EGR valve failure. No replacement parts being made to replace failure. Engine doesn’t run smoothly and check engine light is on. Items been back ordered since August last year. No longer California compliant, cannot pass smog. Danger hazard

An error appears "shift to park" when parking. The car does not recognize that it is shifted to park thus it continues to run. A running vehicle that cannot be turned off and can run on gas is a considerable hazard. The gm forum for volts contains many such messages for 2016…

Keep getting action required message "shift to park" even though the car has been powered off. It takes about 5 trys now to actually power off the car, have to repeatedly turn the car on and off to actually power off the vehicle
