The contact owns a 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL450. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal shaking coming from the engine while attempting to steer the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the power steering reservoir and the power steering lines were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 196,000.

SINCE DEC 2017 THE CAR PRESENTED STEERING PROBLEMS AT SLOW SPEEDS, LOSS OF POWER AND HARD TO TURN. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT INFORMED ME THAT THERE WERE NO ISSUES. I DID FIND IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT A RECEIPT FROM A PREVIOUS OWNER IN WHICH THEY REPLACED THE POWER STEERING COMPONENTS IN LATE 2016. IT SEEMS THAT THIS IS A RECURRING ISSUE WITH THE CAR BASED ON THE MANY REPORTED INSTANCES ON THIS WEBSITE.

AIRMATIC SUSPENSION COMPONENTS CONTINUE TO FAIL ON THIS VEHICLE. AIRMATIC AIR PUMP WAS FIRST REPLACED DEC 2013 AT 71,000MI. FRONT SUSPENSION AIR SPRINGS FAILED AND SUSPENSION STRUTS HAVE BOTH BEEN REPLACED, OCT 2014 AT 85,000 MI. REAR SUSPENSION AIR SPRINGS FAILED AND HAVE WERE REPLACED, JULY 2015 AT 101,600MI. AIRMATIC AIR PUMP WAS REPLACED AGAIN ALONG WITH THE SUSPENSION VALVE BLOCK WAS REPLACED , NOV 2015 AT 107,300MI. AFTER DISCUSSION WITH DEALERSHIP THEY ONLY WARRANT REPAIR FOR 12 MOS AND INFORMED US THAT MERCEDES DOES NOT HAVE RECALL OR PROVIDE CUSTOMER SUPPORT TO REPLACE THESE ITEMS UNLESS PAID FOR BY CUSTOMERS. FRONT AIR SPRINGS DEFLATED DURING TRIP DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED , SUSPENSION DROPPED DOWN AND HAD TO PULL OVER. HAD TO DRIVE VEHICLE TO DEALERSHIP WITH SUSPENSION DROPPED DOWN ON FRAME STOPS. GL550 SUSPENSION DROPS - MALFUNCTIONS EVERY YEAR (SUMMER TIME IN TEXAS) MY GL550-2008 WAS ABOUT 1 YEAR OLD IN AUGUST 2008) WITH 21K MILES. I WAS PARKED IN THE LOCAL LOWE'S PARKING LOT. WHEN I CAME BACK FROM THE STORE, THE CAR BODY WAS SITTING DIRECTLY ON THE TIRES. IN ORDER TO GET HOME, I USED THE FLOOD LIFT. THE CAR REMAINED LIFTED AFTER USING THE FLOOD LIFT FOR ABOUT A MONTH. A MONTH LATER WE WERE ON A ROAD TRIP AND WE PULLED OVER TO GET GAS AND IT DROPPED AGAIN. AGAIN WE USED THE FLOOD LIFT UNTIL WE COULD GET HOME. WHEN WE GOT BACK WE SCHEDULED A REPAIR APPOINTMENT. IT WAS DIAGNOSED BY THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPLACED THE AIR SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR. LESS THAN A YEAR LATER (MAY 2009) AT 33K MILES IT HAPPENED AGAIN. AGAIN I HAD TO USE THE FLOOD LIFT TO RAISE THE CAR BACK UP. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP BUT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE IT. AGAIN IT HAPPENED IN APRIL 2010 AT 49K MILES. THE DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSED AND REPLACED THE ENTIRE STRUT ASSEMBLY-LEFT FRONT AIR SUSPENSION. IN OCTOBER 2010, 54K MILES THE RIGHT FRONT DROPPED. I USED THE FLOOD LIFT TO RAISE THE CAR. I WAS IN THE GARAGE. THE GARAGE DOOR WAS CLOSED. WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE CAR I COULD HEAR HISSING FROM THE RIGHT FRONT SUSPENSION THAT SOUNDED LIKE A LEAK. WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, AGAIN THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE IT AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. ONE WEEK LATER IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN REPLACED SUSPENSION. THIS ISSUE SEEMS TO HAPPEN EVERY YEAR IN THE SUMMER. I BELIEVE THE HYDRAULIC SEALS USED IN MERCEDES BENZ AIRMATIC SYSTEMS MELT OR SOFTEN IN THE TEXAS HEAT CAUSING THE PARTS TO FAIL/LEAK. IT IS UNSAFE AS IT LEFT US STRANDED WITH CHILDREN MANY TIMES.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A FAULTY PART. I HAD 31,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE WHEN THE FRONT AIRMATIC WENT OUT. NOW THE BACK IS GOING OUT AT 50,000 MILES. THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT IN THEY SAID IT'S NOT IF IT WILL GO OUT IT'S WHEN. SO I BELIEVE MERCEDES BENZ KNOWS THEY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THIS AND WE ARE PAYING FOR BAD PARTS. I BELIEVE THIS PART SHOULD BE RECALLED BECAUSE THEY KNOW THEIR IS A PROBLEM.

