I took this vehicle to the dealership, and the dealership said that the transmission needs to be replaced. I sold this car to Surburban Chevrolet of Ann Arbor, but they appear to be selling the car without fixing the transmission. It is not safe to drive this car because the vehicle is jerky and may not change the gear properly in the highway.

Vehicle began making a whining noise when starting with car in park, accelerating or decelerating. Didn’t seem to drive like normal. I Immediately took car to my usual mechanic and was notified it was the CVT transmission and it would need to be replaced. I was made aware of the recall by my mechanic. I contacted Nissan and was told they would not cover it. I’ve kept regular maintenance on my car and it only has 131,000 miles. .

In addition, the transmission was slipping. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.

The transmission failed. The car just stopped moving forward while My son was driving in traffic. It was 12:00 in the afternoon on a Friday so local traffic was a bit heavy. Traffic had to go onto the other side of the road creating a hazard. Luckily the car behind was following at a safe distance and was able to stop. There was no previous warnings that this was going to happen. The car had to be towed to a repair shop. The repair shop called NIssan but they said they could not offer any assistance with repairing the transmission even though this is a known problem to them.

My wife was rear ended and side collision accident. She was injured with side airbags both arm was severely cut. The steering airbag did not deploy as a result she had head injury and the upper teeth was push up when her head hit the steering wheel. She had to be pry out with a Crowbar tool.

On [XXX] I was driving my 2015 Nissan Sentra S (manual transmission) in Los Angeles, CA. While traveling at a moderate speed on a city street, another vehicle crossed into my lane, resulting in a direct, head-on collision. The impact caused severe damage to the entire front end of my vehicle: the hood crumpled, the front bumper and grille detached, and internal components such as the radiator support and crash bar were visibly deformed. The damage was so extensive that vehicle two’s (at-fault driver’s) insurance company declared the car a total loss. Despite the severity of the frontal impact, none of the airbags deployed. This was unexpected, as the collision was strong enough to stop both vehicles instantly—pushing my vehicle backwards until both vehicles came to a halt, resulting in significant structural deformation. There were no warning lamps, error messages, or previous issues with the airbag system prior to the accident. Photographs and video footage of the incident are available. As a direct result of the airbag non-deployment, my head and jaw made contact with the steering wheel, causing chest, jaw, neck, back, and shoulder pain, as well as severe headaches. After the accident, the vehicle was inspected by vehicle two’s insurance company and reviewed by Nissan’s Incident Investigation Specialist, Dakota McGregor. Nissan denied my claim for non-deployment of airbags verbally via landline. Nissan’s specialist, Dakota McGregor, refused to provide written documentation, technical justification, or a written denial of my claim, despite my requests. Furthermore, the specialist did not provide or disclose the threshold for airbag deployment in this vehicle, and no crash data or event data was collected or reviewed from the vehicle’s onboard computer. As a result, I am unable to determine the exact cause of the airbag system’s failure to deploy. I am filing this complaint because I believe this incident represents a potential safety defect with the air INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact called on behalf of her son who owned a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that her son was driving at an unknown MPH, when he crashed into a concrete structure. There were no warning lights illuminated. The air bags did not deploy. Her son had a concussion but later started driving to his residence; then was assisted by a police officer. The contact was not sure if a police report was filed. The police notified the contact regarding the accident. Her son was sent to the hospital with bruised lungs, and other minor injuries. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to the salvage lot. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 120,000.

The airbag sensor fails to register the weight of a grown adult in the passenger seat. I have brought my car into a Nissan dealership to get this issue checked out, but I was told that there is no issue. I first noticed this issue approximately 5 years ago and has occasionally occured since. If the airbag sensor does not light up when there is a passenger (who is over 100 lbs and over 13 y/o) and does not deploy the airbag in the event of an accident, the passenger of my car could be seriously injured or killed.

It is sporadic, when I accelerated there is hesitation in the transmission. I almost didn't make my left hand turn fast enough to not get T Boned it has been happening since I got the car in 2016. The dealer is aware of the issue and they said they adjusted something but it keeps coming back.

My car's transmission gave out in November 2023. It was returned the day before Thanksgiving. For the second time on January 11, 2024, the transmission blew. It was towed to the dealership where they notified me that the car would need another transmission. The car received another transmission and the car was returned to me on February 13, 2024. On February 14, 2024, after only driving 65 miles the car stalled after exiting the highway during rush hour. The car would not accelerate properly and was jerking. The car wouldn't accelerate past 15 mph. I was able to get the car to a safe location where I parked and called to get the car towed back to the dealership. On February 15, 2024, the dealership notified me that the transmission blew again. There were no warning signs or lights when the car stalled. It was driving fine until I exited the highway and was sitting at a red light. When I tried to accelerate at the change of the light the car jerked and would not pick up speed past 15 mph. Having my system fail unexpectedly in the middle of traffic put me and my passengers in danger.

