The contact owned a 2010 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while her partner was driving at 30 MPH, he crashed into a vehicle due to his vision being obstructed by the sun. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact's partner was taken to the hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for whiplash, a cervical strain on his hips, and pain in his right side of his ribs. The other driver was also taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, but did not sustain any injuries. A police report was filed. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to an independent tow yard. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The failure mileage was 188,760.

I TOOK MY CAR INTO THE AUTONATION DEALERSHIP LOCATED AT 11200 NORTH FWY, SERVICE ROAD E, FORT WORTH, TX 76177 FOR SERVICE IN MID 2016. WHILE SPEAKING WITH THE SERVICE ADVISOR REGARDING THE WORK BEING PERFORMED ON MY CAR. I ADVISED I HAD RECEIVED INFORMATION REGARDING THE RECALL AND ASKED IF THEY COULD REPLACE THE DAMAGED PART SINCE MY CAR WAS ALREADY THERE. THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART YET BUT THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME ONCE THEY DID. I ASKED HOW LONG IT WOULD BE UNTIL THE NECESSARY PART (S) TO FIX THE RECALLED ISSUES. THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW BUT THAT THEY WOULD NOTIFY ME WHEN THEY HAD THE PARTS. I WAS TOLD TO JUST CONTINUE USING MY CAR UNTIL THE PARTS ARRIVED. I EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT CONTINUING TO DRIVE THE CAR WITH A FAULTY AIR BAG ESPECIALLY SINCE MY 14 YEAR OLD OFTEN SAT IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WITH MY YOUNGER SON AGE 2 1/2 SITTING DIRECTLY BEHIND THEM. I STATED I AM PERMANENTLY DISABLED AND SOMETIMES CANNOT DRIVE SO MY HUSBAND AND MY CARE ASSISTANT OFTEN DROVE FOR ME THUS PUTTING EVEN MORE PEOPLE AT RISK. AFTER NOT RECEIVING NOTIFICATION FROM THE DEALERSHIP 2 MONTHS LATER, I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES, LEAVING MESSAGES YET DIDN'T RECEIVE A RESPONSE. I FEEL I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENT. THAT DAY I BOUGHT MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED A RENTAL CAR COMPARABLE TO MY 300 TO USE UNTIL THE PARTS ARRIVED AND MY CAR FIXED. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING AROUND NOW FOR OVER 15 MONTHS IN AN UNSAFE VEHICLE. I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME ASSISTANCE PLEASE IN RESOLVING THE ISSUE. OUR RECALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN MANAGED WITH PROVIDING ME A RENTAL CAR SIMILAR TO MY 300 UNTIL THE PARTS ARRIVED AND OUR CAR FIXED. WHAT STEPS DO I NEED TO TAKE TO GET MY CAR FIXED AND US A RENTAL? THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND STERNUM THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while attempting to turn off the vehicle, the vehicle remained powered on without the key in the ignition. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the WIN module replaced however, the vehicle was not repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V200000 (Electrical System) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The failure mileage was 124,725.

THE TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM) HAS FAILED ON MY VEHICLE. AT FIRST IT STARTED AS A DEAD BATTERY WHICH WAS REPLACED, THEN A PARASITIC DRAW WHICH COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED RIGHT AWAY, THEN CAUSED MY STARTED NOT TO HAVE POWER. THE CAR WOULD TURN ITSELF ON WHILE IT WAS TURNED OFF AND MAKE THE LIGHTS BUG OUT AND HORN SOUND. THEN IT WOULD STOP AND START AGAIN MULTIPLE TIMES DRAINING THE BATTERY. I WAS DRIVING BETWEEN STATES AND I STOPPED FOR GAS WHEN MY CAR NO LONGER STARTED AND WAS STRANDED THERE FOR HOURS BEFORE IT WOULD START AGAIN. ITS STATIONARY WHEN THE CAR WOULD TURN ITSELF ON AND OFF.

