Stalling on Highway, hesitation at lights. Engine Light came on. Signals transmission codes P0776 and Judder P17F1. Consider this a defective part by Nissan. This should be covered by Nissan as a Transmission Recall. NHTSA, this is unacceptable someone could be seriously hurt, or fatality could happen due to a defective transmission.

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to accelerate, the vehicle briefly hesitated and failed to accelerate as expected. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the continuously variable transmission. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 83,000.

When I was driving my 2017 Nissan rogue sport it was jerking forward as I was driving with no other issues show before. I took it to the mechanic and they pulled the transmission fluid and it was dark and smelly. The check engine light came on and I was told not to drive it. With further research I have found that others were having this issue as was advised to make a report about it to assure safety for other people.

The transmission would not go when the gas pedal was pressed. This happened at least 3 times since I’ve owned this vehicle. I was making a left hand turn crossing traffic and the vehicle would not go with oncoming cross traffic. This last time was a close call and my son was in the front passenger seat. Problem can not be reproduced on demand. It randomly happens and throws no codes or check engine light. The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealership and independent shop. No warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to or after failure. After a few seconds of unresponsiveness the transmission will begin to work correctly again. By the time I get it to a shop nothing seems wrong with it.

My vehicle’s engine will shut off while driving and I don’t know what the cause is. There are no vehicle warnings such as a check engine light to let me know a problem exists. I am terrified that my car will shut off with my child and his friends in the car.

I reported to my dealer that my 2017 rogue sport has been overheating and they stated that they were aware of an issue with the radiator fan. The car will be fine while driving, but if idle or in stop and go traffic, the engine will overheat. I am unable to use my car without fearing for it, shaking and overheating during warm weather if I am not constantly driving.

A/C Dual Compressor fan went out - causing the car to overheat. Nissan Rogue Sport 2017 with 52K miles. Apparently this is a known issue that many Nissan Rogue users experience with the fan breaking on low mileage vehicles. Rogue Sport 2017, 52K miles: The A/C was not blowing and I took it into Firestone where they said it was a weak air compressor (this shouldn't be the case on a low mileage car). A week later the hood started smoking and upon inspection the coolant level was 1/4 tank and the engine malfunction light was on. I took it to and independent service center, Bass Auto (Nolensville Road, Nashville TN) and they said it was NOT SAFE to drive (engine can overheat and catch fire) due to a Radiator Coolant Fan (part # 214816MA0B or 214816MA0A) and that they have had to fix many of the these. The fan is responsible for blowing the cold air from the AC and keeping the engine cool so poses risk of engine failure. Looking at Reddit and facebook groups there are many people that have this issue on low mileage Rogue/Rogue Sports (Years 2017 - 2020) and there is a class action lawsuit that was filed in the State of Tennessee for this issue (XXX et al vs. Nissan - link below). about a year after I had the car (2019), the A/C went out. We fixed it at the Nissan dealership. Periodically, the engine would stop when I went reversed. This mainly happened in the summer. About two years ago, the A/C went out again. I noticed both the stalling in reverse and the A/C not working (not sure if related). The engine stalled and smoke came out of the engine. We fixed the engine--basically saying that it was an A/C issue. Last year during the summer months, the same thing happened. We again, fixed the A/C. This year, it happened again.

--This vehicle had a serious problem with the Roof Wiring Harness that, according to the dealer, could have caused a fire. Attached is a copy of invoice 258752: Cost to repair was $1,952.06. The initial symptoms were malfunctioning map and visor vanity lights and they first appeared about March 2024 --This exact same problem was the subject of a recall for 2017 Rogues. However, for some reason, the recall did not extend to the "Sport" models. Since this was the exact same dangerous condition that resulted in a recall and repaired at no cost that was covered by the recall, the recall should be extended to the "Sport" model. I also wanted to alert you to problem that probably exits in all "Sport" model that could also endanger the owners of those vehicle. --I contacted Nissan (case #51188260) on April 24, 2024 and they denied our claim for reimbursement since the "Sport" model was not included in the recall. Clearlyly, all Nissan Rogue models should have been covered by the recall --The initial symptoms were malfunctioning map and vanity lights which appeared in March, 2024.

