The timing chain rattled, wearing a hole in the timing cover causing oil leak. After driving my car and parking it, all of the oil leaked out on to the ground. When trying to drive the car, even before the oil leak, the car would completely shut off whenever I would slow down, including in the middle of intersections. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me that the timing chain had worn a hole in the timing cover, and a Nissan dealership service shop told me that I would need to get the engine replaced. Even before all of the oil leaked out, I was put in great danger not knowing when my car would shut off when driving it and slowing down. At one point, the service engine soon light came on, but it went away and the car drove like normal for a period before the oil leaked out. I was never informed about any recalls or service notices when I bought the car or when getting it routinely serviced.

The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that on various occasions while driving at various speeds, a rattling noise was heard coming from the engine compartment. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the timing chain needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the timing chain needed to be replaced again. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 168,000.

TIMING CHAIN SHOWS SIGNS OF DEFECT IN MY 2011 NISSAN JUKE.ENGINE STRUGGLE/SLOW TO ACCELERATE AT INTERSECTION MULTIPLE TIMES. THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON VEHICLE 2014 FOR TIMING CHAIN/ TENSIONER. REPORTED TO NISSANUSA ABOUT SITUATION AND WAS TOLD ALL RECALLS WERE CLOSED ON VEHICLE, I'M JUST CONCERNED THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE RETAINING TO A PART THAT WAS ALREADY RECALLED FOR FEAR OF FAILURE AND RISK AND REPLACED WITH ANOTHER PART THAT IS INFERIOR OR REINSTALLED INCORRECTLY. SECOND FAILURE OF TIMING CHAIN AND FRONT COVER AFTER INITIAL REPAIR UNDER CAMPAIGN P4213. FAILURE IS OF EXACT SAME PARTS REPLACED UNDER CAMPAIGN, BUT NISSAN IS REFUSING TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY WITH A SECOND REPAIR. FAILURE OF THESE PARTS CAUSES A MASSIVE OIL DUMP, STALLING OF VEHICLE, AND FURTHER DAMAGE IF DRIVEN. CAR STALLED WHILE TURNING INTO A GAS STATION AND DUMPED ALL OIL.

IN 2014 NISSAN OF NORTH OLMSTEAD DID A RECALL ON OUR TIMING CHAIN WHEN THEY DID THE RECALL THEY DID NOT REPLACE THE TENSIONERS CAUSING THE CHAIN TO RUB THROUGH THE TIMING CHAIN COVER. THERE IS ALSO METAL SHARDS IN OUR OIL IN THE ENGINE. MY VEHICLE WAS TAKEN IN FOR ORIGINAL RECALL REPAIR IN NOVEMBER 2018 TO CHARLIE CLARK NISSAN. UPON PICKUP OF VEHICLE, I ALERTED SERVICE MAN OF STRONG SMELL OF GAS AND HE STATED IT HAD BEEN REPAIRED BUT MY FILTERS SIMPLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I HAD ALL MY FILTERS REPLACED THREE TIMES AND ATTEMPTED TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO ALTERNATE NISSAN DEALERSHIPS DUE TO PERSISTENT SMELL OF GAS BUT WAS TOLD SINCE THEY'RE ARE NO OPEN CAMPAIGNS WITH MY VIN. I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK TO ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP AND HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD IT IS INDEED LEAKING FUEL AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE RECALL BUT THEY ARE UNABLE TO COVER THE COSTS OF THE REPAIR DUE TO IT ALREADY BEEN PREVIOUSLY WORKED ON. VEHICLE LEAKS FUEL PROFUSELY, OMITS BLACK FUMES THROUGH EXHAUST AND HAS ISSUES ACCELERATING. AVERAGE FUEL USAGE IS 60 MILES PERFULL TANK OF GAS.

