Filing this complaint regarding a known safety defect affecting my 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport - specifically the steering damper column defect commonly referred to as "Death Wobble." ISSUE: My vehicle experiences violent and uncontrollable steering wheel oscillation when hitting bumps or road imperfections at highway speeds (typically above 55 mph). This phenomenon causes the entire front end to shake violently, requiring me to immediately slow down to regain control of the vehicle. This poses an extreme safety risk to myself, my passengers, and other motorists. I believe my vehicle has an issue with steering damper failure - the exact same defect addressed in Customer Satisfaction Notification V41 issued by FCA in June 2019. THE PROBLEM: While FCA issued CSN V41 covering approximately 192,000 2018-2019 Jeep Wranglers for steering damper defects, however my VIN was excluded from this notification despite experiencing the identical safety defect. FCA selectively applied the remedy to certain VINs rather than addressing all affected vehicles from these model years. SAFETY CONCERNS: This defect creates loss of vehicle control at highway speeds, significantly increasing crash risk. The NHTSA investigation (PE19-012) identified frame weld quality deficiencies and steering-related defects in 2018-2019 Wranglers affecting approximately 270,000 vehicles. Multiple investigations have documented steering looseness, steering wobble/shimmy, and loss of steering control in these model years. MANUFACTURER REFUSAL: Despite the known defect and my vehicle exhibiting the exact symptoms addressed in CSN V41, I believe once I take it in for service, Jeep will refuse to repair this safety issue under warranty, forcing me to bear the financial burden for a known manufacturing defect. REQUEST: I request NHTSA investigate why FCA limited CSN V41 to select VINs when the defect clearly affects a broader population of 2018-2019 Wranglers.

The problem occurs in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler, suddenly, typically after hitting a small bump or uneven section of pavement at around 60–70 mph. The entire front end begins to shake violently, and the steering wheel jerks rapidly back and forth, making it extremely difficult to maintain control of the vehicle. The only way to stop the shaking is to brake hard and slow down below 50 mph, which creates a dangerous situation. This violent steering vibration causes loss of directional stability and could easily lead to an accident if it happens in traffic or during lane changes. The sensation is so severe that it feels as if the front suspension or wheels are coming loose. I brought my Jeep to Wallace Jeep in Stuart, Florida where the technicians confirmed steering instability but stated that the steering damper is covered but the steering gear is not covered under warranty. I also contacted Jeep Cares, case # [XXX], and was told that Jeep “does not have to cover” my vehicle, even though it falls directly within the affected 2018–2020 Wrangler JL range identified in the [XXX]. v. FCA US LLC class action settlement related to the Death Wobble. The dealership’s refusal contradicts Jeep’s own Technical Service Bulletin 08-074-20 REV. E (“Improved Steering Feel”), which addresses steering wander, pull, and excessive play by replacing the steering gear and updating the EHPS software — exactly the symptoms I’m experiencing. This is a serious safety issue that occurs without warning and has not been resolved through the repairs or coverage Jeep has offered. The manufacturer’s denial of responsibility despite a known defect leaves drivers at risk of losing control at highway speeds. I am requesting that the NHTSA investigate and require Jeep/Stellantis to expand the recall or provide full coverage for all steering-related components contributing to this dangerous condition. My 2019 Jeep Wrangler is experiencing the "death wobble" every time I hit any uneven pavement while traveling at 60-65. This is extremely unsettling and could cause serious injury or death. Why haven't all the Jeeps during this time span been recalled considering the number of reports of this issue on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler?

The steering wheel started to shake and then escalated to the whole car shaking at which time I had to stop the vehicle on the highway to make it stop shaking. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

Our 2019 Jeep recently experienced the “death rattle” where the steering and suspension shake violently at speeds 65 mph and above. This recently occurred on a 70 mph freeway and nearly caused a sideswipe accident with a large semi as I was thrown from my travel lane. The Jeep owners forum (and Fiat Chrysler America) know about this issue with the steering dampener, but neither the NHTSA nor FCA has seen fit to issue a warning or recall. Our Jeep is never taken off-road and is under 60,000 miles. We are the original owners, and the Jeep is currently with the dealer.

while driving on Interstate Highyway aproximately 65 MPH and passing over a bridge the front end started shaking violently. I hit the brakes and it finally stopped as I slowed. It did this 6 times on the same trip and has repeated multiple times. I took it to the dealer and told them it had done this when I first bought it and they said they would have to evalaute it. When I first bought the car it had 19k miles on it with this death wobble. They said it needed a recall accomplished and it never happened again. Now the car has 71k miles on it and it is happening again. The dealer says they have to order a part. I believe the car is unsafe to drive on an interstate with this condition. Also owners with similar Jeeps have to be aware that this condition which was fixed with a recall can return after so many miles. They will not tell me the component or part number of the component.

I hit a bump at 65 mph. Then my jeep started to shake from side to side so viciously that I thought it was going to fall apart. I did some research and it’s called a death wobble! For some reason there are no recalls on my specific Vehicle .

While driving at interstate speed and passing over an irregular surface the jeep started to shimmy and I later found out it was called "Death Wobble". The jeep started to wonder across the lanes of the highway and I had to slow to 45 mph to stop the shimmy and get control of the vehicle, I assume the the problem is in the steering or the front suspension. After talking to a mechanic I found out that a recall has already been performed to replace the steering vibration damper. The mechanic could not find any loose or damaged front end parts upon inspection. Since the initial incident the shimmy has happened multiple times at slower and slower speeds. There was no prior warning by the jeep instrument panel.

The internal cluster went out all of a sudden. Stenallis has no part for us to repair it with. We have been without the car and no loaner for almost 4 months. There is a recall on this part on this model in this year. However, Stenallis won't recall my particular car which is currently affected. The recall should expand because it is on more models than they admit.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the interlock brake system had failed and needed to be replaced; however, the part was not available. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that on another occasion, while her husband was driving 25-30 MPH, the vehicle lost power steering functionality and the engine seized. The contact stated that the gear shifter failed to function as intended and there were several warning lights illuminated. The contact's husband was unable to pull over to the side of the road. A Police Officer assisted with traffic control. The vehicle was towed to the residence and then towed to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The vehicle was not repaired. We have a failed internal cluster on 1c4hjxdn8kw649723 . There was recall vehicle is covered under recall 30B / 24V-652. However, Sternalis will not recall our vehicle. It has been almost 4 months without a cluster. We are not allowed to buy one and Sternalis won't supply one for us to purchase.

Immediate Attention Required – Vehicle Left in Dangerous, Inoperable Condition by Krietz Auto Dealership in Frederick, MD. I am writing with extreme urgency to request your immediate attention and intervention regarding a critical issue involving Krietz Auto Dealership. I have been a loyal customer of Krietz Auto since I purchased my vehicle from them in 2020. Recently, I brought my truck in due to a loud noise coming from under the hood. I was told the rear differential needed to be replaced. To my knowledge, there were no other major issues at the time. After the dealership had my vehicle in their possession for over a month, I was shocked to receive it back in far worse condition. Upon picking up the vehicle, it could not idle without overheating. I attempted to drive home with my young child in the vehicle, only to realize it could not travel over 30 miles per hour without the temperature spiking dangerously high. Tragically, the vehicle has now completely broken down and is no longer drivable. I am being forced to have it towed to another repair shop at my own expense. What was originally a routine service appointment has now escalated into a situation that has left me without transportation and has put the safety of both myself and my child in serious jeopardy. This level of negligence is unacceptable. I trusted Krietz Auto with my vehicle and my family’s safety. I now fear the damage was either worsened or created during the time the vehicle was in their care. I am respectfully requesting that this situation be thoroughly investigated and immediately rectified. This is no longer just a service complaint — it is a matter of public safety and accountability.

We are having continual issues with the visors on our Jeep where both the driver and passenger visors fall out of their mounting brackets. Not only do they impair vision, but the drivers one has caught in the steering wheel and almost caused a crash. Please note this vehicle is used solely for highway use and has never been off road. I spoke with the dealer and they said this is a known issue and recommended I purchase 3rd party aftermarket clips on Amazon or alternatively they could replace the whole assembly for a significant fee.

Sun visors on driver and passage side pop off while driving. They are not held in position due to faulty parts and cause a hazard while driving because they swing uncontrollably while in motion. Not safe. Dealership has not helped with this hazard. Ive researched and this is a wider issue with other jeep owners all experienced the same driving hazard.

Our rear axle broke while driving on the highway 600 miles from home with our 2 children. Vehicle was towed to the dealership where it was confirmed. Vehicle has now sat for 3 months because the part is on backorder. It seems as though this is a common issue if they can't keep up with the part needed. There is no warning lights or any way to know this happens until you get stuck. We had the vehicle in the shop not long before getting brakes and an Inspection and there were no issues noted.

Back window keeps exploding and it’s parked in a covered space. Temps have been ok nothing super cold . Only happens when I’m home. Nothing was take out of my car so it wasn’t vandalism cause I had 50 cash in the seat that fell out of my pocket.

The far driver and passenger sides of the windshield do not defrost in sub freezing weather. The windshield defrost duct vents are not adequate to force hot air to either side of the center vent. This results in windshield and wiper icing over in temperatures below ~20° F causing drastically reduced visibility 12 or more inches from each side of the windshield. The front windshield defrost doesn’t work as it should. The windshield will ice up on the driver side and passenger side and create major visibility issues. The blower only seems to blow heat to the center of the windshield and not the sides

I noticed during colder time the windshield was not defrosting the edges of the windshield. I took it to the dealer to have them check my defroster, They claim it is working as intended. So I just let the windshield defrost more before driving. But during recent snow storm, I noticed the defroster only defrosted the center of the windshield while driving and with constant snow the build up on the edges was making the edges not clear causing blind spots. This is very dangerous as view is obstructed.

