FRONT DISC BRAKE CALIBER, PISTON IS MADE OF A COMPOSITE AND NOT METAL,COMPOSITE CRACKS AND LEAKS. THE PISTON TURNS TO MUSH AND THE BRAKE PAD BECOMES LOOSE. *JB THIS CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO PULSE WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES. WAS BROUGHT BACK TO DEALER AND FINALLY REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. TWO YEARS LATER THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED, BUT THE VEHICLE IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY ANY MORE. 04/23/02 WAS THE FIRST TIME, 12/04/04 FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN

MY 2000 DODGE NEON HAS HAD TWO BRAKE FAILURES. AT APPROX 30000 MILES, MY DRIVER REAR BRAKE ASSEMBLY FAILED. AT APPROX 33000 MILES, MY PASSENGER SIDE REAR BRAKE ASSEY HAS ALSO FAILED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DODGE NEON. THE CONTACT STARTED THE VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE FAILURE PROGRESSED OVER A PERIOD OF TIME AND BECAME A PERMANENT ISSUE. IN ADDITION, THE HORN FAILED TO OPERATE DURING THE SAME TIME OF THE AIR BAG INDICATOR MALFUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED BY THE CONTACT WHO DETECTED THE CLOCK SPRING WAS FAULTY. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.

I BOUGHT THIS CAR NEW. I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO DRIVES IT AND I HAVE USED SYNTHETIC OIL THE ENTIRE TIME. I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF IT. I WAS ON THE OFF RAMP OF I-85 WHEN IT JUST STOPPED. IT WAS SMOKING AND THEN THE OIL LIGHT CAME ON. I GOT OUT OF THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS IN A DANGEROUS PLACE ON THE OFF RAMP AND OIL WAS SPILLING OUT OF THE BOTTOM. WE HAD TO GET THE CAR TOWED. THE MECHANIC SAID THAT IT HAD TWO CRACKED HEADS. IF I HAD BEEN ON THE INTERSTATE WHEN THIS HAPPENED I WOULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. I AM EXTREMELY UPSET ABOUT THIS AND I HAVE CALLED CHRYSLER AND REGISTERED A COMPLAINT BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND OUT ABOUT ALL THE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE 2.7 LITER ENGINE. CHRYSLER SAYS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS ENGINE OR THEY WOULD HAVE ISSUED A RECALL. EVERY PARTS PERSON, MECHANIC, DEALERSHIP, ETC. THAT I HAVE TALKED TO HAVE MENTIONED THE PROBLEMS WITH THIS ENGINE. IT SEEMS AS IF EVERYONE KNOWS THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT CHRYSLER. THEY ASKED IF I HAD ALL THE RECORDS FROM EVERY TIME THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE OIL CHANGED. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I WOULD THINK ABOUT KEEPING. I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING EVEN IF I HAD THE RECORDS. THEY JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE I DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROOF. THIS IS GOING TO BE VERY COSTLY TO GET FIXED AND IF I PUT THE SAME KIND OF ENGINE IN, I AM LOOKING AT THE SAME PROBLEMS. IT SEEMS AT THIS POINT THAT I MAY HAVE TO JUST TRASH THE CAR AND LOSE WHATEVER WORTH IT HAD LEFT IN IT. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER DODGE CAR BECAUSE CHRYSLER DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR MISTAKES. I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE 405 (8 LANE HIGHWAY IN LOS ANGELES) AND MY CHRYSLER INTREPID WITH 45,000 MILES ON IT BLEW UP! I HAD TO MERGE THROUGH 5 LANES OF TRAFFIC TO GET TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. I REALIZED I WASN'T IN A VERY GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD AND WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR HELP I WAS APPROACHED BY WHAT APPEARED TO BE A GANG AND THEY TOOK ALL MY MONEY AND THREW ME TO THE GROUND. AFTER ALL OF THIS I FIND OUT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO BECAUSE THE ENGINE IS BLOWN TO OIL SLUDGE! I JUST PURCHASES THE CAR 2 MONTHS AGO AND IT ONLY HAS 45,000 MILES ON IT! I HAVE BEEN DRIVING MY CAR BACK AND FORTH FROM COLLEGE AND RUNNING ERRANDS AROUND TOWN. I HAVE A COMPLETELY STOCKED 2000 DODGE NEON ES. I USE THE HEADLIGHTS MOST OF THE TIME, EVEN DURING THE DAY, TO INCREASE VISIBILITY. ONE NIGHT, I WAS DRIVING THROUGH MY TOWN. I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING BUT NOT THINKING ANYTHING OF IT SINCE I WAS NEAR A RURAL AREA THAT COULD HAVE CAMP FIRES LIT. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO. THEN I NOTICED THAT MY HEADLIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING AS THEY USED TO. THE FOG LIGHTS WOULD TURN ON SOMETIMES AND OTHER TIMES NOT. I FIGURED THAT IT WAS JUST A SWITCH AND NOT A BIG DEAL SO I DID NOTHING TO FIX IT. THEN MY HIGH BEAMS STOPPED WORKING ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO. I DID A BIT OF RESEARCH TO TRY TO DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. I STUMBLED UPON A WEBSITE AND READ ABOUT LOOKING AT THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH. SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I JUST GOT FINISHED CHECKING OUT MY CAR. THE WIRING HARNESS THAT CONNECTS TO THE MFS IS MELTED AS HAS EVIDENCE OF BURN MARKS. THE HEADLIGHTS CURRENTLY WORK BUT THE FOG LIGHTS AND HIGH BEAMS DO NOT. I HAVE TAKEN SEVERAL PICTURES OF THE MELTED HARNESS AND WILL SEND THEM TO WHOEVER I NEED TO. I HAVE READ UP ON REPLACING THE WIRING HARNESS BUT IT IS RATHER EXPENSIVE. ESPECIALLY IF IT WILL MELT AGAIN SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I BELIEVE THE PART NUMBER IS 5183442AA BASED ON SEVERAL SOURCES. I WILL BE REPLACING THIS PART PROBABLY ON MY OWN TO SAVE SOME MONEY, ESPECIALLY ON A PART I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE ORDERING IN THE FIRST PLACE. *JN

I OWNED A 2000 DODGE NEON. I LAST DROVE THE VEHICLE ON MAY 25, 2004 AND IT HAD BEEN PARKED OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT SINCE THAT TIME. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT, ON MAY 27, 2004 AT ABOUT 2:45AM MY CAR WHILE PARKED OUTSIDE MY APARTMENT CAUGHT ON FIRE. I WAS UNAWARE OF THIS AND WAS ASLEEP IN MY APARTMENT AT THAT TIME. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT, THE FIRE WAS CONFINED TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND HAD TO BE PUT OUT BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. ACCORDING TO THE INSURANCE FIRE INVESTIGATOR, THE HEAT FROM THE FIRE WAS SO INTENSE AND ENGINE AND FRONT END DAMAGE SO SEVERE THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE AN OFFICIAL CAUSE BUT SUSPECTED THE FIRE TO BE ELECTRICAL IN NATURE. OFFICIALLY ACCORDING TO MY INSURANCE, THE CAUSE IS UNKNOWN. MY INSURANCE DETERMINED MY VEHICLE TO BE A TOTAL LOSS. I HAVE NO REASON TO EXPECT ARSON OR THAT IT WAS DELIBERATELY SET FIRE. THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS ALSO DID NOT SUSPECT ARSON AND ARE NOT PURSUING FURTHER INVESTIGATION. THE CONSEQUENCE OF THIS FIRE WAS A BIG FINACIAL LOSS FOR ME(BASED ON MY ANNUAL INCOME) DUE TO THE INSURANCE REIMBURSING ONLY HALF THE ORIGINAL COST OF THE CAR. I ALSO AM THANKFUL THAT I WAS NOT OPERATING THE VEHICLE WHEN THIS HAPPENED WHICH COULD HAVE CAUSED ME SERIOUS INJURIES. I DID HAVE TWO PRIOR ACCIDENTS TO THE FRONT END OF THIS VEHICLE WITH ONE OF THE CRASHES REQUIRING THE ENGINE TO BE REMOVED AND PUT BACK IN. THIS CRASH, HOWEVER, TOOK PLACE OVER A YEAR AGO AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE NEON UP UNTIL MAY 27, 2004. AS A RESULT, I DO NOT SUSPECT THE PRIOR REPAIRS TO BE THE CAUSE OF THIS FIRE. WITH THE RECENT RECALL OF THE CHRYSLAR PT CRUISER, I THOUGHT I SHOULD REPORT THIS NEON ENGINE FIRE TO PROTECT OTHER NEON OWNER'S SAFETY.

