While traveling in heavy traffic my kicks went into limp mode and all front crash sensors were illuminated. I was stuck on a busy interstate. Took car to dealer they stated it was the ECM, they replace it under warranty. I had the car back 5 days and it did it again in heavy traffic. The first thing it does is cuts out then 30 sec later back in limo mode All the same sensors everything. Took the car back now they say the alternator is starting to fail. And this part is not covered under warranty. Now I'm paying for something I truly don't believe is a problem especially when the computer readout they showed me continues to point to the front sensors. I travel for work every day and this car makes me feel very unsafe as I travel busy highways I now feel I have to plan for this to happen and how am I going to get off the highway to a safe location, with construction it is very scary at times. This vehicle is starting to interfere with my job. I have voluntarily surrender the vehicle back to the bank, I have been unable to trade it in because I owe too much on it. And they don't want to deal with the issues it's been having.

I have had several issues with my check engine light popping on and off, I have also had my car brake by itself while going 65/70 MPH on the interstate twice almost causing two rear end collisions, the lights go haywire, the car does not want to accelerate

I have 2 issues. 1. The forward collision light has come on for no apparent reason. This has happened 4 times in the last 2-3 months. The car doesn't do anything with this issue other then the warning indicator. 2. The automatic braking system has activated for no apparent reason. This has happened 3 times. In two cases, it was just a quick short braking event then the car went back to normal driving. I don't recall speeds for these, but they were not interstate speeds. The third event was at highway speeds, about 65-70. The car broke very hard for 2-3 seconds. Scared me to death because no one was around me. I'm concerned about this happening again when someone is behind me.

Transmission went out with no warning

Transmission is defective by design. Fails in an unsafe manner which leaves the vehicle in a fully driving state throwing no error codes. The car however with randomly loose traction and slip while driving at roughly 40 mph. Nissan refused to address the issue without ~$8k to replace the transmission and online articles suggest these are defective and will just break again soon after replacing.

Transmission failed before the car reaching 15,000 miles. The car dealership replaced the transmission after two week in the shop. They did not provide a loner car so I was without a car for 2 weeks. After the car was worked and the new transmission installed, it was given back to me. Today 12/16 I had to take it back to the dealership because it’s giving a check engine indication. The dealership informed it is a known issue with this cars but I haven’t seen any recalls. Today, my car has no warranty since it expired. This is unacceptable.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2020 Nissan Kicks. The contact discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 98,000 and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 108,000.

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Kicks. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle jolted with several warning lights flashing. The “See Owner’s Manual” message was displayed. The contact stated that the failure had become a recurring failure. Additionally, the contact stated that the heater, radio, and remote start occasionally failed to operate as designed. The contact stated that the radio would stop functioning whenever the accelerator pedal was depressed. The heater temperature would not respond to the controls and would operate at full heat, while the remote start function was inoperable. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer, where the dealer could not verify the cause of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The contact stated while stopped at a traffic signal, a truck with a snow plow came up on the driver's side of the vehicle where a corner of the plow crashed into the passenger rear driver-side door, and then crashed into the driver's side door. The corner of the plow had torn a gash through the passenger door. The contact stated that both the rear passenger and driver's door glass had shattered. The driver's door was crushed but had not been penetrated by the corner of the plow. The contact had suffered cuts and bruises on his left arm, with a partial tear of his rotator cuff of his left shoulder. The contact stated that he was concussed. The contact was transported by ambulance to an ER. The police were on the scene and filed a report. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The contact stated that the side air bags had not deployed or any other air bags in the vehicle. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure and had sent a manufacturer investigator to inspect the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000. The VIN was not available.

SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE

Over a period of 3 days leading up to the braking incident the Collison warning came on periodically when there was no need, the sensor on the dash on the left,right and front of the vehicle image went yellow, the Malfunction light came on and the Collison warning with no cars around. On the November 9th, 2023 I got the collison warning (looks like 2 cars)and it went away. However that day I was pulling forward from a green light and as I was through the intersection the car suddenly braked stopping the car and a red square appeared on the dash with a letter in it - not sure what it was as I was trying to ensure I was not going to be rear-ended. I was the first car from the light so there was no car ahead of me and no reason for the car to brake and stop. The car behind reacted and went around me avoiding a rear-end collison- Lucky for us. I cautiously continued home and parked and did not drive the car except to the dealer for them to check. Their initial response was bad battery and I'm still waiting. I am afraid to drive this car. What if that was at higher speeds on a highway and a larger behind us. Would we have survived. I don't think so.

