Since October of 2024, I've been having recurring leaks coming through the front right passenger's side at the top corner of the windshield, where the seam in the fabric meets. I have had multiple appointments at Nissan dealerships, where I've been told "your drains are clogged," "it's how it was manufactured," "we'll add some sealant," etc. and the problem has progressively gotten worse and worse, spreading to other areas of my roof, staining my interior, and causing mold and mildew issues. I wonder if it's not a sunroof problem, but a roof rack problem. There was a recall on a batch of 2021 Nissan Rogues in 2021 for this issue, but my car's manufacturing date unfortunately did not fall under that recall. Nissan will not check to see if that's the issue since my car is not technically under recall. I've found a huge community of people online who have had the same problems with their Nissan Rogues, and have unfortunately either had to sell their cars back to the dealership, or are living with mold and mildew in their cars because it's a problem that Nissan has not been willing to fix. I'm asking that this problem is looked into further on behalf of myself and other 2021 Nissan Rogue owners whose particular manufacturing dates did not fall under the recall for the leaking roof racks (attached) and are continuing to have water leak into their cars. My whole sunroof, besides the glass, was replaced in June of 2025, and the problem worsened (photos attached). My car is now back in the shop at a different dealership, with the hopes that they can help me.

I continue to get a check engine light on my car that reads code P0101. The very first time it happened I took it to a mechanic they read the diagnostic code and advised I would need to replace the Mass Airflow sensor. I purchase the part from a Nissan dealership and it was replaced by a mechanic approximately January 2025. The light would continue to come on sporadically. I took it back and was told that engine air filter was dirty. It was replaced the code was cleared and driving fine. 10 months later the same light and code are appearing on my car. It’s been taken to a mechanic whom after checking wiring and other components again believes it’s the mass air flow sensor. This part is not cheap but continues to cause a problem even when replaced with genuine parts.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
17 complaints
The battery was drained on several occasions starting just shy of a year of owning the vehicle, after recharging it would be fine and showed no signs that it needed replacing, until it was finally completely drained and wouldn’t start without being jumped in June 2025. The USM Configuration for the EEM recall was completed at this time along with a battery replacement. However, research suggests that issue could lead to draining of the battery, which the dealer denies was a possibility. These issues combined lead to all warning lights/lamps being produced on the display panel intermittently with a different message as to what the problem was each time. Turns out the only issue was the battery, according to the dealer. There have been several other issues I believe may be electrical related but unsure and when the taken to the dealership to have inspected was told the system just needed to be updated, however it has never fixed these issues, such as rearview backup camera screen black and not working intermittently and sometimes staying on while driving at higher speeds, screen in middle dash not responding to touch or buttons at random, doors automatically and unintentionally unlocked, doors not opening from the inside or outside on rare occasion, system in dash completely shutting down as if the vehicle was turned off and flashing before coming back up, vehicle not starting here and there while inside the vehicle or with key fob or app for remote start. All the random issues have been ongoing since the purchase of the vehicle, but told due to the dealer unable to recreate each problem, they are unable to actually identify what it is.

Turned car on and it said engine malfunction reduced power. Turned car back off and on again, and the same message appeared. I drove the car home and let it sit. Turned it on later and message was gone.
Jul 15, 2025
Back up camera, and other cameras near corners of the car are not displaying. Contacted Nissan about the issue said there is nothing they can do even though they have other recalls on cars with the same problems, just not my model. I also feel as if other components of the car need to be checked to ensure upmost safe driving and functioning. Have photos of car in reverse but no display of any camera.

Car was sputtering and didn’t idle right, engine light came on and took it to Nissan dealership-they replaced egr valve gasket, exhaust gas recirculating, air filter and did 2 recalls. Then 2 days later the car didn’t want to start and had clouds of white smoke coming out of exhaust. Took back to dealership today and was told I need a new motor-coolant was leaking into cylinder 4. My car only has 127,000 miles on it. Now I can’t drive it and have to come up with $6231.00 for a used motor with 30k miles on it.

I have 2021 Nissan to and my suv is drinking a lot of coolant. I have a cracked head gasket where the car has never over heated. It’s coolant mixed with my oil and sometimes it has trouble cranking. When it does crank a bunch of white smoke comes from the exhaust pipe. I haven’t even had the car 2 years and it’s a blown head gasket in the engine. Dealer says I need a new engine

This is a follow up on my email originally sent to Nissan North America, Inc. & forwarded to The US NHTSA. I had purchased a used 2021 Nissan Rogue SV Car bearing the VIN as [XXX] from a local used car dealer in Garland TX USA. The car ran well in the last 2 years except for 1 time repair issue on the Radiator & now the Engine. On [XXX], my car started giving me trouble on the excessive consumption of the Coolant & it got exceptionally overheated while driving. Regular Timely Service has been done on the car. More recently, the car's engine got locked a few times & did not start upon my attempting to start the car. I took the car to Christian Brothers Automotive in Bedford, TX where they diagnosed that the vehicle struggles to start & runs rough. Vehicle smells like it is burning coolant badly, pulled out oil dipstick & found coolant mixed with oil, Blown head gasket and recommended a new engine. Driving at that time was not recommended due to the overheating issues. I took the car to Nissan of Lewisville/Lewisville Nissan & requested them to check the car thoroughly. Initially, I requested a basic 60K Service package which included a Radiator Coolant Flush & other necessary services provided by Nissan North America/Nissan Motor Corporation. Nissan of Lewisville/Lewisville Nissan refused to repair the car claiming expired warranty and demanded $10000.00 from me besides their repeated threats for charging storage fees & towing charges. I invoked 15 years Manufacturer's Implied Warrant retrospectively based on 4 USDC Court Orders ordering the Automobile Manufacturers to provide 15 years Implied Warrant on the cars manufactured by them. The Nissan North America, Inc./Nissan of Lewisville are in contempt of the said Court Orders. Close All Operations of Nissan Company. Order repair the car, provide 15 years Warranty Coverage. I will take 84 cars + $8950,000000.00 in out of court settlement against Nissan North America, Inc., et al. Arrest all involved. FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
10 complaints
The fuel pump and fuel level system appear to be malfunctioning. After refueling, the fuel gauge on the dashboard fluctuates continuously and does not provide a stable or accurate reading. This fluctuation continues for several minutes after pumping gas. The vehicle also struggles to start, requiring multiple attempts before turning on. On multiple occasions, the engine has shut off unexpectedly while the vehicle was in motion. This issue poses a safety risk because the vehicle can stall while driving, which increases the risk of a collision, especially in traffic or at higher speeds. The inaccurate fuel gauge also makes it difficult to determine the actual fuel level, increasing the risk of running out of fuel unexpectedly. The problem has occurred multiple times and is reproducible. The fuel pump and related components are available for inspection upon request. Dealer or independent service center confirmation is UNKNOWN at this time. Inspection by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives is UNKNOWN. Prior to the vehicle shutting off or struggling to start, symptoms included fluctuating fuel gauge readings immediately after refueling and continued erratic gauge behavior while driving. No warning lights are recalled at this time (UNKNOWN).

