My vehicle has been receiving these important safety recall since July of 2025. Everytime that I call ( 18 times ) for an appointment to fix this recall notification, I CAN NOT get a appointment. I live in Pittsburgh and we are experiencing the coldest temperatures in 30 years. I do not want my engine to give out with my grandkids in the vehicle. Please assist !

White smoke poured out of exhaust upon starting vehicle. When driving the vehicle will smoke and lose power/go into limp mode not letting you accelerate essentially causing you to stop in the middle of traffic or highway and causing the heat not to work. Same model with different vin numbers are already on recall but my vin number is not even though it’s the same engine and I’m having the same issues as the current recall

I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue in New Jersey. Approximately 45 days after purchase, Nissan issued multiple safety recalls involving a risk of crash. The manufacturer failed to provide the required parts and did not remedy the safety defects within a reasonable time. I repeatedly requested a manufacturer buyback or a rental vehicle while waiting for recall repairs, but Nissan refused both requests. Due to the unresolved safety risk and lack of any reasonable solution, I was forced to sell the vehicle at a significant financial loss. This complaint concerns Nissan’s failure to timely remedy a known safety defect and the resulting consumer harm.

Rear hatch window on my wife's 2023 Nissan Rogue shattered while parked inside of or residential garage. Damage happened between the hours of 12am and 7am this date. Vehicle was stationary and not in motion. Temperature of garage was 46 degrees as shown on our garage door opener panel. As per an internet search, this is an ongoing problem with the 2012 to 2025 Nissan Rogue. I attempted to contact Nissan North America on this date but their offices are closed until Monday January 26, 2026. Dealership stated this date that they do not repair windows and DID NOT STATE THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH THE ROGUE VEHICLE. Vehicle is not driven that much and as of this complaint on has 6,768 miles on the odometer.

EGR valve and oil leaking The malfunction light came on and the car reduced power and almost killed me on the highway in Dallas Tx! Yes has been confirmed by trophy Nissan in Mesquite! I have also had to replace motor mount transmission mount torque strut mount the turbo hose! I have seen like 50 people have the same problem and saying they paid over $2000 to fix and car still breaks down! I will be contacting a lawyer! Every 2023 rogue with all these same problems need to be taken out of service and we need to be compensated! It should be illegal for a business to sell “new” cars that are unsafe with this many problems! It isn’t right for my first time going to a car dealership to buy a reliable car because I drive out of town for work and get a piece of crap car!! I could have bought a cash car and these same problems!!! Ughhhhh

Jc Billon supposedly fixed the gas line recall but unfortunately my car still smells like gas from time to time and I have reached out numerous times with no call backs and they still have not reached out about the engine recall
Jan 21, 2026
I was driving home at night when my car broke down on the highway. I had to leave the car there and take an Uber home. The next day, I had the car towed to the nearest Nissan Service Center to have it check/repair. They did the diagnostic and they didn't know what's going on with the car, a few days later they told me that the Engine was damaged and needed to be replaced but they were waiting for Nissan to approve it. It took 2 and a half weeks to get the car repair. After the repair, I still have the engine lights come up and the car jerks when accelerating; I reported these issues to Customer Affairs and they didn't do anything about it; they also told me that there is another recall pending and will be taken care of in January. This is not the first time the car broke down, I had all engine lights come up before and had to run the the Nissan Service center; they told me that the fuel gasket was leaking. I don't feel safe driving this car; I have to commute to work everyday and I'm afraid that is going to break down again. I bought a Nissan car because I had like 4 different Nissan models before and they always have been very reliable cars, but this time I think I got a lemon and Nissan don't feel like they need to replace it. I have all the recordings going back and forth with the Customer Affairs where they confirm that it was they fault the car broke down.

I HAVE THE SMELL OF RAW FUEL COMING ENGINE AFTER ENGINE IS SHUT OFF . THE IS VERY NOTICEABLE INSIDE CABIN AREA, AND OUTSIDE OF CAR IF IT IS IN GARAGE. THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN BROUGHT UP TO MY NISSAN DEALER EACH TIME I BRING IT IN FOR SEVICE. I RECIEVE THE SAME ANSWER EACH TIME THERE NOTHING FROM NISSAN ON THIS ISSUE. THE SMELL OF GAS IS OVER BEARING AT TIMES , AND I'M AFRAID THAT IT MAY CATCH FIRE. THIS HAS BEEN A ONGOING PROBLEM SINCE I PURCHACED THE CAR NEW.
Jul 09, 2025
There is an intermittent smell of gas/exhaust fumes in the cabin since purchasing the car. Nissan says there is no issue and offers no fix but I have never owned a car that had this type of smell in the cabin unless there was something wrong. The smell can be so bad as to cause nausea and headaches.

2023 Nissan Rogue constantly smells of gas fumes on the interior. I have had my vehicle in numerous times over the last few months because the fumes are making me lightheaded to the point that I need to pull over and I constantly have headaches. I have a complaint filed with Nissan and their "fix" is to compensate me for my inconvenience with no genuine concern over the fact that this is causing health issues. They released a new supposed fix which is a replacement of another hose. I'm concerned about my health but also the safety of myself and others while I'm driving due to feeling so lightheaded.

Very strong fuel smell comes from the engine compartment after driving. When I am in stop start driving it enters through the vent and the smell is strong in the cabin. Had it to the dealer two times. They attempted a fix which did not work the first time. I brought it in again today and they stated this is a known problem and that it is under engineering review and there is no fix for it currently.

My car has a horrible gas oder, at first only noticed it in the garage but the more I drive it the more I can smell it. Cannot put windows down while driving or you just smell gas. If you run lots of errands in a day you can start to smell it as you approach your car in the parking lot. I have had it in to nissan twice and all they do is replace a hose. But it is not a fix in fact it doesn't help at all

Bought a new 2023 Nissan Rogue last week with 8 miles on it. Drove the vehicle on a 12 hour trip. Filled up the gas tank and gasoline smells were terrible inside the vehicle. Went on the internet to research this and found there are many who have this problem and Nissan is doing NOTHING to fix it. To make matters worse, it appears that John Deery Motors, Cedar Falls, Iowa just committed "Consumer Fraud"..........they knew that this problem existed and they continue to sell the vehicles WITHOUT telling the consumer.

Oct 31, 2025
Two weeks ago my 2023 Nissan broke down on the highway and with reduced power mode we were able to bring it to the closest Nissan dealer. When we got there it was closed but we left the car and asked for a Recall inspection due to the note that displayed on the dashboard matching what we had received in recall. We were informed Monday that it has nothing to do this the recall... we went back and forth with our Nissan dealer and called Nissan corporate and they refused to do the recall assessment which would be looking for metal shaving in the oil pan. They claimed this was because there was not sufficient enough evidence, even though there has been rattling, when I got an oil change he said it was very messy, our thermometer is broken and now I broke down on the highway. They still claimed there was not enough to warrant the assesment. They determined it was the IVT sensor which was a $1,432 fix. We went back and forth with Nissan corporate again to get the recall assessment done so that we could know if this was affecting why we needed a new part that shouldnt need to be replaced so early.... but we were denied again. We paid the money, but are still having issues with our car and Nissan dealer and corporate outright refused to evaluate our car for safety recall Engine issues affected by recall. Forward collision alarm set off causing the car to stop and steering to change while in cruise control this was on the freeway. This happened even after the sensors were changed. The car needs to taken off the road before someone is seriously injured or killed.