FUEL PRESSUE SENSOR FAILED AFTER TORQUED DOWN RECALL WAS COMPLETED BY DEALER. BOUGHT MY 2011 JUKE NEW FROM DEALER. CAR HAS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 2016. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECALL INFORMATION REGARDING THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR UNTIL 2018. I WAS NOT EXPERIENCING ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. APON RECIEVING THE RECALL NOTICE IN MAY 2018, I TOOK MY VEHICLE IN TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP TO ADDRESS RECALL. I PICKED UP MY JUKE AND BROUGHT IT HOME. SINCE I HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE, THIS ONE WAS NOT MY DAILY DRIVER. I WENT OUT ONCE EVERY FEW DAYS TO CRANK IT UP. I DID NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A FUEL SMELL WHEN I CRANKED THE CAR. THOUGHT MAYBE SINCE THEY TORQUED THE FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR FOR THE RECALL, MAYBE SOMEHOW FUEL HAD GOTTEN IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND WOULD SIMPLY BURN OFF. THIS CONTINUED EVERY TIME I STARTED THE CAR. I DECIDED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER. HAD TO TOW VEHICLE 30+ MILES BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE FIRE OR EXPLOSION FROM ANY IGNITION SOURCE THAT COULD OCCUR. I WAS CONCERNED WHEN THE FUEL SMELL DID NOT GO AWAY. SERVICE MANAGER CALLED AND SAID IT WAS THE FUEL PRESSURE SENDER AND THAT IT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. I ASK FOR PART NUMBER WHICH CAME BACK TO FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR. HE ADVISED ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY OVER $750 DOLLARS FOR PARTS AND LABOR. SO I AUTHORIZED HIM TO ORDER THE PART BECAUSE THEY DONT KEEP RECALL PARTS ON HAND. I NEEDED TO CONTACT NISSAN. MY QUESTION IS IF THERE IS OR HAS BEEN 3 SEPARATE RECALLS FOR THIS PART AND MY VEHICLE WAS FINE BEFORE THE 2018 RECALL REPAIR. WHY IS THE DEALER REQUIRING ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR? IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT RECALLS DONT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE. IF A PART FAILS THAT IS A KNOWN RECALLED PART THROUGHOUT NISSAN VEHICLES, THEN WHY ISN'T IT BEING REPLACED FOR FREE DUE TO THE HAZARDOUS NATURE OF NOT REPLACING IT.

THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN TURNING ON WITH A STEADY YELLOW ORANGE COLOR INDICATING A MASS AIR SENSOR ISSUE EVEN AFTER THE SENSOR HAS BEEN REPLACED. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO LOCATE ISSUE, NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIND REASON FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT INDICATOR TURNING ON. AFTER RESEARCHING THIS ISSUE, MANY CASES HAVE COME UP WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. IT'S TIME NISSAN INVESTIGATE THIS POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION RELATED TO THIS INDICATOR LIGHT. THE LIGHT GOES ON WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TURNED ON FIRST THING IN THE MORNINGS WHILE PARKED IN MY GARAGE.

THE TURBO COMPONENT WENT OUT AND ITS UNSAFE TO DRIVE, I AM ONE MONTH OUTSIDE OF THE RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM MY CAR IS A 2011 WITH 57K MILES ON IT AND THE AVERAGE FOR LA IS 12-15K. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY THE SUNROOF ON MY 2011 NISSAN JUKE EXPLODED. IT SOUNDED LIKE SOMEONE HAD SHORT MY CAR. THANKFULLY THE SHADE WAS CLOSED OR THE GLASS WOUND HAVE FALLEN DOWN WHILE DRIVING, CAUSING AN INJURY OR POSSIBLE CRASH. The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the odor of fuel was present inside and outside of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who performed the recall repair under NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V156000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). After retrieving the vehicle, the odor of fuel was still present. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the fuel pressure sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The failure mileage was 106,000. The contact stated that after the recall repair was performed, there was still a fuel leak coming from the same part that they had replaced.