I’m getting the code P0101 which is saying I have a bad MAF sensor. I have replaced this sensor and im still having problems. Getting worse than average gas mileage, engine RPM’s going crazy while accelerating. Not idling properly, hesitant and jerky movements. I’m getting tired of searching every little thing and I know lots of people with this same problem. Sounds like a manufacturers mistake.

Between 75-85 miles an hour, the car gets sluggish, acting like it cannot "stay in gear" and the rpms shoot around wildly. It gets worse when it is hotter outside. It feels like it loses power and then shoots up in power erratically, typically in that speed range. My car has only 54620 miles on it

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle started shaking and failed to accelerate as needed. The check engine warning light illuminated, and the vehicle decelerated to approximately 30 - 40 MPH. The vehicle was repaired however, while driving at speeds of 50 MPH or more, the vehicle would start to shake and hesitate while accelerating. The contact stated that over time the vehicle started failing to accelerate to speeds exceeding 50 MPH. On another occasion while driving up to a red light at approximately 40 MPH, the vehicle started jerking while idling at the traffic light. The vehicle then failed to accelerate above 20 MPH and was shaking and losing motive power while driving. The contact pulled to the side of the road to have the vehicle towed. While parked and waiting to be towed, the "Check Engine" warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission had failed. The transmission was replaced after the first failure however, the transmission was not repaired or replaced with the failure persisting. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 100,000.

My transmission has went out 3 or 4 times now. Nissan has replaced it and the same issue keeps occurring. I was driving in the middle of the intersection and my car just stopped. I had to have people help me push my car out of the way. Nobody would stop and almost hit me and the people helping. There were no warning lights that came on. My car jerked then my car would not increase speed. It would just rev really high then not move

My Vehicles stalled on me on multiple occasions one in particular I was with my family including my two year old daughter. when the car began to violently jerk on the NJ turnpike, total ambarassment ensued and ultimately I had to drive that way for about an hour or so. I had a Mechanic from Nissan come to my home and the diagnosis was the tranny was done. Rip to my baby at 115k miles so sad.

Over the last year my 2015 Nissan Sentra has been having problems of judder (shake and shudder), hesitation on acceleration, lack of power and RPM flare. It happens when I am driving highway speed and when going uphill on the highway as well. I went to Firestone to get a diagnostic check and came out with the code of p17f4. I was surprised given that no check engine light has turned on. I will be going to the Nissan dealership and asking them what steps can happen. This is the second Nissan vehicle (the second vehicle is a Nissan Rogue) that has had a transmission problem.

WHILE DRIVING IT RATTLES, PICKS UP SPEED VERY SLOWLY, WHEN STEPPING ON GAS IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO SPEED UP WHICH IS DANGEROUS BECAUSE OTHER TRAFFIC CAN HIT ME FROM BEHIND. MAKES WEIRD NOISE EVERY TIME I STEP ON GAS AND IS GOING 30 MPH. HAVING DIFFICULTY WHEN TRYING TO REVERSE. I WAS AT A STOP AND IT WOULDN'T MOVE FORWARD OR REVERSE I HAD TO ASK FOR HELP TO PUSH THE CAR OUT OF THE STREET. WAS TOLD THAT IT'S THE TRANSMISSION. IT'S ONLY BEEN 6 MONTHS I BOUGHT THE CAR AND IT HAS 70,000 MILES.

The car had problems with failing to start and failing to accelerate while driving. Check engine light came on and OBD scanner indicated it was the CVT. The car was inspected and repaired in March 2023. In 2025 (the same problem of check engine indicating the CVT) is occurring. CVT sensor was replaced; however, two weeks later the check engine light is back on indicating CVT issues and is now also overheating.

This particular vehicle exhibits a very strong, almost dash rattling judder when moving from the 1st to 2nd gearing ratio. This is especially dangerous in traffic and intersections where the vehicle is known to be in 1st or 2nd gear ratio, as Nissan likes to ratio out their CVT in software through the TCM to produce what feels like shifting from gear-to-gear as in a normal automatic transaxle. What makes this situation extremely bad is that when entering an on-ramp to the interstate (I-20 for example) it will intermittently judder from 1st to 2nd and then no power. After the judder it takes another few seconds for the TCM to figure out what happened and engage maybe more valve body pressure? I'm not sure completely, but it's extremely unsafe to drive. The Altima/Rogue with the same transaxle and model year run was issued a TSB and subsequently a TCM update was issued to rectify the early shudder, but the Sentra did not receive that update. The TCM output data shows that when this shudder is happening that there is a loss in hydraulic pressure somewhere in the unit. As Nissan says you never are supposed to change the fluid, this creates a very serious issue not only with the transmission, but warranty as well. The safety risk to others is high on this one because this could cause major rear-end conditions and city driving collisions as the car is supposed to be accelerating but can't because the transaxle was slipping and not gaining speed with the rest of the vehicles as expected.

