Earlier in the year the brake light (some times with slip and ABS) came on the dash and suddenly braking was diminished. There was a horrid grinding sound plus vibration under the pedal. I was on highway 17 (a dangerous mountain freeway in CA) going downhill and it was extremely scary as has a car full of friends kids and hardly any brakes. I braked as much as it would allow, down shifted and pulled to the side (which again if you google that highway people die all the time from idiot drivers/speeders/tight corners). I instinctively turned off the car and got out to check off something had gotten caught in my wheel but nothing. I turned the car on and the problem had gone so drove to the nearest garage but he couldn't find anything wrong. I called Nissan but they said they knew of no problems with breaking systems on the Armada and said to bring it in and pay for an expensive diagnosis. When I got home I googled it and found 100s of similar experiences with all sorts of repairs at Nissan that hadn't worked. Some say brake booster, others sensor, other reset or upgrade hardware. Not one actually fix so far but I did find a couple of lawsuits for the same reason so don't understand how this is not a recall. The second time I was in town so it wasn't too bad but hard to stop at the crossing for a pedestrian and today it went again going back up the mountain but luckily don't need to brake much going in that direction. If it can't be fixed and it involves brakes then surely this is a serious safety violation. I also noticed that others are having a similar problem with newer Armadas with a newly upgraded braking system from Nissan and another lawsuit is on file. How is this being ignored? My car is 20 and I was looking into another Nissan but if they don't stand by and honor their mistakes then I really have no faith in them

Once in awhile when the brakes are applied there is a loud sound that sounds like ache large can being crushed, and the brakes don't work properly. The car sort of lurches to a stop rather than coming to a smooth stop. If the engine is shut off and turned back on nine times out of 10 the brakes will begin to work again but occasionally it takes a few times of restarting the vehicle. I contacted Nissan and they said that they would contact me back and they had a lawyer call me who really just wanted to interrogate me more than offer any kind of solutions or answers. I was able to look up online and see that there is or was a class action lawsuit and that it's a known problem with many Nissan armadas being the master solenoid. This seems to be a continuing safety issue and if someone were to have to come to a quick stop there's no warning that this is going to happen beforehand and would negate any kind of safety stop. This has been going on for many years and is extremely expensive to fix. Which puts it right out for most families to be able to afford fixing this and just having to lope along hoping that it isn't one of those times when the brakes are going to give out in an emergency. Given that Nissan contacted me with a lawyer shows me that they are afraid of what could happen but not yet concerned enough that enough people have died for it to be worth their while cost-wise.

While driving the brake light came on and when I attempted to stop pedal goes almost to the floor and loud grinding noise is heard. I was able to barely stop the vehicle, I then shut off the vehicle, checked around the vehicle as well as engine compartment not finding any noticeable issue. Restarted the vehicle and brake light was off able to stop with no issue and no grinding noise was heard. Mentioned this to dealer when it was brought in for oil change and they indicated that there was no notice of a recall for this issue. They checked the vehicle and could not find any issues. This has happened several more times where brake light goes on, issue with trying to stop and loud grinding noise. The remedy seems to be to get the vehicle stopped, barely, shut off the vehicle, wait for a short moment and then restart the vehicle. This is very concerning if this happens when needing to make an immediate stop as it takes a bit to get the vehicle to stop when this occurs. Nothing in particular is being done while driving to cause this to happen and I have not been able to replicate.

Several times when driving, my brake light will come on and when pressing the brake, it does not engage. When you press on the pedal you hear a loud grinding sound. It does not slow down the vehicle at all and the grinding is loud and seems to be damaging internal parts. When you turn the engine off, and restart it the problem goes away. I have read so many similar issues with 2006 nissan armada about the brake light. How is this not a safety recall especially when I’m on the freeway driving 65 MPH and all of a sudden brake light comes on! I have to pull over safely and hard to do especially when the brake does not engage at all when the light is on. This is a huge safety concern for me due to the fact that I never know when this is going to happen again. What if it happens while I need to come to a quick emergency stop?! This is a major safety concern that needs to be looked into!!

