The contact stated that once the vehicle was parked the gear shifter remained stuck in park(P). The contact stated had to manually depress the button under the gear shifter to move the gear shifter. The contact stated that after the first failure, the vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found; however, an unknown part was greased. The manufacturer was contacted, and the contact was referred to the local dealer and notified of NHTSA Campaign Number: 08V583000 (POWER TRAIN). The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to the residence and had not been driven since. The failure mileage was unknown.

The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the powertrain control module was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. The contact indicated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 06V341000 (Power Train). DODGE/CHRYSLER FLOOR SHIFTER RECALL [K39] DODGE KNOWS THEY HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE FLOOR SHIFTER, BUT IS ONLY COVERING A 3 MONTH [6/25/07-9/21/07] MANUFACTURING SPAN. DODGE NEEDS TO COVER THE WHOLE YEAR[2007]. OUR CAR WAS PARKED IN OUR DRIVEWAY WHEN THE SPRING BROKE AND WE COULD NO LONGER GET IT OUT OF PARK.

The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V313000 (Air Bags) and 16V352000 (Air Bags) however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts for the driver's side air bag was not yet available. The dealer had delayed the recall repairs on numerous occasions. Hello. I have a vehicle, VIN [XXX] that needs to be repaired. It is a limo. I took it to my local dealership and they refused to repair the recalls. I called up over 15 dealerships and they also refused to repair the recall. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that they could not help me since the dealerships are basically privately owned. I LEARNED THAT CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND WILL PAY FOR SOME CARS TO BE REPAIRED. THIS IS IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTICE L-08 FROM CHRYSLER. I WAS TOLD MY CAR FIT THE CRITERIA OF THIS NOTICE, YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ETC. EXCEPT THE NOTICE SAYS "SEVERE DUTY" FAN MODULE AND ACCORDING TO THE MAN ON THE PHONE MY CAR HAS A "HEAVY DUTY" MODULE. MY CAR DID EXACTLY WHAT THE OTHER CARS THAT WERE COVERED DID. SO BASICALLY CHRYSLER IS SAYING IT IS ACCEPTABLE FOR MY FAN TO COME APART AND SLING PIECES INTO MY RADIATOR AND NO TELLING WHAT ELSE BECAUSE MY HEMI 5.7 HAS A HEAVY DUTY PIECE ON THE FAN BUT IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE SEVERE DUTY PIECE ON THE SAME CAR TO DO IT. ON 09/23/2013 AT ABOUT 7AM I WAS DRIVING TO WORK ABOUT 20 MILES UPON ARRIVAL THE VEHICLE STARTED SMOKING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I PARKED AND INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND SOME WATER LEAKING FROM THE RADIATOR, I LET THE ENGINE COOL FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS AND AT LUNCH WENT OUT AND ADDED WATER TO THE VEHICLE AS I ADDED THE WATER IT POURED DIRECTLY OUT. I FURTHER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND FOUND THAT ALL SEVEN RADIATOR FAN BLADES HAD SEPARATED FROM THE MAIN HOUSING THAT WAS INTACT AND NOT LOOSE OR DISTORTED AND IMPELLED THEMSELVES THROUGH THE RADIATOR. I RESEARCHED THIS ISSUE AND FOUND THAT DODGE HAD A SERVICE BULLETIN CSN-L08 ISSUED IN 2011 FOR THE DODGE MAGNUM AND OTHER VEHICLES. WHEN I CONTACTED THEM THEY ADVISED I WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I DO NOT FEEL THIS IS A WARRANTY ISSUE IF IT HAS HAPPENED IN 2011 AND STILL HAPPENING IN 2013 AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FURTHER IF SOMEONE IS WORKING ON ONE OF THESE VEHICLES AND THE FAN BLADES COME APART. THIS COULD CAUSE BODILY INJURY WITH THE FORCE IT IMPELLED THEM THROUGH THE RADIATOR. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT BEGAN SOMETIME AFTER THE AIRBAG RECALL REPLACEMENT AND CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. CAR CAN BE IN MOTION DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD OR STATIONARY IN PARK OR WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE. FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON I WILL HEAR A DING DING DING, SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL LIGHTS WILL START BLINKING AND THE GAUGES GO HAY WIRE DROPPING AND JUMPING. ALL ALERTS WILL BE FLASHING (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO GAS, TRANSMISSION, BRAKE ETC.). WAITED A FEW SECONDS WHEN I NOTICED HEAVY WHITE SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. I GRABBED MY PURSE AND EXITED THE CAR. I CALLED 911 WHILE ON THE PHONE FLAMES STARTED COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE POLICE OFFICER STATED THAT DUE TO THE FAILURE AND MOMENTUM GOING DOWN THE INCLINE, THE VEHICLE MOST LIKELY STRUCK THE BRIDGE AT A RATE OF 60 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 200,000.