Ever since I purchased my 2023 Nissan Rogue in December 2023, on long treks, the Intelligent Cruise Control will just randomly shut off while driving down the interstate going 70+ mph on a clear day with no bad weather while other cars are around. Meaning, the car will suddenly slow down without braking in traffic and say that the forward driving aids are disabled, potentially causing an accident. In March 2025 I finally decided I'd had enough of this unsafe situation and asked the dealership to fix it, and they tried but failed. I asked again recently in November, and the dealership tried but failed to resolve the issue, and it persists. I can drive the vehicle but need to avoid using all of the safety features I have paid for in my expensive vehicle or risk my life to use them.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 50 MPH, she heard a chime and then the vehicle's forward collision brake system independently engaged. The contact stated that his oldest son did not see anything in front of the vehicle. The contact stated that his wife said the vehicle pulled sharply to the right and drove down an embankment and onto a property. The contact stated that the vehicle crashed head-on into a stack of railroad ties. All of the air bags had deployed. The contact stated that both his wife and oldest son were shaken but had minor injuries, mostly bruises on their shoulders and waists from the seat belts and abrasions on their hands and foreheads from the air bags. The contact said that there was a hole in the windshield on the driver's side that had sent glass fragments into his wife's scalp and feet, but no major lacerations. The contact stated that his youngest son, who was seated behind the older brother, had not suffered any severe injuries. The contact stated that his wife was transported to the emergency room and that both sons were treated on site but not transported. The state police arrived and filed a report, but the contact did not have the report number. The vehicle's front end was crushed to the wheel wells. The contact stated that the driver's side front and rear axles were fractured, and both tires had blown out. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact stated that prior to the accident, the vehicle's motor had been replaced in June of 2025. The failure mileage was approximately 65,500.

While driving on the highway going 65mph my forward collision popped up and no car or pedestrian was in front of me. Then my check engine light came on and my car started to slowing down. I had to immediately get off the highway and stopped by O’Reilly were the guy had to reset the lights so I could at least get home. This is not the first time this has happened. This happened to me a month ago and luckily I was a mile from home where I was able to park my vehicle but the next day everything was off and I was able to drive my car normal to work. I’m not sure what’s going on with this vehicle. But I only had it for 3 months and I purchased this vehicle from carmax. It hasn’t affected my safety yet, but there is a possibility every time I drive my vehicle while those lights are on. Nissan had a recall on the Turbo Hose. Neither the dealer (Carvana) or the manufacturer (Nissan) told us about the recall until the matter was too late. It is available to inspect upon request. My car stop in the middle of the HWY without notice, warning, caution lights on dash, etc. My fiancés, daughter, and myself lives were all in danger as we were all in the car. Because the turbo hose was not replaced there was insufficient air flow to the engine. It acts as a conduit for air, connecting components like the air intake to the turbocharger, the turbocharger to the intercooler, and the intercooler to the engine's intake manifold. The car has been inspected by 2 mechanical shops whom have both said the exact same thing and auto zone diagnostic tool.

While driving my 2023 Nissan Rogue, the engine suddenly stalled as I approached a stop sign. The dashboard lit up with multiple warning lights, including the oil pressure warning. When I attempted to restart, the vehicle made a loud grinding/knocking sound, failed to start properly, and then shut off again. I was unable to restart the vehicle myself. Later, at the dealership, they reported that they were able to turn it on and drive it, but they could not confirm the stall I experienced. The vehicle has also shown other concerning symptoms: shaking when idling, jerking when stopping or accelerating, and occasional grinding noises. My local Nissan dealer eventually reported a broken transmission mount but did not find engine or transmission codes. I am very concerned that my symptoms (stalling, oil pressure light, grinding on restart) are consistent with the open recall for engine bearings on this model. The dealer admitted they currently have no guidance or remedy from Nissan for this recall, so no proper inspection or fix could be performed. Safety Hazard: This is a serious safety issue. The car stalled unexpectedly in traffic, leaving me without power. I was unable to restart it, and I feared the engine could fail completely at higher speeds, which could put me and others at risk. Concern: Nissan has not yet provided dealers with instructions or remedies for this recall, leaving owners with unsafe vehicles on the road. I strongly believe my case should be investigated as part of the bearing recall.

The first time I was on the I expressway the car started to loose power I had the pedal to the floor and it wouldn't go. Took it to the dealer and they kept it for a week they changed the turbo and another recall part. Then it drove okay for maybe a month and started right back again loosing power idling I took it to the nissian they said its a recall on the engine bearings and there wasn't nothing that could be done. The transmission is constantly acting like its going out cause it takes a minute to go into the next gear. Im a traveling nurse I lost my contract due to not having a reliable vehicle it wouldnt start some days nissian checked the battery said it was good they couldnt figure out rhat issue. I bought a new battery still the same issue then I was driving down a busy street, I started smelling gas or a muffler smell the check engine light came on and then I took it to nissian. Nissian said the parts for the engine bearing is in but we cant fiix the recall until the check engine light is off. They did a diagnostics test and said its the EGR valve and control system. They want me to pay over 3000 dollars and refuse to fix it. Ive had the car for 9 months and even though the issue started before my warranty was up they refuse to fix it. Ive attached the first invoice and its at nissian right now I dont have the invoice yet.

Since last November 2024 I have been trying to see what is wrong with my car. Previously I took it to Nissan for a thoroughly check just for them to tell me I went over my miles and they wasn’t able to fix my car with my warranty. I have taken my car to 3 different places where they all tell me different things are wrong but that is not the problem. The noise has been coming from my engine sounding like something is going to break on my car. The more I push down on the accelerator the more worst the noise get. I am tired of driving this car like this and I don’t know how to fix it. If I have to I will be getting my lawyer involved for negligence.