I was driving on the road and my brake light came on and my brakes failed. As I tried to stop my brakes made a grinding spring noise. I turned the car off and after about 3 minutes I restarted and everything was fine. I continue to drive and less than 10 minutes later it did it again. I have went online to look for information and I see that there was a lawsuit about the booster Delta sensor. I called Nissan and they denied this, and I went to the Nissan dealership and they will check it out because they have not seen any recalls on my vehicle for this problem yet online there's a whole lot of customer complaints about this model doing the exact same thing. The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to slow the vehicle, the contact heard an abnormal sound emanating from the brake pads, requiring increased effort to slow the vehicle. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

WHEN APPLYING BRAKES, PEDAL GOES REAL LOW AND THERE IS A GRINDING SOUND WITH NO BRAKING. SIMULTANEOUSLY THE BRAKE LIGHT GOES ON. I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND TURN OFF ENGINE AND TRUCK RESETS BECAUSE I CAN DRIVE AWAY AS IF NOTHING OCCURRED. OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING A PROBLEM WITH THE BRAKES ON MY 2006 NISSAN ARMADA. EVERY 3-6 MONTHS THE BRAKES WILL MAKE A SCARY NOISE (CAN'T REALLY DESCRIBE IT - GRINDING/CLANKING), THE BRAKES WORK AT ABOUT 10% AND THE BRAKE LIGHT GOES ON. ONCE THE VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF, THE BRAKE LIGHT GOES OUT, THE NOISE DISAPPEARS AND THE BRAKES WORK AT 100% ONCE AGAIN. SO FAR IT HAS NOT HAPPENED IN A SITUATION WHERE I HAD TO STOP SUDDENLY. IF IT DOES, THERE WILL BE AN ACCIDENT, WHICH COULD RESULT IN INJURIES OR EVEN DEATH. I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK AND I GO TO STOP THE VEHICLE AND MY BRAKES MADE SHUTTERING AND CLANGING NOISES. THEN I NOTICE THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON. EVERY TIME I TRIED TO STOP I HEARD THAT NOISE AND HAD A VERY DIFFICULT TIME STOPPING I ALMOST RAN INTO THE BACK OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. I WAS ABOUT 20 MILES FROM THE DEALER SO I PUT MY HAZARD LIGHT ON AND DROVE ON THE FAR LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE FREEWAY AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE BETWEEN 10 TO 30 MILES/HR IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC UNTIL I GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP. ONCE I GOT TO THE DEALER AND EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM. HE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE HE HAD EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH THAT PARTICULAR PROBLEM. AS I WAS DRIVING AT STOP AND GO TRAFFIC SPEEDS OF 25 MPH OR LESS, MY BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON WITH A SPONGY FEELING FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL AS WELL AS A GRINDING NOISE FROM THE BRAKES. BROUGHT VEHICLE TO SEARS AND THEY DID A BRAKE INSPECTION (MECHANICAL) AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. PAID FOR A BRAKE INSPECTION AND THEY RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT OF BRAKE PADS BUT I HAD RECENTLY INSPECTED BRAKES AT ANOTHER SHOP THAT DID NOT RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT. ON 2/28/12, SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED AND I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TURNED THE CAR OFF, INSPECTED BRAKE FLUID (SAT) AND STARTED THE ENGINE BACK UP WITH NO SIGNS OF FAILURE. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact noticed fire and smoke coming from the front passenger side underneath the glove compartment area. The contact stopped and parked the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle and noticed the vehicle was on fire. The fire department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. A fire report was filed. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was left on the shoulder of the road. The contact stated the local police authorities later placed a sticker on the disabled burned vehicle because it was left on the shoulder of the road and had to be removed. The contact stated that the vehicle was junked. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,100.

