Continuous problem with brakes squealing very loud. Have had brake pads replaced and taken to dealership multiple times to no resolution. It is a huge problem with how loud it is not to mention unsafe and making me feel uneasy about them giving out at any time. This is ongoing from several years ago

BRAKES SCREECH LOUDLY WHEN IN REVERSE CAUSING NOISE DISTURBANCE AND CONCERN ABOUT POSSIBLE SAFETY ISSUE. THIS HAS BEEN AN ON-GOING PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND IS GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORSE. APPARENTLY, THIS DEFECT WITH BRAKES IS WELL KNOWN TO MERCEDES-BENZ BUT THEY HAVE NOT ISSUED A PROPER FIX OR RECALL FOR THE PROBLEM. VEHICLE PURCHASED PRE-OWNED FROM MERCEDES-BENZ DEALERSHIP IN WALNUT CREEK IN 2018.

PURCHASED THE CAR NEW FROM DEALER IN MARCH 2016. BRAKES SQUEAL IN REVERSE WHEN THERE'S COLD WEATHER. THE DEALER HAS REPLACED BREAK PADS AND ROTORS 3 TIMES BUT STILL THE SAME ISSUE; I'VE BROUGHT IT IN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM OVER 4 TIMES. THE LATEST 'FIX' WAS JANUARY 2018.

I BOUGHT A NEW 2016 MODEL (FEB. 2016), AROUND NOV 2016, THE ROTORS STARTED MAKING SQUEAKING NOISE WHEN BACKING UP, SO I TOOK TO DEALER TO DIAGNOSE. AT FIRST, THEY COULDN'T FIND THE ISSUE BUT AFTER READING ON THE MERC FORUM, I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO DEALER (JAN. 2017), ASKED TO CHECK THE ROTORS (NOT JUST THE BREAKS), FOUND THE ISSUE AND I PAID FOR THIS REPAIR. FAST FORWARD, JAN 2018, BROUGHT THE CAR BACK BECAUSE THE SAME SQUEAKING SOUND CAME BACK. I CALLED MERC CUSTOMER SERVICE, S/W "IRENE", AND SHE SAID THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND SHE WILL WORK WITH DEALER TO SEE IF THEY CAN FIX W/O FEE. SO LONG STORY SHORT, NEITHER THE DEALER NOR MERC ARE WILLING TO ADMIT THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND WON'T PAY FOR THE REPAIR. THEY ARE WILLING TO GIVE ME "15%" DISCOUNTS. SO, I AM WRITING TO ASK FOR YOUR HELP, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF OTHER OWNERS HAVE SAME ISSUE, SHOULD THIS BE AN OVERALL RECALL?

I PURCHASED THIS SUV MARCH 2016. A FEW WEEKS AFTER DELIVERY THE BRAKES STARTED MAKING SQUEAKING SOUND WHEN I BACKED OUT MY GARAGE IN THE MORNING. OVER THE PAST 18 MONTHS I HAVE TAKEN TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT RESOLUTION. MY SERVICE ADVISER SHAWN AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF MERCEDES BENZ OF DELRAY HAVE TRIED SOME FIXES BUT ALL HAVE PROVEN TO BE TEMPORARY. THE NOISE GETS PROGRESSIVELY WORSE AFTER EACH "FIX" UNLESS I BRING THE VEHICLE BACK FOR ANOTHER ADJUSTMENT. NOW I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY BE AN UNDERLYING SAFETY ISSUE. WITH THE BRAKES.

The contact owns a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. The contact stated that while driving 45-50 MPH, the engine experienced rough idling and the vehicle was shaking violently. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact pulled over and turned off the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who determined that cylinder #1 had a cracked piston and the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then towed to another independent mechanic, who also determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

When driving the car, the engine began to violently shake and fail. The engine ended up having a piston failure due to a small wrist pin and needed the entire engine block replaced. I was lucky that I was not on the freeway or in a more dangerous spot when the engine failed while driving.

The P052E error has popped up which requires the replacement of the PVC assembly. This is a known issue with these engines and causes the engine to run erratically. Mercedes knows that the issue is common. Please investigate and issue a recall if applicable.

