TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC YUKON. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE CLOSING THE BACK-HATCH DOOR IT CLOSED ON HER DAUGHTER'S HAND. THERE WAS NO MANUAL WAY TO REOPEN THE HATCH DOOR. THE DOOR OPERATES ELECTRONICALLY. IT TOOK 15 SECONDS FOR THE DOOR TO REOPEN. THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER WAS CURRENTLY JUST A YEAR OLD AND THE TOP LAYER OF THE SKIN WAS TORN OFF THE INFANT DAUGHTER'S KNUCKLES. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NOT IMMEDIATELY REQUIRED BUT THE CONTACT WILL MONITOR THE SITUATION AND TAKE THE DAUGHTER IN IF NECESSARY. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,000.

This dashboard is literally falling apart on a daily basis. I keep windshield coverings on the windhsield when in the sun. the design is terrible, and the plastic (if you want to call it that) is very brittle almost if it's made of some sort of plant based material. this IS a safety hazard as the pieces that are coming off are sharp, and large. There is also an airbag recall to be completed in which they will absolutely add to the damage of my dash. GM as a company is cowardly in hiding from this issue. you know this should be a recall, and is costing YOUR customers a lot of unnecessary funding to fix an issue that you absolutely are responsible for. do the right thing. WE pay your salaries.

The dash is cracked which could be very dangerous if the airbags ever deployed as chards of plastic could injure the driver and front passenger.

The contact owned a 2007 GMC Yukon. The contact stated that after his son parked the vehicle outside near the sidewalk, and turning the off the vehicle, the contact's son exited the vehicle. Approximately 5-10 minutes later, his son’s mother informed him that there was smoke coming from the front of the vehicle. The contact’s son was then informed by his mother that the vehicle was on fire. The vehicle then became engulfed in flames. The Fire Department was called to the scene and extinguished the fire. During the fire, the vehicle was destroyed and later towed away from the scene. A Fire report was filed, and the contact was informed that the fire was probably an electrical fire. The contact stated that the fire had started on the driver’s side front of the vehicle however, the cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 130,000.

TAKATA RECALL AND DEFECTIVE DASHBOARD. 2007 GMC YUKON WAS PURCHASED USED WITH OVER 100K. SHORTLY AFTER MY VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED IN 2015 THE DASHBOARD LITERALLY CAVED IN WHILE DRIVING ON A PAVED STREET. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH AND SPEAKING WITH FELLOW YUKON AND TAHOE OWNERS, I DETERMINED THE PROBLEM IS WIDESPREAD AND CONSISTENT IN TERMS OF CRACKING AREAS AND MAGNITUDE. I CALLED GMC AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CONSIDER SUBSIDIZING A PORTION OF THE REPAIR COST BUT I HAD TO GET AN ESTIMATE FROM A LOCAL GMC SERVICE CENTER. AFTER CONTACTING THE GMC SERVICE CENTER I WAS TOLD A DIAGNOSTIC FEE WOULD APPLY FOR A REPAIR QUOTE, TO WHICH I DISAGREED GIVEN THE NEED FOR AN ESTIMATE ONLY. I SPOKE ONCE MORE WITH GMC STATING I WOULD NOT PAY A DIAGNOSTIC FEE GIVEN THE NATURE OF THE REQUEST AND UNKNOWN REMEDY. AT THE PRESENT MOMENT THE AIR BAGS ARE ALSO UNDER RECALL BUT UNAVAILABLE. THE CRACKING DASHBOARD AND DEFECTIVE AIR BAGS CREATE A VOLATILE SAFETY SITUATION FOR MY FAMILY AND I. ALL THIS INFORMATION HAS BEEN SHARED WITH GMC VIA A CERTIFIED LETTER, TO WHICH THEY SENT A LETTER STATING I SHOULD CALL IF MY REQUEST HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. PERSISTENT "TICKING" LIFTER UPON START OF A COLD ENGINE. SLIGHT LOSS OF POWER UNTIL THE ENGINE FINALLY WARMS AND THE TICKING SUBSIDES. THIS PROBLEM OCCURS IN BOTH WARM AND COLD WEATHER BUT IS WORSE DURING COLD WEATHER. WHEN I ASKED THE LOCAL GM DEALER ABOUT A SOLUTION, THEY DESCRIBED A POTENTIAL REPAIR; A BAFFLE MAY BE INSTALLED IN THE OIL PAN TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM OF OIL DRAINING OUT OF THE TOP SIDE OF THE MOTOR. THIS INDICATES TO ME THAT GM HAS RECOGNIZED A DESIGN FLAW IN THIS MOTOR (THE 5.3L WITH ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT AND "FLEXFUEL" OPTION) THOUGH THE DID NOT OFFER TO PERFORM THE REPAIR FOR NO COST.

In June 2021 at approximately 168,000 miles the engine suffered catastrophic engine failure while driving. I was forced to replace the engine at my cost as it was out of the original warranty. I was told the cause of the engine failure was due to low oil pressure over an extended prior of time from worn engine bearings which resulted in a dropped value in cylinder #7 and #8.

