THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THOMAS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP (67791 MALL RD, ST CLAIRSVILLE, OH 43950, (877) 268-3302) AND THEY UPGRADED AND REPLACED THE STEERING BOX, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE POWER STEERING PUMP TO TROUBLESHOOT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST. IT WAS REPORTED TO ME BY GRADY AMBULANCE IN ATLANTA GEORGIA THAT THEIR RAM 3500 AMBULANCES, YEARS 2010 THRU 2013, WERE EXPERIENCING COMPLETE LOSS OF STEERING DUE TO THE FRACTURING OF THE DRAG LINK TO PITMAN ARM BALL JOINT DURING LOW SPEED HIGH TURN ANGLE PARKING LOT MANEUVERS. ELEVEN VIN'S WERE SENT TO ME, WHICH RANGED BETWEEN 2010-2013 MODEL YEARS, AND MILEAGE RANGING FROM APPROXIMATELY 80K -140K MILES. IT WAS REPORTED AND VERIFIED THROUGH WARRANTY THAT SOME OF THESE 11 VEHICLES HAD RECALL 13V-529 PERFORMED FOR THE TIE ROD PRIOR TO THE DRAG LINK BALL JOINT FRACTURING, AND SOME OF THE 11 VEHICLES DID NOT HAVE 13V-529 CAMPAIGN PERFORMED PRIOR TO THE DRAG LINK BALL JOINT FRACTURING. THE REPLACEMENT OF THE DRAG LINK "END" WHERE THE BALL JOINT WAS FRACTURING WAS NOT PART OF RECALL CAMPAIGN 13V-529 SO GRADY WAS PURCHASING THE DRAG LINK END SERVICE PARTS FROM LOCAL DEALERSHIPS AND REPLACING AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE. I RECEIVED 3 OF THE DRAG LINK ENDS, SHIPPED FROM ATLANTA TO MY OFFICE AT FCA US LLC IN AUBURN HILLS. I NOTIFIED MY MANAGEMENT OF THIS AND GAVE 2 OF THE 3 DRAG LINK ENDS WITH FRACTURED STUDS TO THE MATERIALS LAB FOR QUICK ANALYSIS. ALL 3 DRAG LINK ENDS AND BALL JOINTS APPEARED VISUALLY TO HAVE EXACTLY EXACTLY THE SAME FAILURE MODE, WHICH AT FIRST GLANCE WAS A FATIGUE FRACTURE (2 PC SEPARATION) THROUGH THE SHANK OF THE BALL STUD. FCA MATERIALSL LAB CONFIRMED FATIGUE WAS ROOT CAUSE. ALL MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS WERE WITHIN SPEC. NO EVIDENCE OF BALL JOINT OVERARTICULATION WAS APPARENT.

I HAVE HAD TWO RECALLS FROM CHRYSLER ON THIS TRUCK AND THEY HAVE FAILED TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PARTS TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIR. THE FIRST RECALL WAS N49 FROM NOV. 6TH 2013. YES, THAT'S 2013, OVER TWO TEARS AGO. THIS IS TO REPAIR A STEERING COMPONENT THAT COULD FAIL AND CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. I ALSO HAVE A RECALL P65 FROM OCT. 7TH 2014. THIS IS TO REPAIR A FUEL COMPONENT THAT COULD FAIL AND CAUSE A FIRE IN THE VEHICLE. BOTH OF THESE ITEMS PRESENT SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES TO THE OPERATORS AND PASSENGERS OF THE VEHICLE. PLEASE HELP ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH THE UNRESPONSIVE AUTO MANUFACTURER.

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shut off without warning. The contact stated that the failure occurred after driving over a bump in the roadway. The contact stated that occasionally, while wiggling the ignition key the engine would turn on before shutting off. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who determined that the ignition switch was faulty and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V373000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 270,000.

WIN ignition module has slowly been causing difficult starting problems. Now, over even slight bumps, the sloppiness in the connection between the key and the WIN module allows the key to move and the vehicle to shut off while driving. This is becoming more and more common and is very dangerous. Just on my 10 minute drive home from work today, it occurred 4 times. One time, I had just turned right on a red light (with plenty of space between me and oncoming traffic) and the truck shut off completely. Without the key being in the exact right position, I had difficulty restarting the truck and could have been very dangerous to me and the vehicle coming toward me.