Vehicle Safety Complaint – Fuel Leak I am reporting a serious safety issue with my vehicle. Vehicle: Nissan Rogue 2021 There is a fuel leak from underneath the fuel tank area, and a strong gasoline odor inside the cabin. The smell is noticeable while driving and when the vehicle is parked. This creates a fire and explosion hazard, and I believe the vehicle is unsafe to operate. The manufacturer/dealer informed me that the warranty has expired and refused to cover the repair. No accident occurred, but the fuel leak is ongoing and presents an immediate safety risk. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed as a potential safety defect.

My 2021 Nissan Rogue has a major gas fume leak. When the vehicle sits at idle in a parking lot with all of the doors and windows closed, the gas fumes build up inside of the cabin of the vehicle. The fumes get so strong that it gives me migraines and makes me feel nauseous and to the point of almost passing out. Sometimes it's so bad you can still smell the fumes in the car the following day even after it's been turned off all night. I took it to the Nissan dealership and they said it's a known problem that cannot be fixed on these cars.
Jul 07, 2025
Strong gas smell after car has been idled or parked for more than 5 minutes or so. If I turn the car off and start it again within the hour, the fumes are worse. Car has been maintenance according to schedule and passed Multipoint Safety Check on 10/2/2023. I am concerned both about the health risk of inhaling fumes, as I drive many hours per day. I have noticed dizziness, nausea, and headaches days that I am in and out of the car more. I am also concerned about the risk of a fire ensuing due to the strong fumes. I am anxious every time I turn the car on hoping that no malfunctions occur.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
9 complaints
I had purchased a brand new 2021 Nissan Rouge SV AWD in 2021. I am now at 46,000 miles and I have had all system lights on and off since purchase. The first started with back hatch around 20 miles, went to go get it taken care of and it disappeared. I have broke down with electrical issues twice now, with error code of 'Warning Malfunction', 'forward collision warning', 'air bag', 'forward collision light' and 'check engine" on dash. On Sunday August 10 2025, I was driving on the highway at 70 MPH, and my vehicle slammed on the brakes automatically with kids in the car. Looking at the dashboard showed forward collision light, with no cars near me. I then went 35 MPH to get off nearest exit. I made it home safely with minor issues to kids neck from the brake issue. Yesterday on August 13 2025 I went to my local supermarket to get milk, and the car wouldn't start after I went shopping and showed a different error of 'Malfunction'. In the winter time the light of forward collision comes on, and I have no control over my vehicle at all. I then assumed I needed better tires and purchased them, however it made no difference. This SUV is very dangerous, and I am terrified to even drive it. The airbag light has now been on also, and in addition to yesterday's break down, the engine light is also on. I have an appointment again for my Nissan dealer now on Tuesday August 19 2025, and hoping this will be resolved. At 46,000 miles this should not be an issue, let alone danger my family. I also have videos, that won't allow upload here. Please help me.

The contact exited the vehicle to inspect the vehicle and discovered that the front driver’s and passenger’s side wheels were pointed inward. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the tie rods had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was made aware of NHTSA Action Number: PE24020 (Steering) and related the failure to the NHTSA Action Number. The failure mileage was 52,000.

When driving and going to turn the steering wheel locked up and vehicle stayed turning right. Had to force steering wheel back. After getting steering unlock it did it again when I was at stop sign. Also could hear noise is steering column. Steering wheel locked with no warning lamps or messages. Took vehicle to Nissan dealership. Dealership said it didn't lock up for them but they could hear the noise. Dealership took steering column apart and replaced steering column clock spring.

The contact owned a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the steering wheel pulled to the right independently and the steering wheel was vibrating abnormally. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to the residence. The contact was informed by the tow truck driver that the steering column had split in half. No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was then towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the tie rod had split in half due to a heavy impact. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and informed the contact that representative would provide a call back. The failure mileage was 60,000.

I was driving. I hit nothing. My steering traction light comes on, and the car starts pulling to the right. I go in the shop. There is a bend in my passenger inner tie rod. I took it to the dealer. they keep trying to get me to say I had an accident. I did not. Now they want to charge me 3500 to replace the whole steering rack because they "can't just purchase the inner tie rod". Which they can. MANY PEOPLE are having the same problem with their tie rods being faulty on these cars.
Jun 03, 2025
Passengers side inner tie rod end. With normal driving conditions and normal road conditions with bumps and holes bent. So much so the self driving system nor I could drive it without turning it hard left to try and keep it straight. I have pictures this tie rod end is much to small of a diameter to be in a position to Carry the load of front drive and steering wheels. Normal road conditions today are much to rough for this.

STRUCTURE
8 complaints
There are leaks at the corner of the top windshield through to the inside of the vehicle. Problem is reoccurring with rain and when vehicle is washed leaving the interior of the roof and side panel lining the windshield wet potential causing internal water damage to electrical components and creating mold and mildew buildup that is not yet visible. This creates an extreme health risk for the general population but especially for my child and myself who are highly allergic to mold and mildew. The outside of the vehicle appears to now be rusting due to this issue as well. This issue was first reported to the dealer within the first month or so of purchasing the vehicle in July of 2021 and taken in for inspection, along with several other issues, however was not noted on the service report for the technicians to inspect and was missed. Was officially inspected by the dealership in June 2025 and was told it is the roof rails that are leaking, this is a common issue, and likely was due to the vehicle being parked outside and probably had leaves trapped inside contributing to the leak, however this began within the first month of purchasing the vehicle new.
Jul 22, 2025
Nissan had improperly installed the roof rail mounts on the 2021 Nissan Rogue causing leaks to occur into the vehicle. These leaks lead to mold accumulation on the interior and quickly becomes a health hazard. Nissan had released a Technical Services Bulletin for this issue; however, they have not yet issued a recall for this. We took our vehicle in for a mold issue and provided the TSB details to them, but they were not willing to warranty the issue as the vehicle had just dropped out of the 3-year warranty period. The estimated repair costs to resolve this issue is over $3,000 dollars and mold toxicity poisoning had occurred due to this manufacturing defect of the vehicle.