WHILE DRIVING THE STABILITRAK OFF LIGHT FLASHED ON THE DASHBOARD, INCLUDING THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF. THIS HAS SHUT DOWN MY CAR ON THE HIGHWAY 4 TIMES. ODDLY, WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT WOULD RESET ITSELF AND THE CODES WOULD GO AWAY TEMPORARILY. THE DEALERSHIP RECOMMENDED TO CHANGE THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE AND CABLES, WHICH I DID ON 7/17/20 AND 7/31/20. HOWEVER, ON MY LAST TRIP I HAD TO GET TOWED BACK TO MY HOME ON 09/01/20 FOR THE SAME REASON AS I WAS STRANDED ON A HIGHWAY ON THE WAY TO A FUNERAL FOR A FAMILY FRIEND. THIS IS SO DANGEROUS. I CAN'T LET MY WIFE OR KIDS USE THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THIS HAPPENS SO RANDOMLY. THE REPAIR SHOP SAYS THAT IT IS A MYSTERY TO THEM AS THEY HAVE CALLED THEIR GMC SPECIALTY TECHNICIANS FOR ADVICE. MY CAR IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS AS THEY TRY TO FIND A SOLUTION. I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR 3 MONTHS AGO AND THIS IS UPSETTING. I FINALLY WENT ONLINE TO SEE IF I COULD POSSIBLE FIND A FIX TO RECOMMEND AND FOUND THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE I FOUND SIMILAR STORIES ON THIS WEBSITE "CAR FORUMS/ GMC/ GMC ENVOY XL" . I AM SURPRISED THIS NOT A RECALL. I HAVE PAID OVER $1,500 IN REPAIRS. CHANGED SENSORS ON TIRES THAT SUSPECT WEREN'T THE ISSUE SINCE THE INDICATOR LIGHT STILL COMES ON. I WORK FOR STATE FARM INSURANCE AND I AM AWARE OF THE DANGERS OF HAVING HAZARDOUS CARS ON THE ROAD. 2007 GMC YUKON. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO ISSUES WITH THE REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE REAR DEFROSTER TABS WOULD DETACH FROM THE WINDOW EVERY WINTER. THE CONSUMER WENT TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES, TO HAVE THE ISSUE FIXED. THE FIRST TIME, THEY SOLDERED THE TERMINAL BACK ON AT A COST OF $ 29.95. THE SECOND TIME IT HAPPENED THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE REAR WINDOW BECAUSE IT COULDN'T BE SOLDERED BACK ON. THE THIRD TIME, THEY REPLACED THE ENTIRE WINDOW AGAIN. THE DEALER THE SENT THE CONSUMER TO A GLASS COMPANY, WHERE THEY EPOXYED THE TABS BACK ONTO THE WINDOW. HOWEVER, WITHIN A WEEK THE TABS FELL OFF AGAIN. ANOTHER LOCAL GLASS COMPANY WAS RECOMMENDED AND THAT COMPANY RE-ATTACHED THE TABS, AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE TABS FELL OFF AGAIN.

I HAVE A VEHICLE WITH A RIDE PACKAGE CALLED PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE WITH A GM FACTORY CODE "ZW7". BOTH GM AND GM DEALERSHIPS HAVE A CATALOG ISSUE THAT RESULTED IN ME BUYING AN INCORRECT AND DANGEROUS REAR SHOCK. I HAVE WORKED FOR 6 MONTHS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND HAVE A VEHICLE DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AS THE REPLACEMENT PART REFERRED BY GM IS INCORRECT. THE OEM MANUFACTURER (SACHS) IN FRANCE HAS CONCURRED THAT GM IS AT FAULT. GM IS HAVING CONSUMERS PUT ON A FACTORY REPLACEMENT PART INCORRECT FOR VEHICLE AND WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE WITHIN GM TO RESOLVE THE MATTER. I HAVE IT WELL DOCUMENTED AND IT HAS ALSO BEEN AN ISSUED FOR YUKON OWNERS WITH THE "PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE" OPTION. SACHS IN FRANCE PROVIDED GM WITH A FACTORY SHOCK WITH "NIVOMAT" TECHNOLOGY THAT SHARED THE RIDE LOAD WITH THE REAR SPRINGS. SACHS HAS SINCE DISCONTINUED THE PRODUCT AND AS SUCH NO REPLACEMENT PART CAN BE BOUGHT. A CHANGE OF BOTH THE SPRINGS AND SHOCKS MUST BE DONE AND GM REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE REQUIREMENT OR OFFER A SOLUTION. INSTEAD THEY SEND DRIVERS DOWN THE ROAD WITH A DANGEROUS RIDE SET UP. WHEN WE DROVE OUR VEHICLE AFTER USING THE GM RECOMMENDED SHOCKS, IT RODE VERY ROUGH AND WHEN WE GOT UP TO SPEED IT ACTUALLY BOUNCED AROUND ON THE HIGHWAY AND WAS DIFFICULT TO KEEP ON THE ROAD.

I JUST PURCHASED A 2007 YUKON XL DENALI. IT IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE 2 TETHER ANCHORS IN THE THIRD PASSENGER ROW - IT ONLY HAS 1. I WAS TOLD BEFORE PURCHASING DURING MY COMPARISONS THAT IS WAS LISTED AS HAVING 2. MY OWNERS MANUAL SAID IT HAS 2 AND EVEN HAS A PICTURE OF THEIR LOCATIONS. THERE IS ONLY ONE. THE SALESMAN, WITHOUT LOOKING WHERE I WAS, PUSHED THE TOP CONSOLE BUTTON ABOVE THE FRONT SEATS WHICH CAUSED THE SEAT TO QUICKLY AND VERY HARD TO RETRACT, STRIKING THE LEFT SIDE OF MY NECK, TEMPORALLY STUNNING ME. TAKATA RECALL, CRACKS IN THE DASH THAT RUN TO THE AIR BAGS ON THE DASH. THE CENTER SPEAKER IS MOUNTED TO THE PLASTIC DASH AND MOVE WITH THE ROAD VIBRATION WHICH BREAKS THE DASH ALONG WITH THE UV RADIATION THAT WEAKENS THE PLASTIC.. THE DASH COULD SPLINTER IN A CRASH AND WOUND OR KILL A PASSENGER.