The steering has become very loose, causing the vehicle to feel as though it were drifting with every bump. Entering into a parking lot, or going over speed bumps cause the vehicle to feel as though you are jerking the steering wheel back & forth, with the whole body of the vehicle rocking. Changing lanes requires the upmost care when merging, so as not to cause too much movement, otherwise the entire vehicle rocks back & forth as though you were off-roading on extremely uneven turf. God forbid you attempt to avoid hitting something that jumps in front of you car; that is bound to cause the car to flip! Doesnt matter if you're traveling 5mph or 65 mph, the drifting is obvious & pretty scary.

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY GOING 50MPH AND THE FRONT END STARTED VIGOROUSLY SHAKING SO MUCH THAT I HAD TO PULL OVER AND STOP. IT SHOOK ME TO THE POINT THAT I WAS DIZZY. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS CALLED THE DEATH RATTLE, HOWEVER WHEN I TOOK IT THE THE DEALERSHIP TO GET IT FIXED I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS NO LONGER CALLED THAT. Issues with corrosion around door and hood hinges which risk weakening the structural strength of these panels. This issue is caused by the manufacturing process of using dissimilar metals and is a well documented issue with these vehicles

I noticed multiple of welds on my 2019 Jeep wrangler's frame that have potential to catastrophically fail, including the front track bar bracket weld which was recalled for 2018 JL Wranglers. My local Jeep dealership (Larry H Miller Jeep in Sandy Utah), "inspected" the welds and said they were fine. However, they never had a welding inspector look at the welds, and when I brought this up with management I was kicked off of their property. I reached out to Chrysler customer service on 3/20/2023 and they said there was nothing they could/would do. This is a known problem in all Jeep JL wranglers and I hope NHTSA will step in and force FCA to buy back all JLs with bad welds, before people start dying.

Paint is bubbling a peeling on all doors next to the hinges. This is due to the fact that Jeep recently started using aluminum doors, which prematurely corrode around the steel hinges. Jeep has offered to repaint the areas where the paint has peeled off, which is obviously just a temporary fix. While this may seem like a cosmetic problem, it is indeed a major safety hazard as corroded door hinges significantly compromises the overall structural integrity of the vehicle.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has a bulletin about coolant leaks in Jeep Wranglers with 2.0L engines: Bulletin: 07-001-20 REV. A, dated April 9, 2020 Vehicles affected: Jeep Wranglers built before November 30, 2019 with a 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo Engine or 2.0L I4 DOHC DI Turbo Etorque Engine Issue: The coolant inlet tube fasteners may become loose, causing a coolant leak Solution: Remove the coolant inlet tube fasteners, clean the threads, add Thread Loc, and reinstall Tightening torque: Tighten to 11N∙m (8ft. lbs.) A coolant leak can cause the engine to overheat and potentially lead to engine failure.  Engine fan was not shutting off after leaving a covered parking garage and an engine alert appeared and displayed that the engine was overheating. Had my jeep towed home. We were able to see that the main coolant reservoir was empty and that there was dry coolant all around the engine. Our jeep has not been fixed and is not drivable. Need guidance as there isn’t a recall on this but a known issue, and you have a bulletin out about it.

Every light started blinking and the auto start started flashing and said auto start disabled. The jeep slowly started to die. I pulled over off the high way thankfully in a safe spot and it locked up. The steering wheel locked the shifter couldn’t move. Turned the car off and back on it was clicking but not turning off. Had to get it towed. There were no loud noises no oil leaking nothing. No indicators before hand of the Jeep needing oil change or misfiring. Got it diagnosed and they said my engine seized up and I had blew a piston. WITH NO WARNING or indicator of anything in the months weeks days prior. My engine light never came on.

The contact pulled over the shoulder of the roadway, but the vehicle failed to restart. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer unrepaired. The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving 75 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed, and the engine continued to rev up quickly, immediately followed by an abnormally loud sound coming from the engine compartment. Additionally, the contact stated that metal shards were seen coming from the vehicle onto the roadway. The contact was veered to the side of the roadway and had the vehicle towed to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V116000 (Power Train) however, the parts for the repair had not yet been developed. The board computer started to mention „service shifter“ when I was driving. Then the engine switched in neutral when I was still driving, telling a problem about the shifter. Later other systems failed, for example the servo for the steering, ehat has been very dangerous, as the steering wheel did not react anymore and I had to do a emergency break. Also, the engine could not be stopped.

While driving, traction control light came on. Eventually went away after shutting off vehicle, but engine light came on. Things escalated a week later when all warning lights starting coming on while I was driving and I lost power steering. I took to the dealership and they said several wires had rubbed against a condenser. The fixed the wires. Approx. 2 weeks go by with no problems. Then my Jeep was idling in a parking lot and all the lights start coming on and what I assume was the engine fan started running. It sounded like the Jeep was going to blow up the way the fan was running. I shut the Jeep off and when turned back on, the engine light was on and was able to drive it home. Took it to the dealership and as sitting in the parking lot, it again had all the warning lights going off and the fan went crazy again. It has now been at the dealership for two weeks. No answers. I’ve done research on line and there are lots of people experiencing the same problem. Needs a recall! This is absolutely dangerous to be occurring when driving.

Vehicle engine light came on and then gave me a service shifter alarm error. With the error I lost power steering traveling thru the mountains on the interstate in the snow. The dash lights started flickering followed by numerous fault codes.

THIS JEEP HAS BEEN TO THE DEALER 4 TIMES PREVIOUSLY FOR A SIMILAR ISSUE. THIS INCIDENT, WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH ALL THE INSTRUMENTS STARTED GOING CRAZY (PREVIOUSLY HAPPENED MANY TIMES). SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP. THE POWER STEERING WAS STILL WORKING, BUT THE WHEEL WOULD ONLY TURN AROUND 1 INCH IN EITHER DIRECTION. BRAKING WAS NORMAL. MANEUVERED THE JEEP OFF THE ROAD AND HAD TOWED TO RON CARTER CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE DEALERSHIP IN LEAGUE CITY, TX. THE DEALERSHIP HAS HAD THIS VEHICLE 4 TIMES IN THE PAST FOR THIS ISSUE. IN THE PAST THE STEERING HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED, BUT THE VEHICLE WON'T START OR THE PARKING BRAKE WILL BE SET AND YOU CAN'T MOVE OR OTHER WEIRD DIFFERENT STUFF HAPPENS. THE STEERING ISSUE IN THIS PAST INCIDENT IS SERIOUS. WHEN THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER INQUIRED WHAT HAPPENED HE TOLD ME HE HAS TOWED PROBABLY 20 OTHER NEWER JEEP WRANGLERS WITH SIMILAR ISSUES. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME LAST TIME WE BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN AND IT WAS STILL ACTING UP THAT THERE WERE 15 FAULTS STORED. THE ISSUE USUALLY CLEARS ITSELF UP BY THE TIME WE GET IT TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER CLAIMS THEY HAVE TALKED WITH CHRYSLER AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHATS WRONG AND HAVE JUST BEEN THROWING DARTS REPLACING VARIOUS THINGS. IF THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER IS RIGHT ON HOW MANY VEHICLES HES TOWED WITH THIS PROBLEM THERE IS A SERIOUS ELECTRICAL / COMPUTER ISSUE GOING ON WITH THESE VEHICLES THAT IS GOING TO CAUSE ACCIDENTS.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the message "Service Shifter" was displayed and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that upon turning off and restarting the vehicle, only the check engine warning light remained illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated while driving on a back road at 25 MPH, the windshield wipers engaged independently, and the power steering became inoperable. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact immediately pulled over, and the vehicle was towed to a local independent mechanic, where the failure could not be duplicated. The local dealer was contacted but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was advised that the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,201.

I have had the recall completed but now my car to give a “service transmission “ message and that there is a problem with my clutch getting hot. There is no burning smells. are no issues such as rough gear changes or engine issues. It states the clutch is overheating and I’ve barely left the driveway. And this is after sitting still overnight Didn’t the recall fix this issue? It’s terrifying as it comes up stating that the transmission needs to be service then all information as to what gear you are in disappears while you are driving. This isn’t a recall fix it’s a nightmare. It wasn’t having a problem before but now it warning messages act like it’s going to burn up. There is NO burning smells no rough gear changes. Afraid to drive it.

First time it happened I was stopped and the vehicle complete Shut off. I had to shift to park and restart. Second time, coming to a stop the vehicle abruptly shut completely off and directed me to shift it to park and restart. Same thing had happened a third time and now I have parked the vehicle until my service appointment.

Service Axle Locker System warning light and message warning have been coming in for over a year. I've taken the vehicle for service and dealer stated no trouble found. After 4 wheeling the axle lockers do not disengage properly and require me to drive for miles before the axle lock light indicator goes away. I've been getting the warning light more frequently when I drive and the warning message service axle locker system displays. I've also had rear differential noise/clunking when moving from park to reverse or drive. Dealer stated that is normal.