TURNED INTO PARKING LOT WHEN CAR SUDDENLY MADE HORRIBLE BANGING-TYPE NOISE AND SUDDENLY STOPPED. BLACK SMOKE POURED OUT OF FRONT OF CAR AND CAR WOULDN'T MOVE. WHEN MECHANIC EXAMINED VEHICLE, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE FRAME HAD RUSTED THROUGH AND BROKE. THE AXLE BROKE, CONTROL ARM DROPPED AND EVERYTHING INSIDE THE FRONT OF THE CAR (I.E. ENGINE, ETC.) TOOK A FEW SECONDS TO REALIZE IT WASN'T GOING TO MOVE AND PUT MY FOUR WAYS ON. THIS WAS AT AN INTERSECTION WHERE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 45. VEHICLE FINALLY ENGAGED BUT WAS LEAKING TRANS FLUID. GOT IT HOME IN 1ST GEAR AND NOW THE CAR IS CONSTANTLY ENGAGED IN DRIVE. WHEN STARTED IN PARK THE CAR LURCHES FORWARD. THE FIRST TIME I STARTED IT AFTER GETTING IT HOME I ALMOST RAN OVER THE PERSON LOOKING UNDER THE HOOD. ODD THING IS THAT THERE IS STILL FLUID IN THE TRANS... AT ADD BUT STILL THERE AND THE LEAK HAS STOPPED. TRANS IS STILL ACTING LIKE IT DID THE DAY IT FAILED THOUGH.

THIS CONDITION THEN REQUIRED A FULL REPLACEMENT OF THE CLUTCH SYSTEM, ALTHOUGH IT WAS THE FAULTY CLUTCH CABLE WHICH CAUSED THE CONDITION. THE CABLE CONSISTENTLY FOLDED UPON ITSELF, AS I AM TOLD, AND WAS KINKING UP IN THE ENGINE. RACK & PINION WAS REPLACED 4/4/03...NORMAL NOISE SIGNALING A PROBLEM. ON 4/22/05, WHEN BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE, THE RACK & PINION FAILED AGAIN AND THIS TIME BOTH TIRES WENT DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS. IF I HAD BEEN ON THE ROAD, I MIGHT HAVE BEEN KILLED...I HAD NO STEERING AT ALL. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 DODGE NEON. WHILE DRIVING IN THE CENTER LANE AT 40 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MOVED ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT AND UNDERNEATH THE BRAKE PEDAL. THIS PREVENTED THE VEHICLE FROM ACCELERATING. THE CONTACT COULD NOT DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL BECAUSE IT WOULD PRESS DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AS WELL. SHE APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND WAS ABLE TO PULL THE VEHICLE OVER UNTIL THE SPEED COMPLETELY SLOWED DOWN AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP. THE CONTACT TIED A ROPE FROM THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL TO THE MIDDLE CONSOLE, WHICH WOULD ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO ACCELERATE WHEN THE ROPE WAS PULLED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A REPAIR SHOP AND THEY STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DUE TO A MANUFACTURER DEFECT. THE DEALER STATED THAT SHE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY REPLACED THE VEHICLE FOR FREE; HOWEVER, SHE BELIEVES A RECALL SHOULD BE ISSUED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 150,000. IT HAS BEEN TO TWO OTHER ALINEMENT SHOPS AND THEY ALL SAY THAT IT IS WITHIN SPECS BUT PULLS HARD TO THE RIGHT. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY TO FIND OUT HOW TO HAVE MY CAR FIXED AS THERE IS NO DEALERSHIP WHERE I LIVE. I LET THEM KNOW I LIVED IN KETCHIKAN, ALASKA. THE WOMAN I SPOKE WITH TOLD ME TO CONTACT THE JUNEAU DEALERSHIP AS IT WAS THE CLOSEST TO ME. I CONTACTED THE JUNEAU DEALERSHIP WHO TOLD ME THAT HE COULD SEND ME THE PARTS FROM JUNEAU AND I COULD HAVE THE LABOR DONE IN KETCHIKAN, SENDING HIM THE BILL FOR THE LABOR, WHICH I WOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR AN ALLOTTED AMOUNT