WAS DRIVING AND STABILIZATION GOT TURNED TURNED OFF. THE ENGINE POWER GOT REDUCED. DECREASING THE CAR'S POWER DRAMATICALLY THEN EVENTUALLY NOT DRIVABLE. THIS IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY. I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO MAKE A SMOOTH LANE CHANGE TO THE SIDE TO STOP THE CAR. BUT IF I COULDN'T AND THERE WAS A LOT OF CARS, THIS WOULD OF CAUSED A MASSIVE ACCIDENT. I FEEL FROM MY RESEARCH, GMC SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE AND FIX THIS! BEFORE I LEFT THE DEALER I ASKED COULD I STILL DRIVE THE VEHICLE, THEY SAID THAT I COULD. SO I CONTINUE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. ONE DAY WHILE DRIVE THE VEHICLE, IT MOVED FORWARD WHILE MY FOOT WAS ON THE BRAKE AND SHUT OFF. I TRIED TO IMMEDIATELY START IT CAUSE I WAS BEHIND ANOTHER CAR AT A LIGHT. I OWN A 2007 GM YUKON XL. IN OR ABOUT MAY-JUNE OF 2009 THE CAR BEGAN RUNNING BADLY AND SMELLED OF GAS. I RETURNED IT TO THE DEALER (SUN PONTIAC GMC OF WANTAGH, NY) AND THEY SAID THEY CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND TIME AGAIN WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT APPEARING AND ONSTAR CALLS TO SEE IF I WAS OKAY. MANY REPORTS FROM ONSTAR ALSO CONFIRM THIS. AFTER MANY TRIPS TO SUN PONTIAC THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAD REFUSED TO ISSUE ME A REPAIR ORDER BECAUSE YUKONS WERE HAVING EXPLOSIVE CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY MINE. I CALLED GM AND THEY SAID THEY NEVER HAD ANY SUCH PROBLEM AND REFERRED ME TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WHERE THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED AGAIN. I WAS ORDERED NOT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND HAVE IT TOWED FROM MY HOME BECAUSE OF THE SAME EXPLOSIVE CONDITION. SINCE JUNE 2009 I HAVE HAD OVER 300 PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH GM. I PERSONALLY WITNESSED THE ENTIRE REAR END UNDERCARRIAGE OF MY VEHICLE IN PIECES. I HAVE READ AND BEEN TOLD THAT IT WAS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT THAT EVEN AFTER THEY REPLACED HARNESSES, GAS TANKS, TUBES, GAS LINES ETC. IT COULD NOT BE FIXED. THE LAST WORDS OUT OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT SUN WAS THAT " I WOULDN'T DRIVE THAT CAR IF I WERE YOU BECAUSE IT MIGHT BLOW UP". I KNEW THAT GM WOULD NEVER ADMIT TO ANY OF THIS SO I TAPED MOST OF MY CONVERSATIONS WITH ALL OF THEIR HEAD OFFICIALS AND STORED NUMEROUS COPIES WITH TWO SEPARATE ATTORNEY'S, MY FAMILY AND ONE COUSIN WHO WORKS FOR THE MEDIA IN CASE ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN. IT WAS ADMITTED TO ME A GM THAT THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME AND IT WOULDN'T BE THE LAST. PASSENGER SIDE BRAKE ROTOR OUTER HAS PERFECT SURFACE BUT BRAKE PAD LOOKED BRAND NEW... NO WEAR ON IT AND IS JAMMED IN THE CARRIER. PASSENGER SIDE BRAKE ROTOR INNER SURFACE HAS PARTIAL CONTACT WITH BRAKE PAD... HEAVY THICK RUSTY RIDGE FORMED AND BRAKE PAD SHOWED RIDGE IMPRESSION ON IT. CUSTOMER SAID THE BRAKE WAS DONE BY DEALER TWO YEARS AGO. THE MAIN CULPRIT IS THE BRAKE PADS ARE JAMMED IN THE CARRIER BECAUSE THE BRAKE PAD BACKING PLATE IS TOO LONG TO INSERT OR TO MOVE FREELY. THERE IS SOME KIND OF DESIGN FLAW/SPECIFICATION PROBLEM. THE DRIVER SIDE REQUIRED MUCH MORE SHORTENING OF THE NEW BRAKE PAD BACKING PLATE THAN THE PASSENGER SIDE. BRAKE PAD TAB WIDTH WAS PERFECT AND MOVES EASILY WITH NO PLAY. IT IS ONLY THE LENGTH OF THE BRAKE PAD TABS ARE THE ISSUES. I AM NOT SURE IF THE BRAKE PAD/CALIPER CARRIER IS AT FAULT... POSSIBILITY OF BENDING OR TWISTING THAT MAY CAUSE THE ISSUE OF BRAKE PAD BEING JAMMED, OR TOO LONG TO INSERT. IT IS SUCH A STRONG METAL THAT THERE IS NO WAY ANY HUMAN CAN PHYSICALLY BEND IT NOR SIMPLY DROPPING IT. IT WOULD TAKE A SEVERE FORCE TO ACTUALLY BEND THE CARRIER SUCH AS THE VEHICLE ITSELF UNDER REPEATED BRAKING. I THINK THIS IS THE MOST PLAUSIBLE REASON FOR THIS SITUATION. NEW BRAKE PADS HAS SAME PROBLEM... THE LENGTH OF THE BACKING PLATE TABS ARE TOO LONG TO INSERT INTO CARRIER ON DRIVER SIDE AND THEY DO FIT TOO TIGHT IN PASSENGER SIDE CARRIER. WE HAD TO SHORTEN THE BRAKE PAD TABS TO ALLOW THE PADS TO MOVE SMOOTHLY IN THE CARRIER.