For over a year now the forward collision warning light just flashes at random times as I am going down the road (I've taken numerous photos). I've taken it to Downtown Nashville Nissan to have it fixed (under warranty) and they say it has to be flashing when I bring it in. But they have shown me computer read-outs on when it has activated (gone off). They refuse to change the sensor. NOW - twice (04/21/22 and 04/23/22) as I'm driving 70mph down the center lane of the interstate - the sensor activates, this big red triangle flashes up, an alarm goes of and it slams on the brakes. Thank goodness no one has been behind me either time and it only last for a moment (it thinks a pedestrian is crossing in front of me). Cannot get a reply from Nissan.

The front collision sensor light comes on three to four times a week without any cars or objects in front of the car. The car speed is below 30 miles when it comes on too. This coincides with the Braking system to kick in and slow down the car. It is risky for us to drive when the car woul brake suddenly with no collision danger in front of us. We haven't taken the car to a dealer yet, but planning to if the issue persists for further inspection. The issue started 2 months or so ago. We have recorded a video of the issues that we can share if needed. Thanks!

I am the owner of the vehicle but my daughter was the driver and I am making the complaint on her behalf but she can provide additional details. The vehicle began making a grinding sound at times that sounds similar to the anti-lock braking. Then on Oct 29 the vehicle locked down the brakes as she was pulling into the parking lot at work when there was not a collision imminent. She skidded into the curb damaging her front driver side wheel. We took the vehicle to the Dick Smith Nissan dealer in Lexington SC but they told us they couldn't reproduce the failure and recommended we bring it back if it happened again. We went to pick up the vehicle but before leaving with the car I drove the car around the parking lot and the forward collision light came on in under a minute. They immediately took the car back to service to read the code and asked if we could leave the vehicle with them. They called back after a day or two and said they have no repair and recommended we contact Nissan Consumer Affairs and start a case. We started a case on 11/5/2021 and the case number is 45086982.

I purchased the used vehicle in March and I have had an intermittent check engine light (p0101 code), my forward collision warning lights and traction control lights come on and my car brakes like I was in an emergency braking situation. Since the second day of owning the car. I've had it in the shop more than 5 times. They have not found the issue. I've been told there is nothing wrong so even with my extended warranty I'm unable to have this issue repaired. All these lights come on together and leave together. This is dangerous because stopping suddenly on the highway could result in me getting killed. I haven't found a tsb or recall but according to multiple nissan forums this is happening to hundreds of 2019 -2021 Kicks owners. This happened again yesterday and scared me. I can't afford another car right now. I just want this one to be repaired properly before it's too late. This morning no lights or check engine light present.

My crash sensor started to go off on the freeway 2 years ago about . I took it to the dealership they replaced the sensor then it happened again about a year later . I'm having the same issue again it goes off and there's no cars around me it will go off when i'm parked it wont let me go in reverse. I have to turn my car off and wait about 10-15 min and turn it back on. My other problem is my driver side door wont lock or unlock it the key fob and by the power button on the door. I have to manually lock and unlock the door this has been going on for about 2 months . I havent taken it to the dealer ship yet for the door issue yet.

I took my car in for service again for the 9th or more time due to the sonar alerts activating without reason. The AEB would alert and chime for no reason as well as the forward collision warning for no reason. The car also chimed consistently when backing up and stalled when nothing was behind me or in the vicinity for this alert to go on. This has been a constant issue with this car. I purchased it brand new on Feb 29, 2020 and I believe they sold me a LEMON. I took my car to Vacaville Nissan on Feb 3rd, 2022 to service advisor [XXX] who has been the Advisor throughout. [XXX] notified me FEB 3rd, 2022 that unfortunately when they ran diagnostic, their are issues with the car and he said there are over 12k RED NISSAN KICKS with the same issue. [XXX] told me, it is under Engineering review as their is nothing available yet to fix it. [XXX] said, they have done all they could and he would contact me in a Month when something will hopefully be available. This is unfair, I am driving a vehicle that is unsafe and unpredictable. While driving all the lights come on with a warning that states "malfunction see owners manual" dealership said it needed a battery, replaced the battery and all the lights continues to come on. ABS, crash lights, check engine and other ones. Along with the high beam lights. Can't turn them off without pulling over and restarting the car.

