My 2010 glk 350 4matic first while taking my daughter to school one day my dashboard lights up and start making a alert sound ,my dashboards reads steering wheel malfunction/abs/ebs brake inoperative. Had it diagnosed and service tech couldn't find the problem related to this . He try to get me to fix my sterring wheel pump and coolant fan!! Idk I didn't let the device tech do any work . I saw on you tube how to do a left right sterring wheel and the service code disappeared it been two weeks and it hasn't came on all.now I got another service code srs airbag 2 malfunction/inoperative!! .when car is on it shows that air bag 2 isn't on !! This has to be a manufacturer error since not even the service tech knew what exactly trigger this to show on my dashboard.

Extremely Urgent Safety Warning! Similar to the the passenger fuel filter extended warranty on the passenger side, the driver's side plastic fuel filter pump is obviously visably defective and forming a large crack, thereby leaking a significant amount gasoline into the back seat, with much also draining out the bottom of the vehicle. Additionally, the metal studs securing the filter are painted, making removal of the filter difficult without breaking the studs. No warning lamps or messages.

Due to the same defect Mercedes issued a recall for on the 2011 GLK, the fuel and sender pumps cracked due to a product defect causing gasoline to leak out of the vehicle as well as into the vehicle. The leak is near the exhaust causing a high degree of risk for car fire. Online research reveals numerous 2010 GLK owners with the same issue at various points in the life of the vehicle.

When my child was riding in the same car with me, my car suddenly died due to all fuel leaked out. Our car ran out of gas because all fuel were leaked. We can smell gas inside the cabin. Initially I thought car died because we ran out of the gas. After receiving 2 gallon gasoline from the tow truck, we saw dripping gasoline from the bottom of the car when the car engine is on. I am glad it did not happen to me on the highway or there was no fire sparkles near by. My car is only 110K miles with no accident record. I do not expect a car has a defective hazard like this. People could be killed. We took the car to the dealership. Fuel Pump Assembly 221-470-17-90-28 and Fuel Filter Unit221-470-17-90-28 will be replaced. Benz has recalled 2011 model. I have news below, " The specific models are the 2011-2012 C300, GLK350, E350, S400 Hybrid, S550, S63 AMG, CL550 and CL63 AMG, but only those built from April 18, 2011, through July 12, 2011. Mercedes says there are some 5,800 vehicles affected by the latest recall in the U.S. the unit may crack when operated in high temperatures. This may cause fuel to leak, which could then cause a fire." My question is, why my 2010 model was not recalled? They were using same parts. If my car's parts has the defect, which caused "fuel to leak, which could then cause a fi re." for just under 110K miles, why nhtsa does not do anything to prevent this happen? If you search "Fuel leaking benz" , you will see tons of consumer complains. I could have ended up die if I was not lucky. Fuel pump is a critical part, it should not drip gasoline. Can you force Benz to take action before people died?

Two fuel tank leaks that are a fire hazard. First one was around fuel pump, cracks in plastic flange. Had repaired with a sealant. Recently another leak around the filler tube. Leak around passenger side rear wheel when filling tank. Strong smell of gasoline if not completely filled to cause leak. I would think a dangerous fire hazard. I see recalls for other year models, but not 2010, even though basically identical.

I just had my vehicle in the shop for starting problem and oil leak. The former mercedes mechanic told me about my subframe having holes in it and the rear wheel moving forward and back during braking. I'm taking it to the dealership for replacement, but I'm upset knowing that I just took a 1400 mile trip with this problem on my vehicle with family in the vehicle and it could have been catastrophic for us all. I've received no notice of the 20 year extended warranty on this vehicle, but a notice of the Takata airbag issue was received recently by me. Not notifying me is irresponsible. I hope everyone gets this repaired before a life is lost.

I am the owner of a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 with 102,531 miles. The problem I have is the rear subframe rusted with a crack on the rear subframe making it very dangerous if the rear subframe fails while driving. This issue has become very popular with the c class Mercedes Benz.

