDIO WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AND I WILL HAVE NO AUDIO FOR HOURS AT A TIME. ALSO THERE ARE POPS AND CRACKLES OUT OF THE SPEAKERS EVERY TIME I DRIVE THE VEHICLE. When driving my Honda Pilot the Automatic Emergency Braking system has engaged multiple times (3-4 times with me, and once with my husband driving) in the middle of driving with there was no reason for the braking to occur - Meaning there were times when no cars were even in front of me. When this happens the orange BRAKE warning shows up on my dashboard advising "BRAKE" and my car jolts forward to strongly break. There has not been a recall on this issue, therefore, there has not inspection on my car specific to this issue. When this occurs it causes extreme panic on unawareness of what is going on. There is a threat of a crash behind me, especially when driving on roads 55 MPH, when the car all of a sudden out of nowhere comes to almost a complete stop. Also, it extremely distracts me due to the suddenness of this issue without any perceived warning. Therefore, I quickly try to understand if I do need to swerve or figure out how to quickly speed up after it brakes so no cars hit me from behind. Then it takes me awhile to calm down and understand what happened.

Sunroof spontaneously exploded pouring glass all over in vehicle. I was alone on the freeway and there was no stone thrown that would have broken glass sunroof. Schlossmann dealer was disappointing in that they ran from any responsibility without even investigating fact that window partly blew upwards when it exploded. Sunroof has been replaced and is not available for inspection. There was no warning and I will always keep my sun shield barrier closed to protect me from future dangerous glass from raining down on me. Thankfully most of the glass blew outwards when this happened.

When Pilot was 2 years old a front windshield crack appeared at the bottom of the windshield directly in front of the center passenger seating position. No chip or hit to the windshield occurred and the crack actually grew from the bottom of the windshield where it is protected by the hood and appeared on a cold night while vehicle was parked. The body of the Pilot must have flexed at this spot and the crack is still there for inspection. My coworker has this same make, model, and year Pilot and his window also cracked in a similar fashion. I also have observed similar Pilots with the same crack. Since windshields are a vital structural part of the vehicle, I am concerned that Honda dealers deny that there is any defect when there absolutely is.

I own three Honda vehicles. All of them have paint issues. This 2019 Honda Pilot is having paint peeling off of the rear hatch and other areas of the body. No physical damage has happened to these areas and the paint peeling is not a result of any mechanical force. The paint itself is chipping off of its own accord.

OWNER'S MANUAL STATES THAT MOTION OF THE POWER TAILGATE CAN BE STOPPED BY PRESSING ANY TAILGATE BUTTON. "IF YOU PRESS THE BUTTON AGAIN WHILE THE POWER TAILGATE IS MOVING, IT WILL STOP." (PAGES FROM MANUAL ATTACHED AS PDF.) DEALER ALSO TOLD ME THIS. THIS IS A LIE. THE TAILGATE DOES NOT STOP UNTIL IT REACHES THE FULL UPWARD POSITION, OR UNTIL ITS UPWARD MOTION HITS AN OBSTACLE (E.G. GARAGE DOOR) AND REVERSES DIRECTION. HONDA LIED. AFTER COMPLAINING TO DEALER, I WAS INFORMED THIS IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE WAS REMOVED FROM THE 2019 PILOT; YET IT IS IN THE MANUAL MULTILE TIMES ON MULTIPLE PAGES. CONSEQUENTLY, THE VEHICLE IS USELESS TO ME; I CANNOT USE THE POWER TAILGATE WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED IN MY GARAGE. I WANT HONDA TO BUY BACK THE VEHICLE FROM ME OR ISSUE A FIRMWARE UPDATE THAT RESTORES THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

When stopped at a red light the engine shifted from drive to neutral on its own. The brake became stiff and it took shutting off and restarting the car multiple times before it would shift. This is the third instance of this vehicle shifting to neutral on its own. After the previous times (they occurred within the same day- one shifting from park to neutral and the other similar to this experience, also at a red light), I took the car into the dealership where it came back showing no codes and could not be replicated while there. It is a push button electric shifter and the vehicle has had multiple recalls and service bulletins for electronics (all repaired) and has experienced issues beginning one month after I purchased the car brand new.

The contact owned a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated while attempting to park the vehicle at approximately 2 MPH, the vehicle inadvertently accelerated forward violently and jumped a parking barrier. The contact stated she almost hit two nearby passengers; however was able to steer the vehicle to the side, and crashed into a tree where the vehicle came to a stop. There were no warning lights illuminated. The driver's air bag deployed. The vehicle was destroyed. The police arrived on the scene. There was a police report filed. One of the nearby passengers, which the contact almost hit was injured due to her fall and sustained a fractured arm that required medical treatment. There were injuries to the contact arms, chest, and stomach from the seat belt retraction however she declined medical treatment at the scene. The vehicle was towed to the local salvage lot. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 32,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the Auto START/STOP feature failed to operate as needed causing the vehicle to stall. The contact would restart the vehicle as an unknown message was displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on multiple occasions; however, the failure persisted. Recently, the contact stated that the vehicle had locked up after the failure occurred and the gear shifter would not move from the park(P) position. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 23,000.

The windshield camera (aka "monocular camera") appears to be failing prematurely. According to internet research, this appears to be an overheating problem in the design of monocular camera. This results in a litany of dashboard errors like the following: Collision Mitigation Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Lane Keeping Assist Problem, Braking System Error, Auto High Beam Problem.

While driving on highways that have had repairs done my lane departure sensing system has kicked in and both jerked my car over as well automatically slowed the speed. The issue is that the car's sensors are reading the material used to repair the roads as if they are the lane markers and have pulled me out of an actual lane and caused my car to slow while on the expressway. Twice this has happened during rush hour and I was nearly rear ended twice and almost hit a car in the lane next to me once. To be clear: in each of these incidents I was in a proper lane and was not drifting. The lane had repairs/patches done which caused the car's sensors to misread the lane's boundaries.

Unknown….vehicle slips at certain speeds and repeatedly does so on a trip. If the engine is turned off, this may reset and slippage goes away temporarily. This issue has been brought to the dealers attention on multiple occasions over the past 2 years, but they have been unable to reproduce except on the most recent visit. Occurrence is more frequent now. Wondering why this vehicle is not included with the recall with similar make and model for the same year for torque converter?

The transmission has slipped now twice while driving. The car keep on giving jerks hard after the car starts moving The car is in automatic drive mode. During acceleration, the car will jolt forward, also when using the brakes. The dealer did recognize the problem but said it is not covered by warranty and that transmission needed to be flushed… which was going to cost $740 and parts extra. After initial diagnostics recommended to flush transmission fluid 3 times. For even Diagnose they charged me $179 . I Have done maintenance on time Transmission fluid was change before 30000 miles for the first time and now they are asking to flush it 3 times ,As per Honda Manual recommendation every 30000 miles we need to change Transmission fluid . They should replace either Transmission or do the service free of cost under powertrain warranty(60000 miles) as I only have 46800 miles within 4 years of purchase.

Two incidences occurred within one hour. When in park the vehicle suddenly shifted to neutral and began to roll backwards. The second incident occurred 30 minutes later. When stopped at a traffic light the vehicle again shifted into neutral on its own and would not allow you to switch to drive with out turning off the vehicle and then back on again. Both could have resulted in catastrophic injury. This vehicle has been recalled (and repaired) multiple times for electrical issues and has all push button gear shifts. It is up to date on all recall and service notices and maintenance.