Every day when I turn on my car my dash screen doesn’t work. There’s no back up camera, radio, nothing. I have to either wait five minutes or stop the car and manually reboot the system.

My Rogue Sport has less than 35k mileage. While I was driving yesterday my radio sputtered then the whole screen (radio, backup camera, clock) went completely dark and a large amount of smoke came from in the cabin of the vehicle and the smell of electrical burning. I immediately pulled over thinking the whole car was going to catch on fire, turned the radio to the off position and rolled down the windows. I waited approximately 5 minutes and thought if it was going to catch fire it would have done so. The smoke took a long time to dissipate and the smell of electrical is still in my car. There was no warning. I will be scheduling an appointment with the dealer to try and get additional details. Prior to this there was no indication there was a problem.

Nissan - started with delay acceleration while driving. Called our mechanic to set up appointment to see what was going on. When going to put the car in reverse to leave, the car floored forward and just missed hitting our house and electrical box! We were unable to get the vehicle to reverse, all gears brought the vehicle forward. We had to put in neutral gear and push the car backwards in order to drive down to our mechanic to have it looked at. Our local mechanic said the transmission needed to be replaced.. upon looking to see if this issue was reported by other consumers with a Nissan rogue sport; several complaints documented online of vehicle acceleration issues, especially on a highway and safety concerns. Seems that the transmission is an issue that needs to be addressed before someone is hurt or a crash occurs in our case our house almost being hit. I would like to report this issue with the 2017 Nissan rogue sports as a safety concern. My vehicle has under 100,000 miles and should not need a new transmission or have this safety arise is very concerning and I am looking for a resolution and coverage to fix this flaw with the transmission.

The transmission is bad and need to be replaced. I called destination nissan and they said even though the age and milleage of the car is below the warranty limity , my warranty expire 2023. The employee then told me those transmission (ctr) are bad and I am lucky I got the amount of time I did out of it because sometimes the transmission go bad after 5 years. That prompt me to file a complaint because people should not buy nissan rouges , have a monthly payment and in a few years have to pay a 6 to 8k bill. Also it is not safe. My car start to stutter on the road going toward a highway.

This only happens in cold weather. The engine shuts off when coming to a stop. Once the Rpm’s get to 1 when braking the car bucks and then stalls out. I have had this car a few years and every winter it does the same thing. I have taken it to a local mechanic who could not identify where the problem is coming from. I have read that others have a similar issue, but no remedy.

I was driving my car and in the middle of me driving it completely stalled out in the middle of the road. I was lucky enough to hurry and put it in park before my brakes and gas locked on me. I turned the car off and turned it back on but was unsuccessful in getting the car to do anything except for drift back into traffic. I was stranded in the middle of the road and needed triple A to come and help. It completely stalled out.

The Air Bag Light on the instrument panel came on for no reason. I took the vehicle to the dealership. I had to pay for a reset to have been done. There were 2 or 3 codes that came up. I was told and the paperwork said that the technician resolved the problem. I went to start the vehicle and the instrument panel light was off for the air bag and I have 2 new issues. The seat belt light is on and now after 10 seconds, the passenger airbag light goes from yellow to off as someone is sitting in the seat. The only way that the seatbelt light clears off of my instrument panel is by buckling the passenger side seatbelt. The dealership said that the issue had to be called into a tech higher-up. I never have received an answer. I had the codes programmed in and taken out and the original issue still exists I don't know if all airbags are not working as my instrument panel airbag light is on and don't actually know if the passenger side is actually working or not.

AIR BAGLIGHT ON DASH IS ON AND PASSENGER AIRBAGS HAVE BEEN OFF. THE FIRST CORRECTION TO THIS WAS WHEN I BOUGHT MY CAR 4 YEARS AGO AND LAST WEEK THE RED LIGHT CAME ON AND THE PASSENGER OFF SIGN. IT HAS BEEN FAULTY FOR A WHILE WAS WELL I HAVE HAD IT REPAIRED BY NISSAN FIRST THE 988 CIBTROLLER ASSY OCCUPANT SEN , NOW THEY WANT TO PUT A SEAT TRACK/SENDOR AND TRACK FRAME ASSEMPLYAS WELL AS AN OCC SENSOR CONTROL UNIT. I FEEL THE AIRBAG SYSTEM IN THIS CAR HAS NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY AND IS UNSAFE FOR ANY PASSENGER IN MY CAR. The passenger airbag sensor on my dashboard has been on constantly even if the seat is empty for two years and has been passing inspection. However, for some odd reason, my car failed inspection this year due to the airbag light. It costs over $2200 to fix. My Altima also has this issue. Nissan needs to recall this issue. It’s becoming a common problem with your cars.