AT THE TIME I ASSUMED IT WAS THE SEAT BELT LIGHT SO I HAD EVERYONE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THEIR BELTS WERE BUCKLED. AFTER REALIZING THAT EVERYONE WAS BUCKLED I ASKED MY SISTER TO GOOGLE SEARCH WHAT THE LIGHT MEANT. COME TO FIND OUT THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE AIR BAGS IN THIS VEHICLE, I DROVE TO MY FATHERS HOUSE AND HE HOOKED UP HIS CODE READER AND WE FOUND TWO CODES ONE WAS B1182 AND B1023. B1182 IS FOR THE AIR BAG SYSTEM AND THE B1023 WAS FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG SAYING THAT IT IS INOPERABLE.

THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS ON THE STEERING WHEEL DO NOT WORK. I WAS INFORMED THIS IS DUE TO A BAD CLOCK SPRING. AMONG THE SYSTEMS THAT DO NOT WORK (RADIO CONTROLS, CRUISE CONTROL) THE AIR BAG SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING (LIGHTS ON). I WONDER WHY THERE IS NO RECALL FOR THIS WHEN ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT SECURITY FEATURES OF THE VEHICLE IS NOT WORKING.

UPON INSPECTION, THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE LEAK STEMMED FROM THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD INTO THE PASSENGER SIDE CABIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LAMB NISSAN AND THE LEAK WAS CONFIRMED. DRIVING OUR NISSAN ARMADA AT APPRX 15MPH AND WENT OVER A TREE BRANCH THAT COULD NOT BE AVOIDED THAT HAD FALLEN, WITH NO INJURY TO OUR VEHICLE BUT CAUSED A LARGE LEAK IN THE GAS TANK. NOW THE PUNCTURED GAS TANK HAS TO BE REPLACED. THE RISK OF THIS LARGE PUNCTURE IN THE TANK FROM SUCH A MINOR IMPACT COULD HAVE RESULTED IN AN EXPLOSION OF THE VEHICLE. ON MAY 5 2015 MY FAMILY AND I WERE DRIVING ON THE 84 GOING EAST. WHEN SUDDENLY WE HEARD A LOUD NOISE AND THE NISSAN ARMADA STARTED VIBRATING AND WE HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY. WHEN MY HUSBAND LOOKED UNDER THE TRUCK THE DRIVE SHAFT HAD BROKEN OFF COMPLETELY WITH OUT ANY WARNING. THE DRIVE SHAFT DAMAGED THE TRANSMISSION AND THE MUFFLER THE EXHAUST AND ANOTHER THING I DONT KNOW THE NAME. WE WERE VERY LUCKY THAT THE TRUCK DIDN'T FLIP OVER. I CALLED NISSAN LETTING THEM KNOW OF THIS ISSUE THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL GET BACK TO ME ON MONDAY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND ALL DRIVE SHAFTS SHOULD BE RECALLED AND REPLACED FREE. MY HUSBAND ALREADY REPLACED OURS BUT JUST THE COST OF ALL THE REPAIRS IS WELL OVER 2000 DOLLARS WHICH IN MY OPINION NISSAN CORP SHOULD BE PAYING FOR.

WE PURCHASED OUR CAR USED WITH 53,000 MILES ON IT. UPON REACHING 60,000 MILES WE HEARD SOME KNOCKING AND PERIODICALLY SMELLED EXHAUST IN THE CABIN WHILE DRIVING. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR DIAGNOSIS AND WAS TOLD THAT BOTH EXHAUST MANIFOLDS WERE CRACKED AND NEEDED REPLACED. WE WERE ALSO TOLD THAT NISSAN DID EXTEND THE WARRANTY FOR THIS ISSUE ON SOME 2006 ARMADAS TO 80,000 MILES, HOWEVER THE TIME PERIOD HAD BEEN TOO LONG FOR OUR CAR TO BE COVERED. I CONTACT NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS DIRECTLY AND WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD HELP US WITH, AND WERE NOT EVEN WILLING TO TELL ME IF THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH THIS YEAR AND MODEL OF VEHICLE. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER CONSUMERS WITH THE SAME YEAR AND MODEL ONLINE, AND IT APPEARS THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ENOUGH ISSUES YET FOR NISSAN TO TAKE ANY REALLY RESPONSIBILITY.