WHEN THE ENGINE IS DISABLED THE CAR CAN'T BE PUT INTO NEUTRAL BY THE OPERATOR. IN MY CASE, ON 2/13/20 THE STARTER MALFUNCTIONED AT < 7000 MILES-IT HAS SINCE BEEN REPLACED. I WAS IN A PARKING GARAGE, AND NO STRUCTURE TRUCKS WERE AVAILABLE TO TOW FROM THE SPOT THE CAR WAS DISABLED. THE PLAN WAS TO PUT IT INTO NEUTRAL AND PUSH IT TO THE STREET WHERE IT COULD BE TOWED. THE OWNER'S MANUAL DOES NOT TELL WHAT TO DO. THE DEALER DIDN'T KNOW, EITHER. IF IT'S GOOGLED, A YOUTUBE VIDEO COMES UP, THAT IDENTIFIES AN ODDLY SHAPED DEVICE OR BOLT DEEP IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. BUT EVEN THE AAA MECHANIC WHO CAME TO THE SCENE,WITH ALL HIS TOOLS, COULD NOT GET IT TO TURN. I ASKED THE DEALERSHIP IF THERE WAS ANY OTHER WAY AND ULTIMATELY THEY SAID "NO." THEY LATER TOLD ME, AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH, THAT HONDA HAS A SPECIAL TOOL, REQUIRING THREE EXTENSIONS, USED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS DURING TRANSPORT TO THE DEALER. THIS SEEM QUITE UNSAFE. OBVIOUSLY, CARS CAN BE DISABLED IN MANY WAYS. WITHOUT A REASONABLY ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF PUTTING THE CAR IN NEUTRAL, IT CANNOT BE MOVED IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION (FOR EXAMPLE, OUT OF A LANE OF TRAFFIC). IT DEFINITELY CAN'T BE DONE BY AN OWNER (UNLESS, I SUPPOSE IT'S SOMEONE WHO HAS THE ABILITY TO GOOGLE DURING THE EMERGENCY, FINDS THE VIDEO, AND HAS THE SPECIAL TOOL). PLEASE NOTE THE CAR WASH FEATURE WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE THE ENGINE HAS TO BE RUNNING FOR THAT. WHEN I FIRST BROUGHT THIS UP, NO ONE AT THE DEALERSHIP KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS DEFECT. I HAVE SINCE LEARNED THAT MOST CARS HAVE A SHIFT LOCK OVERRIDE LEVER EASILY ACCESSIBLE IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT, OFTEN ON OR NEAR THE SHIFT CONSOLE. IN MY CONVERSATION WITH THE DEALERSHIP,THEY SAY THAT 2020 PILOTS AND 2019 AND 2020 PASSPORTS ALSO HAVE THIS DESIGN. I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY OTHER VEHICLES ARE AFFECTED. my 2019 honda pilot's front panels lights goes off while driving. It includes radio screen, AC and other accessories button lights, and speedometer and other gauges. I went to dealership twice. First time they mentioned that it could be software issue and they updated the software. But that didn't resolve the issue and I had the same problem. Honda knew this fault in many other vehicle and they sent out a notice to get changed the MOST cord. Got changed it on May 29, but again it happened on June 21. This issue happens when I drive my vehicle more than 10-12 miles continuously. This is a serious safety issue as the speedometer and other gauges shut down and could be dangerous while on highways. Also, the sudden shut down of info system's light changes the interior ambient lighting and could be a possible cause of an accident while driving at high speed.

On [XXX] a code p0430 appeared on the dash board screen. The car was making a strange noise coming from the engine. I took the car to Integrity Auto Repair shop in McAllen, Texas, they checked the code and said that it was the catalytic converters that were going bad. So I requested an estimate, since their estimate was too high, I contracted a private mechanic to replace the catalytic converters (2), and another part connected to the system. Also, we replaced the oxygen sensors and the noise did not go away. Then, on August 25th, 2025 I decided to take my Honda pilot to the dealer Honda in Pharr, Texas for a check up and they told me that the reason the car was making so much noise and had so much reduced engine power was because the high pressure fuel pump was failing. So, I asked the service representative: If the problem is the high pressure fuel pump, why the dash board code p0430 showed up? Ana, was the representative's name; she replied that the front dash camera is malfunctioning and needs to also be replaced. I asked her...my car just has 76,000 miles, i paid so much money for this car and you are telling me that the dash camera and the high fuel pressure pump are not good? And, I spent almost 4,000.00 Dollars replacing the wrong parts because your dash board gave me the wrong code? Why is this happening? I am driving my car with my two little daughters in the car, taking them to school and back and hearing the car engine noise and wondering when is it going to leave me on the road? Then I asked her; this looks like that is a problem from the manufacturer and Honda should be responsible for the repair. Imagine the dash board giving me the wrong warning code? And the car has only 76,000 miles. Then I go and spend so much money for nothing? This is not normal. I feel that Honda is responsible for the car failures. I believe this car was subject to the recall where something about the AIS system needed to be fixed. The initial problem was the car would stall out at lights when the AIS system was activated. I went in for the recall and had not experienced the problem since. That’s until the past couple days where the problem is back to occurring when I’m stopped at a light and fully depressed the brake, the car stops idling and fails to restart creating a dangerous condition in traffic. It is stressful, unneeded, and puts my family in danger.

Car stalls at a stoplight. Battery was completely depleted so it wouldn't restart. I couldn't even open the windows on a hot day b/c the battery was depleted. Honda dealer in Richmond California tells me they can't replicate the issue and all the diagnostic tools they have indicate no problems. This is a serious safety issue that must be addressed.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that upon coming to a complete stop, the A/C started to blow warm air; however, upon acceleration, the vehicle resumed blowing cold air. The contact stated that over time, the contact stated that the failure initially occurred approximately an hour after driving before the failure became a constant failure after starting the vehicle. The contact called the dealer and made an appointment to repair the vehicle. The mechanic discovered that the fan control relay was defective due to the relay melting into the fuse box. The contact was informed that the engine compartment harness needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number. In addition, the contact received an email with a form to fill out for the Manufacturer’s Goodwill Assistance Program. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 131,000.

the moonroof malfunctioned and came off of the track. I could not close or open it. we brought the car into Honda. They also had problems closing the moonroof, and had to manually force it closed. they werent sure if its the track or the cable or motor. They asked me what I did to cause this.. I said all I did was press the button to open it. it opened and made a crunchy noise when I pressed the button again to close it. there were no warnings , symptoms of this problem prior to it coming off of the track. my car was 6 months out of warranty. the cost of the repair was $4000, Honda customer service was contacted and they agree to pay 40% of the cost , so the repair cost me 1475.39. ive heard from other Pilot owners of this occurring . 3 of the other owners had this repair done FREE, out of warranty.... Its not like its something I caused.. I just pressed a button and failure.

dash instuments goes blacked out , entertainment system goes black in sequence to dash, this has happened multiple times . I cannot tell my speed, gas levels, etc, the LKAS, collision warning, adaptive cruise control , auto emergncy breaking ,lane departure warning failed with lights coming on with various failure warinings, it fails ,then works randomly then fails again. I have taken my vehichle in starting in 2022 for the dash instruments and entertainment going out .The transmission has rough shifting multiple times, i have brought for diagnostic service 4 times on transmission, they cannot find the causes. I have had transmissions serviced and flushed as required.