ON 2/1/12 MY DAUGHTER NOTICED A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL COMING FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SAFETY REASONS. THE SERVICE MANAGER FOUND A SEVERE LEAK "THAT WAS POURING FUEL INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT" WHENEVER THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING. THE LEAK WAS AT THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND REALIZED THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM AND HAS HAPPENED TO MANY JUKE OWNERS. MY 18 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER COULD HAVE DIED IN A VEHICLE FIRE! WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH, THE SUNROOF EXPLODED. IT SOUNDED LIKE A GUN SHOT AND GLASS FLEW EVERYWHERE INSIDE AND OUT OF CAR. NO ROAD HAZARD OR DEBRIS NOTED TO CAUSE ANY DAMAGE. The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that the master sensor needed to be replaced. The part was replaced twice with an OEM and an aftermarket part however, the failure persisted. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V156000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact was informed by the dealer that the database showed no information and the dealer declined to repair the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. Parts distribution disconnect. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the vehicle started to decelerate. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed with a faulty fuel pump sensor. The vehicle was not repaired due to the part being on back order. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the repair had been completed. The contact stated that after leaving the dealer and driving for approximately ten minutes, the contact noticed that the vehicle failed to exceed 10 MPH. The contact stated that there was a strong fuel odor underneath the hood of the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and had informed them that the check engine warning light was illuminated; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage unknown.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED INDEPENDENTLY AND STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TURBO FIELDS WERE DAMAGED, WHICH CAUSED OIL TO ENTER THE INTAKE. THE MECHANIC ALSO STATED THAT THE TURBOCHARGER NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE JUKE WAS RECALLED FOR A TIMING CHAIN REPLACEMENT ON DEC 16,2015 AT MILEAGE 96,133. IN THEIR REPORT IT STATES THAT DUE TO THE TIMING CHAIN HAVING BEEN STRETCHED AND RUBBED INTO THE SIDE OF THE ENGINE AND TIMING COVER;ALUMINUM SHAVINGS FROM THE BLOCK SOAKED IN OIL FROM THE LEAK THE CHAIN CREATED, IS THE REASON THE ENGINE WAS MALFUNCTIONING THIS TIME AROUND. IT WAS ONLY "PATCHED AND NOT FIXED" STATES THE MECHANIC FROM ED HICKS NISSAN. I PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 100,000 MILES AND AT 108,000 MILES THE ENGINE BLOWS AND NISSAN DOES NOT WANT TO CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DAMAGE. STARTING APPROXIMATELY 12/1/2014, WE BEGAN TO NOTICE A STRONG SMELL OF GASOLINE IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WITHIN MINUTES OF STARTING THE VEHICLE. THE SMELL WOULD DIMINISH AS THE CAR WARMED UP, BUT WOULD NOT GO AWAY COMPLETELY. WE CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALER SERVICE DEPT., AND WERE TOLD THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE. UPON TAKING THE CAR IN TO BE SERVICED, THEY CONFIRMED THE FUEL LEAK WAS FROM THE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR, WHICH IS THE PRECISE PROBLEM WHICH PROMPTED THE RECALL CAMPAIGN. ON FURTHER INVESTIGATION, THEY DETERMINED THE RECALL SERVICE (TECHNICAL BULLETIN REFERENCE NTB12-021B) HAD ALREADY BEEN PERFORMED ON THIS VIN, AND NISSAN WOULD NOT COVER THE REPAIR AT THIS POINT. NISSAN'S RECALL CAMPAIGN ID# IS R1201, NHTSA#12V-069. IT APPEARS, AT LEAST IN THIS CASE, THE RECALL SERVICE WAS INEFFECTIVE IN CORRECTING OR PREVENTING THE FUEL LEAK ISSUE, MAKING IT POSSIBLE THAT ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES MAY STILL BE PRONE TO THIS FUEL LEAK PROBLEM . Transmission has a problem with overheating on any trip longer than an hour, leading to the car going into limp mode and being unable to maintain speeds and/or climb any high % grade. This has happened to me multiple times, leading to an immediate loss of power and the need to pull over and park on mountain roads to avoid rolling backwards. This is a known issue on juke forums, and nissan themselves have code read countless cars with the CVT transmission being the issue.