I PURCHASED A SET OF NEXEN ROADIAN HP 102V TIRES IN JULY 2015, SIZE 265/35/22. I RECENTLY WENT TO GET MY VEHICLE SERVICED WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED NEW TIRES AND WAS ASKED TO COME TAKE A LOOK. ALL 4 OF MY TIRES HAD CRACKED AROUND THE SHOULDER OF THE TIRES, AND THE CRACKING WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TIRE THAT I HAVE NO VISION OF. THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE NEVER KNOWN IF I HADN'T TAKEN MY VEHICLE IN TO BE SERVICED. I HAVE ONLY PUT A LITTLE OVER 20,000 MILES ON THESE TIRES AND THE TREADING IS GREAT WHICH DOESN'T SHOW ANY SIGNS OF NEGLECT. THE PLACE I PURCHASED THE TIRES FROM AGREED THAT THE TIRES ARE IN GREAT CONDITION, & THE TIRES HAD THE CORRECT PRESSURE IN THE ETC. I WAS DRIVING HOME ALONG WITH MY WIFE FROM RUNNING ERRANDS WHEN MY VEHICLE SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING AT 45MPHS PER HOUR. I CALLED AAA TO COME AND TOW MY VEHICLE. THEY DID JUST THAT AND THE SERVICE-CONTRACTED TOWING COMPANY FOR AAA DROPPED MY DODGE CHARGER RT OFF TO THE AUTO REPAIR SHOP THAT I'M ACCUSTOMED TO GOING. THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THE BATTERY WAS DRAINED HEAVILY FROM THE ENGINE PROBLEM. SO HE TOOK OUT THE OLD BATTERY I HAD AND PUT IN A NEW BATTERY. ONCE HE DID THAT HE TRIED TO GET THE DODGE CHARGER RT TO START BUT THERE WAS NO LUCK. BUT EVENTUALLY SOME ELECTRICAL POWER WAS RESTORED TO A LEVEL IN ORDER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST TO BE PERFORMED. ONCE THIS MECHANIC COMPLETED THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST HE TOLD ME THAT THE CODES HE RECEIVED ARE IDENTICAL TO THE RECALL PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2007 MODEL OF THE DODGE CHARGER RT. HE TOLD ME THAT THE 2007 MODEL FOR THIS VEHICLE HAD THE MOST RECALL PROBLEMS FOR THE ISSUE THAT I EXPERIENCED WHICH WERE ENGINE PROBLEMS. HE SAID THAT THE ENGINE PROBLEMS WERE THE SECOND MOST RECALLED ISSUE AFTER THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS FOR THIS VEHICLE. Filled fuel tank up until the pump shut off. As I drove onto the road, the engine suddenly died causing me to run off the shoulder as the power steering went out as well. I eventually got it re-started, but it ran rough and stalled out several more times on my way home. After some online research, I determined that it was probably raw gas getting pulled down the EVAP tube. I avoid the problem now by not filling the tank up all the way, but do it once in a while accidently and the problem returns. Highly dangerous situation.

SERVICE BULLETIN # 14-002-14: Fuel tank "roll over" valve failed immediately after fill-up saturating the purge solenoid and dryer canister for the fuel vapor vent reburning system. This service bulletin described failure caused liquid fuel rather than vapor to be dumped into the intake manifold stalling the vehicle in traffic in unsafe conditions. The car was towed to Beamon Dodge at 1705 S. Church St., 37130 awaiting repair. Dodge customer service was contacted at 1-800-423-6343 where they stated that this VIN was not covered by the service bulletin. Quoted repair for the manufacture defect is $4,680.48. Clearly the vehicles covered by this service bulletin are incomplete. Complaints of this failure can be found on the internet through 2014 when this service bulletin was issued on April 22, 2014. Clearly Dodge corrected nothing in their manufacturing and NHTSA is not protecting all consumers.