MY WIFE AND I HAD JUST PURCHASED A USED 2007 GMC YUKON. LITTLE DID WE KNOW ABOUT THE MAJOR ISSUE THE TRUCK HAS WITH THE REDUCED POWER READING THAT COMES UP. I REALLY THINK THAT GMC NEEDS TO PUT OUT A RECALL FOR THESE ISSUES. THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE, AT NO PARTICULAR SPEED. I WILL BE DRIVING AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE STABILITRAK LIGHTS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON, AND THE ENGINE BEGINS TO RUN VERY HARD AND WILL NOT ACCELERATE VERY QUICKLY AND CANNOT REACH FULL CAPACITY. THIS IS SOMEWHAT SCARY AS IT HAS HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY SEVERAL TIMES, AS WELL AS JUST DRIVING AROUND MY RESIDENTIAL AREA, ALWAYS WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR. Travelling on an FM road, going 55 when Yukon began accelerating on its own, even when I took foot off the accelerator. tapped brakes, thinking cruise control had engaged. Vehicle swerved violently. Speed kept increasing. Saw I was traveling 75mph! Braked hard! Felt as if acceleration was fighting against the brakes. Then spun out in the middle of the highway, spinning around 1 1/2 times while fully braking. Finally I slowed enough to throw it into park, regardless of what it might do to my transmission, I had to stop the vehicle. I came to rest straddling the lane I had been in and the oncoming lane, facing the direction from which I came. Traffic behind me had seen my struggles in time to stop back far enough that they weren’t endangered and there was no oncoming traffic at that moment. The fuel propulsion system (throttle?) seems to be at fault. There was no warning on the dash about any issue prior to this. The issue was real, a danger to myself and others. A mechanic examined the vehicle and discovered accumulation of debris on top of connector under the hood. He believed just enough water caused the conductivity needed to trigger the acceleration. State that these vehicles allow more intrusion from wheel well area than most. He thoroughly cleaned all connectors and no further issues have happened (yet!) ON 10/08/2020 I WAS DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AT 5 PM WHEN THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND THE DASH STARTED FLASHING FIRST IT WAS TURNING OFF THE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM AND THE NEXT MESSAGE WAS GOING INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER MODE. AT THAT POINT, THE VEHICLE DROPPED TO ABOUT 30 MPH WITH FULL THROTTLE AND I HAD TO MANEUVER THRU TRAFFIC TO GET OFF THE FREEWAY. NOT EASY TO DO WITH A CAR THAT WILL ONLY DO 30 MPH OR SO. WITH CAUTION LIGHTS BLINKING AND WAVING AT CARS I NEARLY GOT REAR-ENDED TWICE BEFORE I COULD GET OFF THE FREEWAY.

The side air bags on the passenger and driver side front and back deployed while driving down the road. The driver side airbag hit my 19 year old son in the side of the face hard enough to cause his ears to ring. There was not a reason for the air bags to go off spontaneously. He had to pull to the side of the road blindly because he didn’t know if he had been hit by another vehicle. We have filed a complaint with GMC. This could have caused a serious wreck injuring my son or someone else on the road due to the shock and force of the air bags hitting him and the inability to see after they deployed. Yes it is available for inspection.

WARNING BELLS START CHIMING, 5.3 ENGINE WITH AFM STARTS RUNNING ROUGH, SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL, SERVICE SUSPENSION SYSTEM,ABS LIGHTS COME ON. THESE SYMTOMS OCCUR WITHIN SECONDS OF STARTING. DIAGNOSTICS SAYS DIFFERENT THINGS EACH TIME SUCH AS MISFIRES, WORN CAM, ETC. THE ENGINE ONLY HAS 140K MILES. THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THIS ENGINE. GM DID OFFER NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS REPLACEMENT ENGINES UNDER 150K MILES. I CAN'T GET THE DEALER TO OWN UP TO THIS.