PAID TOW BILL, PAID DEALER TO: REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER, WHEEL SENSORS, BRAKE PADS, ROTORS AND TWO TIMES FOR LABOR RATE TO TRY AND DIAGNOSE ISSUE. AFTER DEALER FAILED TO ADMIT THERE WAS AN ISSUE, BUT CONTINUED TO JUST REPLACE PARTS. I FINALLY CARRIED IT TO A LOCAL MECHANIC, HE EXPLAINED NISSAN HAS AN ISSUE THAT THEY ARE NOT RECALLING. THE ONLY TEMPORARY RESOLUTION IS TO UNHOOK THE BATTERY WHEN IT APPEARS. The contact owned a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact stated while driving approximately 20 MPH and approaching a stop sign, the contact became aware of smoke and then fire coming from underneath the hood. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact and passenger exited the vehicle safely. The contact stated that she had minor hip pain but did not seek medical attention. The contact stated that the Fire Department arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire but not before the vehicle was destroyed. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number 10V517000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) and 08V284000 (Equipment) for which the VIN was included. The approximate failure mileage was 182,000.

OWN A 2006 NISSAN ARMADA LE. STARTED MY TRUCK AND THE BRAKE, VDC, SLIP, AND 4WD LIGHTS LIT UP ON THE DASHBOARD. THOUGHT IT APPEARED BECAUSE IT WAS GETTING COLD. DROVE A COUPLE OF BLOCKS DOWN A CITY A STREET AND HEARD A LOUD GRINDING NOISE WHEN THE BRAKES WERE PRESSED AND THE TRUCK JOLTED A LITTLE BIT. AFTER ANOTHER BLOCK, LIGHTS WENT AWAY AND DIDN'T HAVE MORE ANY ISSUES ON THE WAY HOME. WHEN I GOT HOME, TURN THE TRUCK OFF AND RESTARTED THE TRUCK, NO LIGHTS. DID A GOOGLE SEARCH AND READ MANY ISSUES RELATING TO THIS. A COUPLE A DAYS LATER CHECKED THE TRUCK, ON START-UP...NO LIGHTS, THEN WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE, THE SAME LIGHTS LIT UP. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, LIGHTS WERE LIT, BRAKES ENGAGED, AND SPEEDOMETER WAS FLUCTUATING AND THEN DIDN'T MOVE. WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP, SPEEDOMETER ACTIVATED AGAIN WHEN THE TRUCK WAS PUT IN PARK. NISSAN DEALERSHIP DID A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND THE ADVISOR INDICATED BOTH THE ECM AND ABS ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WERE FRIED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, $3,100 TO START OUT WITH. TRUCK IS STILL AT THE SHOP, NO WORK HAS STARTED. NOTIFIED NISSAN CUSTOMER RELATIONS SINCE THERE IS A KNOWN ISSUE, WAITING TO HEAR BACK. ALSO CALLED ANOTHER DEALERSHIP TO SEE WHAT THEY COULD TELL ME AND IT WAS MENTIONED THAT THERE IS A KNOWN ISSUE. CALLED THE SERVICE DEPT. BACK THE NEXT DAY AND TALKED TO ANOTHER ADVISOR, THE ADVISOR INDICATED SINCE THERE ARE SOME ARE HARD CODES (U1000, U1001) DISPLAYED WITH THE ECM AND ABS ASSEMBLY, THE SYSTEMS POTENTIALLY NEED TO BE REPLACED.