The cross beam-in the rear are completely rusted out as are the brake lines. I had this vehicle from brand new and there isn’t any rust except for there.This problem has happened in Canada and other countries. Mercedes’ Benz has recalled it there and not in the United States. I stope to a representative at Mercedes Benz and she said they were aware of the problem and said it would be the next recall. I’m afraid to drive this vehicle it’s unsafe

Premature rear subframe corrosion due to design of component, vehicle is available for inspection upon request. If control arm detaches geometry of suspension will change and divert into another lane and cause a crash, the issue was confirmed by an independent service center. The vehicle is due to be inspected by the manufacturer 12-30. No warning of issue as the majority is covered by body panel.

The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to continue driving slowly to a nearby repair shop. The mechanic informed the contact that the rear subframe was corroded and had detached from the vehicle. The contact was able to drive to her residence. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the rear subframe to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 149,000.

On September 20, 2021, my steering wheel locked will driving into shopping center in Stockton, CA., I called AAA towing service to tow my car to Mercedes-Benz of Stockton for repairs. I'm glad to say no one was behind me while driving. It locked without any notice, near by customers to the center pushed my car to safety. Thank you.

THE VEHICLE IS A MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIP IN RALEIGH, NC ON CAPITAL BLVD BECAUSE IT WILL NOT START. THERE'S A STEERING LOCK PROBLEM AND I WAS TOLD THAT ONLY CERTAIN VIN NUMBERS IS COVERED FOR THIS YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL. MY VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY 80,000 MILES. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS VEHICLE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE SAME RECALL (STARTED JAN 25, 2019) BEING IT'S HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AT THE SAME TIME AS THE OTHER VEHICLES. THE VEHICLE WAS AT CAPITAL CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD IT TOWED TO MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIP AND I WAS TOLD IT WOULDN'T START. CAPITAL CHEVROLET SAID THAT THE MERCEDES DEALERSHIP SAID IT COULD HAPPEN AT ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE. I WAS TOLD THE COST IS ON ME. AFTER SOME RESEARCH I FOUND OUT THERES A RECALL ON MY YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL BUT NOT MY VEHICLE WHICH IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I WAS DRIVING MY GLK 350 ON A ROAD AT 35 MPH AND SUDDENLY MY STEERING WHEEL GOT STUCK AND IT WASN'T MOVING I HIT THE BRAKES IN THE MIDDLE OF ROAD. I COULDN'T MOVE MY STEERING WHEEL AND I TURNED OFF MY CAR AND TRIED TO RESTART IT AND IT DIDN'T STARTED. I CHECKED MY BATTERY IT WAS GOOD. I LOOKED ONLINE WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH THEIR GLK 350 AND ONLY MERCEDES CAN FIX IT SO I HAVE TO TOE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND IT COSTED ME $1850 IT'S JUST A WAY FOR THEM TO MAKE MONEY BUT IT COULD HAVE GOT ME INTO A SERIOUS ACCIDENT THAT DAY

