Consequence: An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death.

SINCE THE GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR) IS STATED INCORRECTLY, THESE VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF PART 567, CERTIF...

Consequence: CUSTOMERS MAY UNKNOWINGLY EXCEED THE GVWR. EXCEEDING THE GVWR OF THE VEHICLE, CAN LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE STABILITY, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: JAGUAR WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE LABEL. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 23, 2012. OWNERS MAY CONTACT