OF MONEY. I AGREED, BUT HE NEEDED TO FIND OUT IF HE COULD SEND ME BOTH BALL JOINTS, AS I HAD ONE BALL JOINT REPLACED IN AUGUST OF 2004, WITHOUT BEING REIMBURSED BY DAIMLERCHRYSLER. SEVERE CORROSION CAUSED A WEAKNESS IN THE SUSPENSION CRADLE/ ENGINE CRADLE THAT RESULTED IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION CONTROL ARM TO BREAK AWAY FROM ITS MOUNTING TO THE SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER/ CRADLE. THE CONTROL ARM AND ALL ASSOCIATED COMPONENTS SEEMED TO BE IN ACCEPTABLE CONDITION AND DID NOT EXHIBIT ANY FAILURES. THE FAILURE WAS SEVERE ENOUGH THAT THE DRIVE AXLE WAS PULLED OUT OF THE TRANSMISSION. THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY UNDRIVEABLE. AS WITH A MULTITUDE OF OTHER OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE, WHENEVER THERE IS A RAIN (HEAVY OR LIGHT), WATER LEAKS INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR (MOST LIKELY THROUGH THE TRUNK, POSSIBLY AROUND THE TAILLIGHT OR ANOTHER HARD TO DIAGNOSE AREA). THE WATER WILL FILL UP THE SPARE TIRE WELL AND POOL THERE, THEN MOVE UNDER THE BACK SEATS AND THE BACK SEAT FLOORS WHERE AGAIN THE WATER POOLS AND SOAKS INTO THE LINING/CUSHIONS/INTERIOR. ALL OF THIS WATER CAUSES BOTH STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE BODY OF THE CAR (RUST AND OTHER ISSUES), PRODUCES MILDEW AND MOLD IN THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE (A POTENTIAL HEALTH HAZARD), AND CREATES HIGHLY HUMID AND MOIST ENVIRONMENT INSIDE THE CAR. THE LEAK AND WATER HAVE ALSO AFFECTED THE REVERSE/BACKUP LIGHTING (ANOTHER HAZARD) AND RUSTED PARTS OF THE SPARE TIRE WELL. IN ADDITION THE HIGH HUMIDITY RESULTS IN INTERIOR WINDOWS BEING NOT JUST FOGGED BUT HAVING A WORRISOME AMOUNT OF CONDENSATION THAT MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE DRIVING SAFELY. NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO "SEAL" THE LEAK IN THE TRUNK TO NO AVAIL. A QUICK INTERNET SEARCH FOR THIS PROBLEMS REVEALS HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE OF THE LEAK. MAKE: DODGE MODEL: NEON TYPE: PASSENGER CAR YEAR: 2000 SUMMARY: AS NOTED IN OTHER COMPLAINTS, WITH ANY HEAVY RAINFALL, THE FLOOR IN THE BACK SEATS FILLS WITH WATER (UP TO AN INCH OR MORE). APPEARS TO BE ENTERING THROUGH THE TRUNK AREA, AS THE SPARE TIRE WELL ALSO FILLS WITH WATER. USING SPONGES AND A SHOPVAC TO SOAK UP THE WATER AND THEN LEAVING WINDOWS OPEN TO DRY IT OUT IS MY ONLY REMEDY TO THE MOISTURE AND ODOR. THIS HAS BEEN OCCURRING SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN 2001. THE DEALER IS OF NO HELP BECAUSE (MERCIFULLY FOR OTHERS) THAT DEAL WENT BANKRUPT A YEAR AFTER PURCHASE. I HAVE A LITANY OF OTHER CONCERNS WITH THE 2000 NEON. I'VE HAD TO REPLACE THE ENGINE (CHRYSLER REFUSED TO HONOR WARRANTY - PARTLY A PROBLEM WITH RECORDS AS THE DEALERSHIP OF PURCHASE/INITIAL MAINTENANCE HAS GONE OUT OF BUSINESS), EACH TIME I START THE CAR, THE FUSE WARNING LIGHT COMES ON, THOUGH ALL FUSES HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND LOOK OK. AN ELECTRICAL HARNESS HAS FAILED AND AS A RESULT I HAVE NO FUNCTIONING INTERIOR DOME LIGHTS OR EXTERIOR BACKUP LIGHTS. REPEATED EFFORTS BY SEVERAL REPAIR FACILITIES TO LOCATE THE CORRECT HARNESS HAVE FAILED. THE CAR IDLES VERY HIGH AND THEN ACCELERATES TO HIGHER SPEEDS WITHOUT TOUCHING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THERE IS A HIGH ACCELERATION BOOSTS AND SPURTS WHEN FIRST ACCELERATING FROM