THE IGNITION SWITCH IS LOOSE AND HAVE A HARD TIME STARTING VEHICLE. WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY SOME TIMES THE TRUCK WILL NOT TURN ON POWER. IF YOU MOVE THE KEY THE VEHICLE WILL THEN BE ABLE TO START. ONCE YOU LET THE KEY GO SOME TIMES IT WILL SHUT OFF AGAIN AND SOME TIMES IT WILL STAY RUNNING. IT WILL ONLY STAY RUNNING UNTIL YOU HIT A BUMP, ONCE YOU HIT A BUMP THE VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF. LOOSING ALL POWER, LIGHTS, AND ASSISTED BRAKING. THIS HAPPENS WHILE STATIONARY AND MOVING.

My husband, our son, and I were traveling down the highway at about 60-65mph when we started hearing a low winding sound. Seconds later, before my husband could get the truck over to the shoulder of the road, there was a loud banging sound coming from underneath the truck that sounded like something was coming through the floorboard. He was finally able to get the truck pulled to the shoulder of the road but wasn't able to put the truck in the park position. He had to use the park brake to get the truck to completely stop. Once the tow truck safely lifted the truck, you could clearly see gears hanging amd what looked to be remains of the transfer case. The truck was towed to a body shop where several codes were discovered, which all pertained to the truck going into 4wd by itself without any warning and unknowing to the driver. This glitch is what appears to have caused the transfer case to grenade, further causing damage to the drive shaft and smashing the fuel line. We, as owners, had the transfer case serviced and fluids flushed just two weeks prior to this happening After further investigation and conversations with the local Dodge dealer, it appears that this has happened in several situations yet no safety recalls have been issued. There is a national backorder for transfer cases for our particular year which is a red flag. We're now left with an over $8100.00 bill and everyone pointing the finger at each other. This could have ended tragically had there been more traffic on the road when the truck began stalling on the busy interstate.

My family and I were traveling down the interstate about 60-65mph in 2 wheel drive when out of nowhere we started hearing a whining/roaring noise that quickly got louder. Seconds later, there was a loud rumbling noise that sounded like something was coming through the floorboard of the truck. Luckily, I was able to steer the truck to the shoulder of the road and get it to stop, but the truck would not go into park. I had to use the park brake to make sure that it wouldn't roll. After the tow truck arrived and safely jacked the truck up, we immediately noticed that it was the transfer case that had exploded. Gears were hanging out in plain site and it caused a bend in my front driveshaft. There were no warning signs and I had just had the transfer case and my transmission serviced and flushed 2 weeks prior. This put my family's and other lives in danger because had there been more traffic on the road at the time this happened, I wouldn't have had time or room to maneuver my truck safely to get it off the road. We could have been rear ended or had broken parts fly off the truck, that would have been out of my control. The truck was towed to the shop where I had the transfer case serviced, but as of now there's a national backorder on transfer cases for this truck. In speaking with the dealer and doing my own research, I've also learned that there has been a recall on the transfer cases of 2016 and newer Ram 3500 trucks. This needs to be looked into asap. Codes pulled from the truck at the auto shop where the truck currently is are c1404, c1405, c140d stating that the transfer case motor puts the system in 4wd by itself while driving without any warning.

WHEN STARTING ENGINE AND DEPRESSING BRAKE PEDAL MOVING SHIFT LEVER TO PARK OR DRIVE THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION LOCKUP. IF BRAKE IS FIRMLY APPLIED THE ENGINE WILL STALL IMMEDIATELY WHEN AFTER STARING. IF BRAKE IS NOT HELD FIRMLY THE VEHICLE LAUNCHES IMMEDIATELY. THAT WHAT HAPPENED THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENED AND I RAN OVER A CAR PARKED ON MY RIGHT SIDE. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 25 TO 30 TIMES SINCE THE FIRST TIME. THE DEALERSHIP TELLS ME THERE ARE KNOW FAULT CODES SO THEIR IS NOTHING WRONG. LEFT AT THE DEALER FOR A WEEK AND THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. I ASKED THE PARTS DEPARTMENT IF THEY HAD REPLACEMENT PARTS AND HOW MUCH THEY COST. THE INFORMED ME THEY COST $150.00 BUT DID NOT HAVE ANY AND HAD NO IDEA WHEN THEY WOULD HAVE STOCK. THEY SAY THEY DON'T KNOW WHEN THE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. IT'S BEEN A TOTAL OF 3 MONTHS. DEALER SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME FROM THE BEGINNING THAT THEY'D PUT MY NAME ON A LIST. I AM CONCERNED THEY WILL KEEP PUTTING THIS OFF WHILE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. TIE ROD ISSUES CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WHICH IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT MINE AND FAMILY'S SAFETY. CHRYSLER HAS SENT OUT A RECALL NOTICE ON THIS VEHICLE STATING THE PARTS TO FIX IT WOULD BE AVAILABLE JAN 6, 2014. AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD CHRYSLER HAS LIMITED THEM TO HOW MANY PARTS THEY COULD ORDER A DAY TO FIX THE RECALL. I WAS PUT ON A LIST WITH NO GUARANTEE OF WHEN THE RECALL COULD BE FIXED OR SCHEDULED. THE PROBLEM STATES ON THE RECALL THAT THIS PART BREAKAGE COULD CAUSE LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND/OR CRASH WITHOUT WARNING. I'M FILING A COMPLAINT IN THAT CHRYSLER IS FAILING TO REPAIR THIS RECALL IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. *TR