Paint on the front bumper is chipping and bubbling up.
Oct 07, 2024
On numerous occasions, my roof was leaking right at the A pillar. This water was getting right into the side air bag, as well as where the electronics for speakers are. The vehicle spent almost 13 weeks at the dealership and took lots of trial and error to finally find the issue. It was eventually found to be the service bulletin issue in the roof rail. My concern is silicone sealant could fail, causing this to leak again. Who knows what mold or rust issues may be hiding inside, causing structural concern over time. The fact that these vehicles have this well known issue but have not been recalled yet is concerning.
Sep 29, 2024
Left and right rear wheel well rubber weatherstrip moldings have fallen off twice. The piece comes off at highway speeds with the mounting screw exposed. Recently, in a rain storm, the vehicle became momentarily unstable as the right side molding came off and was run over. Fortunately, the screw did not cause a tire puncture. I have noticed the weatherstrip missing on numerous Nissan Rogue's indicating that this is a common occurrence. Dealer has fixed as warranty issue both times. Reported to manufacturer as complaint.

Nissan chime speaker unbelievably loud at car start up. The seat belt chimes and any chime that comes from the dash speaker is louder than normal. The speaker is “ inst panel speaker 24832-6ra0a. “ I have only had this car for one year this November. It happened for a few days during the first month or two having the car then it went back to normal, now it is doing it again and has lasted a month. Seems to happen only when it’s cold outside. Sometimes chime will start normal then grow increasingly loud.

Nissan is aware of this issue as referenced in TSB 21-097B where the windshield and roof leak water into the vehicle causing damage to the interior of the vehicle, including soaking/staining the headliner and water running down the sides of the interior of the vehicle and potentially causing electrical and safety problems. They have been aware of this issue on 2021-2023 Rogues for several years, put out a technical service bulletin, but have not proactively fixed any of the vehicles. When this happened, my wife experience intermittent connectivity issues with the Rogue.

I have had several issues over the course of 2 years with the what appears to be an electrical or computer problem with this vehicle. The dashboard will light up and all the warnings constantly display. It is not always the same alert. It has also happened a couple times while I was driving and I had to pull over. Today I had another issue I went to get in my car and there is beeping and flashing and lights on the dashboard, I was also unable to start my vehicle, it progressed to me not being able to unlock or lock the doors, I had to do it manually. This is not the first time this has happened, and eventually I was able to get it started, but not the time. I have also reported the issue to my dealership, but the last time I did, they said they didn't see anything when I took it and that it may be the computer and if it happens again bring it in.

Traveling approximately 30 mph, suddenly appears Red triangle with a Warning ....Not Available ....System Malfunction, and a yellow illuminated object on the speedometer on the instrument panel of the car. The Warning sign remains on until vehicle turned off, once vehicle is restarted and you get to approximately 30 mph, the warning light reappear. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership multiple times since Sept/ Oct 2021. All I know is whatever the service dept at the dealership does to remove warning, the warning sign always return. I am thinking it take more than resetting computer in vehicle to repair vehicle. The photos I am submitting has approximately 12k miles, you will notice the warning sign is on them as well.

Hi Team, I own a certified 2021 Nissan and am currently experiencing a water leak at the top front corners of the windshield. The vehicle has already been inspected for potential windshield defects and clogged drains, but no issues were identified. Upon further research, I came across Technical Bulletin NTB21-097B, which describes a similar issue occurring in many 2021-manufactured vehicles. Although my vehicle's VIN does not currently show any active recalls related to this bulletin, the symptoms are consistent. This leak is also affecting the driver and passenger side airbags, which poses a significant safety risk in the event of an accident. Given the circumstances, I kindly request that you review this case for coverage under the scope of the bulletin and advise me on the next steps. Thank you for your attention and assistance. Thanks [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I brought my 2021 Nissan Rogue in for service at Jenkins Nissan in Lakeland, FL for a oil change and tire rotation and we have had a light on our dash board indicating a airbag error and they charged us to look that up and said it is an airbag module or sensor that is causing the error message on the dashboard as the paper work said it is a Sensor-Side Airbag Center causing that and said it would cost around $1460 to repair that. I looked up recalls on my Rogue and it listed an Airbag issue on some of the 2021 Nissan Rogue models but did not list mine specifically. I feel this should either be covered by my warranty or the recall they are having with the airbag issue.

I noticed that my car was often unlocked after I knew for a fact that I locked it. I also had a problem with the right passenger door not unlocking even when the unlock button was pushed. I would often have to physically unlock that door on its own. After this happened for about a month, the car now opens even if I have locked it, with some of the doors causing the alarm to sound, even the door easily opened. I am concerned about safety especially when going out late at night or leaving my car parked in public lots. The problem was confirmed by the dealer when I went in for service. They inspected it and told me the door lock actuators on the back doors are bad. After looking this up, I see that there is a class action suit pending for this issue. There were no warnings prior to this happening.

Side view mirrors vibrate to the point of distortion making it harder to see vehicles. The problem is in the pedestal mount attached the doors which act like a tuning fork and need to be updated to wider base pedestals to mitigate vibration like other vehicles that have door mounted mirrors. Please help its very dangerous.

Our 2021 Nissan Rogue stalls in Traffic, Park Brake Alert pops up when not on, Radio doesn’t work sometimes, Gas Pump doesn’t click off when full so have to watch or it spills on car and ground, inside Pillars between fr-windshield and front driver and passenger windows leak when I run it through the car wash, there are constant glitches with it that we’ve taken in and they say it doesn’t replicate for them so they can’t do anything even though they have complaints on all with the NHTSA. The Vehicle just stalls out while driving?

The car just shut down while it was on and I was in it. Luckily I was at a stop. This is the second time it has happened in 6 months. It would be scary if it happened if it happened on the freeway. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle.