Car is at 56K mileage. I was at a stop light engine was running, when I took my foot off the brake and tried to accelerate the engine died, the dashboard flashed a collision warning, (there were no cars or animals near my car), then all the screens dashboard behind steering wheel and on middle console all went blank. I restarted the car and made it home fine. Drove the car the next day for several stops (street and highway driving), then the same thing happened at a stop light and it restarted and I made it home fine. The third day there were no problems while driving 30+ miles streets and highway. The fourth day, drove about 15 miles to work and all was fine. Drove about 13 miles street and highway just fine. Ran an errand and car would not restart. Pressing the engine start button resulting in clicking but not engine start, headlight flashing, and the dashboard behind steering flashing various warning messages (cycled through several as I held the start button down, collision, braking system failure, power steering, etc.) but never started. Let it rest for ~3 hours and still would not start, same result with clicking and flashing headlights and warning messages.

This is a 2019 Honda Pilot with start stop function. There is a noticeable delay in activation and getting longer with time; this is a 3 year old vehicle. During 2 other instances, the system failed and vehicle would not start on a public street. During these failures and delays, other than the obvious collision safety issue, the safety systems are unavailable via a message on the dash. When it eventually starts back up it functions normally. This is clearly the system prematurely failing or the system prematurely killing the battery (which has a normal functional life of 5 - 7 years).

I got in my vehicle about a month ago to a lot of blinking lights. I immediately took my vehicle to Davenport Honda in Rocky Mount, NC, who stated I had a misfire and it would be over $1000 to fix the problem. Approximately a month later, a few more blinking lights came on. It was the lane departure, automatic high beam and collision lights. I took my vehicle back to the dealership that stated it is an internal failure and now the entire camera will need to be replace quoting me another $1000 job. I currently have a crack in my windshield and cannot get it replace due to this internal failure. I have read several comments about this internal failure leading to believe me this should be a recall. I don't have $4000 to $5000 to put into a vehicle every 2 to 3 months.

Just started, while driving in high winds: electrical power steering problem, vehicle stability assist problem, hill start assist problem, trailer stability assist problem, road departure mitigation system problem, emissions system problem. Brake system warning light is also on. I don’t have a towing system installed- so that’s odd to get a warning for trailer stability. I had an oil change @ 101076 miles, on 19 November 2024, and my tires were rotated at that time. This issue repeated itself today, 21 November 2024.

Was driving normal and the windshield camera radar fail, and a lot of warning lights come on, take to a dealer and told me that some internal part of the camera fail, and need to be replace, they estimate for that is $1600, now I’m driving with out automatic brake, no cruise control, no line keeping assistant, 2019 Honda Pilot Ex-L, I think is a common problem and need to recall this,. Our Honda had a failure while driving on the highway. The camera behind the windshield apparently failed all at once and this caused all of the safety features to stop functioning and we almost had a wreck trying to get across the busy lanes of traffic because when this camera failed it caused the service brakes light on the dash to come on and stay on as well as the adaptive cruise control, the lane keep assist, the emergency braking, the blind spot warning all to stop functioning immediately without warning. We had the vehicle towed to the Honda dealer and had to pay to have the $1300 camera behind the windshield replaced on a vehicle that’s barely 5 years old. This camera that is so ingrained into all of the safety features that are the main reason we bought this vehicle should not be failing. Honda refused to assist with this repair and they will recall vehicles because a backup camera isn’t clear but offer no help for something that kills every single safety feature of the vehicle? How does that make sense? I find this to be a sad situation that will get someone killed.

Often times when accelerating the car has issues and will sometimes feel like it is dropping down a shift while I am in the middle of accelerating. Also, if Idle stop is left on, the car will sometimes shut off completely before turning back on. Yesterday, the car shut off completely then turned back on but I could not get it out of neutral. when I tried to shut the car off nothing would happen and when I tried to put it in park to then try and shut the car off still nothing happened. Finally, after a few minutes it turned off and I was able to start it back up and put it in drive. This is while I was coming off of the interstate and going into a round about. I only stopped for a second to merge onto the roundabout so this was a potentially dangerous situation.

AND THE ODOMETER SCREEN (SPEED DISPLAY, ALL THE SIGNALS) BECAME DEAD. IT COULD LAST FEW SECONDS AND REBOOT BACK OR UP TO 30 MINUTES. IN A 15 MILE JOURNEY , COULD HAPPEN AROUND 15 TIMES. Our 2019 Honda Pilot will flash the brake for the front collision warning system when there is no oncoming traffic or even when the oncoming traffic is in its lane. It does not always happen, but enough to be an annoyance. It also tends, when stopped at a light, and the auto stop engages not to restart. The entire electrical system goes haywire and then dies. This includes the ability to use your 4way or emergency flashers. The car then has to be jumped or towed to restart the vehicle.

The car is equipped with a stop-start system that is supposed to shut off the engine when you stop (eg at a red light) and restart almost instantly when you lift the foot off the brake. The restart feature fails somewhat regularly, maybe about 5% of the time. It has happened for many years, and with increasing frequency as the car is getting older. Sometimes the restart has trouble, the car misfires a moment, but then the engine restarts, sometimes a bunch of unrelated warnings sound when this happens, the car reporting that the collision avoidance systems are now offline or similar. Sometimes the engine completely stalls and does not come back online at all; when this happens, getting it restarted generally means putting it in park, turning the car completely off, then starting it again, a process that takes 10-15 seconds. When this happens at an isolated stop sign it is annoying; it has also happened on a highway exit ramp with traffic going around our disabled vehicle. Various Honda dealers have inspected and maintained the vehicle, and none have detected anything wrong to explain this behavior. The problem is intermittent and thus hard to reproduce on demand.

When the idle stop system is engaged and the brake is depressed to activate the vehicle engine to shut off (at a red light for example), sometimes when lifting your foot off the gas the vehicle does not restart as it is designed to. This leaves the driver stranded at a green light panicking to find a way to get the car started and other vehicles stuck behind the stalled car stopping the normal flow of traffic and causing a potential accident.

While driving, the vehicle occasionally experiences a momentary loss of power, reacting as if the engine turned off. Power is restored after a few seconds, no longer than 10. The loss of power places everyone in the vehicle in danger, as well as surrounding vehicles. This is especially true when it occurs at interstate highway speeds, as it has done in the past. I called the dealership (Johnson Honda of Stuart FL - 772-600-4342) and they said there was nothing they could do because there is no active recall associated with this vehicle. There were no symptoms prior to the failures. The failure has occurred approximately 6-8 times over the past couple of years.

The contact had taken his foot of the accelerator pedal; however, the unintended acceleration persisted, and the vehicle reached 40 MPH without the accelerator pedal being depressed. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to stop the vehicle and had the vehicle towed to a local dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. My car "lurches" when increasing speed sometimes acting like it does not want to go at all. I am constantly on edge that I am going to get rear ended or hit. Especially when my children are with me. Occasionally the brake light will light up and my car will slow down and then accelerate again. Which also makes me worry about getting hit. Both of these things have happened multiple times and we've done our research. It's a major issue

Transmission fluid is burning up within 15,000 miles or less. When the flood is going bad the vehicle studders as you accelerate and it's not safe. Ive seen a lot of people online with the same issue. Contacted Honda of America and they also know about the issue and are not doing anything to help.

The vehicle is unable to be put back into drive unless the vehicle is turned off and then restarted creating a dangerous condition while you are stuck in middle of the roadway.