BOUGHT 2020 KICKS. IT HAS AN SERIOUS ISSUE REGULATING TEMPERATURE. IT SEEMS THIS CAR HAS A BLEND DOOR ISSUE THAT DOES NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO HAVE THE TEMP SET AT AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL FOR COMFORT. ITS EITHER TOO COLD OR TOO HOT. 60-62 DEGREES ITS COLD, MOVE TO 63 AND UP AND ITS HOT?? IN ANY OF Y OTHER CARS ANYTHING AT 68 AND BELOW IS COOL TO COLD. THIS IS BORDERING ON HAVING DRIVERS BEING CONSTANTLY DISTRACTED BY HAVING TO MANUALLY ADJUST THE TEMP REPEATEDLY TO MAINTAIN COMFORTABLE LEVELS. Car will shut off on its own when sitting at a red light will get a message showing the word MALFUNCTION, will restart after several attempts of pressing the start button. Has been taken to the dealer and reported and documented on my service receipt but they could not duplicate the problem and stated car was at specs. This has now happened 4 times in the last 2 weeks.

THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS 5700 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. EVER SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN JUNE OF 2020, INTERMITTENTLY THE CAR WILL IDLE ROUGH AT STOP LIGHTS. WHEN IT HAPPENS IT IS USUALLY AFTER DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY FOR 20 OR 30 MINUTES. ON OCTOBER 17, 2020 AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR ON THE HIGHWAY THE CAR IDLED ROUGH AT THE FIRST STOP LIGHT I ENCOUNTERED THEN DIED. I RESTARTED IT THEN IT PROMPTLY DIED AGAIN. AFTER THE SECOND RESTART THERE WERE NO OTHER PROBLEMS. TOOK THE CAR INTO THE DEALER ON MONDAY 10/19/20. THEY KEPT IT FOR 3 DAYS AND NEVER COULD DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THEY DID REPROGRAM THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE THAT WAS UNDER RECALL. HOPING MAYBE THIS RESOLVES THE PROBLEM.

I WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD, AND MY CAR WAS SITTING AT A RED LIGHT, THE CAR JUST STOPS AND WILL NOT MOVE. I ALMOST CAUSED A VERY BAD ACCIDENT AS THERE WAS CARS BEHIND ME. I TURNED IT OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND THEN IT ALL OF SUDDEN WORKED AGAIN. THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION AND I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA BE IN A ACCIDENT.

I bought the car on Memorial Day and left the dealership with a full tank. That Friday, June 4, 2021, I drive my car to NYC for a meeting. My gas tank was very low when I arrived and I only had 1 mile until empty. I went to the gas station and the fuel door would not open. There is no manual release for the fuel door. I had no tools in the car and was stuck at the gas station. I waited for Nissan emergency from 10:42 to 3pm. They were able to get it open and I filled the tank and immediately drove back to MD. On 6/6 I brought it back to the dealer and was told it was a manufacturer error.