While I was driving out of state on [XXX], 2024, the engine light came on and stated "engine malfunction power reduced." Immediately the acceleration to the car was out. I was barely able to go 50 or 60 mph on the highway where everyone else was going 70 or 80 mph. Additionally the AWD light came on saying it was disabled as well. We were able to make it to safety, get a rental car, and then take my car to the nearest Nissan dealership in LaCrosse WI. I left my car there and waited to hear back about what was needed to repair the car. After talking to the service manager, Mike, he indicated he would talk to Nissan Corporate and let me know. Nissan Corporate advise the service team to clean the part in the car (the actuator?) and put it back in and that would fix it. This did not work because as I was driving back home to Mankato MN from LaCrosse WI, the same engine light came on while I was on the same highway going in 70 mph traffic. Again the car would barely go 50 to 60 mph, but we made it to a nearby gas station and called Nissan Roadside assistance. They towed my vehicle to the closest Nissan dealership in Rochester and it's been there since [XXX], 2024. Today's date is May 24, 2024. This dealership service shop has now replaced 3 parts (sensors?) and they were bringing my car back to me today Friday May 24, 2024. They were scheduled to arrive before 11:00am CST. At 11:42pm, I received a text from the service person I've been working with stating that: My car "had the issue again. We call Nissan and they told us to tow it back to our shop, as of right now stay in the rental but will be towed back today." I called the Rochester dealership around 2:00pm to see if they had any updates but they were still waiting for the car to get towed back and they had no other information. There were no other warning or error messages prior to this happening on [XXX], 2024. While driving 40-50 mph, my vehicle abruptly dropped to a speed of below 20 mph without warning, scaring me to the point of nearly driving off the side of the road, almost getting rear-ended, and catapulting me forcefully toward my windshield. Simultaneously, this warning light and exact message appeared with a very loud alarm/chime - ️ Warning Engine Malfunction Power reduced Service Engine Now The initial occurrence happened on 07/03/2024 with my vehicle having only 10,208 miles. The same issue has occurred several times since. My vehicle has been inspected by the dealership/manufacturer where they have been unable to reproduce or replicate the problem. I have reported this to Nissan Consumer Affairs as well. The current recall on my vehicle that was announced in July 2025 associated with an engine bearing recall and its safety warnings correlate very closely with what I have experienced. This vehicle is unpredictable and unsafe to drive due to being no warning of the vehicle speed possibly dropping from a 70 mph highway speed down to 20 mph in a split second without warning. This is not only a danger to me and my passengers, but to the other potential vehicles and pedestrians around my vehicle. My vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

When I first purchased the vehicle I started to smell gasoline inside the vehicle and then it became worse and now I smell it outside and inside the vehicle my garage smells of gasoline. The engine on echo mode gets 35mpg which I was told it should be less than that. The engine loses power, it makes noises, is very rough felling when driving, it seems that the vehicle is getting worse by the day. The gasoline smell is so bad I have to get out of the vehicle because it starts burning my eyes and then I get chest pain/burning.

My 2023 Nissan Rogue is currently at the Avondale Nissan Dealership in Avondale, AZ. I have been taking it between service appointments and the check engine and recall for the pass 4 Months then a week ago it stop while driving to my mailbox and acted like it was in an accident. Each time I have taken to the dealership they stated it unfortunate would have to wait until something worse happen because they couldn’t see it in the codes. Now that what was described has happened the dealership is stating I have to pay 3500 to determine if it is the engine. Before they can determine if it’s part of the recall after 4 months of me asking for the help and describing how the car was running.

I own a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV, I have a consistant odor problem, I have talk to corporate, and my dealer and neither will take responsiblity for the problem. The odor of gasoline smell is both outside and inside of the vehicle. I am going tomorrow (again) to the dealer to get some computer update and will again ask why they cannot fix this problem.

After driving my 2023 Nissan Rogue for approximately 1.5 months (1700 miles) I started smelling a gas odor inside the cabin while driving and while parked. The smell is causing my eyes and throat to burn and occasional nausea. While parked in my garage the smell becomes so overwhelming that I must remove the vehicle from the garage to "air out" for a few hours. Since I have an attached garage the smell is also permeating the house. My husband checked the oil dipstick and found it to have a very strong gasoline odor. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer. I was told the smell is normal since this is a new turbo engine, it should be expected. I have contacted Nissan corporate regarding a fix or buyback and was told that I do not qualify. I have concerns regarding my health due to long term exposure to VOCs. I have safety concerns related to VOCs accumulating in my garage. I have mechanical concerns do to the inadequate venting of gasoline and gasoline in my oil. Will this cause the engine and other parts to fail?

Within the first week of owning my 2023 Nissan Rogue, the vehicle began losing power from highway speeds to around 20 mph, stalling during turns, shaking violently, and displaying warning lights. These issues continued for over a year. Several times I nearly crashed because the vehicle suddenly slowed down or lost power on the highway. Nissan repeatedly told me nothing was wrong, but the vehicle was later included in Recall 25V-437 for engine bearing failure. The vehicle became unsafe to drive, and the engine behavior matched the symptoms described by others in the recall.

2023 Nissan Rogue (VIN [XXX] ) repeatedly stalled, lost power from 60 mph to 20 mph, shook violently, illuminated warning lights, and nearly caused multiple accidents. Defects began within weeks of purchase and continued for over a year. These symptoms match NHTSA Recall 25V-437 / R25A8. Nissan denied the problem until after the recall was issued. The vehicle is unsafe and should be investigated for broader failure patterns. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Major engine problems. The engine has loud knocking noise. While driving the car it shakes badly. When the hood is open you can see the engine jumping and it’s not properly secured. The engine can fall out causing a safety hazard and accident. Vehicle is not safe to drive. When driving the car loses speed immediately going over 55 mph.

My New 2023 Nissan Rogue encountered a warning "Engine Malfunction Power reduced Service Now" after the car was driven 4600 miles in July 28th 2023. The car did not accelerate higher than 15 miles/ hr with the warning and it was difficult to change lanes while driving the vehicle to Nissan Service at Jeff Wyler Nissan, Eastgate, Ohio - 45103. The warning light went off after the car was restarted a couple of times and the technicians at Nissan service did not find any issue. The issue again resurfaced in 02 Dec 2023, and the car was not running higher than 15 miles/hr. The warning went off after the car was restarted a couple of times. Jeff Wyler Nissan Service again did not found any issue upon inspection. Reached out to Nissan Motors Customer Service and they did'nt give any solution and asked me to report the issue to the dealer if the issue resurfaces again. My family of 3 have a single car and I feel unsafe to drive this car with a 22 month old infant. When the issue occurs it becomes very risky and unsafe to even change lanes as the car does not move more than 15 miles an hour. Both the times when this issue occurred, huge traffic jam is caused on the road, at the back of my car since the car doe not accelerate and I am subjected to frequent honking. I feel afraid if this incident happens in the Interstate highway then this can cause a life risk for me and my family.

The car often emits a strong gasoline odor. When I enter my garage, and the doors are closed, I often smell a strong odor of gas coming from the car. On occasion I have turned on the fan for the heater and I get the odor of gasoline inside the cabin of the car. There have been no visible leaks that I can see but I am very concerned about breathing these fumes and about the risk of a fire. This issue has been going on for at least two months. I called the dealer and they advised they are aware of an issue but stated there are no recalls and nothing they can do at this time.

There is a strong odor of gasoline in the cabin of the vehicle when driving. The gasoline smell is also strong in the front of the car. I cannot park the vehicle in the garage due to the smell. I am afraid of a fire. I contacted Nissan who said they were aware of this issue and said they were investigating, but have no solution. Even though they have been aware of this issue since the 2022 model came out and never contacted me and continued selling the vehicle. I took the car to Mankato Nissan for inspection who verified the odor but said they could not find anything and had no solution.