The Pilot has exhibited unusual behavior that seems tied to the autostop functionality when at a stop light. Three times now I will let my foot off the brake and the car completely shuts down. When I try to restart the vehicle, the accessory power turns on but the vehicle will not start. It will start to turn over, but the turn over terminates abruptly and the car completely shuts off. The behavior seems similar to what is in the NHTSA Action Number PE22005

With the lane departure warning- it alerts when the lane turning and when my blinker is on to change lanes. It does not alert when I change lanes without my blinker Lane keeping assistance does not do anything Engine idle shut off- when I am at a stop light and the engine turns off while idle, when I take my foot off the break the engine completely cuts off and the screen prompts me to shift into park. I the. Have to completely turn off my car and turn it back on. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds sometimes it take a minute or two to turn back on. This has happened at stop lights as well as on the freeway during stop and go traffic

My 2019 Honda Pilot Touring was included in the Stop Sale/Safety Recall: 2018-2023 Multi-Model MOST Communication Error. In May 2024, Schomp Honda dealership attempted to fix the recall. In September 2024 my Honda Pilot began experiencing audio and display issues. The display would cut out while driving and I would hear static through the speakers. On September 24, 2024 I took a short drive and the backup camera worked when I reversed out of my garage, but 12 mins later when trying to park, my backup camera video would not display. It stays on a black screen with "Camera System Failure" when in reverse, I tried parking the vehicle, turning the engine off and back on. While I waited for my service appointment at the Schomp Honda Dealership (the same dealership who performed the attempted recall fix) on Oct 2, 2024 the video from the backup camera would intermittently display (approximately 10% of the time I would see video when in reverse). The other 90% of the time, the display shows a black, sometimes flickering green image. I believe the Stop Sale/Safety Recall: 2018-2023 Multi-Model MOST Communication Error was not fixed by the service technicians at Schomp Honda Dealership for my 2019 Honda Pilot Touring. I am experiencing the exact issues with 23-047, Safety Recall: 2019-23 Passport/Pilot Install FAKRA Service Cables at MOST Bus Network was supposed to fix. An improperly functioning rearview camera impairs my rearward visibility, potentially increasing the risk of a back-up collision or injury. I cannot see children or people that are shorter than my rear window.

2019 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD; approximately 76k miles; all routine maintenance performed as scheduled Power Train (Jun-2023)-- had to replace both seals on on transmission / transfer case within the same month as case was leaking transmission fluid. Problem has been confirmed and repaired by two service centers (one seal each) with one at dealer and one at independent service center. No warning lights or indicators, just fluid leaking. Results could have been catastrophic transmission failure. Also replaced "burned" transmission fluid. Fuel / Propulsion System (Jun-2023) -- per service technician at dealer, loose / failing spring in high pressure fuel pump / fuel joint pipe. Per independent service center, if / when pump fails, fuel will spill into the engine. No warning lights or indicators, just noise when starting and accelerating. Trying to schedule service to address this but service centers and dealers are booked and part seems to be hard to come by taking 1-2 weeks to obtain. Neither of these issues should be happening at 75k miles and certainly not on a Honda.

The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle had experienced jerking and vibrations and would not properly accelerate while pressing the accelerator pedal. Also, the vehicle would not immediately start and the fuel emissions light would remain illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the catalytic converter was faulty and needed to be replaced. The catalytic converter was replaced but the failures reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel injectors were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 58,084.

My 2019 Honda Pilot alignment pulls badly to the right while driving on any type of road surface. I have had the vehicle aligned numerous times and the car still pulls to the right. I have heard from other people friends of mine that own Pilots that they have this issue as well. Honda needs to look into this as it is a safety problem out on the road. The problem has been confirmed by my tire dealer and my mechanic the problem continues. No warning lights have ever appeared.

On 4-30-21, my 2019 Honda Pilot was repaired per recall for sudden loud speaker popping. I'd complained about that issue since buying the car. I'd also complained since purchase about frequent false collision mitigation system errors some of which engaged the brakes. On Monday May 3, 2021 I was on a highway off-ramp going about 30 MPH when my steering wheel suddenly locked up, the collision mitigation system sounded, the brakes engaged, and the car began to swerve into the oncoming lane over the double yellow lines. I was momentarily unable to drive back into my own lane because the steering wheel was locked. A few seconds later, the car went back to normal and I was able to put my blinker on and pull over into the breakdown lane. I was very frightened so I took a few minutes to calm down. Luckily, there were no oncoming vehicles and no one behind me when it happened. On May 5, 2021 I was driving my vehicle on I-95 at approximately the speed limit of 65 MPH when the steering wheel again locked up, the brakes briefly auto-engaged, and the a/c unit shut off. I was in heavy traffic and was immediately concerned I would be rear-ended and/or drift into another lane causing an accident. Luckily, the steering wheel unlocked within a few seconds and the brakes stopped engaging. I was able to regain control before there was an accident. Shortly thereafter, I had the car serviced at the dealership. The mechanics said the sensor was slightly off but that didn't explain the steering wheel locking up and other symptoms. At my insistence, they dug further and consulted Honda mechanics. That research pointed them to the battery. They fixed a loose battery terminal and said that could explain the issues I was having. I learned by my own research that 2019 Honda Odysseys had a recall for a similar issue. The dealership indicated they were doing me a favor to "help you out" and this was a one-time thing. I would have to pay for any future work or escalate to Honda.

I currently have a 2019 Honda, Pilot with approximately 70,000 miles. I have had problems with the idle stop feature since the first year of owning the vehicle. I have had many instances of a restart resulting in actuating the warning lights on my instrument panel and a few times when my vehicle did not restart. My dealer either was not able to diagnose the problem or did not know how. I even paid to have my battery replaced, which helped elevate the problem but did not fix it.I also either have a problem with the automatic braking system giving me a warning or in some instances actually applying the brakes when there is no traffic.Both of these are reoccurring and on-going problems.

The contact stated that all four tires had experienced low air pressure on multiple occasions. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the rubber on the front passenger’s side tread had peeled off and separated from the tire. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. SIDE-WALL BLEW OUT OF TIRE WHILE TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 55-60MPH ON NORMAL, PAVED ROAD. NO DEBRIS WAS HIT AT THE TIME OF FAILURE AND THERE WAS NO KNOWN HISTORY OF STRIKING DEBRIS WITH THE SIDEWALL. TIRE HAD APPROXIMATELY 16,000 MILES ON IT (65,000 MILE TIRES) AND HAD BEEN ROTATED TWICE SINCE PURCHASE.

The seatbelt that serves the middle row center seat detached from its attachment point during normal use without an accident. We are the original owners of the car with no accidents. My daughter has sat in that seat for 4.5 years and 50,000 miles. She is currently 10 years old. Had we been in an accident, I believe that she would have not been protected by her seatbelt. One day, we noticed a large bulge in the back of the car roof that we hadn’t seen before. The next day, when my daughter puller her seatbelt out, there was resistance when she pulled. Once the seatbelt did come out, white fabric came out of the seatbelt hole and the seatbelt fabric was torn/frayed. We brought the car into the dealership where we purchased it. Upon inspection, the bulge was the reel assembly that had detached from the frame of the car. The seatbelt assembly was wedged between the metal roof and the fabric trim - not attached to anything. It is being repaired under warranty on 6/16/2023 at the dealership.