PROBLEM #1: ONE OF THE COOLING FAN BLADES SHEERED OFF AND & FLEW INTO THE RADIATOR. I WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP AND BROKE OFF WHEN I STARTED TO ACCELERATE. I REPLACED THE BROKEN BLADE (DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO REPLACE BOTH) AND RADIATOR. ABOUT A YEAR OR LESS LATER THE OTHER FAN BLADE SHEERED OFF (THE ONE I DIDN'T REPLACE) AND WENT INTO THE RADIATOR. THIS TIME ALSO DURING ACCELERATING AFTER A COMPLETE STOP. DEJA VU. THIS TIME I HAD TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE FAN ASSEMBLY (BECAUSE THE BLADES WERE ON BACKORDER) AND RADIATOR. WHEN I WENT TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE SAME BLADES BUT ONLY THE 2006 MODEL. PROBLEM #2: IT IS NOW LOOSING PROPULSION. THE POWER STAYS ON IT JUST STOPS MOVING FORWARD. I CAN PUT IT IN PARK & THEN BACK IN GEAR AND IT MOVES, BUT BARELY. IT ISN'T CONSISTENT BUT IT IS TERRIFYING. I HAVE GOOGLED POSSIBLE ISSUES AND IT SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY HAVE LINKED IT TO A BAD PCM. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC BUT OF COURSE IT DIDN'T DO IT WHILE HE HAD IT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD, BY DODGE, THAT THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN DO A FULL DIAGNOSTIC, THAT OTHER DEVICES ONLY COVER ABOUT 30% OF THE PROGRAM. THAT ALONE SEEMS UNFAIR IF NOT ILLEGAL. I CANNOT AFFORD $110 JUST TO FIND OUT WHAT'S WRONG. MY TRUNK LIGHT DOESN'T WORK EITHER & EVEN DODGE CAN'T FIND OUT WHY. IT'S NOT THE BULB, IT'S NOT THE FUSE, AND THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IS GOOD. I WAS DRIVING MY CAR WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN FLAMES WERE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD ON THE DRIVER SIDE. I PULLED OVER, GOT OUT AND CALLED 911. BY THE TIME THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PUT OUT THE FIRE, MY CAR WAS TOTALED. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A DEFECT SOMEWHERE UNDER THE HOOD. UPON ARRIVING FOR MY SCHEDULED OIL CHANGE AND TIRE EXCHANGE FROM SNOWS TO SUMMER, I WAS INFORMED THAT MY TIE ROD ENDS ON BOTH FRONT WHEELS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS THEY WERE NOT SAFE TO DRIVE ON. SO I INSTRUCTED THEM TO GO AHEAD AND FIX IT AS I NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND SAFETY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE WHEN YOU TRANSPORT YOUR CHILD ON A REGULAR BASIS (AS WELL AS MYSELF). I DIDN'T REALIZE AT THAT TIME THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY OR I WOULD HAVE GONE TO A DAIMLERCHRYSLER/DODGE DEALER TO GET IT FIXED. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A CAR WITH 33,000 MILES TO NEED TWO NEW TIE RODS. THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY REPAIR AS I HAD NO PREVIOUS INDICATION THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM AT ALL. LEAVING WITHOUT GETTING THE VEHICLE REPAIRED WAS NOT AN OPTION AS I AM NOT WILLING TO PUT MINE OR MY DAUGHTER'S SAFETY IN JEOPARDY AS SHE WAS WITH ME AT THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. MY VEHICLE WAS RELEASED TO ME FROM CARSTAR OF MACON WITH A KNOWINGLY INOPERABLE TPMS ON ALL FOUR OF MY TIRES. I WAS NOT TOLD THIS BEFORE I PAID AND DROVE AWAY. I GOT 5 MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD AND FELT VIOLENT SHAVING IN THE STEERING WHEEL. I TURNED AROUND AND DROVE THE VEHICLE BACK TO CARSTAR AND WAITED ABOUT 20 MINUTES FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THEY WERE AWARE THAT THE TPMS WAS INOPERABLE. THAT THEY WERE AWARE THAT ALL FOUR SENSORS WERE NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND THAT ONE HAD ACTUALLY FALLEN OUT INTO THE TIRE ITSELF AND WAS BOUNCING AROUND IN THE WHEEL WELL KNOCKING OFF THE ALIGNMENT OF THE VEHICLE. THEY GAVE ME AN OPTION OF FIXING IT OR REMOVING THE SENSORS. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD TRY TO CONTACT MY INSURENCE COMPANY TO SEE IF THEY WOULD PAY FOR THE DAMAGED PARTS THAT WERE OPERATING NORMALLY BEFORE THEY SWITCHED OUT THE NEW TIRE WHEELS. WHILE TRAVELING AT 40+ MPH I ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE BY PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ALL THE WAY, THE DODGE CHARGER RT(5.7L V8) DID NOT REACT AND KEPT ACCELERATING AT THE NORMAL RATE BEFORE I PRESSED THE ACCELERATOR. SINCE IT WAS NOT REACTING TO MY INPUT, I TOOK MY FOOT COMPLETELY OFF THE ACCELERATOR BUT THE VEHICLE KEPT ACCELERATING AT A CONSTANT RATE. THEN AFTER TWO SECONDS, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AT FULL THROTTLE, IN AUTOMATIC, DOWNSHIFTED, AND CONTINUED TO SPEED UP AT FULL THROTTLE. PLEASE REFER TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION L08 ENGINE COOLING FANS. THIS NOTIFICATION CAUTIONS OWNERS THAT THE ELECTRICALLY POWERED RADIATOR COOLING FANS ON ABOUT 52,000 OF THE REFERENCED VEHICLES (INCLUDE 2007 DODGE CHARGER) MAY SEPARATE DURING FAN OPERATION AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RADIATOR. I TOOK THE VEHICLE DOWN TO A DODGE DEALERSHIP AND FOUND OUT THAT THE PLENUM IS A COMMON FAIL PART AND IS A DEALER ONLY PART AND COST 969.00 TO REPLACE. AFTER HAVING THE REFLASH DONE ON MY VEHICLE AND FINDING OUT ABOUT THE PLENUM I RETURNED TO AAA TO FIND OUT IF THEY COULD FIX THE PROBLEM CHEAPER. THEY THEN CHECKED THE RECALL LIST TO SEE IF THEIR WERE ANY RECALLS. THE RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE WERE FOR THE CARS COMPUTER SYSTEM , THE INTERLOCK MECHANISM FOR THE CLUTCH, AND THE RADIATOR FAN. AFTER FINDING OUT ABOUT THE REFLASH BEING ON RECALL I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND WAS TOLD RECALLS ARE VIN SPECIFIC, EVEN THOUGH DISTRIBUTED BY REGULAR MECHANICS. AFTER FIXING THE ENGINE LIGHT PROBLEM AND GETTING MY CAR INSPECTED, 3 DAYS LATER THE INTERLOCK MECHANISM BROKE AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO MOVE THE CLUTCH TO PUT CAR IN GEAR. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ETC WARNING LAMP WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT HE HAD TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF IN ORDER TO RESET THE LIGHT AND FOR THE VEHICLE TO RETURN TO ITS NORMAL SPEED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER . THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I OWN A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK EVER IN MY DRIVE WAY. I WAS EXCITED WHEN THE CHALLENGER CAME OUT, MY DAUGHTER WOULD GET THE CHARGER AND MOMMA WOULD GET THE NEW CHALLENGER. I CAN SAY, THAT WONT BE HAPPENING. IN THE THREE YEARS I'VE HAD THIS CAR, I HAVE HAD TO SPEND SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION FIXED FROM LEAKING FLUID. A PART I WAS TOLD THAT WAS MANUFACTURED INCORRECTLY, BUT NO RECALL, I HAD TO PURCHASE THE FIX KIT MYSELF. WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM THIS HAPPENING, THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WENT OUT. LOOSING ALL ELECTRONICS IN THE CAR. AGAIN, NO RECALL ANOTHER $600+ OUT OF MY POCKET. NOW JUST THIS WEEK THE "PINK THINKY" HAS MESSED UP. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. WHEN DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THERE WAS A LOUD NOISE IN THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THEY COULDN'T HEAR ANY NOISE AND THAT THE BRAKE PADS WERE NOT DEFECTIVE. A SECOND DIAGNOSIS WAS OBTAINED FROM ANOTHER MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS WERE WARPED AND THE TIE RODS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AN AUTHORIZED DEALER REPLACED THE TIE RODS. THE CONTACT IS CONCERNED THAT A NEW VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED MULTIPLE FAILURES. SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED THE FAILURE HAS NOT RECURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 37,000.