Bought 2015 Nissan Sentra SR from Nissan West in Dickson, TN. The car didn't even a lot of miles on it. Not even a month after having the car, the transmission went out. Car started acting up on the interstate. Would not shift gears, wouldn't go over a certain amount of speed, almost caused us to be hit multiple times. Finally got it to Nissan West dealership where they did confirm transmission was no good. Nissan West, reworked the transmission instead of giving us a new transmission. Now, over a year and 3 months later, the transmission went out again. Has been confirmed by Nissan West in Dickson, TN. The transmission had only a little over 10,000 miles on it. This time I was pulling out onto a busy street when the car out of the blue would not go forwards or backwards. Luckily we did not get hit and we had to push the car out of the middle of the road.

Me and my daughter was pulling out onto a bypass highway and the car wouldn't go anywhere and we were stuck in the middle of the highway with cars coming towards us. So I had to jump out and while it was still in drive I had to push it out of the highway so we wouldn't get hit by the on coming traffic. I finally pushed it fast enough and jumped back into the car and pressed the gas pedal and it caught so I could drive it home and I parked it.

WHEN BRAKING FROM HIGH SPEEDS THE CAR SHAKES AND DOES NOT WANT TO STOP. I PUT BOTH OF MY FEET ON THE PEDAL AS HARD AS I CAN. THIS HAPPENS UNEXPECTEDLY AND NOT ALL OF THE TIME. WHEN JUST DRIVING AROUND TOWN BREAKING IS FINE. NO SHAKE IN THE PEDALS. I TOOK IT TO A DEALERSHIP AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A CODE. I ALSO TOOK TO THE MECHANIC ( AFC CERTIFIED). THEY SAID MY PADS ARE AT 60% AND THE ROTORS WERE IN GOOD CONDITION.

ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHEN STARTING THE VEHICLE AND DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL TO SHIFT INTO DRIVE, THE VEHICLE MOVED FORWARD AND STRUCK A WALL AT THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WAS PUMPING THE BRAKE PEDAL, BUT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. CAR IS A WHITE NISSAN SENTRA 2015 AND I FILED A COMPLAINED WITH NISSAN AND I WAS TOLD THAT ITS NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT WAS OVER 3 YEARS EVEN AFTER SHOWING THE NISSAN WARRANTY BOOKLET DOCUMENT. I WAS GIVEN SEVERAL OPTIONS BY NISSAN, PAY $9,000.00 MY SHARE TO PAY THE BODY PAINT, $5,000.00 DISCOUNT TO BUY A NEW CAR PLUS 2 YEARS EXTENDED WARRANTY. CAR HAS ONLY 30,000 MILES ON IT WHEN I COMPLAINED JULY OF 2019. I WAS ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET AN ESTIMATE FOR A PAINT JOB TOO. I TALKED TO MORE THAN 1 REPRESENTATIVE DURING THIS ORDEAL AND EVEN PLEADED WITH THEM TO JUST PAINT THE ROOF PART AND THEY SAID NO BECAUSE ITS NOT GUARANTEED THAT IT WILL ONLY BE THE ROOF THAT WILL START PEELING. MY LAST CONVERSATION WITH THEM (KACHA, EXECUTIVE) WAS LAST YEAR WHEN I GAVE UP BECAUSE IT GAVE US TOO MUCH ANXIETY AND GRIEF. THIS IS MY SON'S CAR WHO IS A FIRST RESPONDER AND STILL PAYING FOR THIS CAR TOO. WE WERE A NISSAN FAMILY AND ALWAYS BOUGHT 4 BRAND NEW NISSAN FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.