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sports. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the vehicle failed to accelerate immediately. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle approximately four times before being able to start the vehicle and accelerate as needed. The contact used Google to research the failure and linked the failure to the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The contact became aware of how to reset the vehicle and pressed the parking brake, placed the vehicle in drive and then accelerated to drive the vehicle. After arriving to the residence, the contact attempted to reverse to park the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to reverse. The check engine warning light was illuminated. After repeating the reset procedure, the contact was able to start and drive the vehicle however, the vehicle was lagging while driving at slower speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered to pay half the cost of the repair. The failure mileage was 37,400.

My emergency breaking system breaks on its own this has been happening since I got the car I went back to the dealership a few months later and they didn’t help me in the slightest I have been turning the breaking system off everyday for years and I shouldn’t have to do that I am paying a loan on a car that is going to kill me… I forgot to turn it off the other day and I stopped when I was going 60 MPH this is unsafe and unreasonable for Nissan to not assist me by either taking this out of the car, giving me a new car or reimbursing me. This car is going to kill me.

Since 2017 car has had issues with toward collision warning and cvt and inaccurate odometer information. There could be no car anround and randomly warning comes out throughout the whole drive and times randomly un safety brakes. CVT transmission constantly hesitates on highway and main roads and has gotten worst over time. I took it to the dealership months after purchasing to see what could be done. They could not find anything . I continue to take it to other places only to find out that the transmission CVT has issues or not just this vehicle but most Nissan rogues sports. Recalls about it the cvt has been reported but nothing has been done.

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while entering and starting the vehicle, after two minutes the contact noticed black smoke coming from underneath the hood of the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle and noticed a puddle of radiator fluid leaking from underneath the vehicle. The contact called the emergency road safety insurance and the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who inspected the vehicle and diagnosed a failure with the cooling fan malfunction. The contact was informed that the cooling fan needed to be replaced however, the part was no longer being manufactured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 36,000.

However the part is not available and my car has been in the dealership for a month now. This was a faulty car and I have never been in a accident. I HAVE EXPERIENCED, AT LEAST 10 TIMES AS OF 9/12/2020, THE LATEST INSTANCE BEING YESTERDAY 9/11/2020, A LACK OF RESPONSE WHEN ACCELERATING. EVERY INSTANCE OCCURRED AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP, NO ROLLING STOPS WERE AFFECTED. SOME OF THE TIMES IT WAS REALLY HOT (95 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT), BUT OTHER TIMES IT WAS 65-70 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT. SOME OF THE INSTANCES WERE RIGHT AFTER I TURNED THE CAR ON AND NEEDED TO STOP AND THEN GO, OTHER INSTANCES WERE AFTER DRIVING FOR 30 MINUTES OR MORE. I WOULD PRESS THE GAS PEDAL TO DRIVE AND THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE CAR, I.E.NO FORWARD MOTION, NO RPMS, NO REVVING OF THE ENGINE. I WOULD THEN LET THE GAS PEDAL COME UP AND THEN PRESS THE GAS PEDAL DOWN AGAIN TO ACCELERATE. IN SOME OF THE INSTANCES, THE SECOND PRESS OF THE GAS PEDAL WOULD MAKE THE CAR GO. MOST OF THE INSTANCES NEEDED A THIRD VERY FAST COMPLETELY TO THE FLOOR PRESS OF THE GAS PEDAL IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TO MOVE. SOME OF THE INSTANCES WERE WHILE I WAS JUST SITTING AT A RED LIGHT WAITING TO GO, OTHERS WERE WHEN I NEEDED TO STOP TO MAKE A LEFT TURN (WHICH BECAME QUITE DANGEROUS VERY FAST). NONE OF THE INSTANCES HAPPENED WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY OR WHILE CHANGING SPEEDS WHILE DRIVING. ALL INSTANCES HAPPENED ON SUBURBAN ROADS WHILE RUNNING ERRANDS OR GOING TO AND FROM WORK OR PEOPLE'S HOUSES. THERE DID NOT APPEAR TO BE ANY ELECTRICAL ISSUES WHEN THESE INSTANCES HAPPENED, THE RADIO AND LIGHTS STILL WORKED CORRECTLY WITHOUT ANY HESITATION. THERE WERE NO LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD ALERTING ME TO ANY CODES BEING GIVEN BY THE ENGINE. I AM REALLY UNSURE OF WHAT THE CAUSE IS, AND THE MECHANICS COULD NOT REPLICATE IT TO LOOK INTO ANYTHING. AFTER A FEW INSTANCES OF THIS, AND IN TALKING TO SOME OF MY CAR FRIENDS, IT COULD BE A THROTTLE RESPONSE ISSUE OR MAYBE A GUMMED UP VALVE IN THE FUEL SYSTEM SOMEWHERE. I REALLY DON'T KNOW.