2010 CHRYSLER 300C. THE PUSH BUTTON MODULE IS DEFECTIVE CAUSING THE KEY FOB NOT TO WORK PROPERLY. I HAVE TO PUSH THE LOCK BUTTON ON THE KEY FOB THEN PRESS IT AGAINST THE PUSH BUTTON IN ORDER FOR IT TO CRANK. KEY FOB HAS NEW BATTERY, BUT IT STILL WON'T CRANK BY JUST PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL AND PUSHING THE START BUTTON.

SPECIFIC PROBLEM: HEATH VENTILATION SYSTEM. THE SPECIFIC PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THE CHRYSLER 300 2010 MODELS ARE THE HEATING (OR) INTERIOR HEATING SYSTEM. STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. WHEN THE MOTOR IS RUNNING, WHETHER YOUR ARE TRAVELING OR PARKED IDLE (MOTOR RUNNING) FOR ABOUT AN HOUR OR TWO, THE VEHICLE WOULD START GETTING WARM AND YOU WOULD FEEL THE HEAT COMING FROM THE ARM REST AND UNDER THE DASH BOARD EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE THE HEAT TURNED OFF, AND ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. HERE IS THE CATCH. SAY YOU ARE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY OR LOCAL STREETS FOR TWO (2) HOURS, YOU WOULD FEEL THE ARM REST VERY WARM AND YOUR FEET ARE WARMER THAN USUAL. IF YOU LIFT THE ARM REST UP AND STICK YOUR HAND INSIDE THE POCKET YOU WOULD FEEL THE HEAT COMING OUT OF THERE. YOU ALSO FEEL THE HEAT COMING FROM UNDER THE DASH BOARD BY THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS. WHEN TRAVELING AND BREATHING-IN THE HEAT YOU WOULD FEEL LIKE YOU ARE TIRED AND WANT TO SLEEP, WHEN IN FACT YOU DON'T. THIS IS HAPPENING IN ALL OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED MODEL, 2010 OF CHRYSLER. I FIRST NOTICED IT IN 2011 WHEN I GOT THE FIRST VEHICLE, AND THEN IN 2016 WHEN I GOT A SECOND (2ND) ONE (CHRYS. 300 2010) (USED). WHEN AIR TRAVELING I USUALLY RENT THE SAME TYPE OF VEHICLE FROM RENTAL CAR COMPANIES AND THE SAME THIN IS HAPPENING WITH THE HEAT COMING OUT OF THE ARM REST AND THE FROM THE DASH BOARD (FLOOR). I MEANT TO WRITE ABOUT THIS MATTER FOR A WHILE, BUT ONLY NOW I AM GETTING TO IT. IN CLOSING, HERE IS WHAT YOUR AGENCY SHOULD DO IN CONDUCTING YOUR OWN SURVEY. HAVE YOUR DRIVERS OR ANY EMPLOYEES THAT HAS THE ABOVE MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR VEHICLE, TRAVEL IN IT FOR TWO (2) HOURS, THEN HAVE THEM FEEL THE ARM REST, THEY WOULD SEE HOW WARM IT IS. HAVE THEM LIFT UP THE ARM REST AND PLACE THEIR HAND INSIDE, ASK THEM IF IT IS HOT OR WARM. ASK THEM HOW WARM IS THEIR FEET THERE AT THE BRAKE AND GAS PEDALS. YOU WOULD AGREE THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG.