I drove over a rough patch/bump in the road. A ton of warning messages and failure lights activated on the dash. In addition to the check engine light, there were warnings for electronic stability protection, sway bar disconnect, ABS failure, power steering failure, shift lever malfunction. In addition to these malfunctions a failures, the windshield wipers turned on un-commanded and the radiator fan went into the highest possible speed, the digital engine temperature gauge failed, and both the digital and analog speedometers failed. This happened on a arterial road, losing power steering and braking at ~30mph unexpectedly was a shock, but manageable. At highway speeds it likely would have led to an accident or collision. Unfortunately, I don't have any documentation of the failure lights and systems failing, but it had happened several times prior to this occurrence, albeit only with dash warning lights, no actual system failures. After the system failures, I stopped driving the vehicle. The problem appears to be somewhat widespread and is caused by a failing CAN-C BUS. A quick google search will reveal NUMEROUS descriptions on the same dangerous issue. This thread seems to clearly expIain the root of the issue with the CAN-C BUS: [XXX] I replaced my old CAN-C BUS (p/n 68321746AA) with a new part and it appears to have resolved the issue. I have saved the old CAN-C BUS for inspection if NHTSA is interested. It looks exactly like the failed BUS in the linked reddit thread above. Lost communication on ABS, traction control , 4wd service, vehicle put itself in auto park, steering wheel locked up and wasn't able to turn the steering wheel, dashboard lights flickering, try turning on vehicle but wasn't responding until a 3 minutes later , check engine light is still on but doesn't have any store messages on dashboard, I have a video of it.

2019 wrangler jl sport 2 door manual. 68,000miles. started with flashing abs light 2months ago with then start stop not working given i replaced the aux battery 3 months before this happened delearship said both batteries needed replaced so i did that. moving forward 2 weeks agos i got all these codes ,picture attached ,ran the scanner because i got my dash lit up with every warning you can possibly imagine. every time it happened ( more then 5times , less then 10)it wouldnt let me turn it over to off but wound turn over to acc. while making a weird noise(video attached) .finally it will turn over to off..one day on the turnpike the jeep did this but this time i lost my power steering. the dealership has had it now for over a week. the pulled over 60codes for communication. they clear the codes and have driven it over 100miles not being able to replicate the-same problem i had and no codes are popping up. they still have the jeep.

About 2-2.5 months ago, our 2019 Jeep Wrangler completely stalled out at a stop light. At the time it stalled, the dash started flashing and gave me many warning lights. I was unable to put the transmission in park in order to try to start the vehicle again. After many attempts, I was finally able to place in park and start the vehicle. I then went thru a drive thru and it did the same thing and left me stranded in the drive thru lane without being able to start it for about 10 minutes. The next day, I was on my way to work and while traveling on the highway at 75 miles per hour, the vehicle stalled out, the dash wigged out and I lost all control of the vehicle including steering. The engine revved up to a higher RPM and I was unable to put it in neutral to try to slow it down and control the vehicle to a safe stop on the side of the highway. There were a couple of close calls with other vehicles due to the inability to control the steering or the engine speed. The next day, I took the Jeep to the dealership and when scanned for codes, there was over 150 codes including losing communication with the Body Control Module. Dealership test drove and the tech had the vehicle replicate the issues and leave him stranded 7 times in one day from and back to the shop. At this time, my concern is the safety of my family. For now it appears that the issue has been resolved, but there have been many similar instances reported with the same danger of crashing. Paperwork obtained from my dealership reflects there was a module that was replaced when the vehicle had less than 8,000 miles that was supposed to fix this issue, however it occurred to our jeep that had less than 25,000 miles on it. The paperwork also states "!!Attention!! This vehicle may have had 7 visits, 69 days down and 8 repeat repairs, service personnel should notify dealership service management and engage FCA service and parts resources." Doesn't this fall under the Lemon Law?

On multiple occasions, as my Wife and two children 8 and 3 were on their way home from school the steering column locked up and my wife couldn't do anything but coast into a ditch. When the steering wheel locks up, each time it throws messages of loss of communication to the steering wheel, loss communication of the shifter, and loss communication to the brakes. This problem has happened three different times after the dealerships service department has put on multiple parts to try to fix the issue with no resolution. This is a huge safety issue, and we are terrified that this problem will continue to happen. The biggest concern is, what happens if the steering wheel locks up and we cannot avoid a serious accident that could harm our family or other motorists on the road. The manufacturer has recommended we put on abs control module, PCM, and Lower gear box. We have reached out to the dealership and to Jeep about this issue with no help given other than to pay out of our own pocket to fix the problem.

SERVICE BRAKES

The front left (drivers side) caliper stuck and the the brake line needs replaced. The caliper sticking was causing extreme heat that could have caused a fire as well as brake failure. The dealership confirmed that the parts need replaced. No warning messages were ever appear. Additionally, the left brake line from Mopar is not availalbe and there are almost a 1000 on back order. The Jeep is not drivable and no parts available for the foreseeable future to fix the problem.

Calibers keep locking up making the brake system go bad. I had my calibers replace, which is weird because they almost never go bad. My jeep has only 60k miles on it. Now I'm back at the dealership getting them replace 200 miles later. This needs to be inspected.

ABS module has failed, according to dealership. The car has been in the service department at the dealership four times now in the past month. All of the warning lights go on, the car drives sluggishly, and I am told the car is undrivable due to the potential loss of brakes. Apparently there is a huge backorder of this part, but I purchased a max care extended service warranty and I feel that the dealership needs to make good on this. It's becoming a breech of contract.

The vehicle started to have braking issues where the brakes would sometimes apply both front brakes or one one front brake causing the vehicle to swerve erratically when braking. Sometimes the right front brake would also stay applied for extended periods of time causing the vehicle to pull hard and the braking system to overheat so hot that I burned my fingers on the tire rim after parking the vehicle and inspecting. The Jeep has been at the dealership for repairs for over 7 months under warranty and they don't know how to fix the vehicle and are not willing to replace it! This is a massive safety concern that should make everyone think twice before buying a Jeep when the brand wont even take care of there customers!

When pressing on the breaks , the brakes required moderate amount of force to push in order for the vehicle to come to a complete stop or to yield, there is a loud hissing , leaking sound that is also heard from under the hood. This noise does not seem to go away even after taking it back to dealership to get it diagnosed, the brakes remain a little hard to press on as well. The dealership said it was a vacuum booster brake that was wearing out so they switched it but the noise remains the same and so does the forge to push down on the brakes . This is a dangerous factor to be dealing with as the brakes are something that is used constant in a vehicle to idle your car or to stop. According to the dealership this complaint is very common amongs other Jeep owners about the brake not functioning 100%, there are no warning signs or lights that ever popped up as well . Please help fix this can cause death if brakes fail at some point while I own the Jeep .

Dash panel started flashing all gauges went to zero. All warning lamps lit ABS failure, power steering stopped, service antilock breaks, service electronic stability control, auto park disabled and service shift warnings started popping up. I was going 70 mph on the highway when the power steering went out. Luckily I didn’t hit anyone.

ABS light came on, car will stop on its own while driving 70 miles an hour and kill the acceleration. steering will go out. speedometer will not work. check engine light will come on. gear shift gets stuck in place. This car is a major safety hazard that Jeep has ignored. I have gotten stuck on the side of the road on bridges, highways side streets due to the fact the gear shift will not move out of park and all the lights come on in the car.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport - while driving the steering wheel locks up and all lights on dashboard come on. Several error messages "Auto Park Disabled", "Speed Control Messaging Unavailable", "Service Antilock Brake System", "Service Transmission Continue in DRIVE. Do Not Shift or Turn Off Engine" - to name a few. The car will not shut off, I had to remove a fuse to get the truck to turn off. No dealer or mechanic can assess or fix. Major Saftey concern. There needs to be a recall. Im out thousands of dollars trying to fix. My warranty expired the truck is a lemon. 04/16/2023 UPDATE- Letter from Attorney Gen. Off. of Illinois along with consumer complaint online form that states- Consumer had recall repairs done, issue still not fixed. Wants class action lawsuit. Requesting an exchange or refund for repairs, monetary compensation for pain & suffering, from anxiety and missed days at work from being stranded.

While driving with no warning the fuse array went bad causing the Jeep to lose all power including power steering and started jerk and pulsate. Everything turned off and left the vehicle stranded for several minutes in the middle of a dark street at night. Hazard lights did not work as well during this time. After continuously pushing the start button it started back up with the dashboard showing all different warnings with the clearest one in the middle of the dash reading “stop safely the vehicle will shut off soon” the vehicle was taken to the local dealership where it did the same thing for them. Later it was confirmed by them it was the fuse array.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara numerous fault vehicle slows down speedometer loss abs brake warning ,4 wheel drive service warning, blind spot warning, complete loss of power while driving. Taken to the Jeep dealer was told no fault codes available come get it. So making preparation to pick up vehicle finally dealer service reported that vehicle faulted with those code. I had the vehicle towed prior to service due to the transmission not being able to shift into any gear. There are several reports online with same problem total electrical system failure. Keep n mind vehicle has approximately 7500 miles. Vehicle currently under what they call Star service because Dealer has no idea to fix it.

