Winnebago of Indiana, LLC (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2011-2014 Sunnybrook Bristol Bay, Brookside, Edgewater, Harmony, Raven, Remington, Sunset Creek, and Titan, model year 2012-2013 Winnebago Lite Five and ONE, and model year 2013-2014 Winnebago Ultralite and Minnie trailers and fifth wheels, equipped with Fastec-brand door locks. It may be possible to remove the key from the lock in a way that potentially jams the deadbolt.

Risk. If the deadbolt jams, the interior side of the door lock may also jam. A person inside the travel trailer at the time will then be locked in and be unable to exit the vehicle without using the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.

Fix. Winnebago will notify owners, and Fastec will coordinate the inspection and replacement of the cylinders, as needed, free of charge. Winnebago of Indiana, LLC (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2011-2014 Sunnybrook Bristol Bay, Brookside, Edgewater, Harmony, Raven, Remington, Sunset Creek, and Titan, model year 2012-2013 Winnebago Lite Five and ONE, and model year 2013-2014 Winnebago Ultralite and Minnie trailers and fifth wheels, equipped with Fastec-brand door locks. It may be possible to remove the key from the lock in a way that potentially jams the deadbolt.

Risk. If the deadbolt jams, the interior side of the door lock may also jam. A person inside the travel trailer at the time will then be locked in and be unable to exit the vehicle without using the emergency exit, increasing the risk of injury.

Fix. Winnebago will notify owners, and Fastec will coordinate the inspection and replacement of the cylinders, as needed, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-574-825-5250 ,or Fastec at 1-800-837-2505. Winnebago's number for this recall is LOC12414.

The contact owns a 2019 Winnebago Minnie Trailer. The contact stated the frame had developed cracks that extended to the hook bolts fastened to the cross member and the frame rails that reside on the tandem axle. The contact also stated that the bolt member had detached from the bolt and was hanging underneath the trailer. The contact stated the subframe was shifted half hinged wider than it was originally. The dealer was notified of the failures and advised the contact to take the vehicle to their location for diagnosis. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Winnebago Micro Minnie. The contact stated that the two bolts holding up the water tank fractured, causing the water tank to detach from the trailer. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a local dealer nor independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The frame on both sides of my travel trailer has cracks where a bolt goes through to connect a frame cross member from the left side of the frame to the right side of the frame near the axles. Others are reporting the same issue of frame cracks next to certain frame bolts. Cracks appear to have developed over time and normal usage and not the result of any 1 action.