AFTER THE INCIDENT, I CHECKED THE BRAKES AND IT HAD STOPPED. THIS WAS ONE INCIDENT OF MANY. THE VEHICLE'S BRAKES STOP WORKING AND MAKES A GRINDING NOISE. IF I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND RESTART IT, IT WILL STOP DOING IT. THE VEHICLES BRAKE PADS, CALIPERS, AND BRAKE BOOSTER HAS BEEN REPLACED AND IT STILL CONTINUES TO DO IT. THERE IS NO CONSISTENCY TO THIS OCCURRING. IT DOES THIS PERIODICALLY WITH THE SAME RESULT. I RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM AND IT SEEMS THIS IS AND HAS BEEN A PROBLEM INVOLVING NISSAN ARMADAS NATIONWIDE WITH SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES. THERE ARE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS BEING REPORTED ON THE INTERNET ALL OF THESE COMPLAINTS ARE DESCRIBED THE SAME WAY. ON APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 24, 2013 I WAS DRIVING DOWN MY STREET HEADING TO THE STORE. WHEN APPROACHING A TRAFFIC LIGHT, I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THE BRAKE LIGHT WENT ON AND I HAD SUDDEN LOSS OF BRAKING POWER, WITH A GRINDING NOISE, LOOSE BRAKING MOTION. THE BRAKE PEDAL ACTUALLY WENT ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR PANEL. I WAS ABLE TO STOP VEHICLE, ALTHOUGH I HAD APPROXIMATELY 70-80% REDUCED BRAKING POWER. IMAGINE HOW SCARY IT WAS TO TRY AND STOP A 6,000LBS VEHICLE WITH ONLY 20% OF YOUR NORMAL BRAKING POWER. I CAME WITHIN INCHES OF HITTING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. I TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON AND PROBLEM WAS GONE WHEN I RESTARTED. I TOOK IT IN TO MY MECHANIC, WHO ATTEMPTED TO SEE THE PROBLEM FOR HIMSELF. HOWEVER, IT DID NOT REPEAT THE SAME SYMPTOMS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ARMADA. THE CONTACT STATED A VDC WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE BRAKE SENSOR CAUSED THE VDC LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS TO REMEDY THE BRAKE SENSORS; THEREFORE, THE DEALER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO ANOTHER DEALER. THE SECOND DEALER ALSO PREFERRED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST BE PERFORMED. THE DEALER STATED THE BRAKE BOOSTER CAUSED THE VDC LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE BOOSTER BUT THE REPAIR DID NOT REMEDY THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER WHO PERFORMED ANOTHER DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DEALER STATED THE STEERING SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND CAUSE THE VDC LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE DEALER RESET THE STEERING SENSOR. THE VDC FAILURE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE MANUFACTURER WHO STATED ALL THREE DEFECTS COULD HAVE CAUSED THE VDC LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,500.