2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited---while driving the vehicle on a city street, without any warning, all of the dash lights and any/all warnings lights started to flash. Within 200 feet of this occurring, the vehicle lost power, including ability to control the steering, and the car came to an immediate stop. During this shut down instance, I was able to vigorously hold the steering wheel to guide the car to the side of the road, avoiding the traffic that came. After the car shut down, the dash lights and windshield wipers were still going off. It still had electrical power. It would not start back up. I had to have it towed to the dealership. It is currently being looked at by the local dealership. 05-29-22

WHILE DRIVING DOWN A WINDING MOUNTAIN ROAD, THE "ELECTRONIC THROTTLE" WARNING CAME ON AS DID VSC, ABS, CHECK ENGINE AND ELECTRICAL. THE STEERING BECAME VERY STIFF AND THE THROTTLE UNCONTROLLABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS ESSENTIALLY OUT OF CONTROL. WE TOOK IT TO A DEALER FOUR TIMES, EACH TIME IT WASN'T FIXED. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT A DEALER AND FCA IS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. I HEARD THE MECHANIC SAY THEY HAD OTHERS THAT WERE DOING THIS. FCA REFUSES TO DESCRIBE WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE TO ME BECAUSE IT'S PROPRIETARY. THEY ESSENTIALLY WANT TO TRY STUFF, THEN HAVE ME RISK MY LIFE TESTING IT TO SEE IF IT WORKS. THE PHOTO IS THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENED, ON AN INTERSTATE GOING STRAIGHT. THIS IS A 2019 WRANGLER RUBICON WITH 12K MILES AND COMPLETELY STOCK. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS DEFECT AND FCA DOESN'T KNOW OR DOESN'T WANT TO SAY WHAT IT IS. THEY SOUND LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO COVER UP THE PROBLEM WITH SOME SORT OF HACKED UP SOFTWARE FIX, BUT THE SOFTWARE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY UPDATED. I AM WORRIED THAT SOMEONE WILL BE HURT OR WORSE IF THIS HAPPENS TO THEM.

My pulled passenger seat forward to get access to rear seat. When I tried to return the seat to secure position it would not latch in place and plastic and metal parts including a spring fell out onto floor. Now the seat just slides back and forth. If that would have broke with a passenger in the seat they would have been severely injured. My Jeep only has 24747 miles on it. It is out of warranty and the dealer wants $716.34 plus tax to repair it. This is outrageous and very dangerous. This vehicle is designed for of road usage. The seats should be much more durable.

The contact also found an unknown plastic part on the floor in the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the front driver’s side seat frame to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,661.

Drivers seat became stuck folded forward making the vehicle undrivable. Needed to have the vehicle towed to the dealership for repair. Luckily this failure happened when we were in a safe location with cell coverage. The problem occured without warning after folding the driver's seat forward to access the rear seat. This is similar to Jeep's TSB 23-020-19 - "Front Seat Will Not Unfold and Lock Into Position / June 20, 2019". However the dealer tells me that the problem is not the same as the TSB and the seat frame needs to be replaced. This is the second time we have experienced this failure. The previous time I was able to return the seat to the normal position after much difficulty. In that case I was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer for repair. That instance was apparently what is described in the TSB. Based on the owners forums this is a very common problem. It is obviously a major safety issue as it can occur without warning and strand the occupants.

While driving I received random warnings on the dashboard: airbag failure, power steering failure, shift control failure, ABS failure. After the flashing of all those warning, I lost the power steering and the ability to shift from Drive to Neutral. My inability to steer the car and loss of speed put my passengers and myself at risk and the safety of cars driving on the opposite lane at risk as I was able only to make very wide turns. I took the car to the dealer and after about two weeks the mechanic narrowed down the problem to a failure of the ABS module and told me that that part is on backorder nation wide and may take over 3 months to come. I was advised to not drive the car or to drive at my own risk.

Shortly after starting the vehicle and entering roadway, the power steering failed and shortly following an error came on regarding the ABS system. I was able to pull the vehicle over safely, restart and the issue seemed resolved in that use. Next day, shortly after starting vehicle, same errors occurred, but self corrected. The day after that, shortly after starting the vehicle, all systems on the front panel cycled through several error codes, when attempting to shut the vehicle off to restart it, the vehicle would not shut off. Using the standard transmission, I was able to create a stall situation, but the vehicle's electrical would not shut off. After removing the key fab, the electrical system kept activating power systems, even turning on the windshield wipers when the control was in the off position. After 20 minutes and several attempts I was finally able to get the system to completely shut off.

ABS module went out in July of 2024, after being replaced in February 2024. Jeep does not have any of the parts available, the same part was recalled for the Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500. My jeep has been unable to drive since the part malfunctioned.

JEEP ONLY HAS 3800 MILES ON IT. MY FAMILY OF 5 WERE ALL IN THE VEHICLE ON THE FREEWAY WHEN THE JEEP ELECTRICAL SYSTEM STARTED SHUTTING OFF AND ON. I bought this 2019 jeep wrangler and it is still under manufacturer warranty on the transmission and the steering damper . The transmission in my car was leaking bad and I took it to the jeep dealership and they did not know what was wrong or how to fix it . They are all incompetent and stupid and unprofessional and know nothing about cars also the recall on the steering damper was done 2 years ago and now I had to replace it because the car was dangerously shaking very bad . The transmission is still under manufacturer warranty and I took it to another shop and he fixed the leak in the transmission and he said it’s it’s the cooler line connector in the transmission so this repair that cost me 478 dollars should be refunded to me from Jeep manufacturer since it’s still under warranty

This issue has been going on for over a year now. Vehicle shakes violently when leaving uneven surfaces such as coming off of a bridge on the highway. You have to come to a complete stop to get it to stop shaking. This is very dangerous when on a highway. Vehicle has been inspected by local dealership and parts have been ordered but continue to be on backorder. The dealership states that they have seen other jeeps with this issue. I personally know people who have also experienced this, and not all have the same year as my jeep.

I experienced the Jeep Death Wobble on 5 occasions. All five happened at 60 mph or above. The car would suddenly shake violently and felt like it was falling apart. I feared i couldn't steer it, which I had a hard time doing, until i calmed down and started braking. When i got to a slower speed it went back to normal. The front track bar was replaced and an alignment was needed again at 12,000 miles. I first noticed the car going out of alignment before this all happened, then the wobble followed at higher speeds. It was a very scary experience all five times. I read about it and found that the last few times when i hit a small bump it would activate the wobble until i slowed down. This is very upsetting for me as my daughter also drives the car and I feel it is now unsafe since the car is out of alignment once again after 3 months. Jeep needs to address this ASAP. The car has 13,000 miles and is a 2019.

When on the highway going over 55 MPH and hitting a bump the steering wheel and entire vehicle begins to move rapidly and violently from side to side. This causes your vehicle to feel like it's losing control. The only way to stop this from continuing is to slow the vehicle down significantly. This presents a significant danger of losing control because of the shaking or being hit from behind on the highway due to slowing down significantly. The dealer has attempted to repair this defect twice within the last 2 months by replacing the steering damper and it is still occurring. No warning messages are illuminated when this occurs.

I have a 2019 Jeep wrangler. Within the first 3 months of having my jeep I experienced issues with the battery. I came to a stop at a stop sign, the auto on/of turned the vehicle off but then it wouldn't come back on when I tried to drive. It showed a battery light and the auto on/off sign with an exclamation mark first then all lights on the dashboard started flickering, windshield wipers came on, and then it started beeping. I had to get a tow truck to get my car out the street. When I took it to the dealership they said both batteries needed to be replaced. Since then I have had the same situation happen twice for a total of 3 times in my 1 year of having the car. Each time I have to tow the jeep to the dealership and replace the batteries. They check the fuse but can't figure out the cause. As for the steering, I cannot go over 80 mph without experiencing "death wobble".

My Jeep is experiencing the death wobble when driving in the highway. Which causes the jeep to violently shake the right side of the front wheel. I have taken it to two jeep dealerships and was told that it can be due to the suspension or differential. I have not drove this jeep on rough terrain or 4 by 4. The dealership is looking into the suspension system for the death wobble problem. The jeep currently stands at 40,000 miles. I also have a warning lamp that shows to service the axle locker system. According to the dealer, the axle locker system is an electrical issue and not a mechanical one. I wanted to report this problem as it is a safety issue and it is dangerous to drive in this condition.

AS I DROVE OFF THE LOT I NOTICED THE INSTRUMENT PANEL HAD A DISTORTION ON IT. DEALERSHIP WAS UNABLE TO FIX (AFTER A SOFTWARE UPGRADE). MORE CONCERNING IS THE CAR SHAKES VIOLENTLY WHEN HITTING A BUMP IN THE ROAD. I TOOK IT IN 3 TIMES WITHOUT RESOLUTION. ALWAYS ON THE HIGHWAY, AT FIRST AT HIGH SPEEDS, NOW EVEN GOING BELOW THE SPEED LIMIT. SOMETIMES IT RESOLVES ON IT'S OWN, BUT LATELY I HAVE TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP TO MAKE THE SHAKING STOP. (WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS WHEN DRIVING ON A 65MPH HIGHWAY), THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES LEFT TO RIGHT AND IS VERY LOOSE DURING THESE TIMES. After coming to a complete stop every time, the Auto Start/Stop kicks in and when it is time to accelerate the Jeep stalls, takes itself out of drive, lights start flashing, radio goes off, and windshield wipers start going. After getting through the disorientation of everything happening and cars honking at you or jamming on breaks to not hit you; one will need to re-step on the break, put the vehicle in park, restart the Jeep (if it starts, sometimes it takes 3 times pushing the start button or it may need a jump started. This is such a dangerous situation. I bought the Jeep in Oct of 2019. Had Batteries (both) replaced in Jan 2021. Still under warranty i took back to them this past Saturday, they said the main battery needed a 117 minute charge and the smaller battery was fine. they let it sit for 45 minutes and it started right up for them. The next morning same thing, struggling to turn over. I am again going to take to dealership as much as i do not want to as this is an on going issue not getting resolved.