VEHICLE FAILS TO ACCELERATE UP TO SPEED, GET ON TO HIGHWAY VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO OVER 60MPH, THEN WHEN TRAFFIC SLOWED FOR ACCIDENT, VEHICLE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 40MPH ALMOST CAUSING ANOTHER ACCIDENT. HAVE FOUND NUMEROUS OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON DIFFERENT FORUMS, SOME WITH MUCH WORSE DESCRIPTIONS. DEALER STATES THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH EVENTS, WHICH HAS TO BE FALSE. THEY ARE STATING IT IS SOME SENSOR IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY OF COURSE CAUSE NOTHING IS! JUST SO UNHAPPY, FIRST NEW VEHICLE PURCHASED, THREE YEARS OLD AND SO VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CHOICE, WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANY NISSAN VEHICLE AGAIN. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CONSUMER SAFETY!

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport. The contact stated that upon entering and closing the door, the message "Door Ajar" was displayed. The dome lights failed to turn off. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who determined there was a failure with the electrical system for the crumple zone; the occupant sensor, ignition, and that the voltage was low. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 167,000.

Component failed: CVT Available for inspection: yes 2019 - Vehicle stopped responding when pulling out of my driveway. My car was going backwards and I had no control. I had to turn vehicle off and on again to fix this. Had inspection and diagnostics at Nissan dealership. They reprogrammed engine control. 2020 - Vehicle was at stop light and started shaking. Then it stopped moving. I had to restart it. Had inspection done at dealership. Found no issue. 2023 - notified about recall, but when contacting dealership they said there was no recall. 2025 - When driving on highway car started slowing down. Hesitates and struggles to accelerate. This was dangerous because speed limit was 65mph, but my car was struggling to go 40mph. Started making loud noise when trying to accelerate. Took to mechanic, and found out this is issue with CVT, referred to service bulletin reference number NTB18-077b. Recommended going to dealership as service bulletin has been out since 10/2019. Again received communication there is recall for my Nissan Rogue sport. Called Nissan dealership and they stated there is no recall. I have appointment diagnostic inspection scheduled for tomorrow morning

There's a delay when pressing the accelerator pedal. This happened once and I took it to the mechanic. He mentioned that the CVT transmission code came up. He did maintenance work on the car on 12/10/24. Oil was changed and everything else he said needed to be done. He also mentioned that some Nissans had that problem with the CVT transmission. It happened again yesterday. Upon looking into it online, there's a few other Nissan vehicles with this problem. This is a very dangerous situation. The first time it happened, I was with my family on the highway and I was unable to accelerate. My family got very nervous. Thankfully, I was able to pull over to the shoulder. That's when I took my car to the mechanic immediately. Yesterday I was picking up my daughter from school and the same thing happened. I had to put my emergency lights and stay in the middle of the road until the car accelerated again.

