I HAVE RECEIVED SECOND RECALL NOTICE TO HAVE THE PASSENGER SIDE REPLACED AGAIN AS THE ONE THEY ORIGINALLY REPLACED IT WITH IS DEFECTIVE TO. IF THE PASSENGER SIDE IS DEFECTIVE THEN SO THE DRIVERS SIDE IS TO. WANT TO KNOW WHY DRIVERS SIDE ISN'T GOING TO BE REPLACED.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY RECALLED AND REPAIRED IN 2016 PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 15V382000 (AIR BAGS) AND 15V345000 (AIR BAGS) AT SIERRA AUTOCARS INC (626-359-8291, LOCATED AT 1450 S SHAMROCK AVE, MONROVIA, CA 91016). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER DID NOT INFORM HER THAT THE PREVIOUS REPAIRS WERE TEMPORARY REMEDIES. THE DEALER WAS AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

DESPITE MAILER SAYING FREE ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORT AVAILABLE. I'VE TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES. - I NEED A VEHICLE - ALWAYS. LOST CLUTCH TO THE FLOOR WHILE DRIVING NEARLY HAVING AN ACCIDENT. TOOK OFF CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER AS SYMPTOMS WOULD SUGGEST THE REPAIR WOULD BE. FOUND OUT THAT THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY IS BROKE AND THAT THE FIREWALL IS "CRACKED" I CAN SEE LOTS OF POSTS ONLINE WHERE THIS SEEMS TO BE VERY COMMON AND VERY DANGEROUS

5 MONTHS AGO, TOOK CAR TO MAZDA DEALER FOR TIMING CHAIN, VVT NOISE AND WAS REPLACED UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY. LAST MONTH STARTED TO FEEL INTERMITTENT LOSS OF POWER DURING QUICK ACCELERATION FOLLOWED BY PLUME OF SMOKE AT THE TAIL PIPE. TOOK TO LOCAL MECHANIC SHOP AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS HEAVY CARBON BUILDUP AT THE VALVES AS WELL AS MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR, O2 SENSOR, AND OTHER ENGINE COMPONENTS. THE BILL WAS FOR ABOUT 1800 WORTH OF PARTS AND LABOR FOR DEEP CLEANING THE VALVES (INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVED). AFTER REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED, TOOK CAR HOME AND DROVE FOR ABOUT 25 MILES WHEN I HEARD A LOUD BANG FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED AND I SMELLED BURNT OIL AND SMOKE INSIDE THE CABIN. I WAS ABLE TO STEER THE CAR TO THE SIDE AND LOOKED UNDER THE CAR TO FIND LARGE AMOUNTS OF OIL LEAKING FROM ENGINE. HAD THE CAR TOWED TO SAME MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD A ROD SHEARED AND BLEW A HOLE THROUGH THE BLOCK AND PUNCTURED THROUGH THE TRANSFER CASE HOUSING. THERE WAS NO ROD BEARING FAILURE, THE ROD JUST SNAPPED IN HALF. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER THE ENTIRE REPAIR COST AND WILL NOT COVER THE TRANSFER CASE DAMAGE. READING THROUGH SEVERAL FORUMS, THE SAME ENGINE DAMAGE HAS OCCURRED TO SEVERAL OTHER MAZDASPEED 6 OWNERS. THIS TYPE OF ENGINE FAILURE APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. AN INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE THE ROOT CAUSE OF THESE CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURES. *TR