I PURCHASED A 2020 NISSAN KICKS WITH 11 MILES ON 1/1/20. THE CAR BEGAN SHAKING AND STALLING WHEN STOPPED IN TRAFFIC, AND AT LIGHTS ON 1/10/20, WITH 250 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. AFTER 3 SERVICE APPOINTMENTS, TAKING PICTURES AND USING THE EVENT RECORDER AS INSTRUCTED, I WAS INFORMED ON 3/5/20, THERE IS CURRENTLY NO FIX FOR THIS KICKS, ENGINEERS ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, AND THEY WILL CONTACT ME WHEN AN UPDATE IS AVAILABLE THAT MAY RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. ,THIS VEHICLE HAS STALLED OUT 19 TIMES AS OF 3/9/20, WITH 2039 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHERE I PURCHASED AND SERVICED THE VEHICLE COULD NOT REPAIR AND WOULD NOT REPLACE THE VEHICLE, AFTER 3 VISITS TOTALING 9 DAYS IN THE SHOP WITHIN THE FIRST 60 DAYS OF PURCHASE, I HAVE BEEN DIRECTED TO FOLLOW UP WITH NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS WITH MY CONCERNS. NISSAN WILL BE SENDING AN ENGINEER TO FURTHER INSPECT THE VEHICLE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS. CONCERN: THE VEHICLE SHAKES/SHUDDERS AND/OR SHUTS DOWN WHILE DRIVING IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, STOPPING AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND SIGNS, AND ALSO WHEN STOPPING TO PARK. DURING THESE EVENTS THE VEHICLE IS IN DRIVE, WITH BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED. NO WARNING LIGHTS APPEAR ON THE DASH DISPLAY EXCEPT THE BATTERY AND OIL LIGHT AFTER THE ENGINE HAS STALLED. EACH EVENT HAS BEEN RESOLVED BY PLACING VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND RESTARTING THE ENGINE. THE EVENTS ARE INCONSISTENT/UNPREDICTABLE, HAVING OCCURRED TWICE IN THE SAME MILE, OR UP TO 358 MILES BETWEEN EVENTS; ALSO HAVING OCCURRED 0-4 TIMES EVERY 0-10 DAYS.

The sensor lights constantly come on and then the engine light comes on. When I got the engine light read, it says I need a new mass airflow sensor. I have replaced this sensor 3 times now and the air filter, the same issue is occurring over and over again. Every sensor light comes on and the car starts to decelerate while you are driving making it difficult to press the gas or accelerate to a higher speed.

The collision warning lights randomly come on, the vehicle loses power suddenly. If I was trying to merge or go on the interstate and suddenly my vehicle loses power while thinking I have enough distance and can accelerate safely but my vehicle just loses power other drivers wouldn’t be able to stop while I was pretty much stuck.

The engine harness and electrical wiring have caused the entire vehicle to lose signal. This issue has cause my.car to stall and not accelerate while driving. Entire lights on dashboard come one and vehicle is unable to accerlerate. Vehicle is currently at the dealer and that is the tecnicians conclusion. No signs before aside from dashboard lights turning on. Vehicle was taken to DMV soon after.

All of my safety light came on dash. ABS, front end collision, back up, skid, lane assist as well as ABS. Took car in paid 6,000 for the lane assist as well as ABS car worked for only one month before it would not back up nor would it accelerate after it finally got to drive. All lights came back on and now it’s another 2100 for throttle body and MAF and sonar control unit. Car is very unstable and un-drivable.

I was driving and needed to come to a stop because there was a four-way stop sign, and the brakes didn’t work. The pedal went all the way to the floor and even though I pumped the brakes, it wouldn’t stop. This is the second incident where this happens. I checked the brake pads and fluid everything is good. No warning lights come on when this happens. So the mechanic says they cannot check and see what’s wrong with it because no lights come on.

I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden the automatic brake activated. There were two icons that lit up on the dashboard. One of them was a triangle with an! In the middle and the other one look like a collision. However, there was no one next to me. I did not hit anyone. I called the dealership as I just bought this car last week and they said that this car is usually very sensitive. However, I have been in traffic since purchasing the car and never did this happen. I am very scared that this will happen again. I am very scared that I may have purchased a lemon and they are not telling me.

The car gives me warning signals. All the warnings display on my screen and then the car doesn’t advance. It has happened several times and I’ve been put in danger since I live in San Antonio TX and there’s always traffic. I’ve called the dealer and they just tell that there’s no recalls for that vehicle. A lady that works at the same company I do has had the save issue. I searched online and many others are having the same issue. Also I purchased a code scanner which tells me it’s the mass air flow sensor and I replaced it but the issue persists. The vehicles electrical system will go out mid drive. Front collision and rear collision sensor will turn off. Also the traction control will turn off with the other sensors going out. Plus the transmission while it’s sensors are going out will make it unable to pull out either forward or reverse.

Car acceleration delayed. Batteries dying and needing replaced regularly. Needs constant jump starts. Will not accelerate or move in the snow. Does not stop in emergencies. The vehicle was bought brand new and I have had bad luck with the Nissan kicks 2020 since purchasing it.

Motor issues constant ticking noise the motor is making looks like Nissan is not wanting to cover powertrain warranty looks like upper part of motor has issues and could stop working at anytime especially on a busy highway.