Clutch failed at 4000 miles and 3 months of ownership on a brand new 2019 Wrangler Unlimited. Blame placed on me, 2 dealerships before they would do it with out charge. 3 months later 1st recall comes out. Also when clutch was failing the Start/Stop system said it needed service. The clutch went a second time after 30,000 miles. was forced to pay 2900, second recall came out at same time and the recall was done when new clutch was installed. Took almost a month and no loaner car or rental available. Now clutch starting to smell and fail, 30,000 miles later. Poor clutch, recalls did nothing to actually address the prob. The start/stop system failed twice leaving my jeep in run but the engine off and would not start. Kept saying push in clutch and start, but it would never start. all electrical in the car stayed on for 2 hours. A PCM needed to be replaced, 2+ weeks without a vehicle. Start/Stop failed again in traffic this time, needing to be pushed. Replaced battery, thought that it failed because the battery needed replacement. The problem still persists.

2 Batteries were replaced in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler on 9/10 at Arrigo DCJF in West a palm Beach Florida. A battery sensor Was ordered for future service. Drive Jeep to Atlanta area on 9/15. On 9/17 check engine light came on. Set appointment with Palmer Jeep in Alpharetta Ga. 1/2 block from arriving a dealership my Jeep caught FIRE and engine compartment was fully engulfed in minutes. Jeep was towed to Palmer.

PUSH BUTTON START WITH KEYLESS ENTRY. VEHICLE DOES NOT GIVE AUDIBLE WARNING WHEN YOU LEAVE THE VEHICLE RUNNING ON EXIT. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD AND COULD CAUSE DEATH IF PARKED IN YOUR HOME GARAGE. have been experiencing extreme shaking and vibration so called “death wobble.” In 2023 I took it to the dealership to look into the issue to which they changed the steering stabilizer. Even though that helped for a few years however it did not resolve the problem. It was still occurring just not to the same degree. Currently I have tried to reach out to the dealership to look into the problem and the dealership refuses as the car or the part is not covered under warranty. However not enough time or mileage has passed for the car to not be under warranty. The dealership and the FCA refuse to help. This issue is very serious! It common with these models of Jeep wranglers and are life threatening.

Driving on interstate 35 south in fifth gear. There was a loud BANG! and then we lost power. Barely made it off a tight overpass and we saw the smoke. The car was quickly on fires we got out as it started to engulf the jeep with flames. It was a total and complete loss - and very dangerous.

We started experiencing a problem with our clutch on our manual transmission 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport in December 2022. It felt like it would slip out of gear on its own, sounded like when someone first learns how to drive a manual and grinds the clutch. The dealer couldn't figure it out. Kept getting worse. Multiple trips back to the dealer. Mind you at the time this car was 3 1/2 years old and only had about 40,000 miles. Finally we found out there was a recall in February 2023, and the dealer told us there were no parts or no solution yet. This car is my wife's daily driver. I called the dealer back a couple months later, no update yet, Jeep "was working on it", hoped remedy would be available by end of June. Kept calling back every month or two, same story. I drove the car for the first time in a while in July and realized it was not safe to drive. Constantly slipping out of gear, couldn't get it going fast enough. Decided to read the recall again and realized it said it was a fire hazard. My dealer called and was told still no remedy, now they tell him hopefully end of Q3, so I asked the service manager to please get me into a loaner on Jeep. They did this. This is almost 2 months later, still no remedy. It's fantastic how Jeep can spend millions on fancy advertisements with Derek Jeter, yet because the people who own clutch vehicles are such a small percentage it seems our safety is not a priority. I can't believe a major car manufacturer has taken over 7 months knowing there is a safety issue and still no remedy.

I got letter from MOPAR back in February 2023 stating there could be a problem with my Jeep. At the time there was not problem. A week and a half ago around Aug. 23, 2023 my jeep started smelling hot while driving and there is a rattle between 3rd and 4th gear. My jeep is a manual transmission. I took it to LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Clinton, 1111 W Michigan Ave, Clinton, MI 49236; [XXX] . They told me it would be $1100 to just look at my Jeep and diagnose it, after confirming it was the clutch that is the problem. They proceeded to tell me it would be $3600 to repair the clutch. They never told me there was an open recall on my Jeep. I remembered getting the letter in the mail from Mopar so I found it. The recall was indeed for the clutch. The dealership never even mentioned the recall. They just wanted me to pay for the clutch. I called them back and asked them why they didn't tell me about the recall. They told me that it wasn't a "real" recall yet. I told them I looked it up on their website and it said it was. He told me since there is no remedy I just have to pay to have it fixed. He offered no other alternative so I am without a vehicle. I called Mopar to try to complain but they said they have nothing to do with dealerships but gave me a case number # [XXX] and said they had no idea when the remedy would be available and that there was nothing they could do. I told them I was without a vehicle and they told me to take my Jeep to another dealership. I asked them if that would change the outcome and they said no but maybe they would say it wasn't the clutch. I am already out $300 from having this dealership. Please help me. New recall has come out for the Jeep 2019 Manual Transmission. This is the third recall and there is still no fix. Recently my clutch blew on the highway, first it started to smoke and then the clutch exploded. Going speed of approx 70mph with a child in the car. This is well know issue without a fix and i do not want to drive this vehicle any longer. Jeep will not fix the clutch, i have to pay $3600 for it and "if" or "when" the fix happens, then i can get reimbursed. the clutch could go again at any time not safe. and jeep does not care.

I am reporting the Jeep "death wobble". I have made an appointment to have the dealer look at the issue but experienced the death wobble on the interstate two different times traveling at 72 and 73 MPH. After going over a relatively small bump at 73 MPH going east on I-94 at right around mile marker 260 in Wisconsin, my Jeep shook uncontrollably until I reduced speed to under 40 MPH. Again, on my way home on I-94, my daughter hit a bump right around mile marker 246 heading west. The Jeep violently shook and she had to pull over and come to a stop. While we did not get into an accident, the need for rapid deceleration on the interstate absolutely could cause an accident. I am so disappointed in Jeep!

This jeep has an awful steering issue. Keeping it in the lane im driving in is extremely hard.This vehicle has been looked at for this issue several times and jeep says do this or this and the jeep dealer still hasn't fixed the issue it has been a nightmare to drive i feel like im putting myself and others in danger because the steering issue on this 2019 jeep is extremely loose causing this vehicle to move all over the road.This vehicle is definitely dangerous to drive. If I break suddenly it's pulls majorly to the left and does a dip down if that makes any sense.im super careful not to break fast but in some instances its unavoidable.

STEERING WHEEL SHAKES VIOLENTLY AFTER GOING OVER A MINOR BUMP OR ROAD ROUGHNESS WHILE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEEDS (55+) ON THE HIGHWAY. IT WILL SOMETIMES CORRECT ITSELF AND HAS NOT BEEN TOO BAD OF A SHAKE BUT OVER THE WEEKEND, I HAD TO SLOW DOWN FROM 70MPH TO 45MPH IN THE MIDDLE OF I95 B/C THE STEERING WHEEL SHOOK SO BAD AND WOULD NOT STOP SHAKING UNTIL I SLOWED MY SPEED DOWN. THIS WAS AS A RESULT OF GOING OVER A MINOR BUMP IN THE ROAD. ONE TIME IT HAPPENED WHILE GOING AROUND A CURVE IN THE HIGHWAY AND THE "RUMBLE STRIPS" TRIGGERED IT. The instrument cluster has stop functioning and you can't see milage, gas or any of the warning lights within the cluster panel. I was not in an accident but wanted to report the problem of the cluster since my jeep was not included in the recall. I have an estimate of 1,600. for a repair from jeep mechanic.I feel that it should have been included in the recall.

I was driving my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to work and my Jeep started throwing all the things on the dash, Start/Stop lost communication, ABS System lost communication, plus several other issues and I went into limp mode. I had it towed to the dealership to find out what was wrong and they told me it was the ABS Module. That was on Wednesday June 11th, 2025. It was 3 weeks before they got the part. When they went to program the ABS Module, it froze up and they had to order another one that took a week to get in. They replaced it again and told me, it was fixed. I picked it up on Wednesday, July 8th, around 5:00 pm and on that Friday, July 11th, at noon my check engine light came on again. I’m taking it in tomorrow to see what it is this time. So far it’s just the check engine light and I’m praying it don’t quit on me getting it there. There should definately be a recall on the ABS Module. I’ll be writing another update after I see what’s going on tomorrow.

EVERY TIME I PLUG MY IPHONE INTO THE LIGHTING CABLE THAT IS PLUGGED INTO THE USB TYPE C INPUT THE UCONNECT SYSTEM WILL POWER OFF AND RESET ITSELF. THIS WILL CONTINUOUSLY HAPPEN EVERY 5 MINUTES 3-4 TIMES BEFORE IT STOPS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN THE ENGINE IS ON AND OCCURS WHETHER THE CAR IS MOVING OR NOT.

When it is raining, and vehicle is moving the water comes out of the mirror area and prevent a clear visibility in the traffic. UNKNOWN IF THEY LOOSENED WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, WHICH HAS APPROXIMATELY 20,000 MILES CURRENTLY, OR WHETHER THEY WERE LOOSE FROM THE FACTORY.