[XXX] While the problem is well known, all dealers are reporting the part is in back order without any visibility on when it would be available. This is forcing drivers, including myself to continue to drive the car and potentially creating a big damage to the car. I took the car to Mercedes-Benz of New Rochelle in NY state. I called multiple dealerships in the tri-state are and they all mentioned that the issue was well known without any ETA. Also with a check engine light the car can't pass safety/emission inspection and is not sellable. I bought a new car, can't sell this car and have 0 visibility on when I can get it fixed to sell it. I own a 2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 and I’ve noticed that a strong gas smell when I start the car during cold weather. You notice the smell outside and inside the cabin as well as it comes in through the vents.

While driving my car, I tried to open the Panamatic sun roof to get air. As I pushed the button to open the sun roof, it opened a crack on the the driver side and the other side of the sun roof stayed closed. At this point I heard a crashing assembly noise and the whole sun roof got stuck uneven and crooked. Driving on highway, I was shocked and felt in danger getting to an automobile accident and getting hit by other cars or any loose parts hitting them. Getting myself together, I pulled over and got out of the highway. I parked and tried to understand what happened. I tried to close the partially opened on one side glass roof with no avail. It was totally stuck. I parked my car and went home. A day after the incident, I had the car towed to an authorized repair shop for investigation and repair. It took two days to repair and replace all of the roof railing assemblies. A copy of the invoice is enclosed. It was a very dangerous and traumatic experience for me and I truly felt in this incident, I could have hurt other people or got myself in a bad accident.

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) To whom It May Concern, Complaint through your dealer, regional MB and state AG. Going through MBUSA is a waste of time. You would be better off going to Sears and buying a shiny new hammer and banging your head every hour on the hour. A little over a year ago, I Purchase a previously owned 2016 GLC300 from a local DGDG dealership in San Jose CA. for the past few month, I started experiencing a heavy fuel odor generated from the fuel rail and fuel injectors. I initiated a leak detection to verify the above-mentioned defect. I became aware the Mercedes Benz has a major issue with the fuel rail and fuel injectors that caused a safety & emission recall campaign 2022030003 that is launched to replace the fuel rail and fuel injectors on 139 Model Year 2016-2020 that included my car GLC-class vehicle. To my surprise my car VIN number was not listed and flagged in this campaign. According to the campaign issue, a leak may develop between the fuel line and the fuel injectors due to trapped debris from the production process, which could affect the safety and emissions of the vehicle. according to the documents of the campaign, trapped debris might damage the seal between the fuel rail and fuel injectors, which over the life of the vehicle, might result in a fuel leak into the engine compartment. I informed Mercedes Bens that my vehicle fuel rail line and fuel injectors have shown to have a safety manufacture failure. Leaking fuel from this area might contact hot parts of the engine and therefore the risk of fire cannot be ruled out. It seems that the fuel pressure deviation has exceeded the thresholds because the fuel odor is perceptible to me. I had an appointment with Mercedes Benz of Stevens Creek, and they established that my vehicle VIN number was not affected by the recall even though the defects exist on my vehicle. I have noticed extreme gas odors in the cabin of my car, the gas odor is so horrific that even when I exit the car either outside or in my garage the odor remains. My car is housed in my garage and I'm very concerned regarding these fumes which fills up my garage because my home is attached. I researched on a web site that there has been complaints and consequently a recall ( 21V961000) ON 12-12-2021 FOR GLC 300,2016, But my vehicle did not receive a recall notice. I am concerned regarding possible fire or illness related to fumes being inhaled.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Crank case vent valve malfunctioned 2 years ago and was replaced. Now it is failing again. Reports online from other owners show this part failing about every 2 years / 20k miles. This is not a wear item. Yes it is in my car How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? It is part of the fuel system so it can potentially damage the car Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? It has been inspected by the dealer Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There is a check engine light that appears right at failure, not before.

While driving on the NYS Thruway last week, when I accelerated to pass another car, my engine bucked and kicked followed by the "check engine" light coming on.In very heavy traffic, I was able to pull to the shoulder. I called my service garage and they suggested I not drive the car for safety reasons. When the tow truck arrived, I briefly started the car with the same bucking and kicking from the engine. The car was taken to my regular garage where the "check engine" codes showed issues with the fuel injector and fuel injection system. I was told there is an existing RECALL CAMPAIGN # 2022030003 for the same year, make and model as mine but, my VIN is not part of that RECALL. I would like your help as I do not believe Mercedes-Benz is being fair or equitable in this RECALL. ThankYou

