SteeringcrashSep 2001
1997 gmc jimmy - steeling failed while driving at low rate of speed as approaching a curve in road. There was no response in the steering and vehicle suddenly veered off road and crashed into trees
SuspensionSep 2003
Ball joints have repeatedly worn out - once at 40000 miles again at 100000 miles. This is after religious lube jobs, etc. Called gmc and my VIN number is not part of the recall, even though it was built and registered in michigan, where jimmy's were recalled for corrosion
Engine And Engine CoolingJan 2002
Engine cooling line to filter and cooling line to radiator are leaking, dealer notified. Feel free to provide any further information
Seat BeltsMar 2000
Sealt belt anchor on right rear will not latch or lock into the buckle properly. Dealer notified, and will not repair unless cost goes to consumer
Vehicle Speed Control
Accellerator sticks and only a gmc dealer had the right stuff to fix, they say it goes on every 30,000 miles and it should not happen, once you fix it you should not have to pay again to fix it