FOR THE PAST TWO MONTHS WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE, MY RPM WILL JUMP TO OVER 3 WHILE BARELY PRESSING ON THE GAS. THIS ISSUE TENDS TO HAPPEN MORE WHEN I SLOW DOWN (BUT NOT COMPLETELY STOP, LIKE AT A CHANGING LIGHT) AND ATTEMPT TO SPEED BACK UP. MY CAR DOESN'T ACCELERATE VERY FAST BUT THE RPM WILL BE VERY HIGH. ALSO, WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY, GOING A CONSTANT SPEED MY RPM WILL JUMP UP AND DOWN. I'VE ATTEMPTED TO USE MY AUTOSTICK TO GET THE RPM TO DROP BACK DOWN AND IT ONLY HELPS OCCASIONALLY. I'VE HAD SPARK PLUGS REPLACED, A NEW BATTERY, A TRANSMISSION FLUSH, WIRES REPLACED FOR THE THROTTLE BODY (THEY WERE BROKEN/BURNT), MY CAR SAID IT HAD THE WRONG OIL IN IT, SO I GOT ANOTHER OIL CHANGE, I'VE HAD THE TRANSMISSION FLASHED TWICE. I'VE HAD 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE/SHOPS LOOK AT MY CAR (INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP) AND NONE OF THEM CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT'S CAUSING IT, ALL REPAIRS HAVE TOTALED OVER THE LAST TWO MONTHS SINCE HAVING THIS ISSUE, ROUGHLY $1,500. THE ISSUE IS STILL HAPPENING AND THIS IS MY SECOND CHRYSLER 300C.

THE CAMS AND LIFTERS NEED AT 115,000 MILES NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WENT ON. LIFTERS AREN'T AVAILABLE FOR THE 5.7 V8 HEMI ENGINE. PER DEALERSHIP MECHANICS CHRYSLER HAS KNOW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HAS NOT RECALLED VEHICLES THE HAVE THIS ENGINE.

MY CHRYSLER 300 WIRELESS IGNITION NODE ( WIN) EXHIBITING A BINDING CONDITION OF THE SOLENOID LATCH. AS A RESULT OF THE DEFECT MY KEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH (WIN MODULE) PRIOR TO PLACING IN PARK. I HAVE TO USE FORCE TO PUT KEY IN IGNITION AND USE FORCE TO PULL KEY OUT OF IGNITION. I SPOKE WITH A CHRYSLER CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE NAME MICHELLE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT MY VEHICLE DOES NOT FALL WITHIN THE BUILD DATE FOR THIS RECALL EVEN THOUGH IT HAS SIMILAR TRAITS. MICHELLE TOLD ME THAT MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT ON DECEMBER 10, 2009 ON THE 19TH HOUR. THE RECALL ONLY APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT JANUARY 18- MARCH 11, 2010.