My vehicle, VIN [XXX] , was operating normally when a check engine light appeared, along with a message indicating engine malfunction and loss of power. I took the vehicle to an authorized Nissan dealership, Reed Nissan Orlando, where I was assisted by service advisor Aaron Berning. At the dealership, I was informed that the vehicle had an active turbocharger recall, which could be related to the issue. The recall repair was performed; however, the vehicle was returned to me with the check engine light still illuminated and continued loss of power, despite having no such issues prior to the recall service. The dealership documented an engine problem in writing on the service invoice (Invoice No. XXX, dated 09/04/2025) but refused to repair it, stating that the issue was not covered under the recall. Despite the problem arising immediately after the recall repair, I was required to pay out-of-pocket for a diagnostic inspection. Approximately one week later, the vehicle again experienced engine failure and significant loss of power, making it unusable. I contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs (Nissan North America), but after reviewing the dealership’s position, Nissan chose to uphold the decision not to cover the repairs. Due to the unresolved mechanical issue, the vehicle became inoperable, causing loss of income, as I rely on the vehicle for work with delivery and rideshare services. I was ultimately unable to continue payments on the financed vehicle, resulting in repossession by the lender. I am submitting this complaint as a last resort and respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and investigated, as the vehicle did not present these issues prior to the recall service. While driving, the engine started making a loud rattling noise, as if there were loose parts inside. The noise increases when accelerating, and the vehicle has noticeably lost power, especially during gear shifts. It feels like the transmission is struggling or the engine isn’t delivering enough power. This issue raised safety concerns because the vehicle doesn’t respond properly when accelerating or merging into traffic.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35-40 MPH, the vehicle started lagging and lost motive power as if the vehicle would shut off. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) code was displayed on the instrument panel with an engine malfunction. The failure occurred the following morning. The vehicle was towed to the dealer however, the dealer could not retrieve the CVT code to determine the cause of the failure. The dealer stated that the transmission fluid would be flushed and refilled as a temporary repair until the vehicle could be diagnosed and CVT code had been retrieved. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 58,000.

While attempting to accelerate up a hill the vehicle's engine rapidly increased RPM to 3500 and then down to 2000 and back up to 3500 repeatedly with no increase in speed or change of pressure on the gas pedal. Also, from a stopped position at a red light, the vehicle would shudder/shake when the tachometer reported between 1500 and 2000 RPM, while attempting to accelerate. Finally when shifting from reverse to drive, the vehicle would shake/shudder while the RPM would increase to 4000 all while the car did not accelerate at all, and with no increase in pressure on the gas pedal.

Upon the light turning green and accelerating to 10-15mph, the parking brake spontaneously engaged locking up the rear wheels bringing the car to a immediate, unexpected and jarring stop in moving traffic. The vehicle was a rental and was not inspected afterwards. No warning lights appeared on the dash warning of the parking brake engagement nor did any appear after the parking brake was fully engaged.

Thought I was shot with a gun but after the cops came they checked my car and found out this exploding window is common with the newer Nissan Rogues. I have the incident on dash cam too. Dear Sir or Madam, I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue for $24,510.00 from a New Jersey Nissan dealership. Only 45 days after the purchase, Nissan issued two separate safety recalls involving a risk of crash. Nissan failed to provide the necessary parts for months and did not remedy the safety defects within a reasonable time, as required under the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Act (49 U.S.C. Chapter 301). I repeatedly contacted Nissan asking for: 1.a buyback at fair market value, and 2.a rental/loaner vehicle until the recall repairs were completed. Nissan refused both requests, which violates the New Jersey Lemon Law, the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act, and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. Because the vehicle was unsafe to drive and Nissan offered no solution, I was forced to sell it for $16,600.00. My financial loss is $7,910.00. I respectfully request: 1.A formal investigation into Nissan North America’s handling of these safety recalls, and 2.Assistance in recovering my $7,910.00 economic loss. So my engine failed at 70K. Nissan replaced it with a remanufactured engine the is failing faster than the original engine. Currently at 112K, I have replaced the catalytic converter, muffler, Egr sensor twice, mass airflow sensor and oil changes at 3K just to have the vehicle in the shop for 6-7 months in 2025 alone. Do not buy a 2023 Nissan Rogue with the 1.5L. The reman engine is under a safety recall for bearing degradation, but the dealership won't even look at it unless I pay upfront for a full diag fee of 4500 dollars for a wiring harness that is a secondary condition. Apparently the remedy won't be out until late in Q4 of 2025. No rental or loaner assistance was offered at all. The vehicle has a deep knocking and won't accelerate properly to use roads and interstate driving safely. The latest symptom is low oil pressure and stalling. Completly unsafe car and ridiculous amount of time getting repaired. All of this has been since October 31st of 2024.

At 7:20am on Dec 5, 2025, we used the remote start on our 2023 nissan rogue which was in our unopened garage. We heard a loud sound and walked out to find the back window shattered. I entered the 2023 Nissan Rogue around [XXX] on St. Simons Island GA, on [XXX] with my granddaughter. Upon shutting the doors, the rear hatchback window exploded into pieces and blew out. I had not left the parking place or cranked the car. The glass pieces were all over the road and on the inside of my car. The police were called and a report was filed. How was my safety put at risk? Besides being shocked and traumatized at what sounded like a gunshot, I am now concerned about driving this car again with a new rear window because I fear it could happen again at any time. I am also suffering from a form of PTSD with super loud noise. (I jumped off my yoga mat when someone dropped a metal cup that made a very loud noise during our practice.) I asked the dealership why it happened and I called the Nissan Customer Service Center and have yet to find out why this has happened. My own research has indicated that this problem has occurred in many 2023 Nissan Rogues. The car was inspected by the police and they saw no foul play. The dealership currently has the car and is currently waiting on a new rear hatch window and it will be replaced at no cost after I strongly urged that this car was under warranty and this appears to be a defect (although the dealership doesn't agree). No -- the problem has not been reproduced at the dealership since it does not involve a mechanical part. I contacted the Georgia Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division (CPD) to try to make a Lemon Law Report and the advisor I spoke to indicated that the problem had to occur more than once. Therefore I was unsuccessful in filing that report on April 2, 2025. Since the car had not been turned on, there were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms that the rear window was about to blow out. I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue from Galles Chevrolet, located at 2801 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, on May 17, 2025. According to the vehicle history report, the vehicle has an active stop-sale record issued by Nissan. I am unsure of the specific component or system affected. Still, cars under an active stop sale should not be sold until the underlying safety or performance issue has been addressed. Since purchase, we have already experienced several issues with the vehicle, including: Engine performance problems, such as stalling and unusual sounds during startup. Electrical and digital system malfunctions, including warning lights, dashboard errors, and intermittent failures of the infotainment system. Other mechanical concerns include inconsistent braking responses and occasional unusual vibrations from the suspension, as well as numerous other issues. The stop-sale record indicates a potentially serious defect that could put the driver or others at risk. I have not been able to confirm the exact nature of the defect or whether it has been repaired. However, there are still two campaigns/recalls associated with my VIN. I am submitting this report to NHTSA to request an investigation and ensure that the vehicle is safe for operation. All payments are current, and there have been no crashes, fires, or injuries associated with this vehicle to date.