Transmission is really bad after even nissan replaced it doesn’t shift correct, the car jumps, the brakes really doesn’t do well even after they change it. The motor sound is really high. The car doesn’t speed up on the highway to go in front of the right lane, so it puts me in dangerous several times. All documents of complain since 2019 at Nissan Petaluma ,CA and now the car at Nissan auto nation Las Vegas for the second time after they change the transition . Thanks

On Saturday, 25 SEP 2021, my wife and I departed San Clemente, CA, at 3:30 AM enroute to Idaho Falls, ID. We were driving my son and daughter-in-law’s 2015 Nissan Sentra with approximately 62,000 miles on the odometer. The car contained my wife and me along with 2 suitcases. At approximately 5:00 AM we approached the Cajun Pass, heading north on I15 North, going 70mph with the cruise control engaged. The crest of Cajun pass is approximately 3800 ft and the base of the pass is approximately 1100 ft, thus a rise of 2700 feet in a relatively short distance. As the 2015 Nissan Sentra began to ascend the Cajun Pass, the engine RPMs raised to 3700 RPM, but then the cruise control disengaged and the car lost power. I merged to the right into the Truck Lane and could only go 30-35 mph. Additionally, the engine RPMs would oscillate between 3700-3900, even though my foot maintained a steady pressure on the gas pedal. After we reached the top of Cajun Pass, I15 North actually descends and the2015 Nissan Sentra could then again be driven at 70-75 mph. For the remainder of trip on I15 North from Cajun Pass to Idaho Falls, there are approximately 10 steep grades where Trucking Lanes are provided. In each and every of those cases, the 2015 Nissan Sentra exhibited the exact symptoms it exhibited on Cajun Pass – the car lost power, could only be driven at 30-35 mph, and the engine RPMs oscillated between 3700-3900 RPM, even though the speed was constant and the gas pedal was depressed with the same pressure. There are literally dozens of additional hills between Cajun Pass and Idaho Falls on I15 North where the grade was not steep enough to warrant a Truck Lane, but there is still a considerable hill. In each and every one of those hills, the 2015 Nissan Sentra was only able to achieve a speed of 50-55 mph, even though the posted speed limit is generally 75 or 80mph. CAR ENGINE IS NOT ACCELERATING AND TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO BE STUCK IN A CERTAIN GEAR. TOOK IT INTO NISSAN LAST YEAR AND THEY REPLACED THE VALVE BODY IN THE TRANSMISSION. NOW IT APPEARS IT'S HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AGAIN. VERY SCARY AS I ALMOST GOT INTO A FEW ACCIDENTS. ALSO THE ENGINE IS HAVING THE SAME LOW IDLE ISSUES BUT NOTHING IS AS BAD AS THE TRANSMISSION ISSUES. VERY VERY VERY SCARY

I HAVE BEEN TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY MY VEHICLE LOSES POWER RANDOMLY AND WHY THE CAR RANDOMLY SHIFTS GEARS AND REDUCES SPEED EVEN WITH MY FOOT ON THE GAS. YET WHILE IT DOES THIS THE RPM NEEDLE SURGES BETWEEN 3000 TO 4500. VEHICLE HAS NO CODES AND DEALERSHIP CLAIMS THEY CAN'T REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. MY CAR HAS LOST POWER ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND YET IM JUST SUPPOSE TO BELIEVE THE CAR IS SAFE.I EVEN PUT IN A COMPLAINT WITH NISSAN CORPORATE AND THEY TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THE VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE ANY CODES.

The transmission started with acceleration speed issues, after about a week, it started stuttering and failing to accelerate at all. Today the car would not accelerate through a traffic light which could have caused an accident. A mechanic has confirmed that the transmission is the issue. Initially there were no check engine lights or anything that showed up but now the check engine light is on.

1. Engine malfunction/Transmission: Yes, the car is available for inspection upon request. 2. While driving the car on the road the car begins to hesitate and wanted to stall in moving traffic. Had to pull over vehicle over until it was safe to try and preceded. This problem has continued and now feeling no longer safe to drive on the road. We have a small child, and our car is our main mode of transportation and right now we are without transportation because of this faulty situation with the transmission and we definitely want to make sure that we have a safe vehicle for our family and not to cause an incident with other drivers due to the car stalling. My Nissan Sentra is constantly “jerking” and “stalling” when accelerating. It’s not coming to speed and completely stopping in traffic. The vehicle seems like it’s struggle to switch gears and giving problems with the transmission. This is a very dangerous issue that needs to be resolved.