I WAS SLOWLY COASTING INTO A HANDICAPPED PARKING SPACE AT A HARDWARE STORE WHEN THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. THE BRAKES WOULD NOT STOP THE CAR. CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING UP TO AN ACCIDENT ON MY MERCEDES BENZ E350 2010 WHICH STARTED ROLLING ON A HILL WHILE THE CAR WAS IN PARK. ON MONDAY AUGUST 30, 2010 I DROVE MY VEHICLE TO THE INTERSECTION OF DELAVALL AND TILLOTSON AVE. IN THE BRONX. I PARKED MY CARE ON DELAVALL AVE. AND PUT THE CAR IN PARK WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING. MY SALESMAN REMAINED IN THE CARE TO MAKE TELEPHONE CALLS IN THE COMFORT OF THE CARS AIR-CONDITIONING. I CHECKED TWICE TO MAKE SURE THE CAR WAS IN PARK AND THEN I LEFT MY SALESMAN IN THE CAR. I WENT INTO MY CUSTOMERS BUILDING AND WAS IN THERE FOR MORE THAN FIFTEEN MINUTES WHEN I CAME BACK TO THE CAR AND ASKED MY SALESMAN TO ACCOMPANY ME BACK INTO THE BUILDING. I INSTRUCTED MY SALESMAN TO TURN OFF THE CAR. WHEN HE WHO IS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT REACHED OVER TO REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE IGNITION THE CAR STARTED TO ROLL. I SCREAMED FOR HIM TO STOP THE CAR BUT HE COULD NOT CLIMB OVER THE CONSOLE AND APPLY THE BRAKE NEITHER COULD HE MOVE THE SHIFT SELECTOR. THE CAR ROLLED DOWNHILL FOR SOME 30 FT. AND CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF A PARKED VEHICLE. FORTUNATELY MY SALESMAN WAS NOT INJURED AND THE CAR THAT WAS HIT WAS AN ABANDONED VEHICLE WITH NO PLATES. THE DAMAGE TO MY VEHICLE WAS TO MY PASSENGER SIDE FRONT BUMPER. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR ALMOST 60 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS WITH ANY PREVIOUS VEHICLES. ONCE AGAIN THE CAR WAS PARKED ON A SLIGHT GRADE IN PARK FOR MORE THAN 15 MINUTES WHEN THE KEY WAS REMOVED THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ROLL DOWN THE STREET. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I RECENTLY TOOK MY 2010 MERCEDES GLK TO MY LONGTIME MECHANIC, KEVIN BRADY OF BRADY'S AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR IN LAGUNA NIGUEL FOR SERVICE AND A SMELL OF GAS VAPOR IN THE PASSENGER CABIN. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION HE FOUND A FRACTURED PLASTIC COVER PLATE AS PART OF THE FUEL FILTER SYSTEM UNDER THE REAR PASSENGER SEAT. I HAVE INCLUDED A PICTURE WHERE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE FUEL HAVING SOAKED THE EXTERIOR OF THE COVER PLATE. KEVIN REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE PART WITH WITH OEM PARTS AT A COST OF $282.60. UPON FURTHER REVIEW I FOUND A SIMILAR COMPONENT FOR WHICH THE COVER PLATE BELONGS TO AS SUBJECT TO RECALL 12V557000. THE RECALL IS FOR THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL OF VEHICLE WITH THE SAME PART RECALL CALLED FOR CAUSING THE SAME ISSUE AS THE 2011 MODEL RECALL . MY MODEL IS JUST ONE YEAR PRIOR TO THE REFERENCED RECALL. IT APPEARS MERCEDES'S DEFECTIVE PART IS A BIGGER ISSUE THAN THE PREVIOUS RECALL LET ON. FUEL AND VAPOR SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE PASSENGER CABIN. I RETAINED THE DEFECTIVE PART FOR FURTHER EXAMINATION. I CONTACTED MERCEDES BENZ ABOUT THE ISSUE. I OFFERED TO ALLOW THEM TO EXAMINE THE PART AND ASKED FOR A REIMBURSEMENT OF MY $282.60 (I DID NOT CONDITION THE EXAMINATION ON THE REIMBURSEMENT). THEY REFUSED AND GAVE ME A CORPORATE LEGALESE RESPONSE. SO I TURN TO YOU FOR HELP. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

THE PROBLEM IS A FAULTY BALL BEARING IN THE GEAR BOX BEHIND THE TRANSMISSION, AND I WAS QUOTED A PRICE OF 6,000.00. I FEEL AS IF THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM WITH THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE, AND NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BEHELD FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR THE COST OF FIXING OR HAVING THE PROBLEM RESOLVED.