THREE WEEKS AFTER BUYING THE GLC300 4MATIC THE ENGINE MISFIRES, GOT STRANDED IN AC NEW JERSEY, THE CAR WAS AT THE DEALER FOR 3 WEEKS, THEY REPLACED ALL FUEL INJECTOR/COILS AND IT KEPT HAPPENING, THEN THE FUEL MODULE GOT REPLACED AND IT RAN FINE FOR 4 WEEKS AND THE PROBLEM CAME BACK, GOT STRANDED IN BOSTON, THE CAR WAS AT THE DEALER FOR 2 WEEKS, THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE CONTROL UNIT (TODAY 4-22-16), I'M PICKING IT UP TOMORROW. I OWN THE CAR FOR 12 WEEKS AND ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT 7 WEEKS, SO DISAPPOINTED IN MERCEDES BENZ.

The mechanic determined that the fuel injectors had failed and that the fuel rail needed to be replaced. The mechanic provided the contact with information related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V961000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); for the fuel rails and fuel injectors. The mechanic referred the contact to the dealer for assistance. The dealer was informed of the failure and confirmed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. I am writing to express my deep concern and seek assistance regarding a potentially serious safety issue that I have experienced with my vehicle. I believe that my experience poses a significant risk to both my safety and that of other road users. In June, I encountered a distressing incident when my vehicle's steering wheel locked unexpectedly, leading to a hydroplaning incident that caused my vehicle to veer off the road. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but the situation was undeniably dangerous and alarming. My vehicle displayed a "steering wheel malfunction" message on the screen at the time of the incident. Following this event, I immediately contacted Mercedes Benz to report the issue and seek resolution. Subsequently, on August 1st, my vehicle was taken to a local Mercedes dealership as part of their investigation into the matter. On August 4th, I received a call from the dealership informing me that the inspection had been completed. However, they stated that they were unable to discuss the inspection findings with me directly, emphasizing that any communication regarding the investigation should come from Mercedes Benz USA. Despite my numerous attempts to communicate with Mercedes Benz USA through phone calls and emails, seeking information on the inspection findings and requesting a copy of the inspection report, there was no response or communication from the company. This lack of response and communication from Mercedes Benz left me deeply unsettled. However, I wish to update you that on August 31st, Mercedes Benz USA finally responded to my inquiries. While I appreciate their belated response, the substantial delay in communication further exacerbated my concerns about the safety of my vehicle and the responsibility of the manufacturer. Given the gravity of the incident and the potential risks associated with a steering wheel malfunction, I believe it is imperative that this matter is taken seriously and addressed promptly.

I was unable to put the car in the drive after pulling out parking spaces or any other instance where the car needed to move. When attempting to put in drive, the car would revert to neutral and drift. Leaving me stuck in the middle of the road or parking lots. Check engine light came on briefly after the car wouldn't go in to drive but disappeared. Took it in to dealer immediately and they indicated that the transmission valve body control unit had failed and needed to be replaced. The car has less than 60k miles.

THE WIND SHIELD WIPER'S ELECTRIC MOTOR AND WORM GEAR MALFUNCTIONED WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY. THE RAIN SENSOR OPTICS WERE ON AND OPERATIONAL AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. AS THE RAIN VOLUME INCREASED, THE AUTOMATIC SENSORS INCREASED THE WIPER VELOCITY. THE PASSENGER'S SIDE BLADE UNIT OVER-TORQUED AND BECAME ENTANGLED WITH THE DRIVER'S SIDE ROD. THIS ENTANGLEMENT CAUSED BOTH WIPER BLADES TO DETACH FROM THEIR RODS. THE TANDEM SYSTEM WIPER GEAR DISCONTINUED TO WORK, LEAVING THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE RODS IN A 45 DEGREE ANGLE, BLOCKING VISIBILITY. THE RODS, WITHOUT THE ENTIRE WIPER BLADE ATTACHMENTS DAMAGED THE WINDOW. DUE TO THE SAFETY HAZARD, BOTH RODS IN THE LINE OF THE DRIVER'S VISIBILITY AND THE WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE CAR WAS IMMEDIATELY DEEMED INOPERABLE DUE TO THIS MALFUNCTION.