I HAVE HAD MY VEHICLE FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS NOW. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT UP UNTIL JULY OF LAST YEAR (2014). I EXPERIENCED MY CAR JERKING ERRATICALLY AND HAD TO PULL OVER. THE CAR LOST SPEED AND COULD NOT ACCELERATE. I HAD TAKEN IT TO A MECHANIC WHO THEN SAID I NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. I HAVE HAD THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED. ABOUT 6 MONTHS LATER THE JERKING STARTED AGAIN ON AND OFF, NO LOSS OF SPEED AND IT WOULD ONLY JERK GOING FORM FIRST GEAR TO SECOND. I HAVE NOT WORRIED ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW BECAUSE THE CAR WOULD ONLY JERK EVERY SO OFTEN. NOW MY TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILIZER SERVICE WARNING MESSAGE POPS UP. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO SEVERAL PLACES I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I NEEDED A THROTTLE BODY, ABS MODULE AND BOTH ARE NOT CHEAP TO FIX THEY ALL WANT TO CHARGE ME $500- $1200 TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I BEGAN RESEARCHING AND SEE THAT THE ISSUE I AM HAVING MAY BE DUE TO A MANUFACTURING ISSUE. I PLAN TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER MECHANIC BEFORE I START PAYING FOR MORE COSTLY REPAIRS. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED RADIO CONTROLS ON SOME 2007 GMC YUKON DENALI TRUCKS WITH THE SIX DISC CD CHANGER. ONE OF THESE CONTROLS IS SUPPOSE TO ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE THE DISC THAT IS PLAYING TO ANOTHER ONE OF THE SIX THAT YOU HAVE LOADED INTO THE CHANGER. ON SOME OF THESE TRUCKS THE WRONG WIRING HARNESS WAS INSTALLED WHEN THE TRUCK WAS BUILT ALONG WITH THE WRONG SOFTWARE BEING LOADED INTO THE ELECTRONIC MODULE. THIS PREVENTS THIS CONTROL FROM FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY. INSTEAD OF CHANGING THE DISC THAT IS PLAYING, IT SIMPLE GOES TO THE NEXT SONG ON THAT SAME CD. THERE IS ALREADY A CONTROL ON THE STEERING COLUMN TO DO THIS. WHEN I BROUGHT THIS TO THE ATTENTION OF THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP HE SAID AT FIRST THAT THE STEERING WHEEL CONTROL MODULE WAS BAD AND THEN THAT THE RADIO WAS DEFECTIVE. BOTH ITEMS WERE REPLACED AND THE PROBLEM REMAINS. HE THEN CHECKED SOME OF THE OTHER YUKON DENALIS THAT HE HAD IN STOCK AND TOLD ME THAT ON SOME OF THESE CARS THE CONTROLS WORKED PROPERLY AND ON SOME THEY DID NOT. HE THEN TOLD ME ABOUT THE WIRING HARNESS AND SOFTWARE PROBLEM. GM'S POSITION IS THAT THESE CARS ARE BUILT PROPERLY AND THEY REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. PAGE 336 OF THE OWNERS MANUAL CLEARLY SAYS THAT THIS BUTTON SHOULD CHANGE THE DISC THAT IS PLAYING. I CONSIDER THIS TO BE A SAFETY PROBLEM BECAUSE NOW WHEN YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE DISC YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD AND LOOK DOWN TO THE MIDDLE OF THE DASHBOARD AND LOCATE A SMALL 1/4" BY 1/2" BUTTON AND PUSH IT. THIS CAN CAUSE YOU TO DRIFT OUT OF YOUR LANE OF TRAVEL, ESPECIALLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS, AFTER ALL, IS A PRIMARY PURPOSE OF STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS FOR RADIOS-YOU CAN KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD. MOST OF THE TIME DURING DAYTIME/SUNNY CONDITIONS YOU CAN NOT JUST GLANCE AT THE INSTRUMENTS TO READ THEM. THE TOP LEFT (OIL PRESSURE) AND TOP RIGHT (VOLTMETER) GAUGES ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO READ. THE BOTTOM RIGHT (COOLANT TEMP) IS VERY DIFFICULT TO READ. THE BOTTOM LEFT (FUEL) IS DIFFICULT TO VERY DIFFICULT TO READ. THE TWO LARGE CENTER GAUGES (TACHOMETER AND SPEEDOMETER) ARE DIFFICULT TO READ. THE TIME / ATTENTION REQUIRED TO READ THESE GAUGES PRESENTS A SAFETY HAZARD BECAUSE YOU ARE FORCED TO TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE ROAD FOR FAR TO LONG (OR TO KEEP REPEATING LOOKS TO CHECK YOUR SPEED / FUEL STATUS. Thr lifters shut down the engine and caused it to completely turn off the vehicle while in motion. It is available for inspection. Has not been confirmed by dealer. The code read cylinder 1 misfire but the lifters were not functional. The seizure of the engine and full stop of the vehicle while in motion nearly caused a 3 car pile up and a close collision into a fire hydrant as the steering locked and emergency brakes were not functional. There was no other warning lamps or messages offered prior to the shut down.