I CAME OUT OF THE SHOPPING MAUL INTO THE PARKING LOT, ENTERED INTO THE CAR AND PUT IT IN REVERSE. THEN L PRESSED THE BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND GO FORWARD, BUT THE BRAKES WOULD NOT STOP THE CAR. THE CAR KEPT GOING BACKWARDS AND L KEPT PRESSING THE BRAKES WITHOUT ANY RESULT. THE CAR SMASHED INTO 4 PARKED VEHICLES AND STILL DID NOT STOP. I ATTEMPTED TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL TO STOP IT OR SLOW IT DOWN, BUT FINALLY THE CAR STARTED GOING FORWARD AND L PRESSED THE BRAKES MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THE CAR STILL DID NOT RESPOND AND KEPT GOING FORWARD AND SKIDDING AND EVENTUALLY SMASHED INTO A TREE AND STOPPED. L HAVE CONTACTED MERCEDES, BUT THEY ARE YET ACT. THE CAR POWER STEERING WENT OUT 3 DAYS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT AND WAS JUST REPLACED THE DAY BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. The contact owns a 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL450. The contact stated while driving approximately 10 MPH and approaching a stop light, an unknown "malfunction" warning light illuminated. The contact attempted to veer to the side of the road but noticed that the steering wheel had lost power steering functionality. The contact then forcefully steered the steering wheel and veered into the right turn lane. The contact turned off the vehicle and turned on her hazard lights. Upon restarting the vehicle, the contact noticed that the power steering functionality had not returned. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 08V682000 (Steering). The vehicle was not repaired. THE CAR BROKE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 45 MPH ROAD IN A VERY DANGEROUS INTERSECTION. TOWED THE CAR TO DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THE ENGINE IS COMPLETELY DAMAGED AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. THEY TOLD ME THE TIMING CHAIN GOT LOOSE AND WILL COST ~$15K TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED ENGINE.

I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER WHERE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A SHORT IN THE WIRING IN THE FRONT SEAT THAT TRIGGERED THE MALFUNCTION. THE SEAT HAS TO BE REMOVED AND THE HEAD REST HAS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $1980. THE SEAT IS A 10 WAY POWER SEAT BUT IT SHOULD BE DESIGNED TO MOVE WITHOUT SHORTING THE ELECTRONICS. A flash from the right headlight had occured. I thought it was the bulb, but turns out the ballist was shorted out. I removed the assembly from the vehicle to change the ballist and because I want to also change the lens on the assembly. When I got the old lens off, I found most of the wiring has heat distress, causing the casings to flake off. I have photos of this issue. The headlights are a high energy assembly and this unsafe condition can lead to a vehicle fire if not taken care of immediately.