I am reporting a serious safety issue after three service visits to Star Nissan. Most recently, on July 8, 2025, they performed a full transmission replacement under warranty (see invoice attached). Since receiving the car back, it now makes creaking noises, vibrates severely under acceleration and deceleration, and is completely unsafe to drive. The shaking is so bad I can feel it under my feet and seat, especially at highway speeds (40–50 mph). The car did not have these symptoms before the transmission repair. They claimed they did a test drive, but that is obviously false. This is now the third time I’ve had to return this vehicle for drivetrain-related issues, and I’ve been told to “wait until July 15th” with no resolution while my car is dangerous and undrivable. I’m reporting this as a potential safety risk, negligent repair, and breach of warranty, and I want Nissan investigated for returning vehicles in this condition. I’m afraid to drive it and feel completely ignored. This dealership needs to be held accountable, and Nissan should be required to take responsibility before someone gets hurt

Failed Power Train part that Nissan Knows about( TSB Notify to shops ) and is not willing to fix. This item is failing premature and can definitely be a safety hazard. My wife was driving this when it completely failed. She was afraid her car was falling apart, vibrating excessively. It is the Left hand side motor mounts. It causes serious vibration throughout the vehicle when driving or stopped. They issued a TSB NTB24-14 for 2021-2023 Nissan rogues. Looking back I would say there was small vibrations around 30-32K miles but it was just intermitting. I'm not a mechanic nor my wife. It would have been extremely dangerous to remain on the shoulder, especially after sunset, so after reading the owner's manual, I decided to travel the shoulder at the very reduced speed my vehicle allowed. After exiting to a safe location and refueling, I called 24/7 Nissan roadside assistance at 8:50 PM. I was told a tow truck would arrive around 10:20 PM, and I would receive text messages with status updates. I called three more times, at 9:32, 11:28, and 11:54 PM. I never received a text message because no towing providers were ever located and dispatched to my location. On the final call at 11:54, I was told they would try again at 8:00 AM. Centerville, Texas is a small town with a population under 1,000 people. I was left stranded nearly 150 miles from home in a non-major metropolitan city without ample resources such as uber to take me to the nearest hotel. Furthermore, had I not called back, no one from Nissan was going to inform me that I would not receive a tow. The engine failed while driving on the interstate at 65+ mph. The malfunction indicator lights came on and beeped loudly, including Engine Malfunction and AWD Malfunction (which I don't have). The vehicle lost power, and the engine began making a frightening noise. I had to get over several lanes with no working gas pedal, and I'm lucky nobody was hurt. I had to be towed thirty miles to the nearest dealership. The dealership, who didn't answer when I called ahead to let them know I was coming, was unhelpful, and employees made jokes about just trading it in instead of fixing it. They said it could be months, and that there's no remedy for the recall. I have to wait until they re-open on Monday to speak with anybody. The only symptom prior was that sometimes the vehicle wouldn't recognize my key fob being near/in the vehicle, but I thought it was a battery problem. I thankfully knew about the recall and mentioned it to the dealership, but they don't seem to be agreeable to loaning me a vehicle in the meantime, so this will be a difficult repair process.

Twice while driving my Rogue it has gone into a limp mode. First time car was towed to Ted Russell Nissan and they found no code for problem ,an update was installed. Second time I drove car to same dealership and again no code was found. The have now had my car for 8 days and can’t get car to duplicate problem. I have to take grandchildren to daycare and pick them up. Both times the problem occurred I had just dropped off 1 year old. My safety was impacted because of the amount of traffic in the hours of dropping off and picking them up. The only ones who have checked vehicle is the dealership. I know of recall. Nissan has been unable to address. Had my car go in for several malfunctions in August. Battery also bad. Now driving on [XXX] from San Antonio, TX, car malfunctioned. Car was unable to maintain speeds which could have caused an accident. Car under warranty for 1 more month. I was almost to new Braunfels, TX with my [XXX] in the backseat. Had to find a way home on backroads as it was also raining. I tried to have them resolve before and was told no remedy. Now I’m having engine issues. This could have resulted in a bad outcome due to these issues on a high speed Hwy and my car dropped to 35 and I was unable to go faster. This recall needs a remedy IMMEDIATELY. I will be contacting Nissan and local Nissan to address these issues now. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

I received notice late April from Nissan about this recall. I promptly scheduled an appointment to bring my vehicle in for repair. I was told parts were back ordered and would arrive early June. I have contacted the dealership (Vision Nissan of Greece, NY) and Nissan HQ to inquire and was told parts were on back order. I asked when parts would be available and was given no time estimate. I have to drive my vehicle from New York State to Texas for a move (over 2,000 miles) starting June 25 and I have serious concerns for my and my family's safety in the vehicle due to the recall. I would appreciate any assistance possible in getting this resolved. Thank you.

Error message on Dollar site said "... the location requires you to return the car to the renting location or to any corporately owned location on the agree to drop off date for technical inspection." Upon searching the vin - the car was under active recall, and the recall had not been remedied. I only found out because of the online web search on the NHTSA site. It appears the recall was issued Feb 28th, 2024, and then car was rented out prior to repairs.

This is a rental vehicle- I had several incidents when I could not stop the vehicle. Above the brake is a structural bar about 1/2" in diameter. I wear a size 13 shoe. At several red lights I tried to apply the brake but the car would not stop. (I did stop before hitting anyone) Upon investigation I discovered that my toe was pressing on the bar, not on the brake. Only when my shoe's heel was on the floor was I able to clear the bar and step on the brake. I normally keep my foot somewhat higher than the floor when braking my own car, so this was a dangerous surprise to me.

I have minor burning on the bottom and inside of my thighs. The fire department came to assess and do thermal imaging. It was determined the seats heating element shorted out. There was no warning lights indicating any issues prior to the incident. The heated seats light did begin to flash after the incident.

The food donations I picled up were at risk of not be able.to be served to shelter residents. I receibed and email stating that the fuel injectors and EGR Valve need to replace immediately totatling almost 5,000 after just paying $1700 last month. The main issue involves the engine bearings (recall campaign KR15, NHTSA ID 25V-437). According to Nissan, certain engines equipped with the 1.5L VC-Turbo have a manufacturing defect in the main, A-, C-, and L-link bearings or related components. This defect can lead to engine damage and, in some cases, complete engine failure. My vehicle is available for inspection upon request. This situation puts my safety and the safety of others at risk, because if the engine fails while driving, it may cause a sudden loss of motive power, significantly increasing the risk of a crash. I am especially concerned because I frequently drive on highways and in traffic conditions where a sudden loss of power could result in an accident. The issue has been confirmed by Nissan through the recall notice, but as of now, the remedy is still pending, and there is no immediate fix or available parts for the engine bearing defect. My vehicle has not yet been inspected by Nissan for this recall, and I have not received a loaner vehicle or alternative solution to ensure safety while the remedy is pending. In addition, there are two other active recalls: Turbo hose defect (Nissan ID P4A47) – may cause fuel vapor smell inside or around the vehicle. EEM Logic (Nissan ID P3A28) – related to the Underhood Switching Module (USM/IPDM), which may lead to a vehicle no-start condition. Before the engine problem fully manifests, there are warning signs including unusual engine noises, rough engine performance, and warning messages appearing on the dashboard, such as the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). These symptoms appeared progressively and have increased my concern about the possibility of a total engine failure while driving.