The driver's belt buckle receiver started malfunctioning and would click, but the seat belt would not lock at 93k miles. The belt would come unlatched while driving. The red release button would stick in the down position as well. Honda dealer said they would replace it under warranty, but it was non the less scary not to have a working seat belt. I question the quality of the part as I have had many other Hondas with 2-3 times the miles that never had a seat belt failure. I am driving a 2022 Honda Pilot loaner with 600 miles, and while the seat belt locks, it looks like it could eventually fail as well. I would feel safer if a Honda engineer inspected the buckle locks.

When I was parking my Honda Pilot 2019, the car suddenly accelerated on its own without pushing the gas pedal and hit the wall of a building. This accident caused head, neck and back injury for myself. FYI, there was not any warning lamps or messages or other symptoms. I have also reported this incident to American Honda Motor but no one has inspected my car yet.

For the second time is the last few weeks the car experienced issues after losing electrical power. It failed to start after being parked for about an hour at the airport. All sorts of warnings started randomly blinking on the dashboard. But the door, cabin lights etc all would come in when the doors were opened.

Having Crackling noise coming from the front dash of my car which interferes with the radio and the screen of my radio. Seems to be the electrical problem but if it’s shutting down the radio it’s possible that it could totally shut down my car while driving . It has become a safety issue. Break problem getting a pop/clicking noise in the front left & right tire has been put in shop 5 time never fixed.. they keep adding lubricant still have the same problem.. another safety hazard..

I HAD A HEAD ON COLLISION IN MY 2019 HONDA PILOT ON A CITY STREET AT ABOUT 25-30MPH AUGUST 29, 2019. THE SENSOR WAS TRIGGERED AND THE AIRBAG SYSTEM "ATTEMPTED" TO INFLATE. MY HEAD SMASHED INTO THE STEERING WHEEL AND THE AIRBAG SYSTEM NEVER PROPERLY INFLATED. I JUST KEPT HEARING A SOUND LIKE IT WAS TRYING TO INFLATE BUT HAD A HOLE IN IT OR SOMETHING. THE MEDIC SAID THAT IF MY AIRBAG INFLATED PROPERLY, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE A PUNCH IN THE FACE AND BLOWN ME BACK. INSTEAD, MY HEAD SLAMMED THE WHEEL AND THE BAG NEVER GOT INFLATED NEAR CAPACITY. I CALLED HONDA AND REPORTED THE INCIDENT I WAS GIVEN HONDA CASE # 09867010. I WAS THEN CALLED A FEW DAYS LATER BY ADRIAN FROM AMERICAN HONDA WHO TOLD ME THERE WAS NO WAY THE AIRBAG FAILED, AND THAT IF IT DID, I HAD TO LET INSURANCE TELL HONDA AND I WAS TO TELL NO ONE ELSE. HE THEN TOLD ME Y MEMORY HAD TO BE WRONG AND IF I SAID OTHERWISE, I WAS A LIAR. I REPORTED THIS SO THAT NO ONE ELSE WOULD ENCOUNTER THIS SAFETY ISSUE AND HONDA WOULD HANDLE IT, BUT IT SEEMS THEY ARE DENYING THE POSSIBILITY. I HAD THE BODY SHOP SAVE THE AIRBAG AND RELATED COMPONENTS FOR POSSIBLE INSPECTION. THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAID THEY DID NOT CARE TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND THAT I SHOULD CONTACT HONDA OR AN ATTORNEY MYSELF IF I FELT SOMETHING FAILED.

THE VEHICLE HAS FREQUENTLY HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM GLITCHING WHICH LEADS TO THE LKAS (LANE KEEP ASSIST), AAC (ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL), AND LANE DEPARTURE SYSTEM TO FAIL WHILE THE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. WHEN TURNING THE CAR OFF AFTER THESE ISSUES OCCUR, THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM WILL STAY ON, DRAINING THE BATTERY. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO A HONDA DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT AN UPDATE WOULD FIX THIS ISSUE. ONCE WE INFORMED THEM AND THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE SYSTEM WAS ALREADY UPDATED, THEY TOLD IS THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO. THE ONLY WAY WE CAN STOP THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM FROM STAYING ON IS BY REMOVING THE FUSE FOR THE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. WE HAVE CONTACTED HONDA AND THEY HAVE REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.

WE ALSO EXPERIENCE A 'POPPING' NOISE THROUGH THE SPEAKERS, EVEN WITH AUDIO SYSTEM TURNED OFF. THIS USUALLY IS WHAT HAPPENS FIRST, THEN ERROR MESSAGES (FOR EXAMPLE: 'RADIO UNAVAILABLE', 'NO AUDIO CONNECTION FOR FM', 'NETWORK COMMUNICATION LOST', 'CHECK TUNER'), THEN SCREEN GOES BLANK. WHEN THIS HAPPENS WHILE THE DRIVER IS DRIVING, THEY ARE UNABLE TO ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE SPECIFIC SAFETY CONTROLS INCLUDING LANE KEEP ASSIST, CRUISE CONTROL, AUTOMATIC BRAKING ETC. THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING WARNING IS ALSO LOST WHEN THE DISPLAY GOES OUT, AS WELL AS THE SPEEDOMETER. WHEN THIS HAPPENS , BOTH DISPLAY SCREENS TURN OFF AND GO BLACK, WHICH ARE HUGE SAFETY CONCERNS. FROM THE CENTER DISPLAY, WE LOSE THE BACK UP CAMERA, RADIO, NAVIGATION, DVD PLAYER AND ABILITY TO MAKE HANDS FREE PHONE CALLS AMONG OTHER THINGS. THIS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE. SEEMS TO BE WHEN USING CRUISE CONTROL FOR OVER 1.25 HRS. WHEN YOU PRESS THE CANCEL BUTTON ON THE STEERING WHEEL TO CANCEL THE SET CRUISE CONTROL, THE CARS "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT STARTS FLASHING. THE ENGINE WILL CONTINUE RUNNING BUT THERE IS LITTLE TO NO POWER WHEN STEPPING ON THE ACCELERATOR. DRIVER MUST PULL OVER, TURN OFF CAR AND THEN RESTART. THIS IS INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS AT HIGH SPEEDS OR CROSSING OVER ONCOMING TRAFFIC! I BROUGHT THE HONDA PILOT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT BOTH HE AND THE DISTRICT REP. HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO THEM LAST MONTH WITH THEIR 2019 HONDA PILOT. NEITHER OF THEM HAD ANY ADVICE FOR ME. BUT THEY WERE NOTABLY QUITE WORRIED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES OF THIS AND IMMEDIATELY ASKED TO HOOK A COMPUTER UP TO MY CAR TO TRY TO FIND AN ERROR CODE. THEY FOUND NONE! AGAIN, INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS!!! All of the safety features are failing starting about August 2025. Warning lights are lit for collision mitigation, cruise control, high beam, lane departure, braking, EVERYTHING!!! We replaced the battery but that is not the problem. The transmission was always a problem. The braking assist never worked from day 1. The vehicle is completely defective.

My 2019 Honda pilot randomly started showing all these errors at once: LKAS, Collision Mitigation Problem, road departure mitigation system problem, auto highbeam problem, adaptive cruise control problem. After speaking with the Honda dealership, they said this is a chronic problem with 2018 to new Honda vehicles. He stated he's unsure why there is not a recall for this yet. They stated that the issue is the front dash camera, which will need replacement. Replacement is around $2,000.