ON 10-17-11, I TOOK TRUCK TO 5-STAR DODGE @3068 RIVERSIDE DR-MACON, GA 31210. IT HAD 4 RECALLS - K-17,K-33,K-34 AND L-16. THE L-16 BEING LEFT TIE ROD END. I PICK TRUCK UP 10-18-11(TUES). SAT - 10-22-11 I CALLED SERVICE DEPT AND TELL THEM MY STEERING WHEEL IS NOT ALIGNED AND TRUCK IS PULLING TO RIGHT. THEY TELL ME TO BRING IN 10-24-11 AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. THE STEERING WHEEL CENTERED AND TRUCK ALIGNMENT DONE. ON 11-5-11, CALLED SERVICE CENTER TO REPORT THAT MY NEW TIRES ON FRONT WERE SHOWING WIRE STICKING OUT AND IT WAS VIBRATING IN FRONT. AGAIN IT WAS SAT AND NO ONE WAS THERE TO LOOK AT IT, SO I TOOK IT BACK ON 11-7-11, THE DEALERSHIP HAD TO REPLACE TO FRONT TIRES AND SAID THEY WERE SENDING IT TO THE WARNER ROBINS DEALERSHIP FOR THE ALIGNMENT, THEY COULD NOT DO IT, SO THEY SENT IT TO RAFFEILD TIRE IN WARNER ROBINS. UPON PICKING TRUCK UP THEY TELL ME IT IS STILL NOT ALIGNED. SO I RECOMMENDED A TIRE BUSINESS IN BOLINGBROKE THAT WORKS ON BIG TRUCKS AND I KNEW THEY COULD ALIGN IT, THEY DO ALL OUR WORK TRUCKS AND WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. NOW 3-30-12, I PICK UP A LOAD OF HAY FOR HORSES(2400LBS PLUS TRAILER) AND COME HOME, I LEAVE TO PICK UP MY DAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL AND I LOOSE CONTROL OF TRUCK IN ALLEY AT CEMETERY BEHIND OUR HOUSE, THE LEFT TIE ROD END IS BROKEN. THE TRUCK CANNOT BE TOWED, IT HAS TO BE REPAIRED ON SIGHT. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP TO REPORT THIS AND THEY DO NOT SEEM CONCERNED AND NEVER CALLED ME BACK TO CHECK STATUS OF TRUCK. I HAD WATTS SERVICE CENTER COME AND LOOK AT TRUCK AND REPLACE THE LEFT TIE ROD END. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THE RECALL WAS NEVER DONE (L-16) ON MY TRUCK, I HAVE THE PART THAT WAS TAKEN OFF AND IT LOOKS TO BE THE ORIGINAL LEFT TIE ROD END THAT CAME ON TRUCK WHEN PURCHASED . AFTE HAVING THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CP$ HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP HAD DISCINTEGRATED.