On 4/29/2003 I had taken my car in for an oil change soon after leaving my car began to come to a stop I attempted to drive my car would hardly move fortunately I was able to make it back to the Valvoline oil change to have them tell me if my oil change was any way responsible after being given a reasonable explanation I was instructed to try and make it to a nearby auto zone i did they did a quick diagnostic I was told it was the pressure solenoid over the next week i reached out to any and everybody i even called Nissan headquarters spoke with someone that said I might qualify for a goodwill assist program, but I had to have the dealership perform a diagnostic testing I did, and found out i needed a transmission i had been driving with a faulty transmission, i am sometimes responsible for my mom to her doctor's appointment I was attempting to turn at a red light had enough time to turn car stalled in traffic which left me stuck in the middle of on coming traffic was finally able to avoid being broadsided my mom would surely have been hurt or worst no indication of having problem until it happened im sure their are others with similar issues im well aware car manufacturers will not have recall on anything that interferes with profit [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The transmission quit working in rush our traffic in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident nearly caused a severe accident, if it hadn't been for two alert drivers during rush hour. After sitting for approximate sixty minutes waiting for a tow truck. Just before the the tow truck arrive another tow driver was going to pick up another vehicle "he stop to help." The tow driver was going to tow the vehicle. He was testing to see what the problem. As he started the vehicle he put it in drive and nothing happen. After a few minutes it jump in gear. The vehicle was driven home with loosing power, surging, and RPM going up without acceleration. This happen in late November. The car continued to jerk, stall, and loose power over long trips. The car was taken to the dealership but they could do nothing until they put a device on it to read codes. This was completed December 20, 2021, I was notified to drive the vehicle for several days up to a week and bring it back to them. The vehicle was picked up and drove per dealership instruction. The car was returned after Christmas. The tech perform a TCM update. They tested and drove the vehicle with myself in the car. The manager concluded the car had transmission problems that pointed to the transmission but it would not reveal a code. Until they get a code or approval from Nissan there was nothing they could. On about January 28, 2022, I was instructed to pick up the car. Also, I was instructed the car was unsafe to drive. It was bitter cold (12 degree) fifteen minutes into the drive home the service manger call (note after hours). The vehicle stalled/loss power and a multiple of problems. Approximately twenty miles away the vehicle caused an accident in which I suffer frostbite and damaged to my left hip. With the assistant of the State Trooper I was safe until the tow truck from D and K arrived. The vehicle was towed back to the dealership and remain until present date, [XXX]. I FILED A CASE WITH NISSAN CORPORATION ON EITHER JULY 29 OR JULY 30, 2019 BUT AS OF TODAY, AUGUST 20TH, I CANNOT GET THEM TO CALL ME A WORK SO I MAY DISCUSS THE PROBLEM. THE LATEST RUNAROUND WAS A VOICEMAIL LEFT ON MY HOME PHONE TO CALL THEIR ARBITRATION AT 615-725-7670 BUT IT GOES TO A RING/NO/ANSWER. When driving, the car started to stutter when accelerating and while driving any speed below 60 mph, while trying to get the car home it would not accelerate up a hill after I stopped at a light and I was in the middle of the street stuck on a blind spot. My husband had to get out and direct the traffic before they came pst the blind spot and hit me.

The car keeps throwing a P0101 code. The MAF Sensor has been replaced and the throttle body has been clean and the engine light and code keep showing up. It is causing acceleration issues making it dangerous to start moving or going fast to get up to speed on the interstate.

Mass air flow sensor code keeps coming on. I have replaced the sensor with the Nissan brand and the check engine light comes on again being the MAF sensor. Also the radio screen is blank.

MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND CODE IS MASS AIRFLOW. I HAVE REPLACED IT 5 TIMES AS WELL AS HAD THE WORK DONE SUGGESTED BY NISSAN FOR THE TBS THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR IT. IT STALLS WHILE I AM DRIVING IT. WHICH ALMOST RESULTED IN AM ACCIDENT. THE ONLY CODE THAT COMES UP ON THE SCAN IS FOR THE MASS AIRFLOW. I HAVE CONTACTED NISSAN AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BRING IT TO A DEALERSHIP. I HAVE HAD IT CHECKED AND RECHECKED AND FIXED AND THE ISSUE IS NOT GOING AWAY. WITH IT NOW STALLING AS I DRIVE THIS IS NOW A SAFETY ISSUE. IT HAPPENED ON A ROUTE WHERE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 50 MILES AN HOUR. For a while now it jerks or pulls, and it only goes up to 1-2 gears like it doesn't want to accelerate. It doesn't shift gear properly more like transmission issues. There is no power.

Transmission malfunction. The car will reduced speed putting me on risk of getting hit in the back and someone colliding with me due the reduction of speed and the slowness of the car to start to gain speed. There was some jerking as gas pedal was pressed down and will slow down and then gain speed before it completely slow down to the point it will not go beyond 40 miles per hour. The car was inspected by the Nissan dealership where the car was bought and transmission is failing internally according to their findings. The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealership. There were no warning/message prior to this problem.

I NO LONGER HAVE THE VEHICLE IN MY POSSESSION BECAUSE I REFUSE TO PAY AN ARM AND A LEG FOR A FAULTY TRANSMISSION THAT WAS BEYOND MY CONTROL TO GET IT REPAIRED AND I WAS SOLD A LEMON VEHICLE.