THE SEATBELT LATCH FOR THE REAR SEATS RETRACT INTO THE BODY OF THE CAR AND THEN CAN'T BE USED. THIS HAPPENED TWICE NOW AND EACH TIME A REAR SEAT OCCUPANT HAD TO RIDE WITHOUT A SEATBELT . THE LATCH LATER HAD TO BE RETRIEVED WITH A HOOKED WIRE AND NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS. OTHER VEHICLES HAVE A BUTTON IN THE BELT TO PREVENT IT FROM RETRACTING OR THE OPENING IN THE CAR BODY IS TOO SMALL TO ALLOW THE LATCH FROM RETRACTING IN.

Piston 1 cracked while driving on the highway. My sibling was driving on the highway when the engine suddenly started misfiring and losing power because it lost compression on the piston that cracked. I was lucky enough that I have mechanic experience to replace all the damaged components myself and paid out of pocket. I was super fortunate that the cylinder walls did not get damaged when this happened thus not needing an entire engine replacement which would cost around $10,000 from mercedes. I had to go pick up a trailer from UHaul and go pick up the vehicle from where it broke down. Thinking about this from the perspective of a person who does not have access to rent a trailer, a vehicle to pull said trailer with, or the mechanic experience to fix the vehicle themselves, the cost to get this issue resolved would be much much more than it cost me.

On September 7, 2021, I had purchased four new Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS 235/55 R19 SL tires for my 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, from Discount Tires with warranties on each tire. On September 2, 2022, I taken my vehicle for a routine maintenance at my local Mercedes- Benz dealership and for my annual inspection. I was informed by the dealership that my two back tires were almost bald. In disbelief I inform the tech that I will be taking my vehicle back to Discount Tire since I had just purchased tires less than a year age. On September 6, 2022, I scheduled with Discount Tire and explained with my receipt that I had just purchased these tire less than a year ago. Once a representative from Discount Tire inspected my tires they agreed with the dealership that the two back tires were bad, and I haven't driven over ten thousand miles. So I had inquired about the factory warranty and was informed that there was no mileage for these tires, and they would only give me sixteen percent off for the purchase of new tires. Why would a company like Pirelli sell racing tires to companies which provide consumers that drive daily a race tire. This is certainly deceptive sales practices by both Pirelli and Discount Tire, not fully disclosing this information to the consumer. If an inspection wasn't warranted for the state I reside in I wouldn't of known. This matter needs to be addressed to the Pirelli Company, due consumer safety.

After dealership fix, we find out this vehicle maximum speed is 61 during driving on the freeway and it cannot speed over 61. Also, the engine amber light is on again and seatbelt is not working well. We have safety concerns when driving this vehicle on the freeway. Thanks.

The contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. The contact got off the highway and proceeded to her destination. The contact said she smelled the odor of gasoline while the vehicle was parked. The contact was driving in a parking lot at approximately 5 mph when she lost power to her brakes and the vehicle had another occurrence of sudden acceleration. The vehicle jumped the curb and began to climb up an incline while the contact was attempting to brake. The contact hit a hedge with the vehicle sustaining some front-end scratches. The contact said she suffered some neck pain from the accident but did not seek medical attention. The police were contacted and a report was filed. The vehicle was towed back to the contact's home. The contact called the local dealer where it was towed, the dealer did not diagnose the vehicle. The contact said she also was smelling gasoline from her vehicle at the dealer. Often after starting the car, inside the car there is a gas smell that we have to closed the vents as it becomes unhealthy until the smell goes away, it last up to 10 minutes. I have taking the car to my mechanic who specializes on Mercedes and could not find any leaks and/or anything wrong. My other issue is that during the raining season when I put my foot on the breaks it makes this loud sound like an airplane landing that I have to release and press and release and press so the car will slow down. My mechanic have done multiple inspections and finds nothing wrong. My third issue is the suspension, driving on freeways at speeds over 55 mph I feel a lot of shaking between front wheels and I can feel every single bump. Again, my mechanic has found nothing wrong that even checked for recalls and has told me that there are no recalls for this vehicle. Obviously there has to be a recall issue and the one more concerning is the gas smell inside the car at start up.