WHILE I WAS DRIVING THE STABILITRAK OFF LIGHT FLASHED ON THE DASHBOARD, INCLUDING THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF. THIS HAS SHUT DOWN MY CAR ON THE HIGHWAY SEVERAL TIMES SINCE 2016. FINALLY, I WENT ONLINE AND STARTED A FORUM TO SEE IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THESE ISSUES THAT NO ONE CAN SEEM TO FIX. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE SEVERAL SIMILAR STORIES 'CAR FORUMS/ GMC/ GMC ENVOY XL". HAPPENED TWO TIMES YESTERDAY. 2007 YUKON DENALI ODOMETER: 191,707 ENGINE HOURS: 1443.9 FIRST, STABILITRAK CONTROL TURNED OFF AND ENGINE POWER WAS REDUCED ILLUMINATED ON THE MESSAGE CENTER OF THE DASH BOARD. CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE ABOVE 20 MPH. WHEN I WOULD TRY TO PUSH THE GAS PETAL THERE WOULD BE A SHUTTER IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. I WAS ABLE TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK, TURN IT OFF AND TRIED RESTARTING. SAME ISSUES CONTINUED. I LIMPED TO MY WORK A LESS THAN A MILE AWAY TO TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING AS I HAD MYSELF AND 4 KIDS IN THE CAR AFTER TRICK OR TREATING. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURES OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED, I WAS VISITING ORLANDO FLORIDA. I TOOK THE SUV TO A DEALER, AND THEY SAID THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE ECM AND REPROGRAMMED IT. I LEFT BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR ATLANTA. NEARLY 80 MILES AWAY IN OCALA FLORIDA, IT STARTED DOING THIS AGAIN. I CALLED A TOW TRUCK, AND HAD IT TAKEN TO AN OCALA DEALERSHIP. THEY IN TURN TOLD ME IT WAS A BAD ECM, AND AFTER SPENDING AN ENTIRE DAY IN OCALA, I WAS BACK ON MY WAY TO ATLANTA. SEVERAL MONTHS LATER, I HAD THIS OCCUR AGAIN. ONCE AGAIN I HAD IT TAKEN TO A DEALERSHIP IN ATLANTA. THEY RAN A COMPUTER DIAGNOSIS ON IT, AND SAID THEY HAD NO IDEA WHY IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS AN ECM PROBLEM, AS THE CODE COMING UP WAS DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH THE SENSOR IN THE FLOOR BOARD THAT READS THE DISTANCEOF THE GAS PEDAL FROM THE FLOOR BOARD. AS IT IS A DRIVE BY SENSOR VS DRIVE BY WIRE. THEY REPAIRED THIS, AND ALTHOUGH I FELT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, EVEN THOUGH I WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AT THE TIME, THE FIRST TWO INCIDENTS THAT WERE SUPPOSEDLY DIAGNOSED WRONG WERE DONE SO WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. THEY ENDED UP CUTTING THE COSTS IN HALF. I HAD NO CHOICE, AS I NEEDED MY VEHICLE BACK. NOW IT HAS OCCURRED THE FORTH TIME. I HAVE RESORTED TO THE INTERNET TO SEE IF OTHER ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WHAT I'M FINDING THROUGH THIS RESEARCH, IT SOUNDS AS IF MANY HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE, AND IT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE THROTTLE BODY. I WAS TRAVELING ON THE FREEWAY AT ABOUT 70 MPH COMING FROM A SUPERVISION TRAINING CLASS ALONG WITH A CO-WORKER AND THE FOLLOWING SENSOR LIGHTS STARTED APPEARING ON MY DASHBOARD: TRACTION CONTROL OFF, STABILITRAK OFF. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL GMC DEALERSHIP LOCATED IN ITHACA, (MAQUIRE CHEVY-CADILLAC) NEAR ITHACA MALL. THE VEHICLE ENGINE SOUND LIKE IF SOMEONE WAS HITTING THE ENGINE WITH A HARD OBJECT, ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD COME ON. THE SERVICE TECH TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD FIX THE PROBLEM,LATER THAT NIGHT I PICKED UP THE VEHICLE AND DROVE LESS THAN A MILE FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND THE SAME NOISE CAME BACK ON. DROVE BACK AND COMPLAIN OF THE PROBLEM THAT BEING FIX AND WAS GIVEN A RENTAL CAR. THE NEXT DAY I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE REP. THAT A LIFTER HAD WENT ON THE ENGINE AND IT WOULD COST APPROX. 1,600.00 TO FIX THAT PROBLEM BUT WHEN NOT GUARANTEE ANY OTHER PROBLEMS. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A OUTSIDE MECHANIC WHO ADVISED ME THAT IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO PUT A NEW ENGINE IN IT. THE SERVICE MANAGER LOOKED UP HIS SCREEN AND ADVISED ME THAT THE VEHICLE HAD NO RECALLS ON IT. I PAID $4,774.84 FOR A NEW ENGINE, BUT GMC DID NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT. ALL I WANT FOR LABOR IS $600.00 AND 203.00 FOR THE RENTAL CAR. I HAVE RECEIPTS TO SHOW WHAT WAS PAID AND THE BREAK OF WHAT NEEDED TO DONE TO ENGINE. MY WIFE'S 2007 YUKON XL HAD A MESSAGE THAT STATED THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL WAS OFF AND A REDUCTION IN POWER MESSAGE WHILE TRAVELING ON THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAY GOING 65 MILES AN HOUR DURING RUSH HOUR. WHEN THIS MESSAGE CAME ON THE YUKON CAME TO A VERY DANGEROUS REDUCTION IN SPEED AND WAS VERY CLOSE TO GETTING REARENDED BY THE VEHICLES BEHIND HER. SHE WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE ENGINE AND THE MESSAGE RESET BUT CAME BACK ON SOON AFTER SHE GOT BACK UP TO SPEED AND THE TRUCK SHUT DOWN AGAIN. I HAVE SINCE REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY AND CHECKED ALL GROUND STRAPS REPLACED THE BATTERY AND HAVE CHECKED THE HARNESS. ON JULY 26, 2013 I WAS IN MY 2007 GMC YUKON DENALI WHEN I HAD AN ISSUE. I WAS IN MY CAR, THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING BUT IT WAS IN PARK. I WAS IDLING FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES WHEN I RECEIVED A "ENGINE POWER REDUCED", FOLLOWED BY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I IMMEDIATELY SHUT THE CAR OFF AND GAVE IT ABOUT 20 MINUTES BEFORE I TURNED THE CAR BACK ON AGAIN. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON WITH THE "ENGINE POWER REDUCED", FOLLOWED BY "SERVICE STABILITRAC", "STABILITRAC OFF", SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL", "TRACTION CONTROL OFF", AND "POWER ASSIST OFF". I IMMEDIATELY CALLED THE LOCAL GMC DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME TO TRY TO BRING THE CAR INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD DO. THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING AND RECALLED AND THAT WAS FIXED BY GM. THE BRAKE LIGHTS SOMETIMES OVER HEAT AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE SADDLES ON THEM. LAST NOVEMBER THE DRIVE SHAFT FELL OFF AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND HAD TO PICK IT UP OFF OF THE INTERSTATE WHICH SOMEONE COULD HAVE GOTTEN HURT. BRAKE ISSUES. I NOTICED AN APPROXIMATE 4'' CRACK ON MY DASH BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND STEERING WHEEL HUMP. I THEN NOTICED A SIMILAR CRACK EMERGING NEAR THE TOP LEFT PORTION OF THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG. I THOUGHT MAYBE THE EMPLOYEES WHERE I GET MY CAR WASH WERE APPLYING TOO MUCH PRESSURE. HOWEVER, AFTER LOOKING ONLINE TO BUY A NEW DASH, I FOUND THAT I WAS AMONG MANY GMC OWNERS THAT HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. REPLACED THROTTLE BODY. AT 67K WON'T ENGAGE IN REVERSE AND MAKES CLUNKING SOUND FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. REPLACED REVERSE HOUSING, REACTION SHELL, ETC. AT 75K HAD A REACTION CARRIER FAILURE, LOST POWER BRAKES AND LOST POWER TO THE CAR. ALMOST WAS REAR ENDED. HAD TO STOP IN MIDDLE OF PARKING LOT DURING CHRISTMAS RUSH. WAITED 5 MIN AND RESTARTED. ENGINE LIGHT STAYED ON, BUT WAS ABLE TO GET TO DEALERSHIP. WAS TOLD THAT THROTTLE BODY NEEDS TO BE CLEANED EVERY 15K MILES UNDER SERVICE MAINTENANCE. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS! NOT REALLY SURE WHY IT HAD TO BE CLEANED, THOUGH, JUST HAD THE THROTTLE BODY REPLACED 13K MILES AGO. IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE MAJOR FLAWS IN THE DESIGN OF THE ENGINE. OBVIOUSLY, THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN PUTTING BAND AIDS ON MY PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX. I HAVE BEEN VERY LUCKY THAT MY FAMILY AND CHILDREN HAVE NOT BEEN IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT DUE TO THE MAJOR FLAWS IN THE ENGINE DESIGNS. I WENT TO THE MALL YESTERDAY AND MY CAR STARED SHAKING THE MALL IS 4 MILES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC YUKON. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH THE CONTACT NOTICED THE DRIVERS SIDE TIRE HAD BLOWN OUT. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE TIRE WITH THE SPARE AND DROVE THE VEHICLE TO A TIRE SHOP. THE MECHANIC STATED THE ELECTROLYSIS INSIDE OF THE WHEEL CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE TIRE. THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE ALSO BLEW OUT AND WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THIS WAS KNOWN PROBLEM BUT DID NOT OFFER ASSISTANCE. THE CONTACT HAD THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE FRONT WHEEL RECONDITIONED. THE MECHANIC ADVISED THE FAILURE WOULD OCCUR AGAIN BECAUSE THE WHEEL WAS DEFECTIVE. THE DRIVERS SIDE TIRE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.