I LOVE THE MAZDASPEED 6 CAR. WHAT I DON'T LIKE IS THAT RECENTLY I'VE HAD TO BORROW ANOTHER CAR TO DRIVE DUE TO THE WHITE SMOKE FROM THE MAZDA. I'VE HAD THE 2006 MAZDASPEED 6 FOR A YEAR NOW WITH 64,XXX MILES, DRIVES WELL, COMFORT COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. TILL RANDOMLY I NOTICED WHITE SMOKE FROM THE EXHAUST. I'M A SAFE DRIVER AND KEEP MY CAR MAINTAINED WELL. THE "WHITE SMOKE" IS MOST VISIBLE AT IDLE. I DID NOT WISH TO GET AN EMISSIONS TICKET, SO I PARKED IT IN MY PARENTS GARAGE. HAVING TO BORROW A ANOTHER CAR IS A REAL PAIN. I HAVE READ UPON MANY SITE'S AND FORUMS TRYING TO SEE IF THIS IS A EASY FIX. IT HAS COME TO A CONCLUSION IT IS NOT. THE LOCAL MAZDA DEALERS HAVE PUSHED ME AWAY DUE TO THIS WHITE SMOKE. I FEEL DISRESPECTED AS A MAZDA OWNER TO BE TURNED DOWN ON ANY HELP ABOUT THIS FAILURE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 MAZDA MAZDASPEED6. THE CONTACT STATED THE ENGINE MADE A LOUD NOISE AND OCCASIONALLY IT WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES WHILE UNDER WARRANTY AND STATED THE ENGINE WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC WHICH INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS WITHIN THE ENGINE VARIABLE VALVE TIMING. THE MANUFACTURER DENIED ASSISTANCE WITH THE REPAIRED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WARRANTY EXPIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 61,000.

I CURRENTLY OWN A MAZDA 6 (2006) WHICH I ACQUIRE O MARCH 13, 2007. SINCE FEBRUARY 15, 2007 MY CAR STARTED TO STALLS AND SHUT OFF. I HAD TAKEN MY VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER (MAZDA JIM CLICK) FOR REPAIRS SINCE THE PROBLEM ARISE. WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE I ALSO PAID FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY PLATINUM (PAS). THE EXTENDED WARRANTY IS FOR 72 MONTHS OR 100,000 MILES WHICH EVER OCCURRED FIRST WHICH INCLUDE ANY MECHANICAL OR ELECTRONIC PROBLEMS IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN IN THE SERVICES DEPARTMENT FOR REPAIRS FIVE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. THEY HAD EXCHANGES PARTS OFF THE VEHICLE BECAUSE APPARENTLY THAT WAS THE ISSUE BUT UP TO THIS MOMENT THE PROBLEM PERSISTS. BACK IN JUNE 6, 2006 I TOOK MY VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER FOR THE SAME ISSUE. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT KEPT MY VEHICLE FOR 39 DAYS; MY CAR WAS RETURN TO ME ON JULY 15, 2008 AND APPARENTLY AGAIN THE CAR WAS FIXED. ON AUGUST 2, 2008 THE VEHICLE STALL AND SHUT OFF AGAIN; THE PROBLEM PERSIST FOR 3 DAYS ON A ROLL AND THAT'S WHEN I DECIDE TO CALL JIM CLICK SO THEY CAN TOWED THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER. SINCE THAT DATE THE DEALER IS STILL TRYING TO LOCATE WHAT IS CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. NOW THE DEALER DECIDES TO EXCHANGE THE COMPUTER IN THE VEHICLE. WHEN THE DEALER TOWED BY VEHICLE BACK TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT ON AUGUST 4, 2008; I INFORMED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER THAT I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB FOR THIS ISSUE. The contact owns a 2006 Mazda Mazda6. The contact stated when the vehicle was started, the engine made a loud ticking noise. The contact stated that once the vehicle had warmed up, the would drive normal; however, while driving 30 MPH, the check engine warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the Variable Valve Timing Actuator (VVTA) was not functioning as needed causing the engine stall and loud ticking sound. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 123,000.