IN AUGUST OF 2013 I PURCHASED A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. 2 MONTHS LATER THE BATTERY DIED. I REPLACED IT. BETWEEN THAT TIME AND MARCH 2015 I HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERY 2 ADDITION TIMES. IN MARCH OF 2015 AGAIN THE BATTERY DIES. I JUMPED STARTED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES IN A PERIOD OF 3 DAYS. ON THE 4TH DAY WHILE DRIVING THE CAR ACTED AS IF IT WOULD STALL ON ME WHILE DRIVING. THIS SCARED ME ENOUGH TO TAKE IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY RAN DIAGNOSTIC TEST ON THE CAR AND FOUND NOTHING. THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY (CORPORATE REIMBURSED ME FOR THE COST) NOW IN FEB 2016 THE NEW BATTERY THEY INSTALLED DIED AGAIN. I DID AS THEY ADVISED ME TO DO THE PREVIOUS TIME WHICH IS TO HAVE IT TOWED INTO THE DEALERSHIP INSTEAD OF JUMP STARTING IT AND DRIVING IT TO THEM. AGAIN THEY RAN DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND FOUND NOTHING. The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle would shut-off with the service engine soon warning light illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle twice to the dealer where she purchased the vehicle and both times the dealer was unable to diagnose the failure. As the failure persisted, the vehicle was taken to Nissan of Hendersonville (1340 Spartanburg Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28792) where they replaced the spark plugs and performed an oil change; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

I TOOK MY CAR IN TO A LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP FOR A RECALL ON A FUEL SENSOR AND GASKET(S) AND I HAD A RATTLING NOISE I ASKED THEM TO LOOK INTO WHILE THEY HAD THE CAR. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE TIMING CHAIN WAS LOOSE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AT $2100. THE CAR HAS LOST HALF OF ITS VALUE IN LESS THEN 2 YEARS OF OWNING IT AND I DIDN'T EVEN BUY IT BRAND NEW (HAD LESS THE 7,000 MILES ON IT). I HAVE GONE BACK AND FORTH WITH A MANAGER AT NISSANUSA WHO IS OFFERING TO HELP OUT WITH PAYING $400 OF THE BILL. I HAVE SEEN WHERE THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2011 JUKE AND REALLY NEEDS TO BE A RECALL. NISSAN HAS PAID FOR NEW ENGINES WHEN THE CHAIN BROKE, LEAVING PEOPLE STRANDED. THEY PAY FOR A NEW ENGINE (NOT THE LABOR) WITH A 1 YEAR /12,000 MILE WARRANTY, BUT WILL NOT PUT OUT A RECALL ON THE TIMING CHAIN! I CALLED AND GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIR FROM A DIFFERENT NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHO QUOTED ME QUITE A BIT LESS THEN THE $2100 AND I ASKED IF NISSAN WAS WILLING TO GIVE THE $400 TOWARDS THE REPAIR AT THAT LOCATION AND THEY REFUSED. I NOW HAVE OIL SPEWING ALL OVER FROM A CRACKED TIMING CHAIN COVER. THE CAR IS NOT DRIVABLE AND I DO NOT HAVE $2100 PLUS THE COST OF A NEW COVER NOW, ESPECIALLY WHEN I'M UPSIDE DOWN BY $5,000. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. THE CONTACT STATED THE ENGINE FAILED AND THE BATTERY DRAINED EXCESSIVELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. THE WINDSHIELD MADE A SQUEAKING AND RATTLING NOISE WHEN DRIVING AND GOING OVER BUMPS. IT WAS ALMOST A CONSTANT SOUND. THE ENGINE WOULD IDLE AND SPUTTER, WHEN STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT. WHEN THE CONSUMER ACCELERATED FROM THE LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED. IT WAS DETERMINED THE TIMING CHAIN SNAPPED AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE CRANK SPROCKET AND CHAIN. THE TIMES CHAINS, GUIDES, TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER AND CRANK SPROCKET WERE ALL REPLACED. THE VEHICLE STARTED BUT MIS-FIRED DUE TO THE VALVES BEING BENT. THE ENGINE BLOCK WAS THEN REPLACED, DUE TO DAMAGE TO THE VALVE GUIDES AND PISTON TOPS. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TO TOWED TO THE DEALER, BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS EMITTING BLUE GRAYISH, COLORED SMOKE, AND THEN STALLED. UPDATED 06/18/14

