On [XXX], I was traveling back to Colorado from Missouri. The weather conditions turned poor while I was traveling just west of Topeka, Kansas. I lowered my speed to below the speed limit and continued. At one point, the car lost control. At this time, it veered to left and hit hard against median. Smashing the driver side front end substantially. Airbags did not deploy at this time. My head smashed into the frame to the left of the steering wheel concussing me. (Diagnosed later by an ER Doctor, notes provided in upload) After hitting on the left median, the car then bounced across both lanes of the highway and smashed the concrete median of an overpass. On this second collision the airbags also did not deploy. Before 2023 was over or in the first few days of 2024 I notified Mitsubishi of the issue. They quickly sent me a company called: TM Claims Service, Inc. Out of Pasadena, California. I provided them all of the documentation months ago and have received no communication after they've received it. To my knowledge, there were no previous issues with the airbags or the system that runs them. If I had to estimate the first impact would have been between 50-60mph and the second at least 40-50mph. I could have easily been killed in this situation and I am disappointed in the handling of this. Note the Police Report is not as specific as this and implies one collision, as seen in the photos provided there were two. At this point I do not know where the vehicle is, as it almost been a year and I was trying to work with Mitsubishi on this. I do know if the airbags were inspected following. On november 18, 2019 i was in a motor vehicle accident, hitting a buck going 60 miles and hour, my airbags did not deploy and my seatbelt failed to lock on impact.

Multiple issues with this vehicle I couldn't check off.

I’ve been having multiple problems since I bought this 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 LE. First, my front brakes went out and I had problems with a serpentine belt not even a year and a half later after buying the car I took it to the dealership. They said there was nothing wrong with it. Let me leave with no brake pads and a squealing belt.. thank God I had an sense to have my husband check it and he replaced the belt and the brakes still that didn’t fix the brake problems. We have had brake problems since we bought car which I can prove that we’ve had to change our brakes every almost every 3 to 6 months that is the front brakes. I also replaced the back brake six months ago. I replaced the car with two sets of tires that are supposed to last for 60,000 miles. I have only put 54,682 miles on my car. My husband works four minutes away. I used to drive my car back-and-forth to work and that was 45 minutes one way For about a year, but other than that we have not drove the car except for a few times maybe three hours away for vacation we’ve also changed the spark plugs. This will be the second time we changed the serpentine belt. We’ve changed the air filter multiple times which we’re supposed to do that Spark plugs shouldn’t have to be changed until 100,000 miles. I’m wondering why now I’m having trouble steering the car and while it’s shaking while it’s idling and idling rough, so we’ve done everything that we’re supposed to do dealership is no help at all. Where do we go from here? Still paying on this car my payment is $447 a month so there’s no way I could get another vehicle and let this one go back.

Vehicle is available for inspection. Soon after I bought this car last April I realized it's VERY difficult to see how fast I am going in certain areas that are shadowed, especially on cloudy/overcast days. I have the lights set as bright as they will go but when I get in darker areas during the day I can just barely make out the tips to the 50/60 mph marks and a lot of times when it's cloudy overcast and I get in a darker spot I can't even SEE the tips of the 50/60 mph marks. Turning on the headlights doesn't help at all. I constantly have to "guess" what my speed is and that's a safety issue. I believe the problem stems from a combination of how far back the dash is set and the black cowl that protrudes out over the area. I think the area should be backlit like computer keys or somehow made to light up the way it does at night. I even tried to put some small LED lights in there but they were too dim to help. Another problem I have noticed with this car is that if I have my lights on I can't see my backup camera either, so if I want to back up in a parking garage or during a rainy day when I have my lights on, I first have to turn off my lights so I can use my backup camera.

I recently purchased a 2021Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Carbonite Edition. Vin : [XXX] . I noticed (and tried everything i could) that the forward collision mitigation is not operational (FCM). I took it to the only authorized Mitsubishi Dealer in Las Vegas called 'Johnny Legends Mitsubishi'. They could not give me any helpful details and / or find what was wrong so they did not charge me the $195 fee. I left there with nothing of help. Went online, tried all i could and read the manual. Not sure what to do now. I was also turned down for the five year manufacturer warranty due to the fact i was not the original owner and purchased it new. Airbag light keeps coming on malfunctioning won’t deploy if in an accident. Radio and back tail light on drivers side stop working when the battery was replaced.