So driving about 50-55mph, the dash lights lite up like a christmas tree. Everything from ABS, shifter lock, sway bar, airbags, traction control, aux battery and some other things that i can't remember. Engine lost power, power steering and unable to shift out of park. I took to my local dealer, I didn't buy it from them, and they diagnsoed the issue of a faulty ABS module. This module has been in the stage of "engineering" for over a year. I spent $900 on one ABS module that was available out of 5 in the US from another dealer and to get 20 minutes down the road only to have it happen again. The vehicle was at the dealer for 5 weeks. The new part was to become available on May20th. Two days ago the service manager called to tell me that they pushed the date to Aug 20th. This will be almost 2 years in this process with this part. The manager then proceeded to tell me it will probably be longer as Jeep went to a new vendor and it is redoing the part. I know of hundreds of other owners in the same boat. Jeep star techs say they can't diagnose past this part so I am paying on a big paper weight since November 23. I have started a case with Jeep customer care only for them to say they can't do anything financially or anything other than help expedite the issue. This is a lost cause as it is still being developed 2 years later. My GM of the dealership said he has 4-5 others at his lot in the same boat and a number of other owners with vehicles like myself at the house. I feel the need for someone to put pressure on the vendor to help with getting a recall on this situation.

It has happened several times since we got the vehicle. There are times we are on the freeway and we press the gas but the car slows down and makes a horrible sound then after a little while we wiggle the shift handle and move it around to make it go. It has been very scary. Also the car has turned off when stopped at red light. We called the dealership and they just turned off the auto start. They told us we do not have extended warranty and that was it. Also the steering wheel gets locked up. We just pray that nothing happens to us. Could you advice please.

The dash glitches and lights up all of the warning lights, speed and fuel goes up and down then the engine idles high despite not shifting/touching anything. Then it it completely locked up and cannot shift out of park. If it sits for a while occasionally it will start and only have check engine light on and allow you to shift to drive however while driving I have had the entire dash light up and speedometer/rpms going up and down causing it to run higher. It has been back to the dealer twice now for same issue that was supposedly fixed. It says service shifter, my abs are not working and electronic stability control needs service amongst other things. It is very scary when this has happened while driving on the highway with my children in the car and the fact I never know if I will be able to make it to or from work/picking up kids or if I will be stuck in drive/have engine shut off while driving. This has happened more than once in my 3 weeks of purchasing this vehicle and I am scared for our safety. I have had the codes read prior to going to the dealership and it says multiple things are malfuntioning

The contact stated that only one air bag was deployed and the seat belt released her during the collision. The contact's daughter sustained face, arms, side, back side, and leg injuries. The seatbelt retractor did NOT work on my driver seatbelt. I almost got into an accident and the seatbelt never tightened across my chest. I hurt my wrist in the process by being pushed into my steering wheel. There is already a recall on this exact part for SOME Jeep Wranglers manufactured in 2019, but mine did not fall into the active recall. Clearly it should be.

I lease my 2019 Jeep, and in November 2021, my then 8 year old son was trapped in the driver's side back passenger seat, where it would not retract and would only get tighter. The screws would not budge to remove the seatbelt, I had 3 people I had to ask for help as the seatbelt was getting tighter and tighter and cutting off circulation to my son. We finally had to cut him out. I reported this right away to the dealer. My service advisor kept putting me off stating the seatbelt was backordered. We made due with the remaining seatbelts. 7 months later the middle seatbelt quit retracting. I was left with just one working seatbelt in the back seat, with 2 young boys, now 10 and 12, and I cannot drive anyone else in my car as I do not have working seatbelts. I have gone into my dealer, sent several emails to my Jeep dealer and spoke in person and in email to the manager and have been ignored. I sent in my issue to Jeep corporation/Mopar, and they keep giving me the run around and told me i have to go through the dealer. I have pictures and emails of this all and have been ignored. My lease is up next month, and I have not been able to enjoy my jeep with others for safety reasons. I don't understand. Why i have been ignored and Jeep does not care. There is an issue with the seatbelts in this car.

DRIVING HIGH WAY SPEEDS HIT A GROVE IN THE ROAD ON THE HIGHWAY AND THE WHOLE FRONT END TURNS TO JELLO. THE STEERING FEEL VIOLENTLY SHAKES TO THE POINT WHERE YOU LOSE STEERING. Service Antilock Brake System. Service Shifter. Service 4WD. Loss communication with MPH. ABS light. Traction Control. Power Steering Failing. BRAKE. Doors Lock/Unlock. Vehicle shut down while I was driving and locked me out completely. Replaced Part No. 68321746AA-001 Vehicle was taken to four auto shops. None were able to diagnosed the issue. Mopar shop wanted to charge over $1,600 to replace ABS sensors and other items. I referred them to look at the part and was told it was not going to fix the issue. It did fix the issue. I have spent the last 2 months trying to figure out what was wrong with my vehicle and several funds later.

I WAS DRIVING ON RTE. 287 SOUTH DOING 70 MPH I MUST HAVE HIT A BUMP OR IMPERFECTION IN THE ROAD, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE WHOLE CAR STARTED TO VIOLENTLY VIBRATE AND SHAKE, I HAD TO GO FROM THE LEFT LANE OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER WHILE SLOWING DOWN TO ABOUT 30 UNTIL THE SHAKING STOPPED AND ALSO WAS ABLE TO EXIT TO A LOCAL ROAD. I'VE DRIVEN THIS HIGHWAY SEVERAL HUNDRED TIMES AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM, THANKFULLY THE ROADS ARE NOT AS CROWDED AS THEY USUALLY WOULD HAVE BEEN AND AN ACCIDENT WAS AVOIDED. My 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with 2.0 liter turbo engine has had two failed “Rear Axle Assemblies or differentials” within 3 years of each other. The first time was in July 2022, and my service repair order says rear Diff replacement. Now this time, my dealer is saying we need the whole rear axle assembly which is on national back order. No current ETA for delivery, with no additional info other than none are even in production at this time. Since my vehicle is under warranty for another 4,000 miles or so, I would like to use Stellantis warranty for my repair. However, They are no help and are saying we cannot order a different OE part, or a used part. The vehicle is unsafe to drive as I can feel my loss of control especially on wet roads in Florida. After searching the internet I have found this is a common problem with the sport, and Sahara versions from 2018-2025. Now that we can’t even get replacement parts, it creates a whole other set of problems. I would like to mention everything is factory on my Jeep and I have never been off roading. Not even once. So 2 failed rear axles is just unacceptable.

It started about 4 months ago and continues to get worse and more frequent but it starts shaking and wobbling violently at high speeds especially if you hit a bump it’s almost impossible to keep it in the road. It’s very scary and dangerous. After googling I heard about the death wobble which Chrysler has recalled some of the same models as mine. Any information or help you could give us would be appreciated. It also just started overheating when sitting idle probably not related but don’t understand why mine is having so many problems it’s not old enough

We were exploring some remote mountain roads on Saturday 11/23/2024. The Jeep was running fine and nothing abnormal was observed. We stopped for lunch at an area with a nice view. We made sandwiches and took our time eating. After packing up, we jumped back into the Jeep to continue our journey. I started the Jeep and we immediately smelled fuel. I turned the Jeep off to investigate and found a large amount of fuel on the ground under the rear area of the engine. I had my wife start the Jeep again briefly to see where the gas was coming from. As soon as she started it, an ALARMING volume of fuel began to spray all over the exhaust and turbo. The high pressure fuel line from the gas tank to the high pressure fuel pump on the rear of the motor had ruptured and was dangerously spraying an enormous amount of fuel all over the rear driver side area of the engine bay. We were lucky in that we had stopped for lunch and the exhaust had cooled down and did not ignite the gas. We were unlucky because we were stranded in the backcountry with a vehicle that was inoperable. Fortunately, we were able to get the Jeep off of the mountain and back onto the trailer 5 hours after the incident and before dark. Had the timing of the failed fuel line been different, I could have been driving down the road or highway with a hot exhaust and the Jeep would have ignited and caught fire very quickly. What is even scarier to me is that I take my two toddlers to day care every day in this Jeep. Had a vehicle fire ignited with the amount of fuel that was spraying (and would have continued to spray if the Jeep was left on) would have engulfed the Jeep very quickly. Who knows if I would have been able to get both kids out of their car seats in time to save them. This is very dangerous! I know there have been many Jeep JLs that have caught fire. While accelerating, vehicle refused to shift into second gear and losing power while attempting to accelerate onto the interstate. With the pedal all the way down, the vehicle was going 5mph. No warning lights, sounds or messages were provided. This could have been fatal as it occurred at a merge point on a 70mph interstate. Upon dealership review, the high pressure fuel pump has malfunctioned requiring replacement under 50,000 miles.

The passenger side Sun visor has broken off up inside the ceiling where it’s hinged so now it just drops down. It’s the same issue all the Jeep visors have. Jeep isn’t correcting the defect. They just keep putting the same problem out for the consumer to deal with over & over again & they’re being allowed to do that!!!

My Jeep Wrangler's instrument cluster randomly shut down while driving. This means I couldn't see the electronic speedometer, odometer, or any other information on the dashboard. There weren't any warning lights before it failed. I had the dealer fix it, but Jeep wouldn't cover the entire cost of the repair, even though the dealer confirmed there was no water damage or external cause. It seems like the instrument cluster just malfunctioned and fried. This appears to be a recurring issue with Jeep Wranglers, and it's concerning that Jeep isn't taking responsibility for a problem that could be a safety hazard, especially when using features like adaptive cruise control that relies on the digital screen. Attached is the repair order and invoice detailing the problem. I also have a video of it mid-failure if you need it. This shouldn't happen with a vehicle at 46K miles, major safety concern.