2010 MERCEDES BENKGLK 350. ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16, I WAS ATTEMPTING TO REVERSE OUT A PARKING SPACE IN THE WESTFIELD SHOPPING CENTER, WHEATON, MD. I PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE AND REVERSED SLOWLY. I THEN PUT THE CAR IN DRIVE AND MOVED FORWARD TO DO A 3 POINT TURN.. PLACED THE CAR IN REVERSE AND IT STALLED FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN LURCHED BACKWARD, HITTING ANOTHER CAR. The tires were purchased from NTB in August 2022. I noticed a bubble on the side of the tire 3 April. We contact NTB in Columbia,MD because we purchased them from the location and they were also put on at the location. They stated, we can purchase a new tire but there was nothing they could do. We purchased the tire from Walmart.com and took it into the Walmart Tire and Lube. The technician Kevin replaced the olde tire with the new and asked why didn’t we get a free replacement tire from wherever it was purchased from since it was a new tire and defective. We asked him to show us a defect and he showed a small slit inside the tire which caused the tire bubble. He then brought it back to us and placed it in our trunk to give back to NTB. NTB declined to replace the tire stating it was a Pirelli issue and we needed to contact them.

Subframe is completely rotted. Taken to several mechanics who were unable to diagnose handling problems and severe tire wear. After research this is a common problem, we were never notified this could be an extremely dangerous and hidden issue. Car is unsafe to operate without expensive repairs. Unacceptable.

The rear sub frame corrosion which caused the back tire of the driver side to fail off and lose control of the vehicle, which put myself and other drivers in harm because of lost of vehicle. The rear sub frame has corroded sooner than it's lifecycle. The dealership has confirmed the issue, inspected the part and has replaced. There were no warning lights that have gone off on the vehicle to notify of the issues. Driver hit a pot hole and the frame cracked due to premature corrosion.

After breaking hard the vehicle started to pull left and the rear felt like it had locked up. I took it immediately to my local mechanic who diagnosed a prematurely rotted out subframe. I am in the process of having MB review and quote for the repair.

On 10/5/22, my wife was driving her 2010 GLK 350 to work, suddenly she felt the break pedal was going deep inside easily and noticed break fluid light warning sign in dashboard. She was scared to drive and slowly drove car to Mercedes authorized technician. After diagnosis, MB technician said the issue in not just on break fluid leaks but the entire breaking system is failing due to rear subframe rust which holds the entire suspension and body. He said car is not safe to drive will cost $4K to $10k to repair. Called another dealer near by said the same as this is common issue with Mercedes due to snow the subframe rust during winter. It is ironic that even with frequent servicing with dealer they never found these rust issue early because rusting process started early on any metals. Went online to dig deeper on this issue and surprised this issue is widespread check https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/805501-rotted-rear-subframe-2.html#post8650716 Apparently Mercedes recalled all C class cars to replace subframe as they realized it is their design issue in Europe, UK and Canada. Here in USA dealers give excuses saying it due to winter snow it rust even though they did not catch such dangerous safety issue in the car. Imagine if how severe this break safety issue. Please take action on Mercedes Benz to address this safety issue US, specially it has been addressed in UK, EU, and Canada.

My Mercedes GLK350 2010 (90K miles) has the same issue as mentioned in https://media.mbusa.com/releases/mercedes-benz-usa-announces-voluntary-stop-drive-recall-campaign-for-certain-model-year-2006-2012-ml-gl-and-r-class-vehicles but not included in the list of vehicles being recalled. This vehicle was taken to 'Ray Catena of Freehold, NJ' for checking and they identified the same issue - brake lines are corroded and leaking and brake pedal goes to floor and not effective at stopping (soft brake pedal). So I have exactly the same symptoms as mentioned in the recall notice for ML-, GL- and R-Class vehicles produced for the 2006-2012 model but my 2010 GLK is not included - hence requesting that GLK 350 to be included in the recall and this brake issue fixed by Mercedes Benz.