RECALL ON AIRBAG 01-13-2018 @ GALEANA, COLUMBIA SC. WHILE THERE I HAD AN OIL CHANGE. AFTER A FEW WEEKS, I NOTICE TICKING FROM ENGINE. I CHECKED THE OIL AND IT WAS A QUART LOW, I TOPPED IT OFF WITH 1 QT. ANOTHER COUPLE OF WEEKS THE TICKING STARTED AGAIN ON 2-25-18 ON WAY TO CHURCH, IT PROGRESSIVELY WORSEN. I STOPPED AND CHECK THE OIL, IT WAS NEARLY EMPTY. I TOPPED IT OFF WITH A 5 QTS OF FULL SYNTHETIC. DROVE SLOWLY TO CHURCH. AFTER LEAVING CHURCH, THE NOISE WOSEN. I HAD AAA TOW IT HOME. I HAD IT TOWED TO GP AUTOS WHERE THE DIAGNOSIS WAS THE ENGINE WAS DONE AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. I HAD IT TOWED TO DUKES AUTO IN LANCASTER SC WHERE DIAGNOSIS WAS CONFIRMED; THE ENGINE NEED TO BE REPLACED. NO ONE CAN EXPLAINED WHERE THE OIL WENT. I'VE CALLED GALEANA SEVERAL TIMES, TALKED TO JOHN, SERVICE SUPERVISOR. THE MAINTENANCE LIGHT NEVER CAME ON, THE OIL GAUGE READ NORMAL. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS DISAPPEARING OIL. ON 1/12/2017 I TOOK MY CHRYSLER 300 TO MOORE CHRYSLER BECAUSE OF A GROWLING NOISE IN THE ENGINE THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS SO THEY KEPT IT TWO DAYS CALLED SAID IT WAS DONE PAYED 1517.99 DOLLARS DROVE IT HOME, PULLED IN THE GARAGE HEARD THE SAME SOUND AS WHEN I TOOK IN THE FIRST TIME CALLED THEM TOLD ME BRING IT BACK FOR ANOTHER 1400.00 DOLLARS WE'LL LOOK AT IT NO WAY TOOK TO A MAN WHO BUILDS ENGINES FOR A LIVING HE TOOK THE OIL CAP OFF PUT HIS EAR DOWN TO THE ENGINE AND SAID YOUR TIMING CHAIN GUIDES ARE GONE THERE RUBBING METAL TO METAL AND IF YOU DON'T GET IT FIXED YOU WILL BLOW AN ENGINE. I OWN CHRYSLER 300 2010 KEEP IT WELL MAINTAINED. PAST FEW WEEKS IT HAS BEEN RUNNING POORLY HESITANT TO START. THOUGH IT MAY NEED NEW BATTERY. 61000 MILES. FRI 11/4/2016 DRIVING ON INTERSTATE I-93 ENGINE SEIZED!!!!!! NO WARNING. NO OIL LIGHT. NO ENGINE LIGHTS WENT ON NOTHING. L ALMOST GOT KILLED ON HIGHWAY!! TOWED IT TO SERVICE STATION THAT WAS 200 MILES AWAY FROM HOME. HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY. CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY SAID I HAVE TO TOW IT TO DEALERSHIP TO DETERMINE IF IT IS COVERED.... HERE WE GO. THERE HAS BEEN AT LEAST 2800 COMPLAINTS AGAINST CHRYSLER ENGINE FAILURES DUE TO OIL SLUDGE DUE TO DEFECTIVE ENGINES. THERE IS A PENDING CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT VS CHRYSLER 2.7 LITE V6 ENGINE. LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE TO HEAD DOWN THAT ROAD. I CANT AFFORD A 6000.00 REPAIR!!!!

WHILE DRIVING ON MY WAY TO WORK I WAS PULLING UP TO A STOP SIGN BEFORE MERGING ONTO BUSY TRAFFIC ON A MAIN ROAD WHEN MY CAR CUT OFF. I TRIED STARTING IT AGAIN BUT IT WOULD TURN OVER BUT IT WOULD NOT STAY RUNNING. AFTER TOW ATTEMPTS I STOPPED TRYING TURNED ON MY HAZARDS AND SIGNALED FOR THE CARS BEHIND TO TRY TO GO AROUND (AS THIS WAS NOT EASY AS I WAS BLOCKING TRAFFIC). NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE ON, OR CAME ON PREVIOUSLY, I MAINTAINED ADEQUATE 3000 MI OIL CHANGES, AND MAINTENANCE. MEANWHILE A POLICE OFFICER HELPED ME PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND MOVED ME OUT OF THE WAY OF TRAFFIC AND STAYED NEAR WHILE I WAITED ON THE TOW TRUCK. I AM GRATEFUL THAT MY CAR DID NOT STALL OUT ON THE HIGHWAY WHILE I WAS TRANSPORTING MY CHILD. THE THOUGHT OF MY CAR SUDDENLY STALLING IS FRUSTRATING AND SCARY! WITH THE MILEAGE OF MY CAR, THE ENGINE SHOULD BE THE LEAST OF MY WORRIES.