The wires in the rear near fuel pump have degraded causing the fuel system failure.. Upon inspection the wires are frayed and possible fire hazaard as its at the fuel pump i have seen many complaints about this on 2017-2023 models including the g4 and hatchback. The keep saying its mice but it is a sealed area and no poop or other damage

My 2019 mirage kept shutting off at random times. Although it started right back at first now it won't start at all. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 44,800.

The dealership committed a large-scale odometer fraud schemes, on my declaration page I didn’t sign the mileage states it had 10 miles and it was a new vehicle and on another page in the contract it stated it had 292 miles. When it was a used car with 2950 miles. And the car transmission is slipping.

i have a 2023 Mitsubishi Mirage BE, when i bought, the odometer is 4470 Miles, this car 1.2L i3 3A92 Engine, the Valve Cover of this Engine have a Leak from back and left of engine, while only 4479 Miles, is too soon for this problem - No Risk

I purchased this vehicle on september 4, 2020. It had 12 miles on it and to my knowledge i was the original owner. On september 21, 2020 i took the vehicle on a 3 hour drive. While traveling at 45 miles per hour, the vehicle hit a deceased small animal (roadkill) with the passenger tire. The vehicle then became completely disabled as the engine stopped operating. Per the insurance adjuster, the object was able to bounce off of the engine, as it is not covered by any plating, shielding or protection. As the vehicle sits very low to the ground, the insurance adjuster was surprised that the vehicle did not have this engine protection as a standard measure. As a result, the small object which should have just bounced off the car was able to cause the engine to completely disable and need to be fully replaced. The damage was over $9,900 in total. In conversations with the dealership, i was advised that this particular mitsubishi car only has a small strip of plastic kick plate under the bumper area, and there is no protection at all from elements or otherwise to the engine undercarriage. No remedies were offered to me in regard to the defective vehicle.

T car transmission is pulling hard, like it is havving trouble pulling forward.

The radio glitches and works when it wants to. The engine clicks before starting, 4-5 clicks and turns over. Electrical issues all over from cutting back of fuel from turning on a/c to rolling down the windows.

When you put the ac on the car slows down and it's hard to drive. The engine makes a lot of noise while it's on and driving. The electrical features glitches all the times.

This has happened 4 times in the last 2 weeks. While driving on the Interstate, the ABS light and skid control lights come on, shortly after all lights and the radio go off and the vehicle loses power. No power even when flooring the gas petal. Getting over to the side of the road, you can turn off the engine, sit for a few minutes, then all is fine. Diagnostics have been run showing no problems. Heading to the dealer, if I make it today! 150,000 miles.

The vehicle was showing no signs initially then as i entered the hwy, the engine light, battery and all lights came on. Then it started banging loudly and pulled over to exit but then the car started to slow down and died on the shoulder of the hwy. I barely made it off and it rested on the exit ramp. The engine light didn’t come on til way later after the car wouldn’t work properly. This is all a hazard to the person driving bc of the car goes limp out of no where it can cause an accident bc it stops working like if it’s on neutral but in reality it’s in drive. Please help!! I don’t even know who can look at my car.

I brought my car in 08/29 2017 new..in 03/15/2018 my speed control begin to be come hard to be shift in to drive and park and reverse while car is in park stationary

The 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 has been having long issues with swaying when going over 60 mph. I kept bringing it back to the Mitsubishi dealership and complaining but they kept saying they could not replicate the problem. One day on the highway, a few years after constantly complaining the right front tire made a sound and the whole car swayed to the left almost flipping over. Luckily I maneuvered off the highway into a grassy area on the side of the shoulder. Several cars avoided colliding with me. Even after the almost fatal incident and being towed, the dealership claimed the issue could not be replicated. Now out of nowhere, for a paint issue while the car was in the shop they determined they found the issue and it has to do with the sway bar and rear axle, and want to charge me $3,700.00

I purchased this Automobile from a new car dealer, and right away noticed a steering defect. The service advisor confirmed the defect, and could not repair the problem. I arbitrated this with the manufacturer, but the results were not in my favor and my claim was denied. Although, the arbitrator determined that a manufacturing defect existed, but did not impact the safety use and value of the motor vehicle, even though on the repair order it clearly states that safety issues may exist as a result of the misalignment.