TAKATA RECALL DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY SPEED 55 MPH DROPPED VALVE BLOW HOLE IN BLOCK WHICH ALSO BLEW BIG PIECES OF THE PISTON AND BLOCK ON THE HIGHWAY WHICH COULD HAVE BOUNCED BACK INTO TRAFFIC CAUSING INJURY TO ON COMING DRIVERS OR DRIVERS FOLLOWING VEHICLE. I COLLECTED PIECES OF THE PISTON AND BLOCK ABOUT THE SIZE OF A MEDIUM SIZE HAND WELL OVER 50 YARDS BEHIND THE VEHICLE AFTER I DID AN IMMEDIATE STOP TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS FOLLOWING ME OR ON COMING TRAFFIC SO NO ONE GOT HURT. THIS SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR PROBLEM IN THE MAZDASPEED6 OR MAZDASPEED3 VEHICLES. I WOULD RECOMMEND HAVING THESE MOTORS REPLACED WITH A BETTER BUILT ONE BEFORE SOME ONE GETS HURT OR WORSE DIES.

WHEN VEHICLE IS TURNED OFF THE ENGINE COOLING FAN SOUNDS LIKE THE CAR IN STILL RUNNING...IT REVS UP AND BACK DOWN AND IT KEEPS REPEATING THIS THREE OR FOUR TIMES. I THOUGHT THE HOOD WAS GOING TO BLOW OFF BUT THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE INSIDE THE CAR DOES NOT SAY IT IS OVERHEATING. I BELIEVE THIS THE RESULT OF A FAULTY COOLING FAN CONTROL MODULE. THIS CONTROL MODULE SHOULD REALLY BE RECALLED BECAUSE IT IS PROBABLY CAUSING OTHER PROBLEMS AND IT IS KIND OF SCARY WHEN YOUR CAR IN SITTING IN YOUR GARAGE TURNED OFF BUT KEEPS GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 MAZDA 6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS WERE VERY DIM, WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROAD AT NIGHT WHILE DRIVING. OURISMAN MAZDA OF ROCKVILLE (LOCATED AT 801 ROCKVILLE PIKE, ROCKVILLE, MD 20852, 301-424-7800) REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT BULBS TWICE; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE REMAINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO ASSIST WITH THE REPAIR. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. THE VIN WAS INVALID.

AN EXTREMELY COMMON PROBLEM WITH MANY VEHICLES IS CLOUDING OF THE PLASTIC LENSES OVER HEADLIGHTS. THIS PROBLEM IS EXCEEDINGLY SEVERELY BAD ON THE MAZDASPEED 6. THE CLOUDING CANNOT BE REPAIRED VIA HEADLIGHT RESTORATION KITS AS ONCE IT'S REMOVED, IT COMES BACK EVEN WORSE AFTER. THE ONLY SOLUTION IS TO REPLACE THE PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES. SINCE THESE ASSEMBLIES INCLUDE THE HID HEADLIGHTS ELECTRONICS (BALLAST) THEY ARE INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE. THESE HEADLIGHTS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CLOUD AND BECOME COMPLETELY WORTHLESS WITHIN A YEAR OR TWO. ON MY 8 YEAR OLD VEHICLE THE HEADLIGHTS ARE COMPLETELY USELESS AT NIGHT, THE HIGH BEAMS PRODUCE LESS LIGHT THAN LOW BEAMS ON MOST OTHER VEHICLES. THE EASY SOLUTION FOR MAZDA WOULD BE TO RECALL THE HEADLIGHTS AND RETROFIT A LENS (GLASS OR OTHERWISE) THAT WILL NOT CLOUD. MY CAR IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT DUE TO THE INEFFECTIVENESS OF THE LOW BEAMS. *TR

AFTER GETTING MY AIRBAG RECALL FIXED ON MY 2006 MAZDA6 ON TUESDAY 10- 3 TODAY THURSDAY 10-6 I TOOK IT TO WORK THIS MORNING HALF WAY DOWN THE BLOCK MY DASH SHOWED A CAR WITH A KEY IN IT AND THE HORN STARTED GOING OFF AND MY SIGNAL LIGHTS WORKED LIKE THE HAZARD LIGHTS WHEN I TURNED THEM ON TO TURN RIGHT OR LEFT, I HAD TO PULL THE HORN RELAY TO GET THE HORN TO STOP GOING OFF IT DIDN'T MATTER IF THE CAR WAS IN MOTION OR NOT ALL OF THE ABOVE STILL HAPPENED SO I COULD TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO BE TOLD THAT IF IT WASN'T A MISTAKE ON THEIR END I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT AND I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY BEFORE THEY COULD GET INTO IT.