THE MESSAGE LIGHT COMPLETELY LIT UP SEVERAL TIMES AND WARNED THAT THE SRS CONTROL WAS MALFUNCTIONING AND SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE IT COULD CAUSE GREAT HARM IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT OR SUDDEN STOP. On [XXX], my mother was driving our 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 to work around 6:30 AM when the vehicle suddenly caught on fire without warning. The car was completely destroyed in the fire. Thankfully, she was able to exit safely. After doing research online, we found many reports of 2010 GLK 350 models catching fire due to fuel system issues and leaks, which appear to be common with this year and model. We were surprised to learn that our VIN currently shows no active recalls, even though the issue seems widespread. We can provide photos of the car before and after the fire, towing documentation, and the police/fire report. The cleanup and towing bills have been expensive, and we are filing this report so NHTSA can investigate whether this is a safety defect that should result in an official recall. Subframe of the car rusted and rotted from inside out. to the point of rear suspension completely detached from subframe. it caused my car to fish tail and lose control under even slow breaking conditions. once we discovered the problem we were told the car was a death trap and was absolutely unsafe to operate. we found out this is a common problem for this MB model type. the problem was already under recall in Europe. there are thousands of existing owner complains about the exact same issue. MB USA initially refused to acknowledge the problem, but on 2/14/2023 they sent a memo to all US dealers to repair rotted subframe for free under "extended warrantee". however, they refused to pay for the full repair even after dealership specifically informed them that it was not possible to complete the repair without replacing thrust arm and rod, which were damaged due to the Subframe failure. this incident endangered me and my family, cost $2000+ out of pocket for repairs in addition to the loss of access to my vehicle for at least 3 weeks.

I had my 2010 Mercedes GLK in for B service today (Jan. 3, 2023), and the repair team inspected the vehicle and informed me that I have a RUST HOLE approximately 1" x 2" in size located adjacent to an attachment point for the wheels in the REAR SUBFRAME. If it breaks, it could cause the vehicle to become difficult to control. Additionally, they informed me that the BRAKE LINES are also RUSTING/WEAKENING. If the brakes fail while driving it could cause loss of control of the vehicle. Since these are hidden parts that I typically can't see, I had no warning that there was anything wrong until I had it in for routine maintenance. I have the invoice for the oil change, with a notation from the repair team regarding these parts. The vehicle is available for inspection should it be necessary.

I took my MB in for service to have alternator replaced. After it was finished service did a multipoint inspection on vehicle and keep in mind I have had my car in for service before and if there had been a multi inspection wouldn't this have been seen before now? This report includes Rear sub Frame rusted & broke, rear brake lines rusted, fault code for intake manifold flap malfuntion, actuator arms broke, engine misfire on cylinders 3-5. Recommended Services is to replace transmission mounts, left engine mount, right engine mount, rear sub frame, rear brake llines, intake manifold. diagnose misfires. All of this and I was never notified of any issues before now and its only been a year since my car was in before. I was also told I didn't need an oil change and my brakes were only making noise because of wear!? And due to the issue I was also told to be very careful when I do drive! Total cost for this is $11,996.85 So I feel that MB is liable for this as there has not been any recommendation s before now. I had $2,081. worth of work done February 5th 2019 and the underbody of vehicle was inspected so why was this not caught then?

EITHER WAY, THE IMPACT SHOULD NOT CAUSE A MERCEDES TO CATCH ON FIRE. I WAS ON A CITY STREET STOPPED AT A STOPLIGHT.