Vehicle produces loud heavy mechanical noises after ignition and upon turning electric power steering. Steering wanders considerably from side to side on highway straight aways provoking constant need to compensate so as to keep vehicle properly centered within lane and producing considerable fatigue. Even greater noises coming from what sounds like bottom of engine bay when I recently applied heavy braking to negotiate a rather deep storm drain while approaching the factory authorized Mitsubishi repair station. The whole bottom of the vehicle sounded as if it was about to fall out from beneath the vehicle. It sounded and felt like serious Steering, drive train and suspension problems! Vehicle is available for inspection upon request considering a replacement vehicle be provided to assist me with frequent medical visits as I am seriously disabled with Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) and Chronic Lyme Disease and Immune Compromised health status (veteran). Possible multi systems failure including steering. Dealer said everything is OK to my surprise and shock. Problems first appeared on the first day of use July 6, 2022. Uncertain No warning lamps or indicators have turned on, just extremely loud noises and bad steering.

Vehicle is available for inspection upon request considering a replacement vehicle be provided to assist me with frequent medical visits as I am seriously disabled with Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) and Chronic Lyme Disease and Immune Compromised health status (veteran). Possible multi systems failure including steering. Dealer said everything is OK to my surprise and shock. Problems first appeared on the first day of use July 6, 2022. Uncertain No warning lamps or indicators have turned on, just extremely loud noises and bad steering.

So after my car at about 2,000 miles on it my front strut mounts gave out I had them inspected and was told that they were bad the car was practically brand new I was having a lot of noise coming from the front end and I noticed that my car took a lot longer to brake than it should. And I believe that this is a safety concern because it shouldn't be going out that soon and the increased breaking distance associated with it increases the risk of accidents. And the strut mounts should not be bad from that early on. Also another problem that my vehicle has had that I haven't gotten diagnosed yet is there is a popping sound coming from the transaxle where the axle goes into the transmission and a delay in acceleration sometimes and other times my car randomly jolts forward. And I have to explanation as to why. And the third problem that I've had from about the same mileage as my car randomly not turning on though not a safety concern unless you really need to get somewhere it still shouldn't have that problem with so little miles and it's never been in an accident. I just remembered one other thing my car rolls if the parking brake is not on which I feel like that is a safety concern it will roll about a good four or five inches and it is really sketchy and it does not have enough mileage on it to be doing this and I have never been in an accident it started doing this around the same time all these problems arose around about 2,000 miles on my car and I have to have my e-brake on just to feel comfortable to park it and I have a friend who also has a Mitsubishi and hers doesn't do that and I feel like it has something to do with the popping sound in the transmission area.

Tl* the contact owns a 2017 mitsubishi mirage g4. The contact stated that the gear shifter failed to shift out of park while attempting to drive. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.

My automatic shift does not go into shift smoothly its very hard to move shift drive or to reverse @ times

The seatbelt did not restrain me in an accident I was injured from going into the airbag.

On november 18, 2019 i was in a motor vehicle accident, hitting a buck going 60 miles and hour, my airbags did not deploy and my seatbelt failed to lock on impact.

I was stopped in traffic when i was rear ended by a driver doing approximately 50 mph on a 3 lane parkway, which caused me to crash into the car right in front of me. The collision was violent enough to cause bruising on my bicep and upper thighs and knocked my hearing aids onto the dash. The airbag did not deploy and the seat belt inertial reel did not activate properly as my head was above the steering wheel when it finally caught. I do not know if the seatbelt reached the end of its length, or the inertial reel finally locked, but when it did stop me, the lap belt was on my upper things, the shoulder strap was down across my arm and stomach and my head was up over the steering wheel headed for the front window. I believe this exacerbated my lower back injury by causing a severe twisting moment as opposed to being restrained properly in the seat.

Seat belt got stuck under seat and light won’t go iff

The driver seatbelt doesn’t lock to where it unlocks while driving. Also brakes have to be replaced often then the power control sensor made the car go limp out of no where. The engine light didn’t come on til way later after the car wouldn’t work properly. This is all a hazard to the person driving bc of the car goes limp out of no where it can cause an accident bc it stops working like if it’s on neutral but in reality it’s in drive. Please help!! I don’t even know who can look at my car.