I had trouble with the cluster display periodically going out. It would come back on after restarting the car. This happened 2 or 3 times. Then, it went out and never came on. This started with 40,000 miles on it. When it to the dealer they tried an “ipc” reset on it with no change. They tried a “hard” reset with no luck. They disconnected and reconnected both batteries, again with no luck. They told me my only recourse is to buy a new display (p/n 68377781-4F) for $1,169.71. I didn’t think that made sense for a 3.5 year old Jeep. I started looking on the internet and found this is a very common issue. Some report it periodically fails while many report the same as me, hard failure. This screen is an integral part of the vehicle info and safety. I cannot tell you how much fuel I have. I cannot easily glance down and quickly see my speed. I still have a speedo on my model, but it isn’t as easy to read as the large digital display. I have to really divert my gaze to obtain the speed. I recently ran out of gas on the highway with no fuel gauge. Why would a screen wear out? Why should a digital screen wearing out be acceptable? This is not right. This generation of Jeeps has been plagued with issues. From the death wobble, steering dampeners, poor frame welds to the digital display. Any help to force dealers to address this issue is appreciated.

While driving all dash lights come on and steering locks up. Been in shop for weeks and they cannot find out the reason. There are several videos on YouTube of same issues. This is very dangerous, especially if driving at highway speeds. How do i file to get this on recall list? My wife was driving at low speed when it happened and was able to get to side of road.

Every warning light, check engine, brake, traction control, service shifter, service electronic throttle system, etc. would come on all at once. While driving the power steering stopped working when all these warnings appeared yet the vehicle was still under power.

While driving my vehicle on a major highway several lights came on and I was notified that the antilock break system had been disengaged while driving. I was terrified driving this vehicle down a major highway but manage to make it home after pulling over several times when the vehicle seamed loose control. Once the vehicle was started the next day the following malfunction were emailed to me. The vehicle would not turn off for several hours, windshield wipers were running while in the off position, and the screen indicated that the vehicle was a rubicon, despite it being a Sahara. It was incredibly alarming not being able to turn this vehicle off after several attempts. ANOTHER ISSUE WOULD BE THE PASSENGER VISOR IT BROKE WHEN MY VEHICLE ONLY HAD 36,600K MILES. I HARDLY USE THE VISOR ONE DAY MY PASSENGER OUT THE VISOR DOWN TO COVER THE SUN FROM FACE AND IT JUST FELL FROM THE CORNER.

THE STEERING IS SLOPPY WITH 2-4 INCHES OF "PLAY" IN THE STEERING WHEEL WHEN DRIVING. I HAVE HAD THE RECALL DONE FOR DAMPENER REPLACEMENT, BUT IT STILL TRIES TO "WALK" THE ROAD SIDE TO SIDE DUE TO THE SLACK IN THE STEERING. I AM TOLD THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH THE ELECTRICAL ASSIST, BUT IT NEEDS ADDRESSED. I DRIVE FOR HOURS AND HAVING TO FIGHT THIS BACK AND FORTH THE ENTIRE TIME IS UNSAFE. ALSO, THE WINDSHIELDS ARE NOT SLOPED ENOUGH FOR AREAS WHERE THERE ARE MANY BUGS. THE WINDSHIELD BECOMES SO CONGESTED WITH SPLATTERED BUGS IT'S HARD TO SEE. THE WASHERS AND WIPERS CANNOT SCRAPE AWAY THE DEBRIS EITHER BECAUSE THE IMPACT IS SO HARD IS PLASTERS THEM TO THE GLASS, AND TAKES HIGH PRESSURE WATER OR VIGOROUS SCRUBBING TO REMOVE. THIS IS A POOR WINDSHIELD DESIGN FLAW THAT MOST EVERY OTHER AUTOMOBILE DOES NOT HAVE AN ISSUE WITH.

I WAS GOING AROUND 65 MPH ON THE FREEWAY AND I HIT A POTHOLE, MY JEEP STARTED TO "DEATH WOBBLE". IT STATED TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE AND VIBRATE ALMOST PULLING THE STEERING WHEEL OUT OF MY HAND. MY POWER STEERING HAS COMPLETELY LOCKED UP MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAYS, HIGHWAYS, AND RESIDENTIAL STREETS. WHEN THE POWER STEERING LOCKS UP THE VEHICLE THROWS AROUND 50 CODES, WHICH THE DEALERSHIP HAS RESET MORE THAN ONCE. EACH TIME THE STEERING LOCKS UP I HAVE TO SLAM ON MY BREAKS AND TURN MY CAR ON AND OFF MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL THE STEERING STARTS WORKING AGAIN. I HAVE TAKEN MY JEEP TO THE DEALERSHIP TWICE - ON 11/30/2019 AND TODAY (12/29/2019) - AND HAVE CALLED MANY, MANY TIMES TRYING TO GET THIS ISSUE RESOLVED. JEEP ACCELERATION FROM A STOP IS INCONSISTENT. THIS CONCERN IS WORSE WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A SLOW SPEED. UPON INITIALLY APPLYING LIGHT PRESSURE TO THE GAS PEDAL, THERE IS NO RESPONSE, BUT THEN THE VEHICLE LURCHES AHEAD AGGRESSIVELY AND IN AN UNEXPECTED MANNER. THIS IS COUNTER-INTUITIVE AS THE VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH ETORQUE, WHICH IS ELECTRONICALLY APPLIED TORQUE TO ASSIST ACCELERATION. THIS SYSTEM IS TO INSTANTLY APPLY TORQUE TO THE DRIVETRAIN VIA SECONDARY BATTERY POWER - BUT IF THAT WAS WORKING AS EXPECTED, ONE WOULD SEEMINGLY NOT EXPERIENCE THE INITIAL DELAY PRIOR TO THE SUDDEN ACCELERATION. THE DELAYED AND THEN LURCHING ACCELERATION HAS RESULTED IN NEAR ACCIDENTS - IF DRIVING IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, THE LURCHING RESULTS IN MY RAPID ACCELERATION WHILE DRIVERS AHEAD OF ME MAY BE STOPPING. ALSO, WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MERGE INTO TRAFFIC FROM A STOP OR SLOW ROLL, THE PAUSE RESULTS IN NEEDING TO SLOW OR STOP TO WAIT FOR A BETTER ENTRY OPPORTUNITY, BUT AT THAT SAME MOMENT, THE ACCELERATION KICKS IN. THIS IS NOT PERFORMANCE THAT ONE WOULD EXPECT AND IS A LESS THAN OPTIMAL SAFETY EXPERIENCE. I TOOK THE JEEP TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS 'THE TECH SAID HE DROVE A 2 DOOR 2.0 LITER OVER THE WEEKEND AND IT 'DID THE SAME THING', SO IT MUST BE NORMAL'. I STRESSED THAT NOT BEING AN ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE TO MY REQUEST FOR ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR. IN RESPONSE THEY 'FLASHED' THE SOFTWARE, BUT THAT DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUES TO DEMONSTRATE THE SAME ISSUE.

NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER HUFFINES CHRYSLER/JEEP (1024 S STEMMONS FWY, LEWISVILLE, TX 75067) THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 800.

The instrument panel cluster that shows the speed, odometer, and fuel levels has been sporadically 'going out' while driving. On Friday 7/18, it went out completely and did not come back on. This affects safety of driving in that I have no idea how fast I'm driving or fuel levels. I have to rely on iphone capabilities for speed, which is not as accurate. The problem has been inspected by a mechanic and he indicated that the Instrument Panel Cluster would need to be replaced at a cost of close to $2,000. He indicated that there was a recall on 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler models involving a safety issue with the IPC and that it may experience a short circuit and fail, potentially causing the display to go blank and hindering the driver's ability to see critical information like speed and warning lights. Recall# 24V652000 indicated this failure could increase the risk of a crash. Per the mechanic recall info was sent October 2024 yet I did not receive anything. Per the site my VIN# is not included in this recall. I believe this is the EXACT issue that other vehicles were called and this particular vehicle should be included in this IPC recall.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the water temperature gauge rose and failed to return to a normal engine temperature. The contact pulled over to the side of the road and became aware that the third reservoir tank was empty. The contact waited until the engine had cooled down, added coolant, and then continued driving the vehicle. The contact became aware of coolant leaking around the water pump. The dealer was informed of the failure however, the contact had not heard from the dealer. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

Approximately 4to6 months after I bought my jeep following issues: electric bolt comes on. At a red light engine shuts off. Have to stop in middle of traffic to restart and pra it restarts. Sometimes this takes 3 or 4 tries. Sometimes many times when I try to start my car will not start. Many times I am unable to shift the jeep and takes 40 min to get the throttle into gear. Wheel locks. Windshield wipers come on at random times. This is a severe safety hazard. I did buy an extended warranty and they tell me it is not covered. I’ve followed up for any recalls and they tell me no recalls. I had some minor recall done a few months ago and now my jeep is worse than before. The stress of this is immense. Vehicle is inoperable. Dealer says it is a bad ABS module. 80+ codes were thrown, dashboard lights flickering on and off. Right brakes locked up on mechanic test drive. All ABS functionality failed. The part is not being manufactured at this time. I have been told that there is no date when to expect the part's availability. This seems to be a common issue that should be recalled.