ADDITIONALLY CAR FAILS TO START ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. HAS BEEN IN SHOP 3 DAYS. NOT SURE IF IT IS WIRING HARNESS FAULTY, CIRCUIT BOARD, PERHAPS HARNESS OR SOCKETS BURNT, MELTED. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM IS RAMPANT IN ONLINE REPORTING. MERCEDES REPORTS NO RECALLS.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 MERCEDES BENZ GLK. THE CONTACT STATED, WHILE IN REVERSE WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED, THE BRAKE SYSTEM FAILED TO ENGAGE, WHICH LED TO A THREE-CAR ACCIDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO REPORT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED, WHO ADVISED THAT THE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000. WE HAVE HAD CONTINUING PROBLEMS WITH THE CONTROL BUTTONS ON THE WINDOWS,TEMP CONTROLS, LIGHTS, ETC. LOSING THEIR PAINTED COVERING/DELAMINATING. MERCEDES HAS SAID THAT THIS IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM DUE TO HAND LOTION AND/OR AIR FRESHENERS AND NOT A DEFECT. WE'VE HAVE MANY CARS OVER MANY YEARS AND WE'VE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM OCCUR BEFORE. APPARENTLY MERCEDES HAS RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM AND SENT A SERVICE ADVISORY TO THEIR REPAIR ENTITIES BUT THEY ARE REFUSING TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AS A DEFECT. THIS IS A SAFETY PROBLEM AS THE LETTERS AND WORDS ON THE BUTTONS BECOME ILLEGIBLE FORCING THE DRIVER TO TAKE THEIR ATTENTION FROM ROAD TO TRY AND OBTAIN THE REQUIRED ACTION. *TR CONSUMER STATED THAT TRANSMISSION FAILED AT 85,847 MILES. CONSUMER HEARD A FAN-LIKE NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION. THERE WAS METAL IN THE TRANSFER CASE. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AND THE COOLER AND TORQUE CONVERTER WERE FLUSHED. THAT SATURDAY I HAD MY 30,000 MILE SERVICE AT ESTATE MOTORS IN GOLDENS BRIDGE, NY. THE DEALER ALSO DID AN "OPEN RECALL". THEY DEDUCTED $20 FROM MY BILL TO GET A CAR WASH. I DROVE DIRECTLY TO A CAR WASH ON ROUTE 202 IN NEW MILFORD, CT. ABOUT 3:00 PM, I WAS THIRD IN LINE AND AS THE TWO CARS AHEAD EDGED FORWARD, TURNING LEFT TO GO IN, I NUDGED MY GAS PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE TOOK OFF LIKE A ROCKET, GLANCED OFF THE CAR BUMPER AHEAD, RAN OVER ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT AND A 3 FOOT TALL TREE, WENT HALFWAY OVER A 3 FOOT HIGH WALL AND WAS STOPPED BY SMASHING INTO A TREE. NOBODY WAS HURT. I HAD KEPT MY SEAT BELT ON AND WAS ONLY SLIGHTLY BRUISED. AT FIRST I THOUGHT I MUST HAVE DONE SOMETHING WRONG, AS I TOLD THE POLICE, BUT REALIZED LATER THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. I AM A GOOD AND CAREFUL DRIVER AS ALL RECORDS WILL ATTEST. I COULD NOT HAVE JAMMED MY FOOT DOWN ON THE GAS PEDAL. I LATER FOUND THAT THE "OPEN RECALL" HAD TO DO WITH A CAM SOLENOID, WHICH IS INVOLVED WITH THE FLOW OF GASOLINE INTO THE MOTOR. I ALSO FOUND ON GOOGLE THREE ALMOST IDENTICAL INCIDENTS REPORTED ON THIS PARTICULAR MODEL AND YEAR. TAKE A LOOK. I FIND IT VERY HARD TO BELIEVE THIS IS JUST A COINCIDENCE. S MERCEDES BENZ HAS BEEN UNCOOPERATIVE AND STATES THEIR INSPECTION SHOWED NOTHING WRONG WITH THE RELEVANT PARTS OF MY SUV. AFTER THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE AND REPAIR, I THINK ONE CAN BE SKEPTICAL ABOUT THEIR OPINION. HOW COULD THEY KNOW WHAT THE CAR WAS LIKE BEFORE THIS? MERCEDES DENIES ANY RESPONSIBILITY. AS I AM DEEPLY UPSET BY THE COST TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOR SOMETHING I DO NOT BELIEVE IS MY FAULT, THE FUTURE INCREASES IN INSURANCE RATES THAT WILL FOLLOW, THE $560 LOST IN THE 30,000 MILE CHECK-UP AND MY $1000 DEDUCTIBLE, THE LOSS OF VALUE OF MY CAR, AND BY THE INSENSITIVITY AND RUDENESS OF MERCEDES BENZ, WHOSE STAFF FAILS TO RETURN PHONE CALLS AND IS GENERALLY UNCOOPERATIVE. *TR