May 1st, 2023 at approx. 3:30pm There were NO warning lights or messages of ANY kind received. No warning given by mail or phone call from selling agent that was issued March 12th, 2021. Was driving on interstate going south headed home after work. Approx 15 mi from home when smoke starting coming into the vehicle & from under the hood. Traveling in fast lane, appox 70mph in heavy traffic. Tried to pull over to see what the problem was but traffic wouldn't allow it, & I could not get to side of road & missed the next exit. So I proceeded to next rest area that I knew was less than a mile on my side. When there is smoke you usually find fire! As I entered the exit ramp to rest area I passed out from smoke inhalation. SUV continued traveling straight ahead at approx 55 mph & hit parked 18 wheeler tractor-trailer, I bounced off it, circled around & ended up facing West. I was still unconscious, truck driver & security guard pulled me from my suv. Just as they did the vehicle exploded into flames. Nothing left of vehicle. Rescuers could not see if any other passengers were in car because the black smoke was so thick & flames were shooting from under hood. Transported via ambulance to regional trauma & burn center to critical care ICU. There they did full test to check for stroke, heart, or other problems but I was in great health. I did have 4 broken ribs on left, cut in top of skull that took 8 staples, stitches in right eyebrow, damaged forehead, & various 1st, 2nd, & 3rd degree burns on my face, neck, right ear, left forearm, & both hands burned sufficiently! My shirt MELTED. SUV definitely had a problem that I was NOT aware of, for it to just start smoking, driving down the road. Purchased 3-7-23 from Hertz Car Sales. Only had SUV for 79 days/ 2 months! Loved the vehicle but it almost killed me! Thanks forever to my guardian Angel that saved my life! This model SUV must be recalled to save lives in the future & repair such a dangerous issue!

my gear shifter in my 2021 Rogue was stuck in park. I was stuck in the middle of a 6 lane road. Car would not go into drive or reverse in heavy traffic or neutral. Had waited for police they arrived 15 minutes later car was able to engage drive . Then towed to Nissan of Rockville Center NY. I was informed that liquid was under gear shifer and the electronics were faulty. I had the same issue in 2022 and received 2,500 dollars from Nissan but they never replaced part... Today same issue but life threatening. Water is able to drip down the shifter mechanism and made the CVT light to turned on and the car was stuck in park, Nissan said water got under the shifter. I own the car and never spilled water or accidently spilled water into the gear shifter. I called Nissan consumer affairs case # [XXX] and complained and said " How is this not water proofed as if water can get in this area cause the car to be immobile. stuck in park. I awaited a tow truck from AAA at [XXX] [XXX]... This complaint or defect is serious! I was so scared. But the police surrounded my car from traffic within 3 minutes.. on [XXX], Long Island. This ability for water to go through the shifter and cause this issue is an absolute manufacturers defect and needs to be address to this shifter design. It is the newer style shifter with only forward neutral and park button. this should be a sealed area as the cup holders are 2 inches away from the shifter. I think the issue started 2 years ago and corroded the electronics as nothing has spilt in this area ever! I don't even remember spilling anything in 2022. I asked Nissan if it could of come from below the car.? they said NO. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Randomly I get malfunction light, check engine light, caution light and and low power lights that flash and beep in the car. It affects the pressure I need to use when pressing down on the gas pedal. It requires more pressure and does not let me surpass a certain mph (I have only gone 40mph when this has appeared). It will randomly shut off and turn on. Since it has started it has been happening more and more with more lights going off. While driving it has turned off the blind spot indicator and other electrical options in the car distracting me while driving.

The contact’s husband owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at 45-50 MPH, the vehicle was going at a slower speed than the speed displayed on the speedometer. The warning message “Engine Malfunction/Power Reduced/Service Now” was illuminated. The contact continued to drive at a slower speed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the gear shifter, the battery, and unknown sensors needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred while driving. The vehicle was towed to the dealer who informed the contact that they could not duplicate the failure; however, one of her keypads was replaced and reprogrammed. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact notified the manufacturer of the failure and inquired about a buy back. The failure mileage was approximately 4,514.

I recently filled up my windshield wiper fluid tank to the max. As I was driving, my visibility was impaired by dirt/dust. I activated my wipers to clean the front windshield and nothing came out. I had to pull over on the highway because I had difficulty seeing. When I opened the front hood to check my fluid level, it was empty. I used a bottle of water to clean the front windshield. I purchased another bottle and when I was filling up the wiper fluid tank, it started to come out of the bottom of the vehicle. I took it to the dealership and was told that it was cracked and needed to be replaced. They said I must have hit something on the road. The problem with that is there is no other visible damage underneath the vehicle. A mechanic told me that he has been seeing numerous Rogues coming in with the same problem: cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoirs.

Vehicle Safety Defect Report I am submitting this vehicle safety defect report regarding a serious and dangerous failure in a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The vehicle experienced complete electronic shutdowns while driving on the highway. During the most severe incidents, on December 19, 2025 and again on January 14, 2026, the vehicle activated the automatic emergency braking system without external cause, shifted into PARK, and shut down completely, leaving the vehicle immobilized in live interstate traffic during heavy rain. The dashboard displayed multiple simultaneous warnings (engine, battery, collision sensors). A repair facility later diagnosed corrosion in the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The module was not replaced, only cleaned, and the failure recurred. This defect presents an extreme risk of collision, serious injury, or death. A vehicle that shuts down and electronically locks while in motion is unsafe to operate. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this electronic defect affecting critical safety and control systems. Videos, dashboard images, repair records, and documented evidence are attached. While driving on an interstate highway during heavy rain, my 2021 Nissan Rogue experienced a complete electronic shutdown. Multiple warning lights appeared simultaneously, the automatic emergency braking system activated without cause, and the vehicle suddenly shifted into PARK and shut off, leaving me immobilized in live traffic. This occurred on December 19, 2025, and the same failure happened again on January 14, 2026. The vehicle could not be moved and required towing. A repair facility diagnosed corrosion in the Transmission Control Module (TCM). The module was only cleaned, not replaced, and the failure recurred. This defect creates a severe risk of collision, serious injury, or death. I narrowly avoided being struck by a truck. I am no longer able to safely operate this vehicle.

