The contact owns a 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V769000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the local dealer had expressed that the parts were ordered but had not been delivered. Additionally, the contact stated that this issue and been ongoing for several weeks. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Component: Front Brake Master Cylinder Body on 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa (GSX1300RRQ) is suffering from the same issue in the recall for "GSX1300RM2(Hayabusa) Front Brake Master Cylinder Body Replacement Recall Campaign." Issue recognized in January 2024 after observing in a TLOCS check that no brake fluid was present in the check window of both the master cylinder and clutch cylinder. Safety: Can lead the excessive brake lever play under certain condition, and in the worst case, the braking distance may increase, resulting in potential injury, accident, or death. Problem reproduced or confirmed by dealer: Presently attempting to remedy the issue under the manufacturers 12 month warranty. Warning lamps or messages: There were no warning indicators for low to no brake fluid in either the front brake master cylinder or the clutch cylinder.