I INFORM THE TECHNICIAN RIGHT AWAY AND TOOK IT FOR TEST DRIVE AND HE SAID EVERYTHING IS FINE. I TOOK IT HOME, BUT I COULDN'T SLEEP WITH OUT FINDING WHAT THAT NOISE IS? I TOOK IT BACK TO BE CHECKED AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG INFLATED INSIDE NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. THE SAFETY ISSUE IS HERE IF I DIDN'T TAKE IT BACK THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW THE AIRBAG IS NOT FUNCTIONING OR BLOWUP INSIDE UNTIL ACCIDENT HAPPENS. THEREFORE, IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE. TODAY I WAS SHOPPING IN A STORE WHILE MY TEENAGE SON WAITED IN THE CAR FOR ME. HE CAME RUNNING IN THE STORE ACCOMPANIED BY A WITNESS THAT WAS IN THE PARKING LOT TO TELL ME THAT SOMETHING ON MY CAR EXPLODED OUTSIDE. THE ADULT WITNESS EXPLAINED THAT THE NOISE WAS SO LOUD AND SO ABRASIVE THAT THEY THOUGHT A BOMB WENT OFF. IT SHOOK THE ENTIRE CAR. LUCKILY NOBODY WAS HURT. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THIS INCIDENT TOOK PLACE WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE CAR? IT HAS TO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE AIR SUSPENSION. I'M HAVING IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC TOMORROW. Last Wednesday Morning June 06, 2023 I started vehicle up to move it closer to my apartment. Once I shifted into "Drive", immediately the engine revved up and vehicle accelerated in high rate of speed across the parking lot, I was applying the brakes, but they were not stopping the vehicle, it then slammed into wooded area and crashed head first into creek beyond the wooded area. I was dazed and bleeding from cut beneath my nose, I climbed out of vehicle and back up the incline the vehicle crashed downward into. Baltimore County Police responded and I explained to Officer what had happened. He advised me to contact my Insurance Carrier and wrote the Incident Report #. During the time while awaiting my vehicle's retrieval from the wooded area, I then photographed and video recorded the damages once retrieved. The air bags did not deploy when the vehicle crashed yet the complete front grill and hood of the vehicle was smashed in, front tire blown.

VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE IN MY GARAGE. VEHICLE WAS RUNNING FINE 2 HRS PRIOR. MY HUSBAND ENTERED THE VEHICLE TO RUN AN ERRAND AND THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START. TONS OF LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH, INCLUDING THE AIRBAG HAD DEPLOYED, THOUGH THE AIRBAG HAD NOT DEPLOYED. VEHICLE WAS OFF BUT STILL SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS RUNNING. WINDOWS OR NOTHING WOULD WORK. WE RAISED THE HOOD AND WAS NOT ABLE TO DISCOVER THE ISSUE. WE COULD SMELL SOMETHING, BUT WAS NOT SURE WHAT IT WAS. WE PROCEEDED TO GO INSIDE OUR HOME, BUT LEFT THE GARAGE AND HOOD OPEN SO THE SMELL FROM THE VEHICLE WOULD LEAVE THE GARAGE. COUPLE HOURS LATER WE HEARD A HISSING SOUND IN THE GARAGE. IN LOOKING AT THE HISTORY (I'M THE 3RD OWNER), THE WORK PERFORMED FOR THE DEFECTIVE CAMSHAFT WAS COMPLETED 2 YEARS AFTER THE 2009 MERCEDES BULLETIN AND ANOTHER REPLACEMENT TO THE BALANCE SHAFT AND CAMSHAFT WAS PERFORMED 1 YEAR AFTER THE 2012 BULLETIN. IN ITS REPORT, MERCEDES ISSUED A CAUTION AND STATED, "NEW TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER MUST BE INSTALLED AND ONLY AFTER THE ENGINE HEAD COVERS (VALVE COVERS) ARE INSTALLED/BOTTLED ON. FAILURE TO OBSERVE THAT WILL RESULT IN THE OVER TIGHTENING THE TIMING CHAIN WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY LEAD TO ENGINE HEAD DAMAGE." IN THE CAR FAX REPORT, I SEE AFTER EACH REPAIR, THE OWNER SOLD THE VEHICLE. I NOTICED A STRONG GAS SMELL AFTER A FULL TANK OF GAS WITH MY MERCEDES BENZ GL450 AFTER I RECEIVED IT BACK FROM THE MERCEDES BENZ DEALER TO REPLACE THE DRIVER SIDE FUEL SENDING UNIT TO FIX THE BROKEN FUEL GAUGE. THE STRONG GAS ODOR WAS NON-EXISTENT BEFORE THE REPAIR. INITIALLY, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A RESIDUAL SMELL DUE TO THE REPAIR BUT AFTER A WEEK WHEN I FILLED AGAIN, THE GAS SMELL WAS STILL THERE. THE SMELL IS SO BAD ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING WHEN I GET INSIDE THE GARAGE. THE SMELL IS EVIDENT ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE CLOSE TO THE GAS TANK. ON JANUARY 11, 2016, I BROUGHT BACK THE VEHICLE TO THE SAME MERCEDES BENZ DEALER WITH A QUARTER OF A TANK TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM. AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS, THE SERVICE ADVISOR TOLD ME THAT THE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC DID THE INSPECTION AND DIAGNOSIS BUT DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I WAS ASKED IF I OVERFILL WHEN I PUT GAS AND I SAID NO. IF MERCEDES BENZ COULD NOT FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG TO AN OBVIOUS PROBLEM, I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH THE VEHICLE. AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, THIS PROBLEM WAS NON-EXISTENT BEFORE THEY DROPPED THE TANK TO FIX THE FUEL SENDING UNIT. WE HAVE TAKEN THIS VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SERVICE NUMEROUS TIME COMPLAINING SOME WEIRD NOISE COMING FROM THE LEFT FRONT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE AND A BUMPY RIDE. LEFT VEHICLE WITH DEALER SERVICE AT LEAST 8 TIMES FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BUT NEVER FIXED. RIGHT BEFORE MY WARRANTY EXPIRED IN DECEMBER 2012; I TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND ASKED THEM TO COMPLETELY INSPECT THE VEHICLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS NEEDING REPAIR BEFORE THE WARRANTY EXPIRES. THE DEALER SERVICE FOUND NO ISSUES AND WERE NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE OF BUMPY RIDE; ASKED US TO REPLACE TIRES (WE WERE TOLD THE SAME 3 TIMES PREVIOUSLY AND WE REPLACED TIRES EACH TIME BUT NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM) AND WE REPLACE ALL FOUR TIRES THE FOURTH TIME IN 4 YEARS. PICKED UP THE CAR AND NOTICED NO OF THE ISSUES WERE RESOLVED; AND THE WARRANTY EVENTUALLY EXPIRED. TOOK IT BACK TO THE DEALER FOR MAINTENANCE AND THEY GAVE MEAN AN ESTIMATE OF AROUND $1800 FOR BAD LEFT-FRONT STRUT. THEY ADVISED ME THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. THIS VEHICLE, AND ALL OTHERS MERCEDES-BENZ MANUFACTURES WITH AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT SELECTOR OF THIS TYPE NEED AN ADDED SAFETY FEATURE TO DISALLOW A SHIFT FROM THE NEUTRAL POSITION TO REVERSE OR DRIVE UNLESS THE BRAKE PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. AFTER REACHING OVER FROM THE EXTERIOR OF THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW TO TURN THE IGNITION TO THE ON POSITION TO SEE WHICH HEADLIGHT WAS NOT FUNCTIONING (AS THE DISPLAY MESSAGE STATED), A SLIGHT APPARENT TOUCH UPWARD AGAINST THE SHIFT SELECTOR (LOCATED ABOVE THE KEY AND BEHIND THE STEERING WHEEL) ENGAGED THE VEHICLE IN THE REVERSE POSITION CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO REVERSE AT APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH FOR 15 FEET AND COME TO A CRASHING STOP AGAINST AN ANCHORED METAL POST AND FORTUNATELY NOT INTO ANY OTHER VEHICLES, ONCOMING TRAFFIC, STRUCTURES, AND/OR ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL. I SUSTAINED A MINOR INJURY TO MY LEFT FOREARM AS I UNSUCCESSFULLY ATTEMPTED TO REACH BACK OVER WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE REVERSE MOTION TO TURN THE VEHICLE TO THE OFF POSITION. *TR

CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO A DEFECTIVE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED THE PART IN QUESTION IS FOR THE 4-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES MADE IN THE U.S. ACCORDING TO THE DEALER, THE PART HAS BEEN REVISED SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY HAVE ISSUES WITH THE UNIT FAILING. EVEN THOUGH THE PART IS FAULTY NEW, IT IS BEING REPLACED OFTEN. MERCEDES HAS GIVEN THE CONSUMER DIFFERENT STORIES ABOUT THE PART AND DENIED THE PART NUMBER HAS ONE OF THE DIGITS CODES SHOWING THE NUMBER OF CHANGES. *JB