CAR WOULDN'T START SO WE WERE GOING TO HAVE IT JUMP STARTED. THE CABLES ON THE BATTERY WERE BURNT AND THERE WAS EVIDENCE OF BATTERY ACID ON OTHER PARTS OF THE ENGINE. THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND WAS REPAIRED BY THE DEALERSHIP AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS. NOW, I JUST RECENTLY NOTICED A FUNNY ODOR AND THE VINYL ON THE LEFT FRONT DOOR APPEARED TO BE MELTING AND THE BUTTONS WOULD NOT WORK THE WINDOWS. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC WHERE HE SHOWED ME THAT THE WIRING HARNESS AND SWITCH WAS COMPLETELY BURNED UP. FORTUNATELY THIS DID NOT HAPPEN WHILE DRIVING AND START A FIRE. I WAS DRIVING A HERTZ RENTED MAZDA 6 2006 WITH APPROXIMATELY 1,100 MILES ON IT. WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MILES PER HOUR WHEN I LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR. THE CAR SWERVED TO THE RIGHT AND HIT A TRUCK AND SWERVED BACK TO THE LEFT AND HIT A MEDIAN. ON SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE STEERING LINKAGES WERE FAULTY AND HAD FAILED. THE POLICE HAVE RECORDED THE INCIDENT AS MECHANICAL FAILURE. The front beam crossmember sub k frame of this vehicle has failed due to corrosion. This has resulted in a loss of steering control. Fortunately his failure was discovered while the vehicle was parked or it could have resulted in a very serious vehicle accident. There was an acknowledgment (and recall) of this corrosion failure issue issued by Mazda but it was for a subsequent model years. I contacted Mazda regarding this very dangerous issue and they denied any responsibility.

