The vehicles auto start/stop system has failed to restart the vehicle at stop lights multiple times, requiring a full system reset. At least 2 of those times it has failed and would not restart with a the button press reset

Stopped at light. Car turned off per the start/ stop feature. Removed foot from brake and pressed gas pedal, car started but brake light came on and continued to flash. Had to pull over and stop before light would stop flashing and go away