While driving one day in November 2024, the master warning light and the automatic emergency braking system off warning light came on. With 2 malfunction warnings: “Not available system malfunction with the Lane Departure warning symbol” and “AEB malfunction”. If you try to use cruise control a loud siren is alerted since these 2 malfunctions are happening. Took it to the Nissan dealership where I bought it and was told there was a lane camera with an open circuit and to replace it when my windshield crack since it was close to $2,000.

The automatic emergency braking has activated randomly while in reverse and in drive on many occasions. These instances have almost gotten my hit while on the interstate as well as other busy highways in Fort Lauderdale. The car has been inspected on multiple occasions by Nissan and they have been unable to fix it and merely suggest turning off this feature. The front braking sensors have malfunctioned and I have the warning notifications. The radio unit continues to go blank without any warning and Nissan is unable to determine why this happens. They have added an update from the Nissan Sentra Recall for the same issue, but it has not been rectified. I have several videos and photos of the incidents, however the file types are not supported on this website.

This event has happen 5 times in the last 8 months. While driving (under 30 miles per hr.) car suddenly seems to disengage from the engine . I no longer have acceleration and the engines RPMs increase while stepping on the gas. Stepping off the gas petal will lower the RPMs but the car slows down and eventually will stop. If I brake and reset the car in Drive, will reset and begin to accelerate. Bad thing is there is not engine warning lights or indication of when this will happen. Each episode has been when I have not been going over 30 mph luckily. I never know when this will happen, my biggest fear is the engine will disengage, I will be stuck in the middle of the road and someone will not see me and rear-end me. I have contacted the dealer (January 31, 2024) and had the car looked at but because they could not duplicate the event, they gave it back to me. Attached are pics from the service call where after giving the car back to me they left diagnostic gauges, tape and rusty screwdriver in engine. The last time it happened and I took it to the dealer, they say they test drove it but on the Invoice the mileage remained the same from the Mileage in and out. Hmmm...Did they really test drive it?!!! Or are they just sick of me bringing it to them. Bought the 2021 Nissan Rogue on November 21, 2021 and currently (as of 6/3/24) only have 16315 miles. I am afraid, I have bought a Lemon.

When trying to start the car I had to push the Brakes almost to the floor to get it to start. THEY WERE EXTREMELY SOFT TO GET IT TO START THE ENGINE AND THEN THEY WERE GOING TO THE FLOOR BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THEY ARE ALMOST TO THE FLOOR WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR STOPPING. Then while I was driving to pick up my prescriptions and approaching a Stop Sign, then 3 Stop Lights or approaching a vehicle that is already stopped in front of me my brakes are extremely soft and do not engage. They almost go to the floor. The car does not immediately slow down or come to a stop. I have to keep pumping the brakes and even then they were Extremely soft and went almost to the floor before Stopping. I have small feet Size 6-7 and One time my foot slid under the pedal. I had to use the Parking brake at the Stop Sign and the Stop Lights to feel comfortable enough that I would not move forward and be sure I that I came a full Stop. I pulled into a McDonalds Parking Lot less than a mile from my home to see if I turn off the car it will reset the brakes and it did not work. I called Elevated Nissan in Merriam, Kansas which is the Dealership I purchased it from (less than another Mile away from the McDonalds) they were closing in 25 minutes, so I drove less than 5 mph to get there and dropped off the vehicle. I showed [XXX] in service how they would go to the floor. He called me the next morning and after the vehicle sitting in the shop all night long the brakes engaged in a normal fashion the next day. They are trying to find out what is causing them to go soft. These Brakes can cause a Serious Catastrophe resulting in injury or worse. I was parked then backed up to proceed forward. There was a pole with a cemented base in the corner left as I accelerated I ran in to this pole. Peripherally I don’t know how I missed the pole however I do take accountability for that. What concerns me is my front collision system and forward emergency braking system failed and did not activate or message me in any way. In the past if I’ve come too close to a vehicle or object in front of me my vehicle lets me know messaging me on my screen, side mirrors and my vehicle has even braked itself. I have become reliant on this system and I no longer feel secure or safe knowing this system intermittently works. The dealership Hart Nissan now Victory Nissan I bought my 2021 Rogue from said that certain areas of the front bumper can miss objects. This is not safe and unacceptable. Additionally it is costing me a $2,000 deductible which is unaffordable on my disability income.

Just found a new motor assembly at Nissan Dealer (Capitol in Wilmington, NC) and purchased out of pocket for $380.68 after negotiating a reduction of $200 with the dealer. Also, have a $250 deductible and Safelite charge for new wiper arm and blade $47.

UNKNOWN, I had just got off or my 8 hour work shift at 3:30 pm eastern time. I went to my truck/rear hatch to put my stuff in and I notice glass on the ground. I look up and notice 2 holes the size of a soft ball on the bottom right and left corner of my back windshield. The glass was whole back glass was completely shattered. Every time I shut a door on either side of the door more glass shattered from the back windshield. I was park in an area where no cars were within 10 feet of my car the weather was about 80 degrees, we've had much hotter days in VA. There is absolutely no explanation for this besides a malfunction in the windshield being used on the vehicles. Upon my own research I have discovered this same incident has happened to many other Nissan owners with the damage to the wind shield looking identical, it the same exact spots.

The driver’s seat heating element appears to have failed and caused the seat material to burn. The damaged seat and its components are still in my possession and available for inspection upon request. The malfunction caused the seat to catch fire while the vehicle was in use, creating a risk of burns, smoke inhalation, and a potential full vehicle fire. This posed a significant danger to my safety and the safety of any passengers. Not yet. The issue has not been reproduced, but the physical damage clearly indicates a failure of the heating element. I am planning to have it evaluated by a dealer or an independent service center. Not yet. No inspection has been done so far by Nissan, law enforcement, or insurance, but I intend to contact my insurance provider and the dealership for official inspection and documentation. There were no warning lights, messages, or unusual symptoms before the failure occurred. The fire started suddenly while the seat heater was in use.

Summary of Issue: While driving my 2021 Nissan Rogue SL using cruise control, a vehicle turned left in front of me. My Rogue beeped, disengaged cruise control, and abruptly lost acceleration without braking. This sudden loss of throttle caused my car to decelerate in the middle of the road during active traffic, nearly resulting in a collision. There were no warning lights or messages, and the issue did not resolve until I manually took control of acceleration. Safety Concern: I rely on cruise control regularly, and this unexpected disengagement created a dangerous situation that compromised my ability to safely maintain speed and respond to surrounding traffic. I’m concerned this may be a fault within the adaptive cruise control system or a misinterpretation by the forward-facing sensors.