ON 6/18/2018, THE PASSENGER SIDE STEERING CONTROL ARM BROKE OFF THE SUB-FRAME OF MY 2006 MAZDA 6 WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. FORTUNATELY, I WAS DRIVING ON A SIDE STREET CLOSE TO HOME WHEN THIS HAPPENED AND NOT ON A HIGHWAY. I DID NOT KNOW AT THE TIME THAT IT WAS THE SUBFRAME. ALL I KNEW WAS THAT THERE WAS NO CONTROL OF THE CAR AS IT WAS BEING DRIVEN. THE CONTROL ARM BROKE OFF THE SUB-FRAME BECAUSE THE SUBFRAME WAS RUSTED/CORRODED. IT'S UNACCEPTABLE AND A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE FOR AN AUTO SUBFRAME TO ROT LIKE THAT AND MY CAR ONLY AS ABOUT 86,000 MILES. I CALLED MAZDA USA (1-800-222-5500) AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. THEY STARTED A CASE AND ADVISED ME TO GET THE CAR TOWED TO MY LOCAL MAZDA DEALERSHIP FOR AN INSPECTION. ON 6/29/18, I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO LIBERTY MAZDA. ON 7/5/2018, THE DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THE SUBFRAME FAILED BECAUSE IT WAS RUSTED/CORRODED. AND THE DEALERSHIP QUOTED ME AN ESTIMATE OF $1,973 TO REPAIR THE CAR USING A USED SUBFRAME. ON 7/9/2018, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM ANGELA (REFUSED TO PROVIDE LAST NAME) A MAZDA USA CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. SHE STATED THAT MAZDA USA DECLINED TO ASSIST IN REPAIRING MY CAR. IN OTHER WORDS, MAZDA USA IS NOT OWNING UP TO THEIR ENGINEERING FLAW DESIGNING THE SUBFRAME. EVEN THOU NHTSA HAS RECEIVED NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT SUBFRAME FAILURES DUE TO RUST AND CORROSION. I NOTICED THE COOLING FAN COMING ON EVERY TIME I TURN THE CAR ON AND IT DOESN'T TURN OFF FOR SEVERAL MINUTES AFTER THE CAR IS TURNED OFF. THE ENGINE IS RUNNING IN THE NORMAL TEMPERATURE RANGE, SO I DON'T THINK THE FAN SHOULD BE RUNNING CONSTANTLY. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN ONGOING, BUT ORIGINALLY STARTED IN THE SUMMER OF 2008 (CAR HAD ROUGHLY ABOUT 42,000 OR SO MILES ON IT). INITIALLY THE CAR WOULD INCREASE THE RPM UP TO 7000R IN 5TH GEAR (GOING TO 6TH) AND THEN DECREASE CAUSING IT TO DO A HARD JERK (SOMEONE ELSE DESCRIBED IT AS BEING REAR ENDED AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE). I TOOK MY CAR TO THE MAZDA DEALERSHIP IN MARLOW HEIGHTS, MD (WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY) AND THE SERVICE PERSON AND I WENT FOR A DRIVE (I WAS DRIVING) HE TOLD ME THAT HE DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING OFF ABOUT IT SO I WENT BACK HOME. FAST FORWARD TO 2013 (THE PROBLEM PERSISTED THROUGH THE ENTIRE TIME) WHEN I TOOK THE CAR THE ARLINGTON MAZDA DEALERSHIP. THIS IS WHERE THEY DID A TEST DRIVE ON IT AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT MY CAR'S TRANSMISSION IS GOING BAD (THE CAR HAD ABOUT 49,604 OR SO MILES ON IT). TO DATE, THE VEHICLE (WHICH NOW HAS 58,360 MILES ON IT) HAS TROUBLE PICKING UP SPEED IS EXTREMELY LAGGY AND IN 5TH TO 6TH GEAR WILL PULL A HARD JERK BEFORE IT CATCHES UP WITH ITSELF. I AGREE WITH THE OTHER OWNERS WHO HAVE THIS PROBLEM. MAZDA NEEDS TO RECALL AND REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION BECAUSE THERE'S CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE. BRAKES HAVE FAILED 3 SEPARATE TIMES IN THIS 2006 MAZDA 6. FIRST TIME I WAS DRIVING AND WENT THROUGH A STOP SIGN. I HAVE THE BRAKE PEDAL TO THE FLOOR. PUMPED THE BRAKE AND BRAKES CAME BACK ON. SECOND TIME, BACKING OUT OF GARAGE NO BRAKES. HAD PEDAL TO FLOOR AND HAD TO PUMP THEM BEFORE ALMOST HITTING NEIGHBORS GARAGE, LAST TIME PULLED INTO A PARKING SPOT AND HAD NO BRAKES. I PURCHASED A 2006 MAZDA 6 ISPORT IN DEC 2005. SINCE PURCHASE I HAVE HAD AGGRESSIVE VIBRATIONS IN THE BRAKE SYSTEM EVERY 15,000-20,000 MILES. WHILE I AM A HIGH MILEAGE DRIVER, MOST DRIVING IS ON A HIGHWAY AND DOES NOT REQUIRES START-STOP BRAKING. IN ADDITION, I HAVE REPLACED MY BRAKE PADS WHEN TECH'S HAVE SUGGESTED. I HAVE MY ROTORS TURNED OUT BY THE MAZDA DEALERS 3 TIMES AND IN THE CURRENT SITUATION THE ROTOR CANNOT BE TURNED. THE DEALER AND THE MAZDA CORPORATE REFUSE TO LOOK INTO MY HISTORY OF THIS ISSUE BECAUSE MY CAR IS OUT OF WARRANTY. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH, I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL DOZEN MAZDA FORUMS THAT DISCUSS THIS SAME ISSUE WITH THE MAZDA 6. Car is mint for age. Stock oem hid style headlights failed, headlights are still clear. The turn signals failed and activated safetys. Ground plug under air filter assembly that is a piece of metal bolted to car with 5 wires that plug into it corroded so bad no ground connection and each of the wires made no connection to the plug. No info on how to diagnose and/or repair. Common problem. Took everything apart and soaked all corroded parts in a solution of CLR, everything put back together clean with dielectric grease. Numerous shops could not diagnose including 1 dealer. Said headlights needed to be replaced at $500+/ side parts only. Very common on the rare factory installed HID systems. Wiring is different.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2006 MAZDA 6. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AND CAUSED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. I LEASED MY FULLY LOADED 2006 MAZDA A6 BACK IN DECEMBER OF 2005. EVER SINCE THEN, I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE CAR. FIRST, THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW WAS NOT GOING DOWN. A FEW DAYS AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR, I REALIZED THAT THE TURBO KEPT GIVING OUT ON ME. THEN I CAME ACROSS A HUGE DILEMMA, WHERE THE LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL, DRIVE SHAFT, AND ALL THE BOLTS AND HINGES HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE OF A BOLT WHICH WAS NOT TORQUE ENOUGH. THEN, THE BRAKES KEPT MAKING AN ANNOYING NOISE EVEN WITHOUT THE BRAKES APPLIED AT LOW AND HIGH SPEEDS. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE TIRES WEAR AND TEAR WAS HORRIBLE AT 6,000 MILES, TO THE POINT WHERE I SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THEM, AND MAZDA DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. LATER I FOUND OUT THAT THE AIR PRESSURE IN THE TIRE WAS TOO LOW. AFTER THAT, THE KEYLESS ENTRY/KEYLESS START REMOTE STOPPED WORKING, AND HAD TO OPEN THE CAR MANUALLY, WHICH GOT FIXED AFTER 2 ATTEMPTS, AND JUST REPLACED THE WHOLE THING. NOW, THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE REAR AXLE, AND HOW IT HAS TO BE REPLACED, BECAUSE WHEN THE LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL PROBLEM CAME ACROSS, THEY NEGLECTED TO LOOK OR FIX THE AXLE FROM THE START. NOW THEY HAVE THE COURAGE TO TELL ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE AXLE, AND RENT A CAR, AND ALL THE EXPENSES, BECAUSE THEY WERE NEGLIGENT OF LOOKING AT IT FROM THE START. THEY ARE BLAMING THE AXLE ISSUE ON THE TIRES, WHEN THEY WERE BAD TO START WITH AND THE TIRES THAT WERE GOING BAD WERE THE FRONT ONES, NOT THE REAR. *JB