On Wednesday [XXX], I brought my car to AutoNation Nissan in Pembroke Pines Florida due to non-functional windshield wipers. By Wednesday, August 21st, I was informed that not only were the windshield wiper motors inoperable, but a part called the engine harness was also required for repairs, and this part was not available. . I also reached out to my extended warranty program and spoke with Siena at Nissan Corporate, who provided me with case number [XXX]. The part number needed is ASSY-24012-6 MA OC. Despite my repeated follow-ups every three days with Sienna, I have been informed each time that the part remains on backorder with no estimated arrival date and that a loaner vehicle cannot be provided. The air bag light turned on in the dashboard and I took it to the dealership they charged a diagnostics fee and said that the OSC sensor and control unit need to be replaced. I reported to them that I thought maybe the kids dropping water behind the seat was what triggered the light but it turned out that water never touched the components and it just failed on it's own. I checked for recalls for my VIN and found nothing however my car falls under the OSC recalls for my make and model it's just that my VIN isn't included for whatever reason.

The contact stated that the failure was due to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V093000 (Electrical System). The contact called an independent mechanic, who failed to determine the cause of the failure. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 56,000.

After I paid for the Reset and pulled out of the CS garage my vehicle started jerking and grabbing. I took the CS representative in my vehicle and Jackie felt this. The issue could not be found. I took the auto back and now I received paperwork saying that the issue could not be duplicated. I took my vehicle then in October 3rd, 2023 with an appointment at 1p. The issue could not be found. I had 2 different times 2 techs ride in the parking lot. The car's drive shaft was taken out and another was placed in. Tech drove and the issue remained. My old drive shaft was returned to the vehicle. Next, my AWD coupler was unhooked. I didn't feel the issue. Then this was hooked back up. I was told around 4: 45p that day that the service tech was going to call me the next day, No invoice was received. Now I had a whirling/rubbing sound anytime the vehicle was moving along with the jerking. The CS rep never called me and I called a few days later. I was told the part wasn't cheap and it was the AWD coupler. The phone estimate for working on the vehicle with labor, and the part was 2500 and taxes. That was the verbal phone estimate. I took my cousin to Parkway on October 9th. We received a paper estimate. This is a similar problem to your NTB20-069. The exception is below 20 mph for the jerking, and turning the wheel for turns. Worse at very low speeds. Such as looking for a parking spot in a parking lot and right about ready to turn I get jerking and feel as if it bounces forward and backward as I was told AWD issues will feel like this. I was told the part will be ordered and I believe if it's similar to NTB20-069 there is a defect in the AWD. I was driving my 2017 rogué sport on the freeway and suddenly it began to jerk up and down speed and I tried to brake and the brake did not respond suddenly it accelerated and went off I could not brake and I could not control it and the weather did not help me it had rained And as you will understand, the car turns off and the brake doesn't work, we ended up in the retaining wall, we hit the front and reversed and we were stopped in the middle of the road. I tried to start the car twice and the third time it started and so on. I was able to get off the freeway at low speed and it kept pulling

I was driving my car turning into driveway and the car suddenly shut off mid way. Second incident happened the following day. Turning into a driveway and the car shut off. Both times I put the car in park and pressed the start button and it started right up. Monthly prior during the winter the car shut off in very cold weather while coming to a rolling stop at red lights. This happened about a dozen times. I took to personal mechanic, they said they could not find anything wrong. He said let the car warm up more before driving. When I did so it did not shut off as often, but still did occur.

When I accelerated after being at a complete stop, my vehicle would not move at first. The RPMs shot up, but no movement. I was at a busy intersection and the situation was bothersome but there was no accident. I very slowly pressed the gas pedal again and the vehicle went forward. This is not the first time this has happened. Current mileage is 89,600. This type of problem began around 75,000 miles but has not been a weekly occurrence. This has not been confirmed by a dealer nor inspected. No warning lights came on. There has been hesitation in acceleration for about 2 months but I thought it was possibly bad fuel. There are times the RPMs will greatly increase without speed increasing.

