The contact owns a 2015 Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle shut off with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The “Hybrid System Failure - Park Safely” message was displayed. The contact maneuvered the vehicle off to the shoulder of the highway. Due to the failure, the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where the diagnostic test showed that the high voltage battery had failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure; and the manufacturer provided the contact a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 92,000.

The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. The driver sustained injuries on both knees and her neck. The driver did seek medical attention at an urgent care. The contact stated 4 police officers did arrive at the location of the incident but no police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a towing lot. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer but refused to be serviced until the exterior damages from the crash were repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. APPOINTMENT MADE 2 MONTHS AWAY FROM CALL DUE TO NEED BY HENNESSY TO HAVE PART AVAILABLE. WAS CALLED DAY BEFORE APPOINTMENT THAT PART NOT AVAILABLE AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE. WAS TOLD PORCHE'S CALF FOR NOT SENDING PARTS. EITHER HENNESSY PORCHE OR PORCHE AT FAULT BUT MY SAFETY AT RISK AND NO RESOLUTIONS MADE FOR ME AT THIS TIME.