PUTTING THIS CAR INTO PARK WILL NORMALLY AUTOMATICALLY SET THE PARKING BRAKE. EARLIER THAT DAY, IT DID NOT SET THE BRAKE. I ASSUMED I MUST HAVE HIT SOME BUTTON OR SOMETHING ON MY DASH TO CAUSE THAT. BUT THEN ON THE FREEWAY, THE CAR (FOR WANT OF A BETTER TERM) STARTED WIGGLING AND I FOUND IT HARD TO CONTROL IT WITH THE STEERING WHEEL. IT STOPPED DOING THAT FOR A FEW SECONDS, AND THEN IMMEDIATELY HAPPENED AGAIN. AS I STARTED TO CHANGE LANES TO MOVE TOWARD THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FREEWAY, IT DID IT A THIRD TIME BUT IT WAS WORSE AND I HAD NO CONTROL AT ALL. IT WAS MOVING TOWARD THE RIGHT BUT OUT OF CONTROL AND WENT UP ON AN EMBANKMENT AND THEN BACK DOWN AGAIN. WHEN I LOOKED INTO IT, I REALIZED IT WAS DOING EXACTLY WHAT IS DESCRIBED IN A RECALL FOR THIS MAKE, MODEL AND YEAR WHEN THE ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM CONTROL GOES BAD. BUT THEY ARE NOT SHOWING ANY PROACTIVENESS TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER. THEY ARE INTENTIONALLY DELAYING THE PROCESS HOPING WE WILL GIVE UP SOONER THAN LATER. I WOULD REQUEST NHTSA TO INTERVENE AND TAKE SEVERE STEPS TOWARDS MERCEDES. MRS MARY ELIZABETH FROM MERCEDES HAS BEEN CONFUSING ABOUT THE PROCESS AND HAS NO CLUE ABOUT WHAT IS NEXT. SHE IS NOT WILLING TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION AND AFTER WASTING 20 DAYS SHE IS BLAMING INSURANCE COMPANY DID NOT PROVIDE PERMISSION. THEY NEVER BOTHER TO CALL ME AND UPDATE ME ABOUT PROCESS AND JUST FORMALLY SEND AN EMAIL WITH HALF BAKED INFORMATION.

ONCE IN AWHILE WHEN WARM. 2 WE SMELLED GASOLINE, WE TOOK IT TO A REPAIR SHOP, THEY FOUND TWO FUEL HOSES SPRAYED GAS IN A MIST ESPECIALLY WHEN COLD.. 3 THERE ARE 3 RECALLS OPEN ON THIS MERCEDES, I TOOK IT IN WHEN THE AIR BAG RECALL ARRIVED AT OUR HOUSE, I WAS TOLD WE DON'T HAVE PARTS. OUR CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY, IT HAS 56000 MILES. I TAKE IT TO A REPAIR SHOP RUN BY CERTIFIED MERCEDES TECHNICIANS. THANK GOD WE DIDN'T HAVE A FIRE WITH THE GAS LEAK. I DID SMELL THE GAS WHEN MOVING THRU THE VENTILATION SYSTEM AND WHEN SITTING AND THE SMELL WAS ALL AROUND THE CAR.

WHEN THE CAR IS AT ACOMPLETE STOP IT WILL SENSE IF SOME IS ABOUT TO REAR END YOU. THE CAR COMPLETELY LOCKS DOWN. WITH IMPACT THE PASSENGERS IN THE VECHILE TAKE A FULL BODY IMPACT. THE CURRENT SEATBELTS DO PROTECT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BODY BUT THE RIGHT SIDE GETS SEVER DAMAGE. HARNESS SEAT BELTS SUCH AS RACE CAR DRIVERS US OR CHILDREN CAR SEAT WOULD MINIMIZE RIGHT BODY INJURES. THIS FEATURE EQUATES THE IMPACT TO HITTING A BRICK WALL. MY ACCIDENT WAS ON A BUSY HIGHWAY.

BRAKES STARTED SCREECHING LOUDLY WHEN BACKING UP STARTLING NEIGHBORS. AFTER SEEING MANY REPORTS ON THIS SAME PROBLEM, I HAD THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE THE BRAKE PADS AS GOODWILL. SCREECHING RETURNED SHORTLY THEREAFTER AND I CONTINUE TO ANNOY NEIGHBORS. RUNFLAT TIRES THREADS WERE WORN OUT AFTER ONLY 10,000 REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF ALL 4 TIRES. REAR DOOR DRIVER'S SIDE IS UNABLE TO BE UNLOCKED OR OPENED FROM THE INSIDE. DRIVER'S SEAT SIDE PANEL COVERING SEAT BELT CONTINUES TO FALL OFF EXPOSING THE SEAT BELT DRIVE, EVEN AFTER REPAIR BY DEALERSHIP.

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