THE NISSAN SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID IT WAS A SENSOR THAT WENT BAD AND THE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM THAT POSSIBLY WAS BAD. I PAID OVER $500 TO GET IT FIXED AND HAD TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT THAT WHAT THEY DID MAY NOT FIX IT, AND IF SO, THE BRAKE BOOSTER WOULD THEN NEED TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $1000. WHILE CROSSING A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY, I ALMOST GOT TO THE STREET ON THE OTHER SIDE WHEN ANOTHER CAR CRASHED INTO THE FRONT END OF THE PASSENGER SIDE. I BOUGHT MY NISSAN ARMADA BRAND NEW IN 2007. IT IS A 2006 MODEL. THE VEHICLE IS VERY STYLISH BUT IT IS LIKE A DEATH TRAP. WHEN THE BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY RAN OUT @ 36,000 MILES, MY BRAKES HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE. EVERY YEAR I HAVE HAD TO GET BRAKES PUT ON THE ARMADA AND IT HAS TO BE NISSAN BRAKES BECAUSE I TRIED OTHER BRAKES AND THEY SQUEAL AND GRIND. NOW I HAVE AN RATHER SCARY SITUATION. 2006 NISSAN ARMADA VEHICLE DYNAMIC CONTROL AND BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON AND BRAKES FAILED. THE PROBLEM FIRST OCCURRED AS I WAS DRIVING ON A STRAIGHT, FLAT STREET AT ABOUT 40 MILES PER HOUR. PRESSING THE BRAKES CAUSES A LOUD CRUNCHING NOISE ON THE FRONT THAT SOUNDED LIKE THE BRAKES BEING CHEWED UP. IT HAS HAPPENED ABOUT FOUR TIMES IN ABOUT A 6-MONTH PERIOD BEFORE TAKING THE VEHICLE IN FOR THE RECENT RECALLS ON THE FUEL AND SOME UNDER THE VEHICLE PROBLEM. SINCE THAT TIME THE PROBLEM OCCURS CONSTANTLY. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY RAN TEST 59637 WHICH SHOWED CODE C1189 BOOSTER DEFECT. IT ALSO STATES THAT IS "UNSAFE TO DRIVE." I COULD NOT AFFORD A $1,200.00 REPAIR JOB SO THEY SAID THAT THEY COULD REPROGRAM IT TO SEE IF THAT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM, AND IT DID NOT. I CONTACTED NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS, AND THEY REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THE WARRANTY HAD ALREADY RUN OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST. THE DEALER ADVISED HIM THAT THE ABS COMPUTER HAD BURNED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. I WAS DRIVING ONE DAY WITH MY 3 KIDS IN THE CAR AND THE VDC SLIP AND BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON OUT OF NO WHERE. I STARTED TO CRY AND PANIC BECAUSE I HAD ALL OF MY KIDS IN THE CAR AND HAD NO IDEA WHAT TO DO SO I PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND LET THE CAR ROLL AND JUST PULLED AWAY FROM TRAFFIC AS MUCH AS I COULD. FINALLY I PULLED INTO A PARKING LOT WHERE I HIT THE BREAKS AND EMERGENCY BREAK TO MAKE IT STOP. I PLACED THE CAR IN PARK AND WAS TERRIFIED TO DRIVE AFTER THAT SO I CONTACTED THE DEALER AND ASKED IF I COULD BRING IT IN IMMEDIATELY. ONCE AT THE DEALER I WAS TOLD AGAIN NOTHING WAS WRONG AND THAT MY BRAKES WERE FINE AND THEY DID NOT FIND ANYTHING. THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME 2 MORE TIMES AND STILL NO ONE SEEMS TO FIND ANYTHING WRONG. MY BRAKES HAVE BEEN REPLACED AND EACH TIME I PRESS ON THEM I AM TERRIFIED THAT THE CAR IS NOT GONNA STOP. MY AUTO SHOP CALLED COOPERS THEY SAID THEY'LL REPLACE 70% TOWARD COST OF NEW ONES BUT REMEMBER THESE TIRES ARE ONLY 9MOS OLD I WANTED THEM REPLACED AT NO CHARGED. AND WANTED THEM TO HONOR THEIR TIRES. MY TIRES ARE CAUSING ME TO HYDO PLANE IN WATER, THE STEERING IS NOT STABLE ( HEAVY VIBRATION ON STEERING COLUMN WITH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH) DISPUTE HAVING A NEW ALIGNMENT THEIR IS COUPLING IN TIRES AND A BLISTER ON MY REAR TIRE LEFT DRIVER SIDE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE CONDENSER FAN FAILED AND CAUSED THE WIRING HARNESS TO OVERHEAT AND MELT. THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE FAN AND WIRING HARNESS. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY; THEREFORE, THEY WILL NOT ASSIST WITH THE REPAIR COSTS. SHE STOPPED THE VEHICLE AND NOTICED THAT THE BOLTS BROKE OFF FROM THE TIE ROD THAT WAS CONNECTED TO THE AXLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER REPLACED THE AXEL. SINCE PURCHASIN, THE VEHICLE THERE WERE SEVERAL FAILURES THAT OCCURRED, THE SAFETY SENSOR AND THE HEAT WAS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY. THERE WAS RECAL CAMPAIGN # PB014, ACCORDING TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER TRIED TO CONTACT ALL THE OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE. THE CONTACT FILED A COMPLAINT WITH STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL.