After getting my transmission serviced, my car started jerking often and lagging on speed from 0-35. Once hitting 40 mph, it would create a loud rev up and a rough kick back. It has stalled out and started up numerous times while sitting in freeway traffic and traffic light controlled intersections to the point that I had to move it and park somewhere safe for 10 mins for it to restart then stall out again a few mins later down the road.

The contact's wife veered to the side of the road, locked the driver's side door, and continued to drive the vehicle. The contact also stated that the driver’s side door would not totally latch upon closing. Additionally, the door handles were fractured, preventing them from easily accessing the vehicle. The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving approximately 5 MPH and slowing down for a traffic sign, the vehicle stalled. The contact immediately stopped the vehicle and placed the gear shifter in park(P) and restarted the vehicle however, the vehicle stalled again. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated and had been illuminated since owning the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that she had experienced failure of the brakes with a metal-on-metal sound while depressing the brake pedal. The contact stated that the failure had become a recurring failure with the engine and the brakes. The contact had taken the vehicle to an unauthorized dealer who diagnosed that the gasoline cap and front and rear brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle had been repaired. The contact stated that the brakes were replaced; however, the engine stalling failure recurred. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. IT WAS TOWED TO PASSPORT NISSAN IN VA, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS TRANSMISSION/TORQUE CONVERTER ISSUES. THE NEXT EVENT OCCURRED ON PULASKI HIGHWAY IN MARYLAND DURING RUSH HOUR. I PULLED OUT OF A CONVENIENCE STORE, WENT TO ACCELERATE, AND THE CAR WOULD NOT MOVE. THE ENGINE WAS FULLY ENGAGED. AGAIN, IT WAS TOWED. I AM TOLD THIS IS ALSO A TRANSMISSION ISSUE. MY VEHICLE WAS PUSHED OFF THE ROAD BY A STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION VEHICLE AND SUSTAINED BODY DAMAGE AS A RESULT. I AM REQUESTING A BUYBACK FROM NISSAN.

I WAS WITHIN .1 MILES OF AN EXIT AND WAS ABLE WRESTLE THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO SAFELY STOP. I AM NOT SURE IF A WOMEN LIKE MY WIFE WOULD BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE CAR IF SHE WERE THE DRIVER. AFTER I STOPPED AND TURNING THE CAR OFF, THE PS LIGHT (THAT LIGHT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT) TURNED OFF AND POWER STEERING RETURNED. I REFUSE TO DRIVE THE CAR AND AWAITING A RENTAL EXCHANGE. 1. Front passenger side seat fails to activate the air bag once a passenger has occupied the seat, and buckled up. The airbag "off" indication light remains illuminated at all times, and if it isn't being activated, may cause bodily harm, injury, or death to any passenger of the vehicle in the unfortunate event of a collision. Vehicle was requested to be checked out at Lorenzo Nissan in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in November 2023, but was refused. FRONT PASSENGER SEAT, FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG, FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG INDICATION LIGHT ••••••••••••••••••••••• 2. 2015 Sentra CVT transmission slips, shakes and stalls. On numerous occurrence this has caused near tragic collisions with multiple vehicles. One such instance forced the vehicle into 'limp mode' in a high speed area of a busy freeway and nearly caused numerous vehicles to collide into the stalled Sentra at rates of speed over 70 MPH. Furthermore, the 2015 Sentra has an issue shifting from park, and will not move out of park, even with the brake applied, unless the gear release button is applied. Vehicle was requested to be examined by Lorenzo Nissan in November 2023, but the dealership refused to inspect any possible safety or equipment issues without the promise of purchasing a new Nissan from their dealership. Car started with a light vibration and after driving for a few feet would no longer accelerate when pressing the gas. For the first few days it would violently jolt like if someone hit me before gaining speed, but when i hit the brake it lags to accelerate. Now the fastest it goes it 20mph. If I press the gas pedal the engine makes a loud noise but does not speed. The dealer provided a code P2895 and suggested changing the whole transmission. The car has kept up with all maintenance checks and fluid changes and is in good condition it just reached 100,000 no accidents. The stalling happened while I was in traffic on the freeway and jolting of the car made it feel unsafe luckily I was able to use the shoulder to exit and call a tow truck. No accident but does not feel safe to continue to drive Cruise control never worked since I bought it. Bought the car new and got it fixed while it was still under warranty but stopped working again. Didn’t bother to cont. getting it fixed since I don’t use it