Started noticing the difference with the vehicle around 7,000 miles while driving at different speeds traveling to and from work. it did get worse over time and at 17,000 miles it was at the dealer and they stated that no issues were found or present. Vehicle will have excessive sway / bounce and will dip to one side depending what imperfections you will drive over during the trip. I have no idea how they test the vehicles at the dealer as there is an issue with it when stated to the personnel but at the end it seems to be nothing wrong. Does it take an accident to happen with severe injuries nowadays to have them take something serious. As a service technician my self by bouncing the rear bumper downwards it seems very bouncy, indicating bad shocks. If dealer's technician cant seem to see this then i have no words beyond the quality of service people get once they purchase the vehicles.

Car and driver reported early builds pre January 28th 2021 from the Japan plant recorded a 2 star safety rating on the passenger small overlap test. Nissan updated retrofitted the passenger airbag module software and seatbelt and was supposed to start a campaign to notify owners to have this done and we were never notified and Nissan is no help when you call and provide VIN. They only tell me no recalls on this VIN. Please note the assembly line builds were provided the retrofit after Jan28th 2021 in Japan builds and Smyrna Tenn builds were already updated before the first build came off the line. My wife's truck and this VIN qualifies with a build date of November 2020 from Japan's factory. Very concerned of the safety of any passenger in our truck and Nissan is dragging their feet and not taking this seriously I feel due to expense. Not sure how many are affected but they need a severe push to remedy this issue. Please help us and God bless you for having this forum. We purchased this Feb 2021 and its been long enough for Nissan to do the right thing for public safety for our family. Thank you. We bought our 2021Nissan Rogue SE from Fuccillo Nissan of Clearwater, 15232 US-19, Clearwater, FL, (727-507-3200) on May 5, 2021.Our Rogue had 400+ miles on the odometer at the time we received. On June 7, 2021 the air bag dash light came on. An appointment was made for service of the airbags on June 10, 2021. At the time of pick up the airbag dash light was off. It turned back on June 14, 2021. In a call to Fuccillo Service Department the service tech informed us that because the airbag dash light was on the airbags were disabled. We had a major trip planned to attend a wedding in PA that we were driving to. Since the airbags were disabled driving our Rogue on a 3000+ mile trip would not be safe. We were put in a position of renting a vehicle for our trip. On June 15, 2021 we left our Rogue at Fuccillo Nissan of Clearwater for repair of this safety issue. Today is July 14, 2021 and our Rogue is still at the dealership waiting for the arrival of a seat belt clip which may fix the airbag issue. We have started a claim Case# 44081404 with Nissan Consumer Assistance requesting replacement of Rogue with a new 2021 Nissan Rogue comparably equipped as the new 2021 Nissan Rogue we purchased on May 5, 2021.

The contact stated that on a separate occasion, while the vehicle was stopped at a stop sign, the vehicle made an abnormal sound and then stalled. The vehicle failed to restart, with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact was unable to move over to the side of the road. The contact called a family member for a jumpstart. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected or diagnosed. The contact stated that the failure persisted. Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to a manufacturer’s campaign related to the Body Control Module (BCM). Most recently, the contact stated that the rearview camera displayed a distorted image or a black screen while the vehicle was in reverse(R). The contact stated that the failure obstructed the driver's visibility, which prevented the driver from safely operating the vehicle. The contact turned off the vehicle and waited for several minutes before restarting the vehicle. The contact stated that the rear camera would then reboot. The contact stated that while using the key fob, the doors or liftgate failed to lock securely. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.

During a recent trip I noticed a "fluttering/rattling" noise coming from the top of the windshield of our 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum. The noise was very noticeable at interstate highway speed and on rougher road surfaces. While looking for the source of noise I found staining on the driver side headliner and interior front pillar garnish. Took Rogue to dealer and was told that the seal for the attachment clips for the roof rack were leaking into the interior. Leakage had damaged headliner and gotten into the airbag. The roof racks would have to be removed and sealed and the entire headliner, front pillar garnish, and the airbag replaced. The total repair would cost approximately $4,000.00. Since the Rogue was 45 months old with 20,500 miles it was out of warranty due to its age. The dealer told me that I would be responsible for the cost to repair it since it was out of warranty. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs to see if they would cover the cost since the leak was caused by a design and/or manufacturing defect. Nissan agreed to pay 90% of the repair but I would be responsible for the remaining 10% (approximately $400.00). I told them this was unacceptable and that Nissan should be responsible for the entire cost of the repair. Nissan has refused my requests to cover the full cost of repair. An internet search revealed that Nissan was aware of the defect and had issued a Service Bulletin (NTB21-097, dated 10/20/21), which was a few months before we purchased the vehicle. Since the leak can allow water to damage the airbag it is a serious safety issue. The airbag may not deploy properly during an accident or could suddenly deploy for no reason and cause a crash. Nissan should take full responsibility and pay the full amount for the repair since it is a known design and/or manufacturing defect. Nissan should issue a recall for affected vehicles.

Communications with Nissan consumer affairs and Nissan service departments both of which state the vehicle is out of warranty and repairs for this known issue will be charged to customer despite evidence this is a manufacturing defect known to exist within this year make and model.

Driver side rear door lock electrical actuator will not lock or unlock the door. Door has to be manually unlocked. In the event of an emergency, it will delay the egress of a passenger in the rear seat. The tires seemed to be faulty from the date of purchase of the vehicle. Within 3 weeks of ownership I had to replace one tire, at 6 weeks-repair a flat on another tire, and within 3 months replaced another tire (possibly two, can’t quite recall with all the issues this vehicle has had) and fixed another flat on the existing tires again. To date there are only 27,000 miles on the vehicle and the tires are well past needing replaced. However, they were terrible and extremely unsafe from the beginning. When I had inquired with the dealer, they stated that the manufacturer parts are not always top of the line unfortunately, same response with the battery, and suggested I replace with higher quality. These parts shouldn’t be unsafe or require replacement with safer, higher-quality, or better-performing ones from the manufacturer, especially not in a brand-new vehicle.