My car had less the 30,000 mi on it. It 28,700mi at the time of incident. I bought it brand new in 2018. So this year my warranty expired in April 2021. In June my cooling fan went out and I had no a/c plus the car was not drivable due to it overheating. I’m in Idaho we were have 100-110 degree days here. I had no car for a month and a half because I was told that they don’t make the cooling fans anymore and the dealership couldn’t get ahold of one for that period of time. Meanwhile I lost my job we don’t have busses and I couldn’t get rides or afford ubers/ taxis everyday several times a day. It was awful. I know this issue has to be known to Nissan. Shouldn’t there have been a safety recall by now?!? Also at the exact same time as the cooling fan went out the fuel pump went out too! Now mind you this car was brand new is three years old with less then 30,000mi on it. So the warranty had expired three months prior they can’t get the part to replace it for 1 1/2months so I have no car during that time loose my job and have to foot the bill for replacing both the cooling fan and the fuel pump. Okay I believe this make, model, and year NEEDS to have a mandatory safety recall ASAP. For goodness sake look at how many people have had to replace their cooling fans on their car! That’s not OKAY. I Demand that something be done to fix this BEFORE someone’s car catches fire and someone ends up dying!

The cooling fan supposedly has failed.The car is certified preowned,but of course this component is not covered.The car has been towed to Middletown Nissan in NY.We have been told the fan is on back order and they have had the car for three weeks now.My issue is they tell me there is Three other vehicles ahead of ours also waiting on a fan.when I inquired with another Nissan dealer(Thruway Nissan) about the price of the fan ($420)I was told that it would be on back order and there was 3 other cars ahead of mine waiting on these fans.This car has 35,000 miles on it.It seems awefully suspicious that 7 cars only 4 years old had these fans fail within a 40 mile radius.Should'nt someone question if this should be investigated for a recall?This was quoted as an $880 job.

STARTING AROUND 26,000 MILES, THIS NEW TO US SUV STARTED TO GLITCH IN THE ELECTRONICS. THE AIR WILL TURN HOT, THE RADIO WILL TURN OFF, THEN THE AIR BAG LIGHTS FLICKER, THEN IT STATES THAT THE VEHICLE IS OVERHEATING(EVERY PHYSICAL EXAMINATION INDICATES IT IS NOT). YOU CAN TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND ONE TIME IT WON'T GLITCH AND THE NEXT TIME IT WILL. IF YOU LEAVE THE VEHICLE RUNNING FOR TOO LONG, IT BEHINS TO GLITCH MORE AND MORE. TO THE POINT WHERE IF WE WERE TO DRIVE A LONG DISTANCE I AM AFRAID IT COULD TURN THE VEHICLE OFF WHILE DRIVING. WE ARE TRYING TO GET A SERVICE CENTER TO DUPLICATE. IF YOU HAVE THIS YEAR MODEL AND NOTICE YOUR AIR FEEL A BIT WARM AND RADIO GO IN AND OUT, WATCH YOUR HEAT GAGE, THAT IS HOW IT STARTS TO MESS UP.

FOR OVER A YEAR, I'VE HAD TROUBLE WITH ONE OF THE TIRES LOSING AIR EVERY FEW DAYS. I'M THINKING THAT PERHAPS IT IS THE VALVE STEM, BUT I'M NOT A MECHANIC. THE OTHER DAY, THOUGH, I WAS ACCELERATING ON A MOUNTAIN ROAD MOVING ABOUT 45/50 MPH AND THE CAR STOPPED ACCELERATING. IT WAS AS IF IT WAS IN NEUTRAL AND COULD NO LONGER MOVE. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED BACK TO MY HOUSE, ABOUT 5 MILES AWAY. IT STILL WILL NOT MOVE WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR. I TRIED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE WAITING FOR THE TOW TRUCK AND A FEW TIMES IT WOULD GO INTO GEAR, BUT MOVED VERY SLOWLY. WHEN IT MOVED ABOUT 5 FT, IT WOULD AGAIN ACT AS IF IT WERE IN NEUTRAL. THE LAST TIME I TRIED, THE MIL LIGHT UP AND HAS NOT GONE OFF. I JUST WENT AND TRIED IT AGAIN AND TOOK A VIDEO SO YOU COULD HEAR THAT IT IS NOW WHINING LOUDER THAN NORMAL AND WHEN I PUT IT IN DRIVE, IT ACTUALLY JERKED AND STARTED ROLLING BACKWARD. IT LOOKS LIKE I CAN'T UPLOAD THE VIDEO, THOUGH. I ADDED PICTURES OF WHAT IS LIT UP IN THE PANEL.