On May 9th I went to pick up my check and I freaking ran over run over a big rock in the street and it it put like a little hole in my oil pan well this is my first car I've had already my second car I haven't had it for that long so what I did was I'm going to try to get home as the oil slowly leaking out but I was going to try to get home and I drive for like for like 3 minutes at like 20 at like 25 miles per hour 30 miles per hour and like probably like three or four minutes from that incident and I stopped before that too to get the money and then I tried to raise home whatever I'm driving and in the key pops out the addition but it always pops out the ignition crazy and s*** but then the car just like like the lights just act like they they just died on me while I was driving he pops out the lights or whatever and then I stayed that day with my car that happened at 5:00 I was trying to patch up the oil coming out and it turned out to be 2:00 when I noticed it was 2:00 and the oil still coming out all this extra s*** I was probably 1:00 and I bought a oil I bought a one thing oil just to keep keep it in there and stuff cuz I thought I lightweight patched up and I end up getting it towed to my house and I'm the person I'm going to make sure it gets fixed before I drive this stuff is 138,000 Miles only had it for like 2 months now would be like three or four months but yeah and put the oil pan on and somebody stole my radio so I don't know they f***** up some stuff in there but I go to turn on like finally turning the car and stuff and then it is giving me a mobilizer warning it it dies out the battery when I was trying to do it excessively but it's like this stuff thing going on the key won't f****** stand in ignition you like pops out every time I turn it all the way over no matter what key it is only got two of the fob and the transponder the door maybe they've been broken into or something so it looks all sketchy can't put a key into the door and p0 513..

ON THANKSGIVING 2012 , I WAS COMING BACK FROM OUT OF TOWN AND DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY WHEN I LOOKED IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR AND NOTICED A BIT OF SMOKE. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE THE NIGHT WAS COLD IT APPEARED AS IF SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE CAR. HOWEVER, AFTER NOTICING THAT THE SMOKE GOT A BIG BIGGER, I PULLED OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I OPENED THE HOOD AND THERE WAS FIRE COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOOD WHERE THE ENGINE WAS. I ORDERED MY FAMILY INCLUDING MY 2 YEAR OLD BACK OUT OF THE CAR AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD EXPLODE. WE WAITED UNTIL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARRIVED BUT BY THEN THE FLAMES SUBSIDED. I WAITED ABOUT AN HOUR AND HALF IN THE COLD FOR AAA TO TOW MY CAR 154 MILES. I STILL HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR THE TOW UP TO THIS DAY. TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM. TOOK IT TO AAMCO AND THEY SAID A PLUG WAS MISSING AND ENGINE OIL LEAKED OUT ON THE MUFFLER AND CAUSED THE FIRE. NEXT INCIDENT, CAR STARTED STALLING ON ME SEVERAL TIMES. TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD THE COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE RE-PROGRAMMED (APRIL 2013). A WEEK AFTER GETTING THE COMPUTER FIXED, THE CAR STARTED STALLING AGAIN AND THIS TIME I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR. GOT THAT FIXED AND 3 MONTHS LATER, THE CAR STARTED STALLING AGAIN. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD IT WAS BECAUSE I NEEDED A NEW BATTERY. GOT THE BATTERY PUT IN AND THEN IN JUNE OF 2014, I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED ON ME AND THE CAR SHUT OFF. I SMELLED SMOKE LIKE SOMETHING WAS BURNING. AFTER GETTING INDEPENDENT DIAGNOSIS FROM THREE DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND AUTOMOTIVE SHOPS, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT MY ENGINE COMPLETELY FAILED. GOT THE ENGINE REBUILT AND AS OF SATURDAY JAN 24TH, 2015, CAR STARTED STALLING AGAIN BUT THIS TIME, ONLY WHEN I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG WITH THIS CAR! HELP! *TR

WAS DRIVING DOWN THE RD IN CITY LIMITS WHEN LIGHTNING BOLT LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL AS TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT...CAR BUCKED THROUGH INTERSECTION BEFORE STALLING IN MIDDLE OF RD NEARLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT... DROVE IMMEDIATELY TO DEALERSHIP WHILE STALLING AT EVERY LIGHT ON WAY THERE.. DEALERSHIP CLAIMED IT WAS EGR TUBE SEAL REPLACED AS I STARTED TO DRIVE OFF LIGHTS CAME BACK ON ... NO FIX... SO THEN DEALER CHANGED MAP SENSOR SAID DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD BE PROBLEM.. DRIVING HOME CAR STALLED AGAIN.. THE NEXT DAY WAS A HOLIDAY SO I GOT THE CAR HOME CALLED SERVICE THEY TOLD ME IT MAY BE LEARNING THE CAR AND TO CONTINUE TO DRIVE.. A WEEK LATER STILL STALLING EVERYDAY. CALLED SERVICE AND LEFT MESSAGE WITH NO RETURN CALL.. CAN NOT KEEP PAYING FOR RENTAL OR THEM TO TELL ME THEY DON'T KNOW. I'VE HAD THIS CAR MAYBE 8 MOS AND HAD ALL SERVICE DONE ON IT... WHEN COMING TO A STOP AT RED LIGHT VEHICLE RPMS DROPPED ALMOST TURNED OFF. CAR WOULDNT ACCELERATE AT NORMAL RATE OF SPEED AND THE STEERING WAS DIFFICULT AND THE VEHICLE WAS VERY UNSTABLE FEELING LIKE NO CONTROL OF THE CAR. THIS HAS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES AND ITS KINDA SCARY. *TR