We have had a problem where our battery had died on us out of nowhere. We took it to autozone to check out or battery and they said it was low and we just had to drive it around so we can charge it. We did that didn’t work so we changed the battery. Well two months later our car won’t start anymore and our battery drained again. Now our car won’t start we had to jump start it again and even with that the battery wont hold its charge. We had a good friend who is a mechanic come in and help us and he did what he could to inspect the car and he was at a lost couldn’t tell us why the car won’t start.

Brand new Rogue at 400 miles(no previous owner) CVT malfunction due to incorrect grounding of transmission on mount. Resistance is not good and causes a draining battery… flickering lights, loss of power steering and slipping of gears. Mount is neither grounded and is experiencing a high pressurized leak. Dealership has noted leak at 20K and has considered services from the past at 46K. They note antifreeze/coolant but it is clearly transmission fluid. Wife is scared. Almost got in an accident with 2 year old baby and their parents due to jerking transmission on the road at 40K. Self serviced transmission fluid at 43k and have found very black burnt transmission fluid. No more road side assistance due to needed jump starts… Nissan claims it is the battery but this is 5th battery to be tested non-defective and new LIFEPO4 battery is saving lives but dealership refused to work on my car further until they see the OEM battery even if I use the original they want a new battery which will ultimately leave me stranded or loss of control unless driving over 100MPH in case of emergency? I have proof and images alongside a real forensic case. Dealership may be tampering with vehicle or vehicle did not pass inspection… electrical issues were prominent at first 1K but accused of “phantum burst” or leaving lights on… parasitic draw directly from alternator mount and transmission fluid at a high pressurized leak. Build quality looks like it was squeezed an good half inch to the right and components are overlapped when originally they weren’t. A/C lines poor seal. Vacuum leak in engine filter compartment resulting in undesirable dirt debris. Coolant becoming very brown more often… and components in the car not shutting off including stereo and settings in the dash. Casa has claimed to fix the “no-start condition” during a recall campaign but did not… requested 900 dollars for fluid change and new battery before looking at leak… flagstaff Nissan did miracles but did not note short

Ok , so 4 weeks ago I was driving down Jefferson Avenue here in st. Louis mo. Mind you my car only has 44k on it and I take immaculate care of it. I searched all over trying to find a tie rod for it. No one could produce one. Soni called nissan consumer affairs to get involved amd help locate parts to this car. After them towing my car to a dealer it has sat fir weeks now, amd they finally denied any help saying they wasn't responsible. Amd it was going to have to have a whole new steering rack n pion, which is 2500 dollars I don't have. I've looked around amd called and everyone is saying you hardly ever have to replace all of that for a tie rod. Nissan. I know is under investigation for this happening to other people with the rogue. I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue and have had numerous problems with it since the purchase. My current problem is that the back hatch/trunk is leaking when it rains, water is coming through. The back hatch/trunk will also open and not stay open, it begins to automatically close unless you press the button so it will not close on you. The warning lights have also began coming on again stating that driving assistance is not available. I also lose power to the display screen on the inside and it goes dark. The nissan place where I live is aware and I have an appointment on Tuesday of this month. I have asked them in the past about recalls on my vehicle and they state that my vehicle has no recalls, I have also checked the site and it states my VIN is not included in the recall even though I feel like I have had so many problems with this car. In the past, I have already had to have my alternator replaced and a new battery. This is my first experience owning a Nissan, in the past I had a toyota and in the future I will go back to a toyota. Roof rails are leaking onto A pillar curtain air bags and causing headliner to become saturated above the A pillers on both sides of the car. Multiple people who own rogues from this year are having this issue. Water could cause damage to airbags, mold in headliner, and electrical issues with upper roof controls and lighting. I purchased this vehicle new and started having issues with it at 3,000 miles. The screen freezes or just stops working, the HVAC system blows out 2 totally different temps even though it's "Synced" on the same temp. My blind spot warning is malfunctioning, the rear camera has stopped working and the rear tailgate fills with water, I was told I would need a whole new tailgate to fix that, I supposedly had the retractors replaced in my seatbelts and those still do not retract. The car has slammed on the brakes on the highway for no reason causing a burn on my neck, supposedly that recall was performed but I dont think it was. I have also caught Gandrud Nissan in an act of fraud once already regarding my vehicle being there for an entire week and them trying to say it was never there, and I believe they never performed these recalls or fixes, otherwise my seatbelts should work and my cameras would be working. This vehicle has given me nothing but issues since I bought it. I have video and paperwork to back this all up. When I asked to speak with the owner of Gandrud Nissan who has done all the work on my vehicle while under warranty, he refuses to call me back. I would like an investigation done to see if these parts have been replaced and the recall work was actually performed, I do not want Nissan notified until after another party has checked to see if the work was done.

On 7/23/21, I leased a 2021 Nissan Rogue SV AWD at Nissan of Streetsboro, Ohio. I leased the vehicle because I felt the newly designed Rogue looks good and drives smoothly. Unfortunately, during a recent long-distance trip from Ohio to Florida between 7/24 and 8/3 on interstate multi-lane highway I-77 and I-95 for a total of 2,500 miles, I uncovered a serious safety defect that is not possible to spot during the local test drive and it prompted me to make this report. The near accident-causing problem occurred on three occasions when the cruise control and intelligent lane intervention (I-LI) were enabled simultaneously at high speed (60~70mph). The incident occurred when I passed a big truck on the lane next to me, andthe entire Rogue got pulled towards that truck! What had happened was that the intelligent lane intervention system (I-LI) is designed to keep the vehicle in lane automatically. But when the truck next lane made a mistake and crossed line into my lane, I had to pull away from it, but then the intelligent lane intervention (I-LI) system failed to recognize the danger and forced my vehicle back in lane while the truck was still there, allowing my vehicle onto a collision course at high speed. I had since made the report to Nissan Consumer Affair. And the Nissan dealer sent the tech person out to drive along side of me, and he fully agreed that it is a dangerous problem. However, to my utter surprise, the case manage at Nissan Consumer Affair closed the case simply because that's how the feature was designed and no damage had occurred to the vehicle. I felt obligated and determined not to let this dangerous defect cause anyone's life. So, I contacted Nissan America corporate office on 8/31. They only had someone call me back to acknowledge receipt of my letter. No actions had been taken since. I am still driving this unsafe leased vehicle, and the lease is for 3 years. I think it's illegal to lease an unsafe vehicle to a customer.