We bought this vehicle brand new in 2016, and it seem to be a nice vehicle until it hit 30,000 miles. When we hit 30,000 miles in April 2020, the brake system failed, causing a passenger side collision, however, there were no injuries. Then in November 2020, the transmission went out. At that time we had to have the front brakes replaced as well. Then in May 2021 at 40,000 miles, we had to replace the front brakes again. In September 2021 at 50,000 miles, the front and rear brakes started grinding and needed replaced, which ended up having the ABS system, ABS module, brake lines, brake rotors, brake calipers, brake drums, and pads replaced. In February 2022 at 58,000 miles, while driving home, there was a loud bang from the front of the vehicle, the vehicle shuddered violently, had very little acceleration, and there was a large amount of white smoke coming from the back of the vehicle. Had the vehicle towed into the service shop, where they stated the engine block had thrown a rod through the engine. Had the engine replaced. Four days after the vehicle was returned, the front suspension collapsed on the tires. Had the front suspension replaced at 58,000 miles. August 2022, the transmission failed once again at 69,000 miles, and also had to replace the front brakes again. At 76,000 miles, in March 2023, had to once again replace front brake pads, rotors, and passenger caliper. No rear drums and pads need replaced. Vehicle ABS system is nonresponsive, ABS light is on once again, when, pressing the brake pedal, the vehicle does not stop just like when ABS system and module was replaced prior. Emergency brake does not work as well. I have contacted Nissan several times, to which I was told they would no longer service my vehicle. Now I am wondering what to do at this point.

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Sentra. The contact stated while driving at various speeds on a bumpy road, the vehicle would skip to the passenger's side. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the front passenger's side lower control arm ball joint had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, while driving 20 MPH on an uneven road surface, the vehicle started shuddering with an abnormal rattling sound coming from underneath the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle would make abnormal squeaking sounds while turning to the left. Additionally, the contact stated that the front service brakes, brake rotors, and the rear service brakes were replaced twice within four years; however, the vehicle would emit a metallic grading sound while depressing the brake pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 68,000. Diagnostic was done on 4-6-2022 stating that the problem is the same problem as the recall that was put out for 19s26 by Ford.

The 2015 Nissan Sentra SV has issues with stalling during driving, not accelerating over a certain MPR but RPM continues to get higher, and the car seeming to jerk when in drive. The transmission seems to slip. There are no indicators for check engine that has came on prior to these events taking place. Very unsafe driving on the highway when these situations occur. Has had multiple diagnostics done and nothing has been solved.

WHEN I AM DRIVING ON THE ROAD, THE CAR SWERVES IF THERE ARE HIGH WINDS (SUSPENSION ON FRONT & REAR END ALIGNMENT APPEAR TO BE GONE). ON FRIDAY MARCH 15TH IN THE 5 O'CLOCK PM HOUR, I ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR ON THE FREEWAY. I OPENED THE SUNROOF & A GUSTY WIND CAME DOWN, KNOCKING THE CAR OUT OF ITS LANE. I REGAINED CONTROL OF THE CAR. I SHUT THE SUNROOF. THIS HAPPENS NO MATTER WHAT SPEED I DRIVE. THE NEXT PROBLEM IS WITH THE BLUETOOTH. I ATTEMPTED TO CALL A RELATIVE USING THE HANDS FREE VERBAL COMMAND & IT WENT HAYWIRE & BEGAN CALLING RANDOM PEOPLE IN MY PHONE. AFTER THAT, THE CAR REBOOTED ITSELF AGAIN. THIS PROBLEM IS NEW. AND WILL NOT INFLATE IN A CRASH. ON MY VEHICLE THE LIGHT REMAINS ON CONSTANTLY EVEN WHEN UNOCCUPIED, IT DOES NOT TURN OFF AS STATED. IT WAS ONLY WHEN WE SAT IN THE CAR & PUT MY PURSE ON THE FLOOR BOARD THAT WE REALIZED IT. WATER WAS SEEPING OUT OF THE DOOR HANDLES INSIDE THE CUP HOLDERS & ARM REST, DASHBOARD, ETC. I IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE SERVICE DEPT. I SPOKE WITH ASST MGR BRETT, I ALSO TOOK THE CAR RIGHT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP & THERE SHOWED THE SERVICE MGR MARK TOPHAM HOW WATER WAS POURING OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE SEATS, AND THROUGHOUT THE CAR. I WAS DRIVING HOME AND I HAD THIS PROBLEM TWICE YESTERDAY ON THE HIGHWAY DRIVING ABOUT 65 MPH PUSHED THE GAS PEDAL TO THE MAX AND THE CAR DOESN'T SPEED UP THE CAR STARTED TO SLOW DOWN SO I STARTED TO PUSH THE GAS PEDAL MORE TO SPEED UP. EVEN THAT I PUSHED THE PEDAL AS FAR AS POSSIBLE THE CAR DID NOT SPEED UP. I PULL OVER ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY TURN OFF THE CAR AND TURN ON AGAIN CAR THEN THE CAR ACTED NORMALLY. I GOT HOME CALL THE NISSAN DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING THE CAR WHEN I GET THERE AND THE TECHNICIAN AT THE DEALER DO THE ANALYSIS TOLD ME NO CODES BEEN DETECTED BY THE COMPUTER AT THE SERVICE DEP. BUT HE KNOWS BECAUSE I HAVE ONE OF MY TAIL LIGHT CRACK THERE IS A SENSOR THAT SEND INFO TO THE COMPUTER AND THAT'S WHY MY CAR LOSE ALL THE POWER IN THE ACCELERATION. REAR END FISHTAILS UNDER SPEEDLIMIT. ESPECIALLY AT A TURN ON DRY ROAD ITS FISH TAILS. SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE IM IN A LOWRIDER 3 WHEELIN DOWN MY STREET. ELECTRIC P.S PULL TO THE LEFT WAY TO MUCH AND SOMETIME ALSO TO THE RIGHT.