2 MONTHS AFTER THE FACTORY WARRANTY EXPIRED, THE DIESEL FUEL PUMP STARTED TO LEAK DIESEL ALL OVER THE GROUND. I NOTICED THE LEAK ON THE ROAD OR THE DRIVEWAY, WHERE I PARKED THE TRUCK. AFTER ABOUT A WEEK I TOOK IT TO A GARAGE. THE TRUCK WAS STILL ABLE TO BE DRIVEN BECAUSE IT HAD NOT COMPLETELY BLOWN THE SEAL YET. HOWEVER, FUEL WAS LEAKING OUT OF IT CAUSING A SERIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL AND FIRE HAZARD. THIS IS HAPPENING SO FREQUENTLY IN THESE TRUCKS THAT THE PART, THAT COST $5800.00, IS ON SERIOUS BACK ORDER WITH DODGE. IT IS SO FAR BACK ORDERED THAT I HAD TO HAVE THIS PART REPLACED WITH AN AFTERMARKET PUMP. I CALLED DODGE AND ALSO EMAILED THEM TWICE, BUT THEY STONEWALLED ME AND REFUSED TO HELP OR GET ME ANYONE HIGHER THAN THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS (NOT EVEN A MANAGER) TO DISCUSS HAVING THEM COVER THIS EXPENSIVE PART THAT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE FOR A LOT OF DODGE OWNERS. DRIVE LINE ISSUE: THE SUPPORT BEARING ON THE DRIVE SHAFT, WENT WHILE DRIVING WITH OUT NOTICE. LUCKILY I WAS DRIVING DOWN MY DRIVE WAY WHICH IS ABOUT 500 FEET LONG AND WASN'T GOING BUT ABOUT 15 MPH. IT HAD TO BE TOWED IN AND WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. I LOVE MY TRUCK AND CURRENTLY HAVE 136K MILES ON IT. THE FUEL MILEAGE WASN'T IMPRESSIVE BUT MINOR MODS HAVE BROUGHT IT CLOSER TO 20 MPG WHEN EMPTY. I THINK I STILL HAVE PICTURES OF BOTH THE SNAPPED TIE ROD AND WHEN IT WAS WORE OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR SHOP WHERE THE COSMETIC DAMAGES WERE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED AND DIAGNOSED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,000.

WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ONE EVENING MY TRUCK STARTED MAKING THE MOST AWFUL GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE. THEN MY ABS LIGHT AND SERV 4WD LIGHT CAME ON THE DASH. A FEW SECONDS LATER THE TUCKED BOBBLED AND WEAVED AND I COULD NO LONGER STEER IT. WHEN I GOT OUT TO LOOK AT THE PROBLEM THE WHEEL ITSELF WAS RESTING ON THE HUB ASSEMBLY. PREVIOUS TO THIS I'VE HAD TO REPLACE FRONT END PARTS LIKE CRAZY. NEW BALL JOINTS AND I JOINTS ANNUALLY. BRAKES TWICE A YEAR, AND IT WILL EAT UP TIRES ON THE FRONT. ALSO THE TRUCK WILL NOT STAY ALIGNED. I'VE CONTACTED CHRYSLER AND FIRST THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL, BUT THEN THEY STARTED TO GIVE ME THE RUN AROUND. RECEIVED RECALL NOTICE ON DECEMBER 1, 2014 STATING THAT THE DIESEL FUEL HEATER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR MAY OVERHEAT AND CAUSE A FUEL LEAK. THE DIESEL FUEL HEATER HOUSING AT THE FUEL HEATER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR MAY OVERHEAT, LEADING TO THE FAILURE OF THE O-RINGS THAT SEAL THE MALE ELECTRICAL TERMINALS IN THE DIESEL FUEL FILTER/HEATER ASSEMBLY. A LEAKING DIESEL FUEL FILTER/HEATER COULD CAUSE UNDERHOOD SMOKE AND/OR AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE. AS OF TODAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2015 THERE IS NO REMEDY AVAILABLE PER THE NHTSA WEBSITE AND THE LOCAL DODGE DEALER HAS CONFIRMED AS SUCH. SINCE THERE IS NO REMEDY AVAILABLE, THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP WANTS TO CHARGE ME TO INSPECT IT FOR THE PROBLEM. I DON'T FEEL THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE A RECALLED VEHICLE INSPECTED FOR THE RECALL NOR SHOULD I HAVE TO WAIT THREE MONTHS OR MORE FOR A SOLUTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER. THE TRAILER WAS PREPARED WITH THE RAMPS DOWN FOR THE TRACTOR TO BE BACKED OFF. UPON BACKING THE TRACTOR OFF OF THE TRAILER, WHEN THE REAR TRACTOR WHEELS MOVED TO THE DOWN RAMP, THE SHIFT IN WEIGHT CAUSED THE TRUCK, FLATBED TRAILER AND TRACTOR TO BEGIN ROLLING DOWN HILL FOR 300 YARDS AND THROUGH A BARBED WIRE FENCE AND FINALLY COMING TO A STOP DUE TO UPHILL SLOPE IN THE TERRAIN. ON JUNE 11, 2013 I WAS BACKING INTO MY GARAGE WHEN I LOST MY STEERING CAPABILITY FOR MY VEHICLE. I EXITED MY VEHICLE TO TRY AND DETERMINE WHAT MAY HAVE CAUSED THIS. THE TIE ROD REPLACEMENT WAS COVERED UNDER A SAFETY RECALL AND WAS REPLACED THE FOLLOWING DAY. DUE TO THE TIE ROD BEING BAD IT CAUSED MY DRIVERS SIDE FRONT TIRE TO BECOME CUPPED AND DAMAGED. I ASKED THE SALES MANAGE AT ZIMMERMAN'S DODGE ABOUT THE FAULTY TIRE AND HE TOLD HE TO JUST ROTATE IT TO THE REAR. THE FOUR TIRES ON MY TRUCK WERE PURCHASED IN FEBRUARY. ALL FOUR TIRES WERE ROTATED IN MAY AFTER APPROX. 5,000 MILES. THE TIRE THAT WAS WORN OUT BECAUSE OF THE FAULTY TIE ROD WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION WHEN I QUESTIONED MY MECHANIC. 2010 DODGE RAM 3500 INTEGRATED BRAKE CONTROLLER DOES NOT WORK WELL ENOUGH TO STOP TRAILER. THE CONTROLLER DOES NOT SEND BRAKING VOLTAGE TO TRAILER FOR A FULL 3 SECONDS AFTER THE TRUCK BRAKES ARE APPLIED AND TAKES 2-3 SECONDS TO RAMP UP THE VOLTAGE AFTER THE TRUCK BRAKES ARE APPLIED. IF THE CONTROLLER IS SET TO A SETTING OF 5-10 THE CONTROLLER ONLY SENDS 3.0 TO THE TRAILER. THE CONTROLLER NEVER SENDS OVER 3.0 NO MATTER HOW LONG OR HARD THE BRAKES ARE APPLIED. THE RESULT IS WHEN STOPPING, THE TRAILER PUSHES THE TRUCK INTO INTERSECTIONS. THE BRAKE CONTROLLER WAS REPLACED AND IT STILL WORKS THE SAME. CONTACTED DODGE AND AFTER PLAYING PHONE TAG NO SOLUTION IN SIGHT. THIS IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. I HAVE BEEN CLOSE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE STOPS SHORT OR CHANGES LANES AND STOPS ELIMINATING THE EXTRA STOPPING DISTANCE I ALLOW BECAUSE OF THE INEFFECTIVE BRAKE CONTROLLER. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE CHANGING GEARS AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE WOULD MOMENTARILY SURGE FORWARD. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE SHIFTING INTO HIGHER GEARS AS WELL AS DOWNSHIFTING INTO LOWER GEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS INTENDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,800 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,000.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DIFFICULT TO STOP WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES TO HAVE THE BRAKE CONTROL MODULE REPLACED; HOWEVER, IT DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PERMANENTLY FIX THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 400 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 11000. THE CONSUMER STATED AS OF 05/12/11 THE BRAKES STILL DO NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO THE TRAILER BRAKES. THE CONSUMER STATED IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO STOP WHEN CONNECTED TO THE 5TH WHEEL. I HAVE A 2010 DODGE RAM 3500 (SINGLE REAR) 6 MONTHS OLD WITH (4000) MILES. I WAS TOWING MY CAMPER (8000LBS) AND THE ENGINE STARTED KNOCKING - I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT I PURCHASED BAD DIESEL FUEL (KEROSENE IN FUEL) AND IT CAUSED THE INJECTOR TO HYDRO-LOCK AND FLOOD A CYLINDER AND THIS IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, AND IT WILL COST ME ($1000+) TO FIX THIS VEHICLE. THE ANALYSIS THEY CONDUCTED ON THE FUEL WAS VISUAL, AND THIS WAS THERE FINAL DETERMINATION. I CONTACTED CHRYSLER CORPORATE AND I WAS TOLD THEY COULD ONLY GO BY WHAT THE TECH SAYS AND THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME. I CALLED OTHER DEALERSHIPS TO ASK IF THEY HAVE HAD A RUN ON DIESEL VEHICLES WITH BAD FUEL AND NOT ONE OF THEM SAID THEY HAD A PROBLEM. I BELIEVE I HAVE A BAD INJECTOR AND CHRYSLER WILL NOT ANALYZE THEM TO GUARANTEE I WILL NOT HAVE FUTURE PROBLEMS. I TURNED THIS OVER TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND THEY ARE FORCING THE DEALERSHIP TO DO FURTHER EVALUATIONS. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT ANOTHER CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE THE FUEL ANALYZED AND DETERMINE WHAT ACTUALLY CAUSED THE FAILURE.