2019 Honda Touring: driving down the highway the windshield would crackle ( Electricity) then we started experiencing transmission delays in shifting and the transmission sounded rough and it was delayed. when the car was put in park the whole dashboard lit up with emissions system problem, Stop driving when safe. transmission problem, Blind spot info system problem. after this showed up the car was not able to move at all. it would not move to gear. the problem was not reproduced at the Honda dealer. They recommend replacing the transmission. I had it towed to another shop where they tell me all codes that pertain this the initial issues stated and refer back to dealer to reset the tmc system failure and to reset the electrical system. Honda refuses to do work as they want to replace the entire transmission

While operating I was on Highway driving my car the driver seat was set up according to my height, when I use the break to slow down for the heavy traffic during the rush hour wasn't that fast at all I believe my car was at 30 in mph around somehow my car seat dropped too low and I was afraid that I can barley seen in the front. Some how I manage to get home but not sure if there is blown fuses, faulty switches, or loose wiring connectors under the seat or electrical seat problems. This Vehicle is from year 2019 when we purchased. I haven't call the Honda for service yet, cause it's weekend now. I will call on following Monday 22. for Check up.

This vehicle continues to have issues related to a problem that was issued for the fuel pump earlier this year. My fuel pump was replaced, but the vehicle continues to do the same thing. It stalls and jerks while I am driving and does not start sometimes after getting gas. When I am trying to accelerate the vehicle does not go at full power. One time I was going out into traffic and had to reverse because I knew that I would not make it and get hit. In addition to this, the vehicle has an issue with the braking system. Other years have been recalled for what they call ghost breaking, and although this one does this, it has not been recalled. I will be driving and the car will all of a sudden just brake on its own as if there is a vehicle/object in front of me. Sometimes this happens in the same location. Honda is supposed to be a reliable car, but it seems they have failed with this year/model of the Pilot because it has been big issue after big issue.

This has been an on-going problem since the beginning of the year. For at least the past 7000 miles of driving, my 2019 Honda Pilot has been juttering (Honda Mechanic's Term-not mine). Pursuant to a Honda Technical Service Bulletin on this issue, I paid $1967.06 to change the fuel injectors and spark plugs in the vehicle. This did NOT resolve the problem. Anthony Hart, Customer Complaint Manager from Honda Headquarters in Torrance, CA, told me I had to take the vehicle to the local Honda Service Department and pay the $106.99 it charged for an analysis and recommendation for the repair. I did that. The mechanic acknowledged the problem and suggested to flush the transmission fluid and to perform a throttle body service with re-learn at a cost of $901.08. This appeared to be more of an "upcharge for service" rather than a resolution for the repair. Also, I was dealing with Anthony who insisted upon the evaluation in order for him to authorize some compensation for such. Therefore, I declined the service pending Anthony's response. Each time I get to speak with Mr. Hart, it is almost as if I am a first time contact. I have to reiterate that I am now into the repairs to this vehicle in the amount of $2074.05 with an additional suggested item of $901.08. The costs would therefore total $2975.13 WITH NO GUARANTEE THAT THE ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED! It is unconscionable that Honda recognizes the issue being so common in my car that it has issued a Technical Service Bulletin; however, the suggested repair DOES NOT WORK. Honda has not issued a recall on this issue; nor has it apparently been willing to reimburse me for the repairs thus far. We are afraid to take the vehicle on long trips for fear of being stranded somewhere.

The contact stated that the front and rear brakes were replaced, and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. After starting my vehicle and leaving the office, several different warning messages began flashing on the dash ABS, lane departure mitigation, Power Sterring, Towing. I pulled over and turned the vehicle off. When I attempted to restart the vehicle, the brake pedal was hard and felt stuck. The car did not start. When roadside assistance came, they tested the battery, and it was fine. The car was towed to a Honda dealer and the technician informed me the Brake Pedal Position Switch failed. He said that it would have caused all the different warning messages to appear. This was the second time this occurred, where the different warning messages lit up, but that time the car restarted. When I took it to the dealer that time, they could not determine the issue, and no repairs were done. I am concerned because I have seen that these vehicles have issues with this and it is very dangerous and unsafe when it comes to issues with the brakes.

Had veh fixed for fuel injection issues in 2023 paid 1500 repair complained to handa America and they paid it.. car was still under warranty.. Recall fuel injection in Feb 2025 after honda buena park fixed it had same hesitation issues between 30 50 mph after just 2 weeks after repair. Took it back had to pay 250 for dialysis no answer.. wanted 3000 to attempt to fix it but no guarantees.. Took car to local auto parts store hooked car to analysis problem and it says ECM is issue. Now why is a local auto parts store able to find problem for free but honda wants 3000 to guess. Honda america was no help. This is now the 3rd issues with fuel system only have 77000 miles on this car.

Since we purchased the vehicle back in 2019, the truck would stall and want to shut off during driving on and off. We received the recall information back in August and were told to call and make an appointment to service the recall. Back in August they said they didn't have enough parts in stock to service the recall and they would call me when more parts became available. Now we are in December and the truck is getting worse and we have not received any information regarding service to it. We have two young children in the car with us daily and are afraid that something might go wrong with the car.

3 episodes of unexpected and sudden braking for no reason. Twice on Sept 13 when ACC was in use and set at 70 mph the car hard-braked and dropped to 40-42mph rapidly, then it stopped braking and I was able to use the accelerator again- the braking lasted perhaps 10-15 seconds. The third episode was on Oct. 13 and the ACC was not on. I was driving manually at 55 mph and again the car suddenly braked and dropped to the same 40-42 range- maybe 5-10 seconds before the accelerator started to work again. There was no reason for the barking, no warning notices on the dashboard. Thank goodness there was no-one close behind me on any of these occasions, because the drop in speed was fast and hard.

My car has shifted from both park to neutral and drive to neutral on its own three times in the last six weeks. This has occurred when parked and when at a red light. My gear shifters are electric push buttons. This has previously occurred, been reported to NHTSA, and been checked by the dealership. I was told by the dealership that it was a battery issue and paid to replace my three and a half year old battery that tested in good condition. My new battery is about a year old and I am now having the same, very serious issues. This specific model has been recalled multiple times for continuous electrical issues. I called the dealership after the first new incident and was told if they cannot repeat it, they cannot fix it. It is not occurring everyday or seemingly with any pattern so I cannot replicate it for the dealership. In the most recent incident that occurred at the red light, my car stalled and would not shift out of neutral. I had to turn off the car and restart it twice before I could shift into drive and avoid being hit. This also occurred in previous incidences that took place at red lights.

On several occasions my 2019 Honda Pilot Touring AWD with Idle start/stop will not restart when the idle start/stop kicks in. At a stop light several times when I come to a stop and the engine will turn off and not restart when the idle start/stop engages. Very dangerous and a clear safety issue that Honda needs to rectify asap. I have read many others with the same issue occurring. Honda, please step up and do the right thing!