First issue: After starting the vehicle there can be a smell of gasoline in the passenger cabin for a little bit. Also after parking vehicle in garage and turning off engine, the garage smells of gas and remains overnight, it is not exhaust fumes. Sometimes it seems to be worse after driving in reverse. There is no sign of a liquid leak on the undercarriage or on the floor. Happens whether the gas tank is full or near empty. Vehicle is only 2 months since purchase. Second issue: The rear of the vehicle jerks sideways, usually toward the passenger side, when going over pavement joints, cracks or bumps. It is worse at highway speeds, but happens around town also. The rear of the vehicle doesn't seem to track straight when bumped. Took the vehicle to the dealer to check alignment and they said it was within specification and made no adjustments. The tire inflation is proper per the door jam. On some roads in bad weather it is a very uncomfortable feeling and feels like loss of control.

Battery had to be replaced during 1st oil change. Transmission failed at about 30,000 miles and was replaced. Transmission light went on again we were told it was the transmission it was the gear shift assembly (claiming something spilled in it - not true). Not covered and would cost $1350... charged $260 for diagnostic. Had repaired separately, Transmission light is still on. Claiming not covered under warranty even though car has about 80,000 highway miles. I think this car may have an undying electrical issue and our safety is at risk.

STEERING
2 complaints
To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to report a critical and life-threatening safety incident involving my Nissan Rogue. While driving at a sustained speed of 65 mph on a highway, the steering wheel suddenly locked aligned on right side without warning. This mechanical failure rendered me completely unable to steer, putting my life and the lives of others (including my friend’s little daughter) on the busiest highway in immediate danger. Somehow I was able to hit the hard brake and get on the right curb after two lane without any control on the wheel to slow down my car. This is an abnormal and catastrophic malfunction. The sudden loss of steering control at high speed could have easily resulted in a fatal accident. Fortunately, I was able to avoid a crash, but the incident left me heavily shaken and raises serious concerns about the safety integrity of this vehicle. I also got hurt in my right hand although no airbag was deployed. This incident appears to be the result of a manufacturer defect or electronic failure, not driver error or wear and tear. I am requesting that Nissan immediately investigate this issue, and I demand: 1.Full diagnostic evaluation at no cost to me 2.Repair or replacement of defective systems under warranty or recall terms 3.Compensation for the emotional distress, potential loss of life, and loss of vehicle use caused by this incident Should this be confirmed as a broader issue, I urge Nissan to initiate a recall to prevent others from suffering potential injuries or fatalities. A failure of this magnitude must be treated with the highest urgency. Please contact me promptly to confirm that you have received this complaint and to begin the investigation process. I am prepared to escalate this matter through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and pursue legal remedies if necessary. My vehicles tie rods broke on my way home from work while I pulled slowly onto a snowy road from my work driveway. I felt my car slide and tap the side of a curb, or so I thought. When I couldn't drive the vehicle I had to have it towed. The Nissan dealership I took it to said the damage, $9000, was caused by bumping into the curb. My insurance company did not agree with their repair amount and my vehicle was again towed to a nearby alternate dealership. After one month and half, my vehicle was repaired and I picked it up, only to find that the vehicle is intermittently vibrating and shaking. I believe this is the prelude for the same issue I had before. The break in the tie rods made me lose control of my vehicle. I have since seen tie rod recalls from Nissan and multiple complaints about the same issue. I am afraid for my safety while driving this vehicle. I contacted Nissan Consumers Complaints and they wanted me to wait for their 90 day investigation in order for them to take responsibility for anything, while I remained in a rental I had to pay for. This puts not only myself at a safety risk, but anyone who is driving with me or near me. I told that to Consumers Complaints. I don't want to see anyone else get hurt because of this issue. My vehicle is currently available for inspection. I am leasing it at $500 a month and am afraid to drive it.

Traveling on highway in Washington DC, cruise control shut off and powered down car, electrical warning for rear doors not closed, seat belt and airbag warnings. Engine lights came on by the time we got into NY, gas fumes in cabin, and oil was down 2 quarts. Car would not go over 40 at times. Car has been at dealership for over 65 days with work done to turbo, cvt transmission, bearings, leaks in headliner, oil consumption and electrical issues, etc. NCA and BBB claims filed, only given some of the work orders as dealership and NCA refuse to provide anything. Defect Form sent to NCA as well. Independent mechanic also reviewed car after it was initially returned to me for less than a week. Mechanic supplied a write up and pics confirming the transmission and oil leaks as well as leaks in engine and electrical issues were not resolved. In addition, the car now has water leaks on headliner and it smells moldy. Please note: this site only allowed me to add 1 document. Vehicle was brought in for an oil change and service appointment at the Nissan dealership the day before and was then driven 300 miles. The following day, it was being driven at 40-50mph in residential area when suddenly the gas pedal became unresponsive and the vehicle slowed down on its own in traffic. The message appeared on the screen "Engine Malfunction, Power Reduced, Service Now" and the car would no long go faster than 12 mph. The car had to be turned off and on 4 times before the error cleared and was then able to be driven again.

The forward collision warning sensor went out while driving. Took it to Granite Nissan in Rapid City, SD. They replaced it after a year of waiting on the part. The day after it was repaired, it went out again. They said they have no idea on how to fix the problem. This issue is very dangerous when it is icy outside. When the sensor goes out the car is very unstable. You can only drive at 25 MPH and that's pushing it. It seems like the car is trying to apply the brakes to all four wheels at once. The cruise control goes out and it is hard to maintain your speed with the pedal.

