About Jayco
Lloyd Bontrager, an Amish farmer in Middlebury, Indiana, founded Jayco in 1968 to manufacture fold-down camping trailers. The brand's name combines Lloyd's sons J.A. Yoder and the Y from Yoder family with Co for company. Jayco grew through the 1970s-2000s into a comprehensive RV manufacturer.