The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rouge. The contact stated that while driving 62 MPH, the vehicle lost power as speed was reduced inadvertently. The contact stated engine warning light illuminated displaying "malfunction power reduced service now". The dealer was contacted and advised to turn the vehicle off and to restart it. The contact did as was informed by the dealer as the vehicle resumed normal operation. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and stated the battery lost charge. The vehicle was at the dealer overnight to have the battery recharged. The issue was corrected however, the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was currently at the dealer for diagnosis and repairs. The manufacturer was made aware and a case was opened. The contact stated that the manufacturer contacted the dealer and was informed that the failure could not be diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 1,600.

VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
1 complaint
Exiting a parking lot 6:45 pm 9/16/21, after braking and shifting gears from reverse to drive, the vehicle took off at top speed without my depressing the gas pedal. I negotiated a right turn with great difficulty because of high speed and pulled off to the side of the next block, braked hard, stopped, and turned off the engine. Each time I tried to restart the engine it roared into high speed (speedometer flew instantly to 140 mph) and the vehicle lurched forward without my touching the gas pedal. I repeated attempts at normal start several times; each time the roar and lurch recurred. I turned off everything and called a friend to pick me up. By the time she arrived about ten minutes later, I heard a loud pop/click in my otherwise totally silent vehicle and looked down to see the gas pedal rising up from the floor. I was then able to start it normally and drive a few blocks home to my garage. Today I have contacted a large dealership (not the smaller one where I bought this new vehicle off the showroom floor 6 months ago) to see if incidents similar to this incident had occurred with their customers. The receptionist canvassed 4 service techs who had heard of no such thing. (The last time this happened to my knowledge was with Lexus and Camry in 2007, when 5 people died in high speed highway crashes in California and the gas pedal assemblies were recalled. Toyota attributed the gas pedal malfunction to floor mats at the time. Congressional hearings were held.) The floor mats in my vehicle are rubber trays molded to the shape of the individual interior. They cannot move or impede the gas pedal in any way. My vehicle has been serviced by the dealership on schedule since purchase March 10, and the monthly vehicle report--testing conducted remotely--I receive by email finds nothing wrong with any component. However, the highly advertised safety and convenience features of this 2021 vehicle expired on September 10 and are now available only by paid subscription

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
1 complaint
First problem occurred on Sunday, August 15, 2021 (Mileage: 4,514) when the dashboard displayed: "Engine Malfunction, Power Reduced, Service Now" Warning light came on. The same day, I left a VM with Service Manager at CONICELLI dealership (as well sent pic and video of another repeat problem w/the front passenger window) who called me back the next morning stating if the WARNING message is off its okay to drive it to dealership in which I did on 8/16/2021 (by the way, when arriving the warning did not display, but again I had taken picture) After having my vehicle for a little over any hour I was told they had to call NISSAN about the problem and they were instructed to replace a sensor, the gear shift, and battery (since I had been having problems with starting the vehicle, it takes 2-3 "PUSH START" before the vehicle turns on. Now because it will take about 3 weeks for all the parts to come in it okay for me to drive the vehicle since the warning light went off. I said that I DID NOT feel safe driving the vehicle and want to be placed in a rental until they can complete the repairs. The Service Manager (Mark) said again since the light was off its okay, I just need to be concern if the comes back on begin flashing. I did not think it should be driven until the repairs was done because it is an unsafe condition for me and everyone else on the road. But I took the vehicle. The next morning the light came back on and stayed (Mileage: 4,594) on for the enter 45 minute drive and it did not drive well (it was sluggish). I called and complained to NISSAN HQ and Service Manager, Mark at CONICELLI. They only want to repair the sensor and battery because they have those parts and call me when the gear shift comes in and I return to get that fix. I was like that's unacceptable, I don't want a partial fix I want the problem fully fixed and I want a rental while YOU wait all the parts. He wants me in rental but none available, YET I reserved a rental after R call.

Purchsed a new 2021 Rouge SL, I had the car for 2 days and the check engine light came on, I took it to the service center where all they did was clear the code. The very next day the car would not go into any gear and the check engine light came on again, this time they are saying it is the filler neck to the fuel tank. The rear seats also will not let down unless you push against the back of the seat and pull the lever hard, then had issues of the latch not locking the seat in a upright position unless you basically push the seat hard.

I had just filled up my tank and was leaving the local gas station. My car would not move. This was not the result of the gas I just put in it. Additionally, the electrical display on the dashboard was wreaking havoc. It told me to put my foot on the break to start my car, even though the car had to be running to have the blue tooth connected and me speaking on the phone with the car door wide open. Best of all, the assistance button to call for help, wouldn't work because it wouldn't start. The car has less than 3K miles on it, it had to be towed to the dealership. Because my car is so new I was told the part is on back order. They are waiting on a fuel pump in hopes of keeping the car running to find out what is causing the electrical issues. I waited 30 years to get a new car, and now I am afraid of it. Looking at the reviews and troubles other have had with theirs is disheartening.

1. Rattling noise. Front driver door rattle around the window switch area (happens in some temperature like early morning, late night time, and driving on rough road). Center dash near the ac vent and hazard light area (happens driving on rough road at night time when the car cools down). Front passenger door rattles happen driving on all rough road. I think I hear something from the sun roof too or maybe it’s coming from the passenger side. 2. Passenger door sound like there is something loose around the mirror area. Just Park the car. You can hear it outside at night time when you close the door with normal force. 3. Driver side under the kick panel there is a plastic pieces not putting together right. It looks like it falling apart. 4.Driver door there is a little hole on the inside leather. I notice it when the car is like 2 days old when I was washing the car. 5. On the driver side fender is making noise when you push on it when the car is parked and at lower temperature time. 6. The engine oil thing keeps showing up. Sometime it says service due now or sometime it says service due soon. (First time it happened at 151 miles into this new car. Second time around 300 miles then around 500 miles then 1264 miles into the car then 1387 miles then 1779 miles then 2225 miles then 2477 miles). 7. The AC sync button light does not turn off when tri-zone ac is not in sync. 8. The AC light is not on when on auto mode. 9. The new Nissan digital dashboard at night time light does not dime right. there is a software issue. 10. propilot assist will pull the car to the left if there is a car next to my left. If there is a car on my right then it will pull me to the right.