ON JANUARY 18TH, DEALER COMPLETED RECALL NOTICE REPAIR OF FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR. WHEN VEHICLE WAS PICKED UP FROM DEALER THAT WEEKEND, ONLY WENT 2 1/2 MILES AND VEHICLE EXPERIENCED ELECTRICAL FAILURES. ENGINE GETTING FUEL, HOWEVER NO POWER TO TRANSMISSION, STEERING, BRAKES. DEALER STATES ITS THE BATTERY AND REPLACED BATTERY. APPROXIMATELY 25 MILES LATER WE HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME ELECTRICAL FAILURES. STARTING WITH POWER, THEN RADIO, LIGHTS, FANS AND SHIFTING, AND EVENTUALLY TOTAL ENGINE FAILURE. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 NISSAN JUKE. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE ENGINE POWER BEGAN TO REDUCE SIGNIFICANTLY WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE ENGINE WARNING INDICATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS MANEUVERED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THEN TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR WAS CLEANED AND THE AIR FILTER WAS REPLACED. I HAVE BROUGHT MY 2011 NISSAN JUKE TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE LIGHT COMES ON AND GOES OFF FREQUENTLY WITHOUT A PROBLEM. I HAVE BROUGHT THE CAR IN WITH THE LIGHT ON AND NO PROBLEM COULD BE FOUND SO THEY WOULD RESET THE LIGHT. MANY PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN FOR THE PROBLEM YET THE DEALER REFUSES TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. TODAY I MADE THE DEALER AWARE OF THE SERVICE BULLETIN (THEY SAID THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT) THEY SAID THAT MY VIN IS NOT PART OF THE BULLETIN YET I HAVE THE IDENTICAL PROBLEM. I CALLED NISSAN, THEY AGREED WITH THE DEALER AND SAID UNLESS THE DEALER COULD FIND A DEFECT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO. TODAY I ACTUALLY DID HAVE A NAIL IN MY TIRE AND THANKFULLY I WAS AT THE DEALER FOR ANOTHER RECALL. I HAVE GROWN SO USED TO SEEING THE LIGHT ON I NOW IGNORE IT. VEHICLE INVOLVED: 2011 NISSAN JUKE SL AND HAS 4,192 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY, WE RAN OVER SOME DEBRIS WHICH PUNCTURED THE GAS TANK, CAUSING ALL OF THE GAS TO BEGIN POURING OUT OF THE TANK. WE HAD JUST FILLED UP THE 11.8 GALLON FUEL TANK AND HAD NO IDEA THE FUEL WAS LEAKING UNTIL WE PULLED INTO THE DRIVEWAY APPROX. FIVE MILES LATER. WE CALLED THE FIRE DEPT. FOR FEAR OF THE CAR EXPLODING IN THE DRIVEWAY. THE FIREFIGHTERS WERE SHOCKED THERE WAS NOTHING PROTECTING THE FUEL TANK FROM ROAD DEBRIS BOUNCING UP AND PUNCHING A HOLE INTO IT. I FEEL THIS IS A MANUFACTURERS DEFECT. THE GAS TANK SHOULDN'T BE SITTING OUT SO EXPOSED. NISSAN HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH THE MURANO FOR WHICH THEY ORDERED A SAFETY RECALL TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM. THEY SHOULD DO THE SAME WITH THE JUKE. THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND NISSAN CORPORATION HAS SHOWN NOT A CARE FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND I, CLAIMING IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT WE RAN OVER SOMETHING IN THE ROAD. THE REALITY IS SOME THINGS ARE UNAVOIDABLE TO RUN OVER AND THE GAS TANK SHOULDN'T BE SO EASILY RUPTURED AND POSITIONED WITH NO TYPE OF PROTECTIVE PLATE IN THE WAY. THE REPAIR BILL WAS $863.04 TO PUT IN A NEW GAS TANK. MY WIFE IS NOW TERRIFIED OF DRIVING THE CAR FOR FEAR OF BEING BLOWN UP AND WANTS TO GET RID OF IT. *TR