WHILE DRIVING AT 35MPH WITH THE AC ON THE CAR SHUT DOWN. I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO STOP AND RE-START THE CAR AFTER A FEW MINUTES. SEVERAL DAYS LATER THE CAR SHUT DOWN AGAIN AT 40 MILES PER HOUR. I WAS BACKED OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY AND PROCEEDED DOWN THE STREET WHEN THE ABS AND ESC LIGHT BOTH CAME ON AT THE SAME TIME. I SAW ON THE INTERNET THAT THIS SAME DEFECT WAS IN 2011 AND 2012 CARS AND THEY WERE BEING REPAIRED. I WAS TOLD BY CHRYSLER THAT THIS WOULD NOT COVER MY CAR EVEN THOUGH THE RISK IS THE SAME. *TR

I WAS TRAVELING NORTH ON HWY I-81 IN STATE OF VIRGINIA WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL SET ON 70 MPH WHICH IS THE SPEED LIMIT. I WAS TRAVELING IN LINE WITH THE TRAFFIC I.E., SEVERAL VEHICLES IN FRONT OF ME, SEVERAL VEHICLES BEHIND ME, AND SEVERAL SEMI-TRUCKS ON MY RIGHT LANE, ALL AS A GROUP, NO ONE PASSING ANYONE, BUT IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER, IE., THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME WAS APPROXIMATELY 4 TO 5 VEHICLE SPACES IN FRONT OF ME, THE ONES TO MY REAR WERE APPROXIMATELY 2 TO 3 VEHICLE SPACES, AND THE SEMI-TRUCKS WERE RIGHT IN LINE WITH ME ONE BEHIND THE OTHERS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO EACH OTHER. I WAS STOPPED BY A STATE TROOPER WHO STATED THAT I WAS TRAVELING AT 85 MPH IN A 70 MPH ZONE AND WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE WAS A REASON FOR THAT. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD NO REASON SINCE I HAD MY CRUISE CONTROL ON 70 MPH. HE GAVE ME A TRAFFIC CITATION FOR RECKLESS DRIVING. UPON MY RETURN TO KENTUCKY, I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO MY DEALER TO HAVE THE SPEEDOMETER AND CRUISE CONTROL CHECKED. MY DEALER'S TECHNICIAN COULD NOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THEY RAN A 23 POINT CHECK (WHATEVER THAT MEANS) AND COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM BETWEEN THE CRUISE CONTROL AND THE SPEEDOMETER. EITHER THEY ARE NOT SYNCHRONIZED OR THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH AN ELECTRONIC SENSOR OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. I WOULD LIKE SOMEBODY KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH PROBLEMS OF THIS NATURE TO INVESTIGATE TO SEE WHAT CAUSED THIS. I WILL NOT USE THE CRUISE CONTROL AGAIN UNTIL SOMEONE GUARANTEES TO ME THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM HERE. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HORN AND RADIO CONTROLS ON THE STEERING WHEEL WERE INOPERABLE. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT STEERING WHEEL WAS NOT THE CORRECT STEERING WHEEL FOR HIS VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THEY WERE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WERE WORKING ON A REMEDY.