WHILE DRIVING THE NISSAN AT ABOUT 45 MPH, I TRIED TO LET UP ON THE GAS PEDAL, BUT MY SHOE WAS CAUGHT ON THE BASE OF THE CONSOLE, WHICH DELAYED MY ABILITY TO DECREASE MY SPEED.

APPLIED THE BRAKES TO THE FLOOR AND IT SLID ON AN INCLINED ROAD AFTER BEING IN A COMPLETE STOP, RESULTING IN REAR ENDED STRAIGHT THE FRONT VEHICLE. AIR BAGS DEPLOYED CAUSING BURNS AND SEAT BELT BRUISES. THE FORCE WAS SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO BEND A METAL BAR. I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW THE INCLINED SURFACE DIDN'T EVEN HELP STOP THE CAR FOR IT SEEMS TO STILL BE GOING INSTEAD OF STOPPING. IT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN SUCH A BAD IMPACT SINCE GRAVITY AND FRICTION WHERE WORKING TO STOP THE CAR. I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT.

I BOUGHT A NISSAN SENTRA 2015 ON JANUARY 23RD, 2015, WHEN I TOOK THE CAR FOR THE BLESSING I OPENED THE HOOD AND SAW THAT THE MOTOR DIDN'T HAVE THE ARM THAT GIVES SUPPORT FOR THE ENGINE AND IT'S ASSEMBLED TO THE BODY OF THE CAR. I CHECKED THE MANUAL OF MY CAR ACCORDING TO MY TYPE OF MOTOR MRA8DE AND IN THE DOCUMENT THE VISUAL AID SHOWS THIS ARM ASSEMBLED. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AGENCY AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION, THE PERSON IN CHARGE SAW MY CAR AND DOUBTFUL TOOK ME TO SEE THE EXHIBIT CAR. WE OPENED THE HOOK OF THE EXHIBIT CAR AS WELL AND CONFIRMED THAT THE SUPPORT ARM WAS PRESENT IN THE CAR, HE WENT TO EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO THE OFFICE AND RETURNED WITH AN ALLEGED DOCUMENT FROM THE NISSAN CORPORATIVE WHERE IT WAS SAID THAT SENTRA 2015 MODELS DIDN'T INCLUDE THIS ARM AND IT WAS AN ENGINEERING CHANGE FROM THE 2014 MODELS. I ASKED HIM WHAT ABOUT THE CAR MANUAL THEN THAT WAS GIVEN WITH THE CAR AND THE PERSON SAID THAT THE MANUAL ARE NOT UPDATED EVEN DUE TO THE ENGINEERING CHANGE OF THE 2015 MODELS. I ASKED FOR A COPY OF THIS DOCUMENT BUT IT WAS NOT GIVEN BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY IT NEEDED AND UPDATE WHAT MAKES ME DOUBT OF IT. I'M REPORTING THIS COMPLAINT BECAUSE FOR ME THIS IS A SECURITY PART IN THE CAR TO SUPPORT THE ENGINE AND I'M ASKING FOR INVESTIGATION ASSISTANCE IF THIS ENGINEERING CHANGE IS RIGHTFUL AND BECAUSE MAYBE THE DRIVERS MIGHT BE IN DANGER WHILE DRIVING OR EVEN IN A CAR CRASH INCIDENT IF THIS INFORMATION GIVEN WAS FALSE JUST TO AVOID A CUSTOMER COMPLAINT IN THE AGENCY. *TR