CAR C 300. DID NOT SEE THAT OPTION. ALSO TIRES ORIGINAL MICHELIN UNKNOWN INFO. MULTIPLE INTERIOR TRIM AND SEAT REPAIRS. PROBLEM WITH POWER FOLDING MIRRORS GETTING STUCK OR CREAKING. MULTIPLE VISITS FOR REPAIR OF TIRE LIGHT ISSUES. WAS ORIGINALLY TOLD IT WOULD COME ON DURING HOT/COLD DAYS. UPON REVIEW AFTER MULTIPLE ISSUES, TIRES X 2 REPLACED BEFORE 15K MILES. CONTINUES PROBLEMS. COUNTLESS REVIEW BY 3 DEALERSHIPS. WAS TOLD DUE TO COSMETIC ISSUES ON RIMS. B3 MAINTENANCE DONE @ $500. TOLD AGAIN TO CK TIRES DUE TO LIGHT. HAD ANOTHER SET OF TIRES PLACED AROUND 40K IN. MAY 2010. FOR B3 TOLD LT BACK TIRE NEEDED REPLACING. WENT BACK TO TIRE SHOP WHO SAID BOTH NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, AND RIMS. WAS TOLD BY MERCEDES RIMS NOT NECESSARY. AFTER A FEW WEEKS TIRE LIGHT BACK ON AND LEFT BACK LOSING AIR RAPIDLY. MERCEDES ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE CALLED. FOUND LG CRACK BACK L WHEEL. SPARE PLACED. ANOTHER INDEPENDENT CAR CARE REVIEWED ALL WHEELS. FOUND ANOTHER CRACKED WHEEL BACK RIGHT AND TWO LOW SPOTS FRONT. TOOK BACK TO MERCEDES ALEX RODRIGUEZ, WHO STATED FRONT WERE FINE BY VISUAL ONLY, AND BACK RIGHT NEEDED COSMETIC OUTER WHICH THEY COVERED. GAVE CAR BACK AFTER HAVING 8 DAYS FOR COSMETIC WORK. UNABLE TO TELL ME IF DIAGNOSTICS WERE PERFORMED. NOTHING IN PAPERWORK. WOULD NOT LET ME WAIT UNTIL INFORMATION WAS VERIFIED. DROVE APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES ON HWY AND CAR BEGAN TO RATTLE. HAD BOYFRIEND LOOK @ CAR. FOUND WHEEL COVER WASN'T THERE; ALSO TWO AIR COVERS MISSING AND TWO LOOSELY FASTENED. CALLED DEALER TO COME PICK UP VEHICLE FOR ANOTHER REVIEW. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 MERCEDES-BENZ GL550. THE CONTACT STATED THE ENGINE WAS TURNED ON WITH THE GEAR SELECTOR PLACED IN THE "PARK" POSITION WHEN AN UNEXPECTED ACCELERATION OCCURRED WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO JUMP OVER TWO CURBS AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE AND THEN CRASHED INTO TWO UNOCCUPIED VEHICLES. THERE WAS NO PERSONAL INJURY. ON APRIL 30TH 2009 WHILE DRIVING CAR SLIPPED INTO LOW GEAR ON ITS OWN. ON MAY 1ST WHILE PULLING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY AND GOING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ON A MAJOR ROAD THE CAR AGAIN SLIPPED INTO LOW GEAR. TEN MINUTES LATER WHILE EASING INTO A SHOPPING CENTER PARKING SPOT THE CAR SHOT FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE PILLAR. I WAS DRIVING THE CAR AND INJURED MY WRIST AND MY MOTHER WHO WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT INJURED HER ANKLE. THE AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY. CAR WAS SENT TO AUTHORIZED MERCEDES AUTO BODY SHOP REPAIRED THEN SENT TO MERCEDES DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY CHECKED THE CAR AND SAID NO PROBLEMS WERE FOUND WITH THE CAR. ON JULY 7TH WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AT RAILROAD TRACKS THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN I STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR AND THE CAR DIDN'T MOVE I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS THE MATTER AND WHEN I LOOKED AT THE GEAR INDICATOR THE CAR WAS IN LOW GEAR WHICH HAPPENED AGAIN ON ITS OWN. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 MERCEDES BENZ GL450. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN STALLING EVER SINCE IT WAS PURCHASED. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO REMEDY FOR THE FAILURE. WHEN THE STALLING OCCURS, THERE IS NO POWER THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE, BUT IT WILL RESTART SECONDS LATER. IN ADDITION TO THIS FAILURE, THE SIDEVIEW MIRROR IS MOLDED, THE TIRE LUG NUTS ARE RUSTED, THE POWER SEAT AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM ARE MALFUNCTIONING, THE ENGINE VALVE COVER IS CRACKED, AND THE COMPRESSORS FOR THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM HAS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE CONTACT WAS PROMISED THAT IT WOULD BE REPAIRED BY THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AS PROMISED; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT RETRIEVED THE VEHICLE FROM THE DEALER. OTHER RECALLS WERE ALSO FOUND FOR THIS VEHICLE. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN.