A POTENTIALLY HARMFUL CHARACTERISTIC OF THE POWER WINDOW FUNCTION. I NOTICED THAT IF MOMENTARY CONTACT OF THE WINDOW CLOSE SWITCHES WERE MADE (OF A LONG ENOUGH DURATION) THE WINDOWS WOULD CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY. IF THE OPERATOR WERE TO DISCOVER THAT THE WRONG WINDOW WAS BEING CLOSED .....SIMPLY LETTING UP ON THE SWITCH WOULD NOT STOP THE POWER WINDOW FUNCTION. THE WINDOW WOULD CONTINUE TO RAISE,EVEN IF SOMEONE'S ARM OR EXTREMITY WAS IN THE WINDOW. IF A PERSON WERE TO MAKE SUCH AN ERROR OF SELECTING THE WRONG WINDOW WITH NORMAL POWER WINDOWS.....SIMPLY LETTING UP ON THE SWITCHES STOPS THE OPERATION. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE WITH THE 2006 MAZDA 6 THAT I LEASED. I DID NOT TEST THE FORCE THAT THE WINDOW WAS CAPABLE OF EXERTING BEFORE STOPPING ON ITS OWN. I IMAGINE ON A SMALL CHILD THAT IT WOULD NOT TAKE MUCH FORCE TO BE HARMFUL OR FATAL. *JB