The Propilot safety system shuts down after 40 miles. Nissan has sent out a super technician and states there is no cure. This has gone on since I purchased the vehicle over a year ago. Nissan still has no cure. The Propilot system utilizes cameras and radar to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead and keep the vehicle centered in its lane. Hi Chris, We drove the Rogue to Larned Saturday from McPherson on [XXX] . The cruise control shut off 4 times. Forward driving aids disabled. It took 5 to 10 miles each time to reset, then it worked without stopping or turning off the car. There was a lot of traffic and there are several towns we went through. I don’t think the sensors were bored from a plain path. The sensors were not dirty. Does Nissan have a cure for this? Thanks, [XXX] This appears to be a normal operating characteristic of this vehicle. This problem occurs when the radar has no feedback due to what they refer to as barren conditions. Once the radar receives feedback the system returns to operating normally. I understand your concerns and frustrations, however, we cannot repair a vehicle that is operating as designed. Brand new car, picked up July 19 2023, 1st issue) July 22, 2023: 3 Days after i picked up my car, went for a long drive to Phoenix AZ from Tucson AZ. Parked in a corner mall for an hour, drove out from parking lot and we smelled strong gas odor. Checked A/C recirculation and it is set to RECIRCULATION. Drove for a couple miles and it was gone. 2nd issue) July 25, 2023. Going to work, already driven 1 and half miles away from my house. My A/C was set to 72c in Auto and on Sync, never changed it to anything else. My A/C Screen randomly shuts off and turned off the whole a/c system including fan. I it automatically resets and turned on after 1-2 seconds and it was defaulted to 75c with Sync off.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving an undisclosed speed, there was a loud popping sound coming from the vehicle, and the children inside the vehicle discovered that the rear windshield glass had shattered. Neither the dealer nor an independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the liftgate needed to be replaced because the glass was stuck inside. The rear windshield glass was replaced by the insurance company. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 29,509.

POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE
1 complaint
During highway driving, my 2023 Nissan Rogue experienced sudden loss of power and entered limp mode without warning. Engine RPM surged abnormally, forward driving and collision avoidance sensors became disabled, and the vehicle could not accelerate properly. The fuel range also dropped rapidly during this event. This created a dangerous situation in traffic (I was in the mountains in Virginia) and placed me and other motorists at risk. The condition is intermittent and did not leave diagnostic codes. The vehicle was taken to a Nissan dealership, where recall repairs and ECM reprogramming were performed, but no root cause was identified and there is no assurance the problem will not recur. I am concerned this is a serious safety defect involving loss of propulsion and disabled safety systems.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that after exiting the vehicle and walking away with the keys, the doors of the vehicle automatically locked as designed; however, the rear doors of the vehicle failed to unlock, preventing the contact's sister, who was occupying the rear seat, from exiting the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that upon returning to the vehicle, the contact became aware of the issue, and the contact also noticed that the front driver's side door failed to unlock as intended. The contact stated that the failure required the contact to enter the vehicle through the front passenger's side door to get the groceries out of the way for her sister to exit the vehicle through the front passenger's side door. The contact had briefly lost the keys and was able to unlock the doors after finding the keys. The contact stated that the rear doors' failure to unlock did not occur due to the child-lock system. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to start on another occasion. A mobile technician from a service contractor was able to jumpstart the vehicle. The technician also recommended that the battery be replaced. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.

What happened: The vehicle is a 2023 Nissan Rogue (VIN: [XXX] ). The engine failed twice: the first failure required major repairs, and the second resulted in complete engine shutdown. These issues are not related to the prior U.S. accident, which only affected the driver-side airbag. The engine and all critical systems were fully functional upon delivery and can be inspected upon request. The second failure occurred while traveling with my family in a remote desert area from Baghdad to Ramadi, putting our safety at serious risk and causing extreme fear and panic for my wife and [XXX] child. The problem recurred and was confirmed by local service centers during the first repair. There were no warning lights or prior symptoms before the sudden engine stoppage; the failure happened unexpectedly during normal use. There is an odd engine 'rattling', 'guzzling', 'slurping', type noise coming from the engine and the engine has begun to idle very rough even after fresh oil change. This is directly the issue cited from Nissan as recall with no current solution - which is unacceptable. We are not interested in waiting until the car malfunctions worse and in a dangerous way in order to get this recall addressed.

Once I exceeded 40 mph the car began to jerk violently, and as I tried to move over to the side of the road I couldn't fast enough the speed of the vehicle was locked at 5mph with the check engine light coming on and the "auto-start/off" indicator flashing, the violent jerking seemed to al so effect the vehicles air conditioning.

On Saturday, while driving my 2023 Nissan Rogue (currently under recall) down the highway, the vehicle suddenly lost all acceleration. At the same time, every warning light illuminated on the dashboard. This occurred without any prior warning, forcing me to quickly and unsafely maneuver to the shoulder of the road while traffic was moving at high speeds. Component or System That Failed: Powertrain/engine/acceleration system (vehicle is available for inspection upon request). Safety Risk: My safety and the safety of others were at risk because the sudden loss of acceleration occurred in the middle of highway driving, creating a dangerous situation where I could have been struck by oncoming vehicles. Reproduction/Confirmation: UNKNOWN. The incident has not yet been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Inspection Status: The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. Warning Lamps or Prior Symptoms: All warning lamps illuminated at the time of failure. There were no prior warning messages or symptoms before this incident occurred.

The screen turns off suddenly while the vehicle is in use. Additionally, the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system is either deactivated or displays as “off” when the car is started. The sudden deactivation of the AEB system compromises the vehicle’s ability to automatically brake in critical situations, increasing the risk of a collision. The screen turning off could also limit access to important vehicle information or controls, further impacting safety. No warning lamps appeared prior to the failure. The issue with the screen and AEB deactivation happens when the vehicle is started, but there were no prior warnings before this started occurring. After so many recalls, I no longer feel safe with this vehicle.

1 complaint
My 2023 Nissan Rogue with less than 38,000 miles is experiencing severe engine failure. This has happened multiple times (more than 30 times) on the highway and in the city. When I am in slow-moving traffic or stop at a red light, the engine appears to rev and a warning light comes up "Engine Malfunction. Power reduce. Service now." Then the speed reduced, and no matter how hard I stepped on the gas pedal, the speed would not go past 8 miles per hour. I had to turn on the hazard lights to warn motorists behind me. To get the car to function, I turned off the engine, let it cool for a few minutes, and turned it on again. This issue has been going on for months. I took it to the Nissan dealership, and they could not find the problem. I am afraid of driving in slow traffic and of stopping at the traffic light. Please, somebody, needs to pass this on to Nissan so they can fix this problem? From online discussions, this appears to be an ongoing problem with many 2023 Nissan Rogues.

But on my way back home ..... it happened again. This time I couldn't make it to Nissan but I made it to auto zone and a local shop in Orangeburg. They received 13 different codes. Again.... there's was nothing they could do so they man reset the codes in my car. Clear the code n I made it home safely with my family.

> I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue brand new and it now has only 32,000 miles. It has a major water leak—flooding the interior through the lights, vents, and floor—yet Nissan won’t cover it under warranty and State Farm denied my comprehensive claim. The vehicle has sat exposed for 3 weeks at the body shop during constant rain, worsening the damage. The car is now unsafe to drive. Nissan failed to disclosure valid and pertinent information regarding the limitations on their warranty coverage. Furthermore, Nissan failed to disclose maintenance guidelines for maintaining a sunroof. Additionally, regardless of any debris build-up, the size of the water lines are inadequate to hold large volumes of water at a given time. The amount of rain that has occurred in Alabama over the past 3 months super exceeds the capacity of these drainage tubes, leading to interior flooding that is detrimental to the integrity of the safety features in this vehicle. My lights, electrical panel, air bags, and electrical ports have all been impacted by this intrusion and now I'm left with a useless, unsafe, and unpredictable vehicle that has a total of 32,000 miles. This is fraud and deceptive behavior that should be made public. I believe others need to know this could happen. I’d appreciate your help.