My 2019 Honda Pilot is repeatedly having problems, when the vehicle is started and running, first thing in the morning. There is hard jerking when the vehicle is shifting on low speed (ex: from first to second to third gear). This happens repeatedly in the morning start, then doesn't occur again on that day. It reoccurs again, the next day. Have taken the vehicle to the Dealer Service, they notice the issue but are unable to find the root cause. There is no Error Code generated. I find the same issue is being faced many other Honda Pilot owners, refer the link [XXX] . There was an earlier TSB [XXX] and [XXX], but that is only applicable up to 2017 models. Need a resolution from Honda, as this is not only a nagging unresolved problem, but also a potential safety hazard. My rear camera does not work in my car. I received a recall notice regarding this. It was unable to be completed because my Infotainment system is completely non functional at this point. This is an on going issue that I have had with this car almost immediately after purchase. The sensor system for my car are malfunctioning when the car is off. This causes the fuse system to malfunction and power the vehicle without keys being located near the vehicle. The car tries to start as well as the lights flash, dash turns on, and also the horn blares. The fuse system located under the steering wheel sounds like it will spark or blow fuses. The dealer is unable to fix the problem until May because the part is backordered due to many others having the same issue. This has been occurring for months. This issue required the removal of the horn fuse which is a public and personal safety hazard to drive without a functioning horn. The technician with Honda also mentioned I should remove the battery cable every night to prevent the car from draining the battery. The technician himself is also experiencing the same problem with his car.

The auto -stop feature is now completely defective. Since I hit 30,000 miles I have had issues with it infrequently completely shutting off the engine. Now the mileage is higher, the vehicle shuts off every time I stop at light or stop sign. I have approximately 56,000 miles on the vehicle. It has been regularly serviced at the dealership. I feel this is a major safety issue since other vehicles expect me to be moving one the light etc., changes. There are no warning lights or other symptoms prior to the failure.

Today is the 6th time our Honda has had issues either the automatic start/stop system failing when at a stop light. The car will stop and shut off like it is supposed to, but will not restart. Car needs to be put into park, turned off, restarted, shift back into drive. This happens while we are at risk of being hit from behind, honked at, and creates an unsafe and stressful driving situation. Car has had infotainment issues that seemed to be fixed, but had issues prior to today’s incident. Car has been only serviced at Honda. No warning lights etc. This issue was reported to our dealer last December and they said the could no replicate the issue. In August this happened again immediately after having the car serviced for an oil change. The car is putting my family and others at risk and there seems to be many others with this same problem happening.

I got my brand new Honda in 2019; the problems started right away, after a few weeks, the radio system would just turn off while driving. The whole console wouldn’t work. I would turn it on/off but still nothing. If I let the car set over night sometimes it may work the next day. They replaced my radio but it continued. [XXX] from Honda said it was finally in Error state and it was the Amplifier. [XXX] had ordered a new 1 & put it in 9/8/22, I thought my problems were over. On 9/12/22; I dropped my daughter off at school, I was leaving but I had to stop for traffic. I was about to pull out when the dash starting flashing/lighting up & I couldn’t go anywhere. The car was in Park and I was stuck. I pushed the car into drive, etc., but it wouldn’t go. I turned the car off/on to try to restart things but nothing. The brakes then locked up and I couldn’t do anything. I tried everything that I could think, I was blocking traffic not allowing people to leave from the school and cars from coming in. I called Honda Rd. Asst. But they said I had no longer a warranty as I am at 30,000 but I thought it was 36,000 miles. They connected me to AAA which I had to pay out of pocket for towing. I called [XXX] & my Serv. Advr. [XXX] so they knew that I was going to towed in. I couldn’t get the vehicle to turn off or on after awhile. 2 hrs. later; the tow truck had came, he had to jump start it to get it on his truck, he toke me to Honda. I waited over 4 hrs. but [XXX] said battery was good, he ran errors but couldn’t find anything wrong except the back up camera had an error but it seemed as though he didn’t believe that is the problem. I could take it home but he said if his wife was having issues, he wouldn’t want her to drive it. I left it w/Honda, [XXX] took it hm. to see if it would do what it did for me. I honestly don’t want to drive it, I am scared; what if something worse happens or pay to be towed again. I didn’t want a new vehicle to deal with issues. I received a transmission system problem warning and a blind spot info system warning. Also the spot on the dash that tells you if you are in Park, Neutral, Drive or Reverse has all of the letters on top of each other and they were flashing.

At a stop light the my car turned off and did not come back on for 5 mins. I am aware of the auto stop feature for fuel efficiency but I was in a turning lane. I literally could have been in an accident. The car brakes were locked in could not even put the car in neutral or park the car was just off completely. No signs of over heating, battery failure, etc.

Several times since 2019 while driving on not straight roads(slight curves either left or right), the Automatic Emergency Braking would activate, First I would get a big bold BRAKE in Red letters on the Display. I would be looking around, no cars are coming, I'm in the correct lane, not speeding and sometimes the car would actually start applying the brake(s) when there is absolutely no reason to apply the brakes. This has happened several times while we have driven the vehicle either on a 5 to 6 hour trip and maybe has occurred a total of 5 times since we have owned the vehicle

Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I will be taking it in on 9/29 for diagnosis, seeing that my VIN is not eligible for bulletin 20-051 when bulletin states " the rear view camera may not display when shifting to reverse" Service bulletin 20-047 was previously done on the 25th of September. Also, at the same time the rear camera stopped working, the rear wiper also stopped working. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No, it was not. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No, I had no indication prior to failure.

HONDA PILOT 2019 -DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY WITH MY WHOLE FAMILY WITH 3 KIDS AT THE BACK, AT A SPEED ~40MPH. THE LANE IN WHICH I WAS DRIVING (RIGHT) SLOWED DOWN, SO MOVED TO THE LEFT LANE. THAT LANE WAS ALSO SLOWING AS I CAN SEE THE CARS IN THE FRONT SLOWING DOWN AND STOPPING. MY ATTEMPTS TO STOP THE CAR PROVED FUTILE. THE CAR DID NOT STOP. 1) REPEATED PUMPING OF THE BREAKS DID NOT YIELD TO STOP THE CAR. HONDA PILOT COLLIDED WITH THE CAR IN THE FRONT. 2) THE CARS SYSTEM TO SLOW THE CAR WHILE APPROACHING A VEHICLE IN THE FRONT DID NOT FUNCTION. 3) AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AT ALL - NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. - COLLISION CENTER WAS LITERALLY BAFFLING, OVER THIS - HAVE NO CLUE HOW THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY WITH THIS KIND OF A COLLISION. I SERIOUSLY SUSPECT THAT THERE IS SOME THING SERIOUSLY FLAWED. SINCE I'M NOT AN AUTOMOBILE ENGINEER, I'M NOT SURE OF TECHNICALITY INVOLVED IN THIS. SOMETHING WENT WRONG TERRIBLY, THAT THE CAR DID NOT STOP ON BRAKING, CAR DID NOT SLOW DOWN, & THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WHEN INFORMED ABOUT THIS TO HONDA, HONDA WAS REFERRING TO GEICO, THAT THEY WILL DO THE INVESTIGATION. GEICO SAYS THAT ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM AND HONDA SHOULD DO THE INVESTIGATION. AS A COMMON MAN I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM INVESTIGATED AND NECESSARY ACTION TO BE TAKEN. I SEE THEY SUBROGATE EACH OTHER, WHICH IS NOT CORRECT. I'M NOT SURE HOW MANY CARS ARE RUNNING IN THIS CONDITION ON THE ROAD. PLEASE DO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO CHECK ON THIS. THE CAR DOWNSHIFTING AND STALLING FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ACCELERATE AGAIN. THIS HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING ON A NICE SUNNY DAY WITH NO LOOSE GRAVEL OR RAIN, IN A 4 WAY INTERSECTION MAKING A LEFT TURN ON GREEN WHICH MADE THE CAR STALLED AND WASN'T ABLE TO ACCELERATE FOR A GOOD 1 TO 2 SECOND. GOOD THING THERE WASN'T ANY OTHER VEHICLE THAT IS NEAR BY. THIS CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND BODY INJURY! THIS HAPPEN DURING TURNS AND STRAIGHT DRIVING. I'VE DISCUSS THIS EVERY TIME I GO AND GET THE CAR MAINTENANCE AT THE HONDA DEALERSHIP BUT THEY CANNOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM I'VE HAD ENCOUNTER. ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS I HAVE EXPERIENCED MY CAR NOTIFYING ME OF A TRANSMISSION ISSUE AND KICKING IT INTO NEUTRAL ON ITS OWN. BUT IT SHIFTED MY CAR INTO NEUTRAL. DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING OF IT. FINISHED THE THE GPS. TOOK ANOTHER MOMENT AND PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE. IT DID IT AGAIN AND IT WAS BACK IN NEUTRAL WHEN I WAS JUST IN REVERSE. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP IMMEDIATELY. THE NEXT DAY CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP. NOTHING WAS STORED IN THE DATABASE. AND THEY SAID THEY HAD NEVER HEARD OF IT AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. FAST FORWARD TO TODAY, AUTO START, GOT INTO CAR. PLACED IN DRIVE FOR A MOMENT AND BEFORE MOVING THE ALERT CAME UP AND CAR WAS IN NEUTRAL. IT DID IT THREE TIMES. TOOK A PHOTO OF THE ALERT WHICH IS EXACTLY AS QUOTED. SYSTEM WOULD GENERALLY RESET BUT ONLY AFTER 30 SECONDS OF NON VISIBILITY TO MY SPEED, CRUISE CONTROL STATUS ETC.. TOOK IT BACK FOR 4TH VISIT. THEY STATED THEY FOUND AN ISSUE WITH TAILGATE SENSOR. PICKED IT UP ON FRIDAY OCT 4TH AND IT STARTED MAKING THE CRACKLING NOISE IN THE SPEAKERS AGAIN YESTERDAY, OCT 5TH. LAST TIME, IT EVENTUALLY GOT WORSE UNTIL SPEEDOMETER STOPPED WORKING. PLAN TO MAKE ANOTHER APPT (MY 5TH) THIS WEEK. CRACLKING NOISE OCCURS WHEN STOPPED, WHEN DRIVING, WHEN VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF (AFTER BEING ON). VIDEO AND SPEEDOMETER DISPLAY STOP WORKING WHEN DRIVING.