I PURCHASED MY 2007 DODGE CHARGER SE ON FEB 17 2009. I HAD MULTIPLE PROBLEMS WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE INCLUDING THE AIRBAG LIGHT BEING ON WHICH THEY FIXED BY RECALIBRATING THE UNIT. THE LEFT WASHER FLUID MODULE HAD TO BE REPLACED AND THE PASSENGER HEADLIGHT HAD CONDENSATION THAT WAS POORLY REPAIRED BY PLACING SILCONE AROUND MY HEADLIGHT. THE SHOP ALSO SAID THAT THEY HAD TO RECALIBRATE THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE IT WAS SLIPPING AND WAS CAUSING MY SPEEDOMETER TO DROP TO 0 BUT THE RPM WOULD NEVER MOVE AND THE CAR WOULD NOT LOSE POWER. ON MARCH 7 I DROVE 90 MILES AWAY FROM HOME WHEN I EXITED MY VEHICLE AND GOT ABOUT 10 FEET AWAY THE CAR EXPLODED IN FLAMES. THE CAR DROVE BEAUTIFULLY THE ENTIRE TRIP NEVER HESITATED AND NEVER OVERHEATED, NEVER INDICATED ANY KIND OF PROBLEM!!!! THE ENTIRE FRONT OF MY CAR TO THE DASH WAS COMPLETELY MELTED WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF THE CAR EXPLODING. LUCKILY I DID NOT HAVE MY CHILDREN WITH ME AND I WAS NOT IN HOME AS I PARK MY NEW VEHICLE IN THE GARAGE, I WOULD HAVE LOST EVERYTHING I OWN. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAD TO BUST OUT THE REAR WINDOW TO GET MY PURSE BECAUSE THE ONLY KEY HOLE IS IN THE FRONT DOOR AND THE FOB WOULD NOT WORK TO UNLOCK THE CAR. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY HAZARD!!! IF MY 2 SMALL CHILDREN HAD BEEN IN THE CAR I WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET THEM OUT IN TIME BECAUSE OF HOW FAST THE CAR EXPLODED!!! TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE CHARGER. ON NOVEMBER 1, 2006, THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR A BASIC OIL CHANGE AND FILTER AT 3,600 MILES. ON JANUARY 2, 2007, THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR BASIC MAINTENANCE, IN WHICH THE CONTACT REQUESTED A TIRE ROTATION BECAUSE THE TIRES WERE WEARING VERY QUICKLY. HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRES WERE ROTATED, BALANCED, AND THAT THE OIL WAS CHANGED. TWO MONTHS LATER, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE TIRES CONTINUED TO WEAR VERY QUICKLY AND THE BRAKES WERE NOT STOPPING THE VEHICLE PROPERLY. HE WENT TO A LOCAL TIRE STORE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRES WERE PLACED ON THE VEHICLE INCORRECTLY AND THAT TWO DIFFERENT SIZED TIRES SHOULD HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. THE CONTACT RETURNED TO THE DEALER AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO PROVIDE NEW TIRES AND BRAKES. THEY PROVIDED THE TIRES AND NEW FRONT BRAKES, BUT NO REAR BRAKES. THE DEALER ALSO FAILED TO REPAIR A RATTLING NOISE IN THE FAN UNDER THE HOOD; HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT. CURRENTLY, THE BRAKES LOCK SOMETIMES AND THE FAN STILL MAKES A NOISE AS IF LEAVES AND STICKS ARE UNDER THE HOOD. THE CONTACT HAS A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY, BUT WAS ADVISED TO TAKE HIS VEHICLE TO ANOTHER DEALER. THE POWERTRAIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 32,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,044. CAR WAS RETURNED TO ANOTHER DEALER AND WHEELS WERE ROTATED. NO EFFECT PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. SEVERAL OTHER OWNERS HAVE SAME PROBLEMS WITH SRT/8 MODELS. REMIDIES HAVE BEEN REPLACING TIE ROD ENDS, WHEEL BEARINGS, ROAD FORCE BALANCE OF WHEELS AND REPLACEMENT OF STEERING RACK. THERE NEEDS TO BE A TSB FOR THIS PROBLEM.