2007 YUKON GOES INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER ON A REGULAR BASIS. AS A RESULT, THERE WAS A CRASH ON ONE PARTICULAR INCIDENT. ON A DAILY BASIS, IT CONTINUES TO AND THE ENGINE CUTS OUT AS A RESULT AS WELL, NO RHYME OR REASON. ON THE INTERSTATE, GOING 70 MILES AN HOUR THE VEHICLE CUT OFF, WENT INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER AND MYSELF AND MY FAMILY WERE JUST SECONDS SHORT FROM LOSING OUR LIVES. THIS HAS ALL BEEN REPORTED TO GM AND WE'VE GOTTEN NO RESOLUTION. MOTHERBOARDS, GAS PEDALS, GAS CAPS, WIRES, EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF HAS BEEN REPLACED ON MY VEHICLE AND IT STILL GOES INTO REDUCED ENGINE POWER PUTTING MY FAMILIES LIVES AT RISK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED OR ATTEMPTING A TURN , THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE STABILITY OFF TRACTION LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING DIAGNOSIS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 33,450 AND THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

FIRST, THE BATTERY DIES IF THE RADIO IS TURNED ON FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES WITH THE ENGINE OFF. THE CAR NEEDED A JUMP-START. THIS HAPPENED THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. SECOND, THERE IS A DELAY WHEN TRYING TO START THE CAR. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BATTERY STATING "THE BATTERY WAS DEFECTIVE." LESS THAN A YEAR LATER, SAME THING STARTS AGAIN. SO I TAKE IT TO THE DEALER FOR AN INSPECTION AGAIN. IRONICALLY, THIS TIME THE BATTERY ACTUALLY DIED AT THE DEALERSHIP. AFTER A FEW HOURS, THE DEALER STATES THAT THE BATTERY IS "DEFECTIVE" AGAIN!! AND NOW THEY'RE TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY FOR THE OLD DEFECTIVE BATTERY THAT THEY REPLACED. MY 2007 YUKON DENALI XL WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW AND WENT THROUGH THREE NEW BATTERIES. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 30,000 MILES ON IT. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF MY WIFE AND THREE KIDS ARE STRANDED AGAIN??? THIS IS NOT A BATTERY PROBLEM. I PURCHASED A 2007 YUKON AND SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE HAD THE REAR AXLE BEARING REPLACED 2 TIMES AT 43K MILES AND AGAIN AT 93K DUE TO A HUMMING NOISE EXTREMELY LOUD. AGAIN THE NOISE RECURRED AT 123K MILES I RETURNED TO DEALER THEY REFUSED TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED AT 100K. I MENTIONED THAT THE NOISE RETURNED FOR THE 3RD TIME. II CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND A FEW DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY W MY DAUGHTER THE CAR LOCKED ( DIFFERENTIAL). THE DIFFERENTIAL GEARS BROKE..I HAD IT TOWED BACK TO THE LAST DEALER THAT REPAIRED VEHICLE AND THEY MENTIONED IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY ( WHICH IS WHY THEY COULDN'T INSPECT IT UNLESS I PAID). I THEN TOOK IT TO MY HOME DEALER WHERE CAR WAS PURCHASED AND THEY DISCOVERED AN INTACT SCREW WHEN THEY REMOVED THE COVER FROM DIFFERENTIAL. MECHANIC NOTED THAT THE PREVIOUS DEALER THAT WORKED ON VEHICLE MIGHT HAVE NOT TIGHTENED BOLT CORRECTLY SINCE BOLT HAD NO DAMAGE OF THREADS AND WAS INTACT. I THEN CALLED GM CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY REFUSED TO CORRECT PROBLEM. SERVICE DIRECTOR DID MENTION THAT AXLES COULD HAVE SHOT OUT AND CAUSED FATAL CRASH KEEP IN MIND MY DAUGHTER OF AGE 6 WAS IN THE CAR.DEALER (HOME DEALER) STILL HAS VEHICLE AND DEALER THAT LAST REPAIRED REFUSES TO CORRECT PROBLEM. TRAVELING AT NIGHT, AT 65 MILES AN HOUR IN A 2007 YUKON SLE2 4 DR WAGON, I HIT A STEER (APPROXIMATELY 880LBS). UPON IMPACT, THE BOTTOM OF MY POWER DRIVER'S SEAT MOVED FORWARD AND THE BACK OF THE SEAT TILTED FORWARD, CAUSING ME TO HIT THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAD TO MOVE THE SEAT BACK TO GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO THE DEALER, AND MY INSURANCE AGENT BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING. THE VEHICLE HAD OVER $11,000.00 WORTH OF DAMAGE, BUT THE REPAIR CENTER STATED THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND ANY DAMAGE TO THE SEAT. I TRADED THE VEHICLE IN, AS I DID NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING IT WITH THE SEAT NOT BEING REPLACED OR REPAIRED. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC YUKON. WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS OR LOWER, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS VERY HARD. THERE IS ALSO A HARSH POUNDING SOUND COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION. ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED. THE DEALER CHANGED THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. WHILE DRIVING, THE CONTACT CANNOT TELL WHEN THE GEAR IS IN NEUTRAL. THE SPEEDOMETER DISPLAYS INACCURATE SPEEDS AND THE AIR BAG LIGHT ILLUMINATES. THE PLASTIC ON THE WINDOW FELL OFF AND THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR HANDLE STICKS WHEN IT IS PULLED, AND WILL NOT GO BACK IN. THE CONTACT HEARS A RUBBING SOUND COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER HAS BEEN REPLACED AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD REMAIN ILLUMINATED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 29,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,229. I ACCELERATED ONTO THE FREEWAY TO CATCH UP WITH ON COMING TRAFFIC ON MY 2007 GMC YUKON. WHEN I HIT TOP SPEED IN THE 3RD LANE NOT EVEN A QUARTER OF A MILE AT 65-70MPH, THE ACCELERATOR GOT STUCK MAKING MY VEHICLE TRAVEL AT 80-90MPH ON ITS OWN. I STEPPED ON THE BRAKE BUT MY VEHICLE WAS STILL ACCELERATING. I THEN PUT THE CAR INTO NEUTRAL AND TOOK THE NEXT CLOSEST EXIT. I WAS BLOCKING THE EXIT WITH ON COMING TRAFFIC BEHIND ME AND LUCKILY A FEW GOOD SAMARITANS HELP ME PUSH MY VEHICLE TO SAFETY. I USED ONSTAR TO GET MY CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP, THUS BEING A SUNDAY, ALL SERVICE DEPARTMENTS WERE CLOSED. MONDAY MORNING 8/20/07 I NOTIFIED THE DEALER ABOUT THE ACCIDENT AND IT WASN'T UNTIL 8/21/07 TUESDAY I RECEIVED MY VEHICLE BACK. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE COMPUTER AND AM VERY UPSET THAT I WAS NOT NOTIFIED BY MAIL OR BY PHONE CALL BY GMC. ALSO, THE PILLARS ON THE DRIVER SIDE CREATED BLIND SPOTS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE. DT*: THE CONTACT STATED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE DVD ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. THE CONTACT HAD TO USE THE REMOTE CONTROL IN ORDER TO TURN THE DVD SCREEN ON AND OFF BECAUSE THE SCREEN DOES NOT HAVE A POWER BUTTON.