Body: Paint around door hinges is bubbling. Vehicle was purchased new in 2019, vehicle is not near salt water or driven in, harsh offroad conditions. Vehicle has been garaged daily since purchase and has 44,000 miles on it. Electrical: Instrument cluster reboots and blanks out and speedometer stops working while driving. This vehicle was not included in previous recall #FCA 30B, but the symptoms are identical to that recall. Vehicle has been taken to the dealer who has offered no insight as to what the problem may be. Dealer was shown a video of the problem happening while driving. The attached photo is taken from a video of the cluster while driving. Both the main battery and the Auxiliary battery were replaced to see if that was an issue, it was not.

The car is having electrical issues that the dealer service is unable to diagnose. They have since ordered a part but they are not certain that this will fix the problem. The car has been in service 3 times. Twice for an uncontrollable shaking that comes from no where, this has fixed the problem temporarily, however it continues. If I hit highway speeds the car shakes making it difficult to drive. The electrical issue for lack of a better word causes the car to stop as there is no acceleration at this point, making it difficult and extremely dangerous to drive. I drive an hour and half to work with fear. I don't want to cause an accident nor do I want anyone else getting hurt. The car has had issues since we first bought it. But thought ok, they are trying to fix the issues so have said nothing until now. Now the electrical system fails causing the care to be undrivable. We had to already have it towed to the dealer. Paid for the diagnostic issue which resulted in nothing and paid for a rental car.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler equipped with Bridgestone Tires, Tire Line: Dueler H/T 685, Tire Size: 245/75/R17, DOT Number: 9BM1DHV0322. The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, the front passenger’s side tire experienced a blowout. The contact pulled off to the shoulder of the highway and replaced the tire with the spare tire. The tire was taken to an independent mechanic where upon inspection, the mechanic discovered an abnormal tear in the tire along the sidewall. The mechanic stated that the tire was a defective tire. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire was not replaced. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 44,200. The tire failure mileage was approximately 4,200.

The dash instrument cluster failed and went dark leaving no information for the driver. Speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer and all warning lights are out. The vehicle went to Walnut Creek Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram on 6/15/23. They confirmed that the cluster was out. They also mentioned that this is a common problem and would take 2 weeks. The vehicle could not be used, because of the fear of no speedometer and fuel gauge. If it ran out of fuel, there would be next to no steering or brakes. There was no warning prior to the failure on 6/13/23. It has now been at the dealer for 7 weeks with no ETA for the part. We've been told by the dealer that the part fits 2018 through current models and there's a large backlog because of a rash of failures. We have reached out to Chrysler customer service on several occasions and have got no help or guidance whatsoever.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH uphill, the vehicle failed to respond upon depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle lost power steering functionality. Additionally, the stereo and the windshield wipers engaged independently. A message indicating a shifter column failure was displayed, and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact was able to exit the highway and pulled into a driveway, where she parked the vehicle. The contact stated that the engine continued running after pressing the Start/Stop button several times to turn off the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the engine revved up significantly while the accelerator pedal was not depressed. The contact pressed the Start/Stop button again, and the vehicle turned off. The contact then restarted the vehicle, and the vehicle responded as needed; however, the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that upon using an OBD reader, codes indicating lost communication with ABS control module, torque request signal from PCM denied, CAN communication messages missing, invalid data from ECM/PCM, Lost communication with SCM/CANC and implausible missing transmission message, were read. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

Driving my vehicle and around 20,000 miles had all lights come on. Lost power steering wind shield wipers randomly going off and then it goes away once powering off. I took it to my dealer and they worked on it and said nothing was wrong. A week later it happened again. This time the vehicle wouldnt turn back on for about 30 minutes. Going threw a round a bout I will randomly lose all control and almost crash. I have had at least 4 or 5 close calls do to no power steering and lose of traction control. No dealer or mechanic can figure it out. It is throwing 37 codes. HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE ON THESE JEEP FORUMS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE FOR THE SAME YEAR. NO ONE CAN FIGURE IT OUT. SEVERAL HAVE CRASHED. MY WIFE HAS ALMOST DIED WHEN SHE LOST TRACTION CONTROL IN A BLIZZARD. It has been months and now my vehicle is up to 42000 miles and its sitting there because now I'm to scared to drive it. It gets stuck in park and randomly powers down. This is a serious safety hazard and someone is going to get killed from a crash if this isn't addressed. All codes are related to ABS and CAN BUS but it has only fixed about 5% of the vehicles when they replace those parts. COME INSPECT IT YOURSELF I AM AVAILABLE ANY TIME!!!

Back in July 2022, I went to turn on my Wrangler and the light show began. Took it to the dealership where they identified over 50 error codes. Some of the main ones I was able to see in the instrument cluster were "Service Shifter", "Service Antilock Break System", "Service 4WD", "Traction control Failure" and "Emergency Break" light on when E-Break was not engaged. Four (4) Months later and over 10 back and forth visits to the dealership, the problem still persists after being told "we test drove it 50+ miles and we see no problem". They have since replaced three (3) Body Control Modules. Why am I writing this report? Because in the situation when those warning lamps turn on and I am actively driving the vehicle, I've experienced the following concerns: 1.) Stopped at a stop light and the engine shut off. Then it takes a few frantic tries to turn the vehicle back on - this happened twice. 2.) Drove on the highway when the gears stopped shifting causing the engine to rev incredibly fast - this happened once. 3.) Increased resistance from steering wheel while steering while on highway speeds. 4.) Gear shifter locks - happens often, but typically only when I initially turn on the vehicle; Doesn't allow to move the shifter out of Park. As you'll see by my answers on the form, my vehicle has low miles and is kept in prestine condition.

Over the last 7+ months, my vehicle will not go into gear. When I push the starter, the vehilce flashes a number of warning lights and codes then the service shifter warning comes on and stays on. The vehicle will then not go into gear. The dealership has now looked at it 3 times and can not find the issue. They can see the code, have replaced the auxillary battery and traced the wiring. This happens approximately 3 times a week. It leaves me stranded where ever I am because it will not go into gear and has to be towed. A few hours later, it will start as normal. On other occassions, it does the same thing to me while I am driving! All of the warning indicators will flash and I will lose power steering. If I pull the car over and turn it off and on again, I gain power steering back. This has happened to me while driving on the highway. The first time I was on a 4 lane highway with no power steering. Airbag delay in deployment and seatbelt failure to lock. Almost direct head on collision. After contact with the other vehicle (full size truck), my body went forward and hit over the visor in the middle. On the return to my original position I watched the airbag deploy. The seatbelt never locked. I also do not recall the airbag fully deploying. Vehicle is available to check computer. No one has inspected the vehicle and I had no vehicle maintenance issues prior.

Service Axle Locker System light appears on dashboard. If the axle locker engages accidentally in the wrong conditions, it could cause a crash. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer three times. This is the 3rd visit to the dealer. The first time they said they would change the axle, but then it was on backorder so they flushed the differential and cleaned some metal parts they said was fouling the sensor. I drove it away and they same problem occurred. The second visit they changed a sensor. Now the problem is back and I'm waiting to hear their "solution".

STEERING WOBBLES AND DRIFTS VIOLENTLY AT SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. THERE HAS ALSO BEEN A WATER LEAK UNDER THE DRIVERS SIDE STEERING COLUMN THAT TWICE NOW THE DEALER HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX, ALL WIRING UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL IS WET AFTER A RAIN AS WELL AS PUDDLES OF WATER ON FLOOR MAT.THIS CAR IS A LEMON

STEERING ISSUES CAUSED BY WEAK STEERING COMPONENTS AND POOR SUSPENSION GEOMETRY. DEATH WOBBLE AND JUMPY, LOOSE, WANDERING STEERING FROM FACTORY. BROUGHT INTO DEALER MAY FOR UPDATED OEM TRACKBAR WITH STIFFER BUSHING UPDATE AND UPDATED STEERING STABILIZER. THIS HAS TIGHTENED STEERING SOMEWHAT AND REDUCED THE AMPLITUDE OF DEATH WOBBLE BUT HAS NOT ELIMINATED IT. JEEP STILL WANDERS AND JUMPS ONTO ADJACENT LANES WHEN HITTING EXPANSION JOINT ON FREEWAY. DEALER SERVICE MANAGER REFUSES TO CONSIDER ALTERNATIVE FIXES THAT HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO HAVE POSITIVE RESULTS FOR OTHERS. WIND NOISE FROM A PILLAR AND FREEDOM TOP. DEALER NOTED BUT FAILED TO FIX INADEQUATE DEFROSTER CHANNELING RESULTS IN THE DEFROSTER ONLY CLEARING THE CENTER OF WINDSHIELD. DRIVER CANNOT SEE OUT OF WI SHIELD. DESIGN FLAW SINCE THIS IS ON ALL 2018 AND 2019 JL. DEALER REFUSES TO FIX FRAGILE WINDSHIELD GLASS. SERVICE MANAGER AGER REFUSES TO CONSIDER THIS AN ISSUE EVE. THOUGH 1000S HAVE LOST THEIR WINDSHIELD AND HAVE BROKEN NUMEROUS ONES IN SHORT ABOUT TS OF TIME TOO SHORT LOWER CONTROL ARMCOUNTRY OL ARMS IN NOT ENOUGH CASTER AND LACK OF A CASTER ADJUSTMENT RESULTS IN POOR STEERING. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DEFROSTER WAS INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO HUNTINGTON DODGE (5080 JERICHO TURNPIKE, COMMACK, NY 11725, (631) 993-3300) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENTIRE REAR WINDOW NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND THE PARTS WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL APRIL 22, 2019. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 9,000.