By the vehicle slowing in the manner that it did, could have caused the traffic following the vehicle to come to an abrupt stop resulting in a rear end collision. * The vehicle is currently at the Larry Miller Nissan for inspection and diagnostics * Check engine light illuminated seconds before the vehicle stalled there were no other indicators of distress such as burning smells or leaking fluids prior to the incident.

VEHICLE KEEPS SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING, EVEN ON MAJOR HIGHWAY. VENT CONTROL VALVE WAS STUCK OPEN HAD TO BE REPLACED; CORROSION ON A CONNECTOR TO THE WIRING HARNESS HAD TO BE REPLACED. ALOT OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS AND THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE. All the dashboard lights on. It's a hazards it's to risky it won't start sometimes it leaves us on the side of the road. Sometimes we have to tow it.4

I own a 2020 Nissan Kicks and have experienced recurring and unpredictable electrical and system malfunctions while driving. At times, a "Malfunction, see owner's manual" warning appears on the dashboard, accompanied by multiple warning lights including: Forward collision warning Slippery road / traction control warning. Occasionally, the high beam headlights turn on by themselves, and I have noticed that the malfunction also leads to the engine stalling when I switch to reverse to park my car. These warnings appear randomly, about a few times a month, while driving under normal conditions. The issue usually resolves temporarily after restarting the vehicle, but this raises serious concerns about the reliability of key safety systems such as traction control, collision avoidance, and issues with the engine itself. On several occasions, the check engine light (CEL) accompanied these other warning lights during the "malfunction" and the CEL remained on even after a restart. A diagnostic scan revealed P0101 (Mass Air Flow Sensor Performance issue). However, when I had the vehicle inspected at a Nissan dealership, the technicians stated that the MAF sensor and related systems were operating correctly, and they could not identify a specific mechanical issue. Despite that, the CEL and other malfunctions continue to occur intermittently. They were also not able to recreate the situation I explained with the malfunction since it occurs at random times. This issue has happened multiple times and creates uncertainty about whether the vehicle is safe to operate. I have found numerous reports online from other Nissan Kicks owners experiencing the same combination of issues (P0101, engine stalling, random warning lights, and vehicle malfunctions that reset upon restart). I have attached a repair invoice from the dealership. Just recently on 6/22, this happened again as I was driving at night. When I went to park my car, the engine stalled again. 1. MAF Sensor replaced 3 times within a few months of replacing each time. (took it to the Nissan Dealership multiple times and all they do is replace it without further diagnosing as to why) 2. Replaced the Transmission in March 2025 (Nissan wanted to charge me ($8300.00). I took it to Glen Burnie Transmission ($5708.00) 3. Replaced the Alternator on 7 June 2025. 4. Vehicle has been hesitating and stalling while driving. 5. Vehicle doesn't want to start when I push the button and put my foot on the brake pedal. 6. Power Steering issues (the steering wheel goes loose at times when I make turns or while trying to back up and then the vehicle stalls and then accelerates on it's own. 7. Vehicle is making a clicking sound. *Vehicle is currently at Firestone being diagnosed for the issues 4-7 mentioned above. *I stopped taking it to Nissan because they charge way to much for these issues that seem to be a constant issue but won't due any recalls on the 2020 Kicks. Vehicle purchased in May 2020. I will have to provide the repair receipts once I get the vehicle back from Firestone because all of the documents are in the vehicle.

The transmission control module or, (TCM), is the system that failed and or malfunctioned and it is available for inspection upon request of the company. The safety of myself and my husband was put at risk when this component failed and the vehicle would not move forward in traffic. Yes the problem has been reproduced and confirmed, NOT by a dealer, but by myself. No the component has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or other representatives with the Nissan Co.. Yes there were warning lamps such as the check engine light no messages and no other symptoms of the problem prior to its failure. The issue first appeared last week of February 2025 so, from my perspective, just last week. 02/25/2025 was date of incident.

The security alert is damage. All the lights in the dash panel are red. According to Nissan (NSSK San Juan LLC) they mention the problem is due to the ABS Module. They have quoted a total cost of $3,397 for labor and parts($2,997.43), same recalled made for other Nissans.

The LDW sensors do not function and Nissan tells me it would cost 2300.00 to fix the problem. After researching, I find that this is a common, known problem with this make, model and year of vehicle. I feel that NHSTA should get Nissan to issue a recall.

