IT APPEARS THERE ARE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS ALREADY BUT THIS FIRST PART FOR THE BRAKES/STABILITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AREN'T CLASSIFIED AS A RECALL BUT INSTEAD THEY PUT IT AS A CUSTOMER CAMPAIGN. I WAS SLOWING DOWN TO MAKE A TURN AT AN INTERSECTION, THEN THE BACK TIRE LOCKED UP UNDER BRAKING CAUSING THE REAR OF THE BIKE TO START SLIDING OUT WHICH ULTIMATELY MADE THE BIKE HIGH SIDE IN THE CORNER. THIS CONDITION HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE A ISSUE WITH A LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE APON STARTING THE MOTORCYCLE, WHICH DISABLES THE ABS/STABILITY MANAGEMENT. I ENDED UP BREAKING MY ANKLE IN 3 SPOTS, TORN TENDONS, AND HAVE NERVE DAMAGE, THE DOCTOR SAID MY BOOT WAS THE ONLY THING KEEPING MY FOOT FROM BEING TORN OFF. THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED PRIOR TO ANY KNOWN INFORMATION TO ME ABOUT A PROBLEM IN SEPTEMBER 2019. THE NEXT ISSUE HAS ALSO BEEN DOCUMENTED BUT AGAIN NO INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO ME ABOUT IT AT ALL, I FOUND ALL THIS INFO OUT AFTER THE ACCIDENT. IN JANUARY 2020 GOT A CUSTOMER CAMPAIGN LETTER REGARDING THE ABS WHICH I STARTED LOOKING INTO AND FOUND OUT THESE ARE KNOWN PROBLEMS. THE DEALERSHIP (BOB LANDPHERE MOTORCYCLE) LOCATED IN TIGARD OREGON CLAIMS TO HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE OF A MISS SHIFT/ FALSE GEAR SELECTION. IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND WHICH WILL CREATE AN OVER REV SITUATION BECAUSE IT GOES INTO NEUTRAL INSTEAD OF 2ND GEAR WHICH IS DANGEROUS BY ITS SELF BUT IT GETS WORSE, WHEN THEN TRYING TO SELECT 2ND GEAR THE MOTORCYCLE CAN STRETCH/ AND SNAP THE CHAIN WHICH IS VERY DANGEROUS. MY BIKE HAS THIS ISSUE BUT AFTER LOOKING INTO IT, THE DEALERSHIP CLAIMED TO FIX THAT BEFORE I PURCHASED THE MOTORCYCLE & SUZUKI CLAIMS MY BIKE IS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THAT I WILL HAVE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM OUT OF POCKET SINCE ITS "ALREADY" BEEN REPLACED, MY CHAIN IS VERY STRETCHED AND I COULD ONLY IMAGINE ITS NEARING ITS STRETCH LIMIT AND WILL SNAP.