My 2023 Nissan Rogue had recorded tread wear from 3 mm to 4 mm of tread left from my maintenance printouts I received from my dealer that started at around 16,000 miles (November 2024) despite having my vehicle serviced at a Nissan Service facility as per the recommended maintenance schedule from Nissan Motors. This was a potentially very dangerous situation with possible snow conditions that are associated with New England Winters. My tires were also rotated on a regular basis as well as per the recommended maintenance schedule for my 2023 Nissan Rogue. The tires that came with my car orignally were the Dunlop GrandTrek. I waited as long as I could to purchase a new set of tires because they were costly and I didn't have the money. My total bill came out to around $1,300 which included a recommended four wheel drive wheel alignment.

There was no incident, just routine occurrences of the following that could lead to one: 1) the wipers do not clear the upper right (passenger) side of the windshield, creating a blind spot, which is especially dangerous when turning. Photo attached, though note this is a mild instance and visibility can be much worse. 2) the rearview camera has been blacking out while the car is in reverse. The black screen lasts about a second and is becoming more common, maybe once a day. 3) the power steering goes out occasionally, which I am strong enough to deal with, but would be difficult for my children (who also drive the car) to deal with.

After an oil change at a Certified Nissan dealership, the left rear seat belt sensor was indicating on the dash board that someone was sitting in there and was strapped, so the light had a green check, but there was no one in that seat plus the seat belt was not even strapped. The next day, the front passenger seat belt also went awry. With no one in the seat, the seat belt sensor started beeping which means it believed someone was in that seat unstrapped, but again, no one was in it. I have only ownes the car for 4 months, the car is clean and there is no debris in the seat belt latch system. There is definitely something wrong with the seatbelt sensors.

I took my car to the Nissan dealer because sometimes when I am stopped with my foot on the brake the engine will start to accelerate trying to overcome the brake. The only thing I can do to stop this is turn off the engine. This has happened 4 times in the last month and not before. The dealer was unable to find anything wrong and could not duplicate this action. I have now been referred to Nissan consumer Affairs, Bureau of Automobile Repair, New Motor Vehicle Board and now your agency, I feel that this vehicle to drive because it could cause damage to me, my car and the the public. The last time this occurred I was stopped coming out of shopping center waiting for the traffic to clear when the car started accelerating which would have pushed me into the oncoming traffic. In September 2024 I too my car to Bedford Nissan in Ohio. They did an oil change and since then my car has been having issues. When reversing and switching into drive my car jerks extremely hard. I contacted them to let them know and they advised me to bring the car in to get it looked at. Due to my life situations, I was unable to do so at that time. In the beginning of October 2024 my car completely shut down. I was unable to shut it off with the push button or change gears. All of the lights on the dashboard came up. It took me almost 20 minutes for it to finally restart. I contacted Nissan immediately and they advised to bring it back to them. My 2023 brand new car already had a dead battery, faulty wires in the car, the screen goes in and out, and had an Axcel leak. The supposedly fixed these issues. A few weeks later I am having the same exact problems. I have contacted Nissan consumer affairs multiple times. I have reached out to the dealership. I do not get calls back or help to fix the issues that keep reoccurring.

I am a CPST Instructor and was performing a car seat check. The choices offered for the model of child safety seat did not include the seat I'm checking. Specifically, the seat is a Graco TrioGrow SL, Model 2087507, Manufactured 07/19/2023. My issue is with the possibility of a missing part. This seat model name has SL at the end. In my experience, this indicates that the seat has a lock-off; the manufacturer refers to it as a SnugLoc. When I was examining the CSS, I noted that there was an oblong cavity in the back of the CSS and a metal bar at the top of the cavity, behind the seat pad. This would be the location of the lock-off for a forward-facing installation. My question is, is this seat missing that part and the stickers that indicate it's use? The contact stated he corresponded with Graco and found that the lock-off is not missing. The lock off was for rear facing and the lock-off has to be lifted/rotated to the forward-facing position.

The cruise control and safety driving system shuts off and the message “Forward driving aids disabled. Front sensor blocked” comes on. This happens every few miles now. Pulling over, shutting off the engine, and restarting it resets the system, but it cuts out again. Sometimes if I just keep driving, it will reset itself in a few miles. This has been dangerous at highway speeds due to it coming on and vehicle decelerating suddenly. It's also dangerous because it shuts off the vehicle avoidance system. In a 4 hour trip it can happen up to 6 to 8 times. We've taken it to dealership, but they have not found an error message etc and said they cannot do anything about it unless the issue gets worse or a recall is created for the Lane Camera, which has had reported issues of overheating. In the 5mph stop and go traffic of leaving a sloped parking garage, the brakes did not respond to repeated attempts to stop the Rogue. The brakes did not work with pumping them, hard pressure or light pressure. No collision warning alerts activated. (No beeping, lights or camera occurred as it usually does when an object is close to the vehicle.) No emergency braking activated. The only thing that stopped the Rogue was the impact with the vehicle in front of me. There is damage to the front bumper as well as the rear bumper of the car I hit. I turned off the car for 2 minutes and turned it back on to move it out of the way of the traffic behind me. The brake function returned as normal as did the collision warning alerts. The Rogue was taken to the Nissan dealership from which I purchased it. They state that they are waiting for a Nissan representative specialist to come to the location to attempt to reproduce the issue and fix the problem. There have been zero previous incidents of any kind with this vehicle. I purchased it new in March, 2023. The insurance claim has been filed but no body repairs have been scheduled because the priority is the brake system failure.

On November 12, 2022, I purchased a brand new Nissan Rogue 2023. Within a few weeks of driving this brand new car, the check engine light came on. A few days after the check engine light appeared, the car almost shut down while I was making a left turn at a light. I called the Nissan dealership where I purchased the car and they told me to bring the car in for inspection. While driving on the interstate highway to get to the dealership, the check engine light changed to "Engine malfunction." Immediately, the car stopped functioning. The gas pedal became flat, and I could not get the car to accelerate no matter how hard I tried. The vehicle essentially stopped in the middle of the highway with me and my two children in it. This incident posed a significant risk to me and my children, as well as to other motorists in that we could have been involved in a major car accident. I called the police and had the car towed to the dealership. The dealership stated that the signal between the pedal and the engine, which cause the car to accelerate was faulty. They said the defect has been repaired, but I will never drive that car again. After this incident, I conducted a little bit of research and I found out that consumers have been experiencing similar problems, dating back to the 2016 model (all of this information is located on google). what makes the situation even worse is that Nissan has, on multiple occasions refused to reimburse my $35,000. I am now paying the price for something that is not my fault. Buyers be aware!