They have replaced the transmission two times and this transmission is going bad, it's slipping, shuddering, and hesitating when you hit the gas. This car is a death trap waiting to happen. Nissan knows they put junk transmissions in these cars but still sells them. Nissan is going to end up hurting/killing a lot of innocent lives. It's not safe to be driving this car around, half the time the car doesn't want to go when you hit the gas. My daughter turns 16 and will not be driving this death trap. Nissan needs to recall the 2020 Nissan Kicks SV transmissions too. I do have all the paperwork from the transmissions being put it. I get the run around with the dealer. The vibration issue and they say it'll do that at 90. The collision light is ALWAYS coming on (I have pictures of that too)

The contact owns a 2020 Nissan Kick. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at approximately 20-25 MPH and attempting to make a left turn, the vehicle suddenly lost control causing the vehicle to go straight across the road instead of completing the left turn. The vehicle crashed into 2 mailboxes before it came to a stop. The passenger side wheel bent outward causing the passenger side fender to lodge into the door. The driver-side wheel had turned in the opposite direction. The passenger side axle detached from the transmission. The lower ball joint detached from the lower control arm and the sway bar had fractured The air bags did not deploy. The mailboxes were damaged. The contact received bruising to their abdominal area. No medical attention was received. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a repair center where the passenger side axle, passenger side lower control arm, and both front wheels and rims were replaced. Several sensors associated with the front of the vehicle, the bumper, the fender, the passenger side headlight assembly, struts, and suspension were all replaced as well. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 22,485.

I purchased a Nissan Kicks 2020 7 weeks ago. Yesterday while at a stop light, the engine shut off and then the battery and oil light popped on. This was extremely dangerous as I was on a busy highway and had to panic on what to do. I ended up having to put it in park and cut it back on. After researching this online, I have found other people are having the exact same issue. I checked for a recall and see NONE! How has there not been a recall? I had my three children in the car with me (one being a newborn) and was scared to death!

Since I got the kicks in May of this year 2022 I have had multiple incidents where the lights for the sensors come on out of nowhere and it shows 3 messages for .sensor malfunction. They popped on again a few days ago and now the check engine light is on and the code it's showing is main air flow sensor failure. That sensor from what I have been told should last a long time. I have had it 7 months and it's only 2 years old. I change the air filter every oil change and with the sensor failed it won't drive proper causing a safety hazard for me and my children.

When driving 50mph - 70 mph the Forward Collision Warning will engage and the emergency brakes will engage. The car will come to a stop. This has happened while on the highway and crashes were barely avoided. It has injured my back with the sudden stop. Today 12/8 it happened again and both the Forward Collision Warning and Rear Collision Warning engaged, the car stopped from going 68 mph on the highway, and the car disabled my traction control.

P 205 / 60 /16 1. Driving on the surface road in Atlanta, and without warning the sidewall of the Firestone FT 140 failed (see picture). 2. The 2020 Nissan Kicks only had 21,100 miles on the car at the time of the incident 3. There is no puncture in the tread and I have the tire in my possession and would be happy to may the tire available for inspection by an NHTSA representative. 4. I did NOT feel safe with the other 3 (inherently the same tire, as it was OEM) tires I had them replaced as a precaution. I bought my New 2020 in February and I have already had to have it serviced 7 or more times, due to electrical issues. The Automatic Electrical Braking system comes on, even though nothing is in front of me when I am driving, also, the Collision alert comes on as well during the same time, even though no cars are in front me to warrant a possible collision. I am very nervous driving my car. I dont know what else to do. Nissan has ran diagnostics and found the issues with sonar and other possibilities, they replaced the system and while it ran ok for a while, it is currently experiencing the same electrical issues. I have not been able to take it in again because I have a bad knee. I need help, I truly believe I was sold a Lemon!

Sensor that states there has been a malfunction in the front braking system comes on randomly. The AEB system also stops the car at random times when nothing is in the road, good weather, sometimes going 75mph on the highway. Same thing has also happened driving in a parking garage or down a main road. I have also been in cruise control on the highway and this braking system comes on. I thought it was an isolated incident but it has happened at least 6 times. The date below only reflects the most recent incident.