THE TRANSMISSION HAS SLIPPED NOW TWICE WHILE DRIVING. ONCE ON THE HIGHWAY AND AGAIN YESTERDAY AFTER TURNING RIGHT ONTO A BUSY NARROW ROAD. THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND SCREEN DISPLAY HAS BLACKED OUT AND BECOME NON-FUNCTIONAL WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 6-7 TIMES (NO RADIO, NAVIGATION, OR ANYTHING FUNCTIONS WHEN THIS OCCURS). THE CAR HAS HAD TO BE TURNED OFF IN ORDER RESET THE SCREEN AND FUNCTION AGAIN. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TURN OFF THE CAR WHEN DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY OR NARROW COUNTRY ROAD. LASTLY, THE CAR HAS BREAKED UNNECESSARILY ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS DESPITE ADJUSTING THE SETTINGS TO NOT BE OVERLY SENSITIVE. ONCE IT CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP UNNECESSARILY, THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME. IT HAS STARTED BREAKING UNNECESSARILY WHILE DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AND ON A COUNTRY ROAD WHEN NO VEHICLES OR ANYTHING WERE AROUND. THESE SITUATIONS HAVE BEEN SCARY AND UNSETTLING.

OUR "NETWORK" COMPONENTS WERE NOT WORKING. AT HIGH SPEEDS, THE ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WOULD NOT BRAKE PROPERLY AND COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. THE "BRAKE" SENSOR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. UPON TAKING TO DEALER FOR SERVICE, SERVICE TECHNICIAN SAID THAT THIS "NETWORK" ISSUE HAS OCCURRED ON OTHER CARS. STRONGLY RECOMMEND AN IMMEDIATE INQUIRY TO THIS ISSUE AS IT AFFECTS THE SAFETY FEATURES TOUTED BY THE CAR MANUFACTURER, HONDA. THE SOLUTION IS TO RECONNECT THE NETWORK COMPONENTS, THIS HAS STILL NOT RESOLVED OUR ISSUE.

THE RADIO IN THIS VEHICLE FREEZES, PRODUCES STATIC FEEDBACK AND ELECTRICAL FEEDBACK WHILE OPERATING THE TOUCHSCREEN. SOUND FROM THE SPEAKERS BECOMES DISTORTED AND LACKING POWER. ELECTRICAL SURGING CAN BE HEARD. THIS OCCURRED WITHIN THE FIRST 1000 MILES SINCE PURCHASED NEW. REAR HATCH ALIGNMENT WAS ALSO NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY FROM THE FACTORY AND REQUIRED A BODY SHOP TO ATTACH IT CORRECTLY. SEAT FABRIC MATERIAL WAS ALSO DEFECTIVE AND COMING APART.

DRIVERS SIDE MIRROR SHAKES WHILE DRIVING. CENTER CONTROL STOPPED WORKING COMPLETELY. LOUD SOUND WILL COME OVER ON THE RADIO AND THEN ALL SYSTEMS STOP WORKING. BACK UP CAMERA DOES NOT WORK, RADIO DOES NOT WORK. VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF BUT THE CENTER CONTROL SCREEN IS FROZEN ON AND WILL NOT TURN OFF. WHEN ON THE BLUETOOTH, RECIPIENT CALLER CANNOT HEAR PERSON INITIATING THE CALL.

WHILE DRIVING MY 2019 HONDA PILOT AT 25MPH OR 60MPH, WITHOUT WARNING IN THE SPEEDOMETER AREA EMERGENCY MESSAGES BEGAN FLASHING: POWER STEERING, TRANSMISSION, LANE MITIGATION, BRAKES, CRUISE CONTROL, ENGINE, ETC. WITH A MESSAGE THAT SAYS STOP THE VEHICLE AND CALL THE DEALER. THEIR INSTRUCTION IS TO HOLD THE STOP/START BUTTON DOWN,UNTIL THE CAR STOPS AND THEN START THE VEHICLE,IF YOU CAN, AND HEAD FOR THE DEALERSHIP. THE PROBLEM IS THE MESSAGE CONTINUES WHILE YOU CONTINUE DRIVING. THE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT SHIFT PROPERLY, AND THE STEERING FEELS LESS RESPONSIVE. BY THE WAY YOU CANNOT USE THE REAR HATCH TO GET IN OR OUT OF THE VEHICLE. I WILL BE TAKING IT IN TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE SECOND TIME IN TWO WEEKS FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. NO EFFECTIVE REPAIR. I LIVE IN NORTH DAKOTA AND MY DEALERSHIP IS 130 MILES ONE WAY. MY WIFE IS NOW AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR. CAN YOU HELP ME. I BOUGHT THE CAR NEW.

THE PASSENGER SIDE MIRROR WON'T STAY AT THE PROPER ADJUSTMENT. YOU SET IT AND IT DROPS IN A FEW MINUTES SO YOU CAN'T SEE THE CARS BEHIND YOU. WHEN YOU DRIVE YOU HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING THE MIRROR. IT'S A SMALL PROBLEM BUT COULD BE A BIG PROBLEM IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT.