A STOPPED POSITION, CAUSING CAR TO LUNGE FORWARD AT HIGH SPEEDS. THE CAR REFUSES TO START WHEN NOT USED DAILY, SUCH AS A PROBLEM WITH THE STARTER OR THE ALTERNATOR, BUT NO PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN FOUND WITH EITHER PARTS UPON INSPECTIONS BY A MECHANIC. FRONT AXLES POP WHEN TURNING. KEY IS HARD TO DISENGAGE OR REMOVE FROM THE IGNITION. BRAKES ARE CONSTANTLY SQUEALING AND WEAR EVERY 3-6 MONTHS REGARDLESS F HOW THE CAR IS DRIVEN. THOUGH IT MAY OR NOT BE A PROBLEM FOR SOME, THE FOLD DOWN SEATS IN THE REAR SEAT DO NOT HAVE A DISENGAGE LEVER FROM THE TRUNK. OVER-HEAD DOME LIGHT DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY AND HAS FAULTY WIRING, SO THAT EVEN THOUGH ALL DOORS ARE CLOSED THE DOME LIGHT NEVER SHUTS OFF. THERE IS CONSTANTLY A FUSE LIGHT THAT FLASHES IN MY DASH, THOUGH ALL FUSES HAVE BEEN CHECKED NUMEROUS TIMES AND ALL ARE IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER, THOUGH THEY HAVE BEEN REPLACED, THE WARNING LIGHT STILL FLASHES. THE UTILITY OUTLET/CIGARETTE LIGHTER OUTLET DOESN'T AND HAS NOT EVER WORKED SINCE THE CAR WAS BOUGHT IN 2004. FUSES HAVE BEEN REPLACED MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THE PROBLEM STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. I MYSELF INSPECTED THE OPERATION OF THE LEFT REAR DOOR AND FOUND THAT THE ACTUATOR WAS BAD. I CRACKED OPEN ACTUATOR AND FOUND THAT THE GEAR WAS STRIPPED. THIS CAUSING THE WINDING SOUND AND FAILURE TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS. THE GEAR IS MADE OF SOME KIND OF SOFT PLASTIC MATERIAL FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. ABOUT THE REAR WINDOW, I CHECKED AND FOUND POWER GOING TO THE MOTORS. BUT WITH ONE OF THE WINDOW MOTORS I TAPPED IT AND GOT IT TO WORK FOR ACOUPLE OF DAYS. WITH MY EXPERINCE AS AN AUTO/TRUCK/BUS TECHNICIAN THE MOTORS ARE DEFECTED ALONG WITH THE DOOR ACTUATORS. I HOPE THESE ISSUES CAN GET RESOLVED, BECAUSE OVERALL MY VEHICLE IS GOOD AT 60,000 MILES.

2000 DODGE NEON-I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR 5 YEARS AND USE IT SOLELY FOR COMMUTING TO AND FROM WORK. I AM A CAREFUL DRIVER AND DO NOT ABUSE THIS VEHICLE. *AK DURING THESE 5 YRS I HAVE HAD THE FOLLOWING WORK ON THIS CAR; REPLACED THE BRAKES TWICE WITHIN THE FIRST 2 YRS REPLACED THE BATTERY 3 TIMES OVER 5 YEARS REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION AT 70K REPLACED THE RADIATOR AT 70K THE CAR PERFORMS VERY POORLY IN ICE AND SNOW. I HAVE SPUN OUT ON SEVERAL MAJOR HIGHWAYS MERELY DOING LESS THAN 10 MPH IN SNOW/SLUSH. I WAS TOLD MY MECHANIC THAT IT IS THE WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION AND POOR DESIGN OF MY VEHICLE THAT THIS HAPPENS. MY TIRES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MAINTAINED/REPLACED WHEN TREAD WAS GETTING LOW. I RECENTLY PAID $400 FOR A SET OF NEW MICHELIN HARMONY TIRES HOPING THAT THE UPCOMING SNOW AND ICE SEASON MAY NOT KILL ME. CAR HAD A MUSTY/FISHY ODOR WHEN I USED THE HEATER DURING THE FIRST 2 YEARS. THIS HAS SINCE GONE. MY TRANSMISSION DIED DURING A THUNDERSTORM ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK. IT GAVE NO WARNING, ALL FLUIDS HAD JUST BEEN CHECKED THE WEEKEND BEFORE WHEN MY OIL WAS CHANGED. THIS INCIDENT RESULTED IN OVER $1900 WORTH OF REPAIR CHARGES. I HAD JUST BOUGHT OUT MY LEASE THAT VERY WEEK. THE $1900 I PAID WAS MY ENTIRE SAVINGS. THE FOLLOWING REPAIR WORK OUTSTANDS; CDPLAYER IS DEAD. IT CHEWED UP MY CDS